     David was so please with himself, he managed to get his wife and she was now tied up in the chair. He just wished she would wake up already. He was so pleased he got past all those guards and managed to get his wife before anyone sounded any type of alarm, he figured he had at least anywhere between 30-60 mins ahead of them, longer if they didn’t find the rare wolfs bane. He thought for sure he would've been caught when that alpha was walking out the door and just collapsed, when his dad said it worked quickly, he wasn’t wrong, David thought while laughing. He sat back with glee, just laughing to himself with pleasure, as he watched all those stupid, weak Were's fall (hell he still found it funny). He saw his wife starting to wake up and when she woke up fully he was going to begin.

     He knew without a doubt that he wanted to watch her face as she wreathed in pain and terror. Just thinking about it was already getting him hard and horny, and he knew he was going to make sure she was watching as he jacked himself off, maybe even while he burned her and tortured her.      Ace went down stairs, with Nathan following right behind him and automatically felt that something was wrong. He scooped the boy into his arms and went to where the Doctor’s office in his home had been set up, to drop him off, knowing the kid would be just fine there.

     “Johnathan.”

     “What, Ace?”

     “I need you to watch Nathan please. Something is not right, oh and be sure to guard him with your life as he is my son now and your future king.”

     “I will watch him with my life, be careful yourself.” Johnathan said, while setting Nathan up in his play area so he could get Angyl's tests finished. He wanted to have them ready for as soon as they got here in 2 days.

     “I will.” Ace said as he turned to Nathan. “Son this is Dr. Johnathan, he is going to watch you while I do something real fast, please do whatever he says while I am not here. I should only be gone a few moments.”

     “Is the Doctor gonna give me a shot? I don’t wanna shot daddy.” Nathan asked with his little lip quivering.

     “No, he will not give you a shot little man.”

     “Promise?”

     “I promise that he is not going to give you a shot, he's just going to watch you, just for a little while.”

It was then he decided to turn back to the Doctor. “Remember, if I do not come back, that since I left the boy with you, he becomes your charge. I am trusting you with my most precious treasure, if I do not make it back raise him well, help him become a great king.”

     “I know, my king, and like I stated before, I will care for him as if he was my own son. I appreciate your trust, my king, and long-time friend.” Johnson said bowing.

     “Thank you, my friend.”

     “Please let me know what is going on after you get done.”

     “I will, if I make it back.” Ace said as he walked through the door and headed back down the stairs, it was then that he noticed the front door was opened and his good friend lying just outside the door. Then he smelled the wolf’s bane, he smelled around and found where it was hidden and picked it up, got a garbage bag, and threw it away. He then went around the property looking for more, as he found several more stalks of wolf’s bane and added them to the garbage bag. It was after putting the last one from around the house in the trash that he noticed that the guards were nowhere to be seen and that the cars his sister, mate, and the guards took, were back. He walked over and saw his sister on the ground bleeding and quickly realized that she was still alive and would be fine, it was then, that the 2 vamp guards that were on the ground started stirring, then quickly jumped to alert.

     “My King.” Vamp guard one said

     “What happened here, Torrent? Where is my mate?”

     “I am sorry my king I do not know, when I was knocked out, she was still here.” Torrent said, with a look of despair written all over his face.

     “Alright, you may go, Torrent, please take my sister to the medical wing, then come back because I will probably need you

     “Yes, my king, thank you.” Torrent said, as he picked up Abby.

     “Darius, please tell me what you remember of it all.”

     “My king, I remember me, and your mate, leaning over Flash after he just collapsed then everything went black”

     “Yes it seems there is wolf’s bane around our property, please take this bag and make sure that I got it all bagged up from around the house. Once you get the entire wolf’s
bane up, I want you and Torrent to take it all to the dump please, as it has rendered all the Were's unconscious.”

     “Yes, my King.” Darius said, bowing.

     “Also, Darius, any vamps that are unhurt, please get them together to help get the Were's to the medical area as well as other vamps if they are in need, and please if anyone knows what happened, have them come see me, so maybe we can figure this out. So we can get my mate back.”

     “Yes, my king.” Darius said, as he ran off in search of any wolf’s bane plants left as well as any vamps that he could wrangle up to help. Ace then decided to move the vehicles into the garage as carefully as he could.

     Angyl came awake and tried to get up and realized she couldn’t move which of course woke her up with a start. She looked around and it was while she looked around that she saw her ex-husband and the implements he had on a table. She then tried to pretend she was still asleep.

     “Angyl, honey, I already know your awake, are we really going to start with games like this?” David said, turning towards her. “I mean, really, I thought you were better than that, my love.”

     “I just needed to close my eyes for a minute; it just threw me off being tied to a chair. Why don’t you untie me?”

     “NO, the last time I gave you any leash, my love, you sent me to prison, this time, I will make sure that you will do whatever I say to do.”

     “You forgot that I also divorced you, I am not your property nor will I ever be.”

     “I see you got some spine, this should definitely be fun.” David said as he slapped her hard across her face, leaving a huge red print. “I think I am going to enjoy this very much.”

     “Yeah, well no matter what you do to me, I will never be yours again.”

   “Well then it’s simple, if you will never be mine then you will never be free of that chair and just remember there are things worse than death so either willingly or by force, I will have you.”

     “NO.” Angyl screamed trying to get away.

She would not deny him being a wolf even though he wasn't because she didn't want him even thinking for a moment about vampires, if he thought about vampires he might figure out that she is one.

     “That may be, not that I understand how considering he's a filthy flea ridden mutt, but just remember you are mine and he will never see you again.” He said as he picked up a knife and made a long cut down her face and leaving behind a line of blood. “I will make sure that no one will ever want you again besides me, I will be the only one to ever be left to love you. But I will say this, I like this new you with the spine and fight in you, I didn't think you had it in you love.”

     “You don’t know what love is. You’re nothing but a monster.” Angyl said through gritted teeth.

     “Well see, that is where you might be right, I am a monster, I am half demon and half human. I am considered a Halfling. But where you are wrong, is that I do love you. It’s why I can’t do like my father did to my mother and kill you. So I suggest that you be thankful that I love you, because if I killed you, you wouldn’t be able to ever raise your son, as it is, you will only be able to see him again if you learn to obey me.”

     “He is no longer your son, his DNA has been changed. Alas he will never be yours ever again and you will no longer have any claim to him. He is now Ace's son.” Angyl said with some satisfaction.

Chapter 15

     Ace knew that Angyl had been taken by her ex-husband; he knew that her ex, was evil, and knew that she was in danger. He didn’t want to sit around and give her ex time to torture her, but he had to calm down enough to be able to track her. He feared for Angyl's safety. Ace called Axel into his office.

     “Axel, my friend, I know how I can find my mate.”

     “How’s that?”

     “Well first, we know who took her, and what he smells like. We also know he would need privacy to be able to put whatever he has in mind into action. There's also the fact that she has my blood in her system, so I should be able to track her.”

     “So are you thinking he took her to a cabin in the woods? If he did, we are a state that has woods everywhere, how will we find her? I am only asking because I don't understand how you’re tracking works.”

     “Once we get in the area that she is in, I will be able to find her, so how you all can help, is by seeing if you can find her smell, it will help narrow it down. From there, I will be able to know exactly where she is and we will be able to go directly to her.”
