Jay Leno did a number of KISS-related skits. One of them was about a new machine the Post Office had for licking stamps: my head with the tongue sticking out. In 1997 Jay asked us to be on the show, but we were playing four sold-out nights in Los Angeles and couldn’t come. He was kind enough to bring his entire crew out to the Forum to film the KISS skits.

One of my youngest obsessed fans. I met this guy when we played Alberta, Canada, on the Psycho Circus tour in 1998. He was five years old. I told him that I was Gene Simmons and he shot right back that
he
was the real Gene Simmons.
