     “Oh my, what if we have another son.”

     “Well it is easier then, if your son decides that he does not want to become king, his younger brother will become the next king, but our younger son will not have to kill his brother. Just like if your son cannot fulfil what is expected it won’t matter because he has a younger brother who will be moved up.”

     “Oh so you have no brothers?”

     “No.”

     “So why can’t your sister become queen?”

     “Because she is a prophet, meaning she can see into the future. The fates have decided that she is to be by the King’s side to help guide him.”

     “
Ok.
Couldn’t she be both queen and a prophet?”

     “Alas, females who are prophets would lose their gifts if they became queens, we had one once in the past who had become queen, and her gift had went away as soon as she was declared queen. After doing what was needed for a king to move up, she turned around and her gift was gone.”

     “That doesn’t seem fair.”

     “I agree it is not, but another reason is that while the women are given special gifts the men are stronger and that makes them good leaders, but men and females are equally important.”

     “So we get gifts. Of course you could think of a way to boost your male pride while still trying to make us feel important.” Angyl laughed.

     “Yes some have a gift of healing, some get visions; others can control either earth in some form. All this makes women important because without them vampires and humans alike might have suffered.”

     “Oh that is so cool. I hope I get a gift.” Angyl said as she got her sons sippy, she took it to Ace for him to put blood into it. Right after she got the apple juice poured into it, her son came running in.

     “Mommy is that apple juice?”

     “Yes baby, here you go.”

     “Yay!” he said excitedly. He had taken it and drank it all gone in a matter of seconds; it was after he gave it back to Angyl that he said something.

     “Mommy that juice tasted funny.”

     “How did it taste honey?”

     “I don’t know mommy, it just didn’t taste like normal apple juice.” he said when she saw his face get flushed with fever.

     “Mommy I don’t feel good.”

     “
Ok
honey, why don’t you sit on Ace’s lap while I make you some food, it's probably that you’re hungry.”

     “
Ok
mommy.” Nathan said as he crawled into Ace’s lap then fell asleep.

     “It will be
Ok
Angyl, and you’re right, he will be hungry when he gets up, but even though he can eat real food he will need another drink of my blood, just to make sure.”

     “
Ok,
I’ll rinse out his sippy, and then you can do the same thing again for his last time.”

     “No Angyl this next time he will need to bite me.”

     “It's kinda funny, I taught him not to bite and now he will have to bite.” Angyl laughed nervously.

     “Ya it is, but don’t worry, when he wakes, he will feed then he will not remember feeding from me, so all your lessons on no biting will remain in effect.”

     “
Ok
, am I gonna be the same way.”

     “Yes for the most part.”

     “Will it hurt?”

     “No not that I’ve ever heard of.”

      “
Ok.
”

     “Angyl, you don’t need to be scared, with you we can do it after we have sex or before, this way we can have your mind focused on something else. That is if you want.”

     “I thought to mate we had to do the biting while having sex after the mating ritual?”

     “Yes, but we would have to stay connected through the beginning to end of making love, for just turning you all we need to do is have you bite me and drink a lot of my blood, then I will take back about half of what you took from me, then you will fall asleep, then when you wake you will need to drink from me again. When you come to, like your son, you will be one of us, unlike your son; you will already be an adult vampire.” Ace said.

     “
Ok.
” Angyl said, it was then that she looked at her son and realized his fever was gone, and he was starting to rouse, then she watched Ace hold his wrist out to her son, and watched her son unconsciously bit into Ace's wrist and start sucking.

     After he was done, Nathan woke all the way up and said, “Mommy my tummy feels all better.”

     “I’m so glad honey. What would you like to eat?”

     “Can I get Spaghetti Os mommy?”

     “Of course sweetie.” Angyl said while smiling at her son, then gave Ace a questioning look to see if her son could eat real food. Ace gave a nod, so she made her son a bowl of spaghetti Os, and then after he ate she put him to bed. Once her son was tucked in, on her way back to see Ace, she made a decision that she did not want to have sex with Ace. In fact as much as the sex was great she wanted to save it for after they were mated, a way to bring in the new start of her life.

     “Ace I love you, but until we get mated.... I do not want to have sex.”

     “Why honey?”

     “Because being mated is like getting married, so I figure if we wait it gives us something to look forward to on our wedding night, also it would be a great way to start our new beginning.”

     “Oh.
Ok.
We can do that.” Ace said while smiled lovingly at Angyl.

     “Oh thank you!” Angyl squealed happily.

     “You’re welcome my queen.”

     “So let’s go ahead and start with the change.” Angyl said nervously.

     “Well you need to drink from me first, it works better that way.”

     “
Ok,
um how am I going to be able to drink from you?”

     “I’m going to bite my wrist for you, when it heals I will need to bite my wrist again because you need a lot of blood.”

     “Oh.
Ok
” Angyl said as she watched him bite his wrist. She moved and started to drink from him before she could change her mind, when his wrist closed he re-bit it, then she drank some more until it closed again. He was starting to look pale and Angyl started to worry that she had taken too much from him. So when he said that he needed to bite her now she quickly crawled into his lap and offered her neck. When he bit, it started out hurting, then it moved to peer pleasure, and it also made her extremely horny. It made her so that when he moved his hand down in between her legs and found her sensitive area she nearly came undone, then he started rubbing, and the feel of him on her neck and his hands moving over her sensitive area made her come just as he was done biting her, then Angyl just fell asleep.

     About 2 hours later Angyl came to, lying in bed with Ace and feeling completely herself. She didn’t feel any different so she got up and went to the bathroom, the marks on her neck were gone, she opened her mouth to look at her teeth when she was startled by Ace.

     “Yes Angyl, you made the change, your teeth will not come out unless your body needs blood, otherwise your teeth look normal.”

     “I just had to look because I didn’t feel any different.” Angyl said blushing because she had been caught.

     “That’s a good thing, now come to bed.”

     “You look pale Ace, you need to go feed.”

     “I just want to hold you right now.”

     “Go feed, and then you can hold me.”

     “
Ok,
but only because I don’t have the energy to fight with you my queen.” Ace said as he left her; heading to eat.

Chapter 13

    Ace and Angyl set up the mating ritual to be held the day before Ace's 3 weeks was up. They had set it up with the intent for Ace and Angyl to have more time to get to know each other and so Angyl and her son could get used to their new lives as everything was completely different for them now. She learned that blood, in the state she was now, in tasted sweet and sugary and smelled like candied apples which was a complete and utter shock to her, before, it smelled metallic and definitely didn't taste like this, as she had learned when she had drank from Ace. Angyl had also learned that her son hadn't changed much afterwards; Ace had informed her that this was because he hadn't hit puberty yet, but when he did he would become stronger and faster. She also learned that biting animals for blood wasn’t as gross as she thought it would be and that she was stronger, faster, and could smell and taste and see things with a lot more sensitivity, which, she thought was awesome. Also she knew that she loved Ace with all her heart and that her personality was still the same. She had worried just a little bit that her feelings or personality would change, so she was grateful that they hadn't.

     David knew that his time to strike would be soon, he wasn’t sure how soon, but it would be soon. When he took her he was going to make her torture last. He had everything set up, he had even practiced on a few other females, he would see how much they could stand without dying, by the last one  he had known how long  to torture them and still have them alive. So he knew how much he could do for each thing he planned to torture her with.  Some of these women were weak, he knew Angyl wasn’t, so now he knew what he was going to do for days before he cleaned her up and nursed her back to health. If he had to, he would complete the cycle all over again until she was back in line with him. Once she was back with him he would keep a better hold on her, he felt he had given her too much leash, and that was why she had turned on him. Now he wasn't going to give her any leash at all.

     After he got his wife back in order he was thinking about getting her son... Well their son actually, he could turn their son into a replica of himself; after all he has demon blood in him as well. Plus having his son could help keep Angyl in line. David wasn’t above using what he could to keep her under his thumb, in fact he might use being able to see her son as a tool to get her back and following his rules, and after he talked to his dad earlier that day, he knew that he actually wanted his son for selfish reasons, but still he wanted him.

     David’s dad suggested, was to kill his wife and just take the boy, but David also knew he couldn’t kill her; the human part of him loved her that he would die protecting her from other people. The demon part of him got pleasure in torturing her and tormenting her. Killing her was not an option. His dad did tell him though, that if he got a rare type of wolves bane (so rare that it was hard to find and it would be a miracle to find it) around the Were's, it would knock them all out, after that he would have to be quick about what he was going to do, because if the wind blew the wolfs bane away or someone ended up removing it, the Were's would wake up instantly.

     So now he knew that when he could, he was going to lay it around the grounds, the house, where ever he could get it. He was thinking of hiding it so it would take longer, but first he needed to go purchase some wolfs bane from an underground market his father had told him about. This market was for anything not human, therefore they should know about it, and should carry the wolf’s bane. If they didn't have any, they should be able to get some. So that was where he was heading now. He just hoped it didn't cost him too much for the wolf’s bane, but at this point he would pay any price to get it if it meant getting his wife back.
