Read Logan Kade (Fallen Crest #5.5) Online
Authors: Tijan
I nodded, mutely, and still a little shaken from the fierceness I’d felt over the painting.
“I’ll unlock the door for you, Shay honey. You know how to leave the school if you stay late. And with that, I’ll leave you alone.” She hustled out of the room and I heard the click of the studio door unlocking a moment later. When I heard her approach, I quickly moved to the second door and timed it so that I exited the room as she re-entered.
And then I was in the empty hallway, still shaken, but the tingle urged me ahead. It was stronger than it had ever been before and I quickly moved to the studio door. I swished through and breathed in freedom as it locked shut behind me. That was when I turned to survey the room.
Three empty canvases were perched on easels.
I forgot everything else.

Here I am, writing this section and I’m bawling. Usually by this time, I’m numb. Sleepless nights. The ease of one pressure, knowing a different pressure will soon replace it, and when the acknowledgements arrive, my mind is mush. Usually. I worry about who I’m forgetting to thank, or who I need to mention, or who might not even read this part, but I should still add. All of it just swirls into one big mess inside, but this book is different.
I have never felt so much pressure or received such fierce opinions about a book until Logan’s book, and the reason for this is Logan himself. He’s been loved and protected by so many readers. Logan is loved by others as much as I love him, and I sincerely thank everyone for that. I tried to write a book to give him justice, and I hope I achieved it. I have cried over this book, forgotten phone calls/events/trips/normal daily stuff because I’ve been thinking about this book. I have laughed. I have agonized and like I said above, I’ve never felt so much pressure, so I truly want to thank all of the Logan protectors because I wrote this book for you.
I also want to thank my agent! Kimberly, you’re amazing and always there. You’re one damned amazing agent and I’m lucky to have you on my side. I want to thank all my betas, admins, and promoters: Cami, Kim, Kerri, Amanda, Amanda, Heather, Eileen, Autumn, Stacey, Pam, Crystal, Tera, Lisa, and oh my goodness—so many!! You guys are some of my go-to people and you’re always there for me. THANK YOU!! Thank you to the Tijanettes!!! You all have created a family in that group and I’m seriously blessed and lucky to be a part of it. A huge major thank you to my editor, Jessica, and my proofreaders, Chris and Paige. My goodness. All of you have helped me so much, and you keep helping. I can’t express how much gratitude I have for you guys. And my formatter, Elaine!! You’re more than a formatter, though. You’ve become a friend and another invaluable source of support and help. I don’t think I hugged you enough in Florida. ;) Oh my gosh, I have to give a big shout out to some authors who read Logan and gave me early feedback, then proceeded to always be there if I had questions or worries: Debra (I’m always safe in your bosom *winking here*), Rochelle Paige, and Jay McLean! And to the ladies at Rock Stars of Romance: I LOVE YOU GUYS!
A special thank you to my mom. Even though you won’t read this, thank you for writing an essay on why you love being a nurse. You had no clue why you were doing it, but you helped me put a thank you in this book to all the nurses out there.
I’m stopping now, because the emotions have now turned to the normal mush. Lol! That means my brain is telling me to move on, so ending it here with:
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
