“Sully,” I groaned, breaking our kiss for the briefest of moments. “You taste unbelievable. Even better than your pussy,” I added, with a tilt of my lips I knew she could feel when I kissed her again. Doing my best to dominate her with my kiss, she suddenly flipped the script and was the one who ended up controlling me. I forced my tongue inside her mouth but it was Sully who set the pace, sucking on my intrusion before playfully biting the tip. The woman was driving me mad, and I kicked myself for waiting so long to connect with her like this.

While I wasn’t going to push her to let me inside her, I needed to relieve some of the pressure of my cock. Placing my hands under her ass, I lifted her up my body and wrapped her legs around my waist, the wall behind her an added anchor. I would tell her later on how much I preferred her in dresses. Easy access and all that happy shit.

Rubbing myself against her core only made me want her more, but I would stay true to my word and wait until she was ready.

Sully

I was lost.

Ripped away was everything I’d ever known, and in its place was a man who both conflicted and excited me.

He made me feel bad for my decision not to have sex with him in his bathroom, although I pretty much led him on by allowing him to go down on me, then again by exciting me with his lips wrapped around my breasts. But when he pulled himself free from his jeans, and started rubbing himself against my core, something told me to wait. I wasn’t sure why because I’d wanted him then, but I knew enough to listen to my inner voice, something which had been missing for some time.

And yes, he yelled at me for denying him, but he’d never made a move to take what was rightfully his. By law I was his wife, so I had to give it up whenever my husband wanted it. Right?

Then he’d gone and backed me against the wall in his room at the club. Asking me if I wanted him to kiss me. Of course I did, and I voiced as much, because my inner self told me to go for it.

The hairs of his beard tickled my chin, but that wasn’t what I focused on. It was his lips and the way they were making love to my mouth. It was his tongue and the passion he poured forth, letting me know how much he was enjoying me. That I could give him something which he craved was a heady feeling. It was the way his thickness pressed against my core, the slight sting of his rough zipper against my barely clothed body sublime, the slightest friction against my clit mind-numbingly erotic. And it was the way his fingers dug into my soft skin, possessing and claiming me as his.

“I want you so bad,” he groaned against my lips. His kiss was amazing, making me feel truly wanted for the first time in my life. Whenever Vex had kissed me, even in the beginning, it was rough and demanding.

Never gentle.

Never passionate.

Never like this.

It was true I didn’t know much about Cole Marek, but I knew enough from the way he tried to protect me that he was a good man. I knew enough from his kiss that he desired me, and I knew enough from the way he talked to me to realize he was conflicted about his feelings for me.

But in a good way.

My instinct told me it was certainly in a good way.

A loud pounding on the door interrupted our little tryst, and it was me who complained by cursing into the air around us. We tried to continue devouring each other with a rawness I’d never experienced before, but whoever was in the hallway wasn’t going away anytime soon. So it was best he address the intruder.

“What?” he yelled, before running his tongue along the side of my neck, only to stop to suck on my earlobe, tickling me with his breath when he whispered into my ear, “I wish we were back at my house right now.”

“Me too,” I confessed, telling him the truth, and in turn basically letting him know I would have given into whatever he wanted to do to me. He looked surprised by my admission, but the look quickly faded into growing agitation toward the person outside his door.

“Marek, open the fuckin’ door, man!” Stone yelled through the thick wood. “Looks like I’ll be taking these two shopping.” He rapped on the door again. “Come on before I change my mind.” I heard Adelaide say something to him but I couldn’t really focus, not with Cole’s mouth still so close to mine again.

“I’m gonna kill him. For real this time.” He said the words, but I knew he didn’t mean them. I saw the way he was with his VP, and it was like they were true brothers. They shared a special bond, a connection only death’s grip could break. So, he could threaten him all he wanted, I knew they were just words said in sexual frustration. It actually made me smile.

“What are you smirking at, woman?” he asked, setting me down to rest on my feet before walking toward the door.

“Nothing,” I lied. Watching him move would never get old for me. He possessed a certain swagger when he walked, a dominance which couldn’t be taught.

Swinging open the door, he stared at Stone while waiting for him to say something else. A silent message passed between them, and it wasn’t until Stone looked at me then back to Cole that I understood what they had communicated. He knew he’d interrupted something big, and his eyes were apologetic, as was his posture.

A couple tense seconds ticked by before anyone spoke. “I’ll take them, Marek. You don’t have to worry about a thing.”

Looking back at me, Cole extended his hand and I readily accepted. He walked me out toward the front door, Adelaide and Stone following close by. Once outside and standing next to Adelaide’s blue Honda, she gave up her keys, but not without a few choice words first.

“I’m fully capable of driving, Stone. Don’t be so pig-headed.” She huffed and puffed, but the look in her eyes while she verbally dueled with the man was very telling. I’d never told anyone what my new friend confessed to me about their ‘relationship,’ and I never would. Not that I had much choice, seeing as how I only talked to a few people, but I would still never betray her confidence.

“I’m not riding in the passenger seat like some kind of pussy, Addy. Now, stop giving me a hard time about this.”

“Well, you could ride in the backseat if you want,” she said, smiling because she knew how much her arguing bothered him.

“That’s even worse.” Opening the passenger door for her, he grumbled, “The man is supposed to drive. Always.” As soon as she was completely seated inside the car, she tried to retort, but he closed the door right when she started talking. Chuckling to himself all the way around to the driver’s side, he glanced up at us still standing there and said, “Come on, Marek. Say good-bye. I don’t want to be gone all goddamn day.”

“Fuck you,” Cole answered, smiling as he opened the back door for me. Before I stepped a foot inside, he grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. “I’ll bring something home for dinner. Then maybe we can watch a movie, if you’re up for one.” Such a simple plan for tonight, but it meant more to me than I could ever express. It seemed he was trying to turn over a new leaf, and the gesture went a long way in my book. When he placed a lingering kiss on my lips, all I wanted to do was wrap myself up in his arms again, but I knew it had to wait.

We were on the road for a full two minutes before Adelaide or Stone finally spoke. “What the hell was that back there, Sully?” Stone asked, staring at me through the rearview mirror. The confusion on his face was rather comical, and if he hadn’t been so serious, I would have laughed.

“What do you mean?” I asked, fidgeting with the hem of my sundress.

“What do you mean, what do I mean? The goddamn kiss. Marek doesn’t kiss anyone. Ever,” he practically shouted.

“Calm down or you’re gonna scare her,” Adelaide scolded, hitting him on the arm for good measure. “Jeez, Stone. What the hell’s gotten into you?”

“I’ll tell you
who
I’d like to get into,” he retorted, and had I not known about the two of them his reply would have completely gone over my head.

My friend huffed in the front seat, but when she turned around to check on me, she winked and smiled, masking her expression as soon as she faced front once again.

My day with Adelaide was so much fun, more than I think I’d ever had. Her ease, confidence and humor soothed me, bringing out sides of my personality I hadn’t even realized existed. Our banter back and forth wasn’t forced but simply flowed, although Stone was the one who received the brunt of it when he started complaining we were taking too long.

I’d never had a girlfriend before, and while the dynamics of the relationship were new to me, Adelaide made it very easy.

My father chose to homeschool me my entire life, so I was never surrounded by girls my own age. Yes, our club had gatherings from time to time, and while there were other kids present, I often chose to keep to myself. Either the other kids made fun of me for how black my hair was, calling me a witch, or they’d call me a slut because my body decided to develop early.

When Stone and Adelaide dropped me off back at Cole’s, it wasn’t until I was standing on the front porch that it even dawned on me that I didn’t have a key to his house. I was in mid freak-out, prepared to walk back toward the car to tell them I had no way inside, when the front door opened.

Cole stood on the threshold in nothing but a pair of black sweatpants, holding a white towel and running it back and forth over his wet hair. His bare torso was glorious, every muscle twitching with the exertion to dry himself. The beautiful artwork on his skin danced, and if it wasn’t for the sharp burst of the horn behind me, I would have certainly lost time watching his every movement. Daring a glance below his waistline, I noticed the outline of his thickness through his sweats. And while I was utterly turned on, I was also a little wary that Adelaide had seen him as well. It was hard to miss, and I wondered how many other women had the pleasure of sneaking a peak at Cole Marek’s goods.

A sudden feeling of jealousy wrapped its ugly arms around me and almost suffocated me. The emotion was foreign, and I had no idea where it had come from.
Is this how he feels when Jagger’s around me? Is this why he almost killed him that night? Because if this is the same thing, I don’t want any part of it.

Realizing I was being irrational, I beamed a smile at him as he ushered me inside.
