“Then Adam,” Reynolds’s affirmed.

Buoyed by their support, eagerness to begin raced through me. “Let’s move,” I growled.

With the rest of the team following behind me, I took a running leap off the roof.

Recognition, Acknowledgments and Overall Thanks

Jeremy…Thanks for being the first one to encourage me after reading only one paragraph.

Jonathan…Thanks for believing that my book was going to become a movie even when I was only on chapter three.

Justin…Thank you for the many times you told me that you loved my book when you haven’t even read it. I love your books too.

To my sister, who likes to be known to the world as Dee, but who I call Anna…For reading, for being my sounding board and offering suggestions, for contacts in the business, and for overall consulting on all things related to the book, Thanks. And mucho thanks for repeated affirmations, especially when directed to do so.

Mom…for reading the very rough, rough draft through in one long day and for concluding upon finishing that I was a great author. Thank you, Mom.

Jess…Thanks for reading and your positive support and words of encouragement. They were there when I needed them and greatly appreciated.

Kaley…You and Mom were the first ones I let read the book. Thanks for putting up with my nervous hovering, giving up your time and making the trip, and for catching one big error where the text was saying something I had not intended to say at all. You know what I’m talking about.

A special thanks to author Lacy Camey for answering all of my questions and offering valuable advice when I very first began on this journey.

Thanks to Kristi Clark at Under the Umbrella Photography for taking beautiful pictures that made me look like a princess.

Streetlight Graphics, especially Tabatha…for basically holding my hand and leading me through the process, for answering tedious questions, and always having a positive response, even when my emails were more like venting. And of course, the cover work. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Author Bio

C. E. Glines lives in southeast Texas with her husband, three sons and a dog named Scruffy. Besides the writing, her life is filled with chasing after her boys and one home improvement project after another. She loves to eat and hates to clean. She always enjoys good times with her friends and family and reading a good book, especially when the house is quiet enough to actually read it. She holds a degree in manufacturing engineering and was pursuing a degree in biology when she wrote a book, adding author to her resume. She won’t force her opinion on you, but if you ask, be warned. She also longs for the day when she herself can become a hybrid and eat as much as she wants to and still look good.
