“How do you know that they are even in town?”

     “I don’t know if they are in town or not, but I do know that they have to be in this state, because I can feel her. I also know that she is injured, but not dead. I have felt her this whole time but I can't find her by myself. I need to get close to be able to zero in on her.”

     “So she is in the same state as you, so here’s what I think we should do, I will grab 30 Were's and 10 vamps. They will be in groups of, we will have one Were get just her scent, one Were to get the demons scent, and the vampire to give blood, in case she needs it. This will help her temporarily, until we can get her to your doctor and an animal.”

    
“Thank you, my friend, now we need to figure out how to divide up the state.”

     “I know you, my second in command, and I will take wooded areas around your house.”

     “I was thinking that as well, considering I have Angyl's son to look out for, I do want to be close in case he needs me.”

     “I understand, I will go split up the state and then after that we will go take a smell of the place you are talking about, then I will send them on their way, with the understanding that if they think they found her or him, to give us a call before they move. Once we know where they are. We will go and get her.”

     “I am going to have my sister stay here, with Nathan, while we are all looking. I hope we find her soon, seeing as how we have a lot of wooded areas to get through, but I say let’s
start today.”

     “Alright, I’m heading out to get everything in motion.” Axel said, as he walked out. Ace called his sister, got everything set up for Nathan, then he went over to Angyl's old apartment to make it clear for the were's to sniff around, and while he was here, he was going to grab some more of Angyl's and Nathans things, the next time they came back, it would be so that she could pack up her and Nathans things. They were never going to live in this apartment again. They were going to live with him and he was going to up the security to make sure they stayed safe.

     David woke up, got some food, and then went to work on Angyl some more. What he saw shocked him, it couldn't be possible. It looked like all of Angyl's cuts had healed almost completely. To make sure he wasn’t seeing things, he went and got a wash cloth, then he started to clean up the blood, after he was done he dropped the rag and just stood there staring at the pink lines that were left they were faint pink lines at that. So when Angyl woke up he didn’t notice her at first.

     “Why are you staring at me?” Angyl asked, confused and groggily.

     “Your cccuuutttsss they are healed completely healed. How?”

     “What do you mean?”

     “How did your cuts heal?” David asked, starting to get pissed off.

     “I don’t know.” Angyl lied; she knew she wasn’t going to tell her ex-husband anything. So instead she decided to lie again to try to keep him from thinking too hard on it. “Are you sure I’m healed, because I still hurt, I feel like my skin is ripping apart and it burns everywhere. I think I might have an infection.”

     “Yes, your healed, but I’m glad that you still hurt, maybe then you and me can move on, so I am only going to ask you once, are you going to be mine, or should we keep playing this game? Now that I know you will heal, that makes this a lot more fun for me.” David sai
d
maliciously.

     “I will never be yours again. I would rather die.”

     “My love, I will not kill you, why can’t you just figure that out and just decide to be mine. If you could just accept this and obey me, then we can get you cleaned up and have you in a comfortable bed.”

     “I won’t follow anyone, I am my own person. I will not be yours and I was serious when I said I would rather die than be yours.”

     “This is gonna be fun. I think instead of cutting you today, I think I’m going to burn you, so hold on.” David said pissed off that Angyl had the gall to talk to him like this. She was his and he was going to make sure she knew it.

     “It doesn’t matter what you do, you will never have me.” Angyl said as David got a cigarette and lighter. He lit the cigarette, then started puffing only long enough to get the cherry red hot, then he started to burn Angyl with it. He decided to start with her face on each cheek he placed 5 burns and enjoyed hearing Angyl scream. He decided to sit and watch to see if the burns healed, sure enough right before his eyes they started to heal, he then started punching Angyl to see if that would heal. He got her black and blue and with blood come out of her mouth, then he sat to watched. When she did heal, he realized that he was going to have more fun than he thought it would be, he started laughing and clapping with glee. He spent 3 days just torturing her it was on the 3
rd
day her healing started to slow down and that she seemed really week so he took her from the chair and put her into the bath and washed her. Then he chained her and put her into another room, he knew he was going to make her his tomorrow night, weather she was willing or not so he didn’t want her left in the chair and he wanted her clean and rested so he could enjoy seeing her face when he started to enjoy himself with her.

     Ace was starting to get worried, he only had one more area to search, all the other Were's had finished their areas, but he would have to wait ‘til tomorrow to search the last area. Right now he needed to get back to Nathan. He wanted to be there to tuck Nathan into bed and calm his sons’ fears; because ever since Angyl had been taken, her son had cried every night for his mommy and every night he asked were his mommy was and it just broke Ace’s heart. Ace assured Nathan that his mommy would be back soon and that he was being such a wonderful little man, and that his mommy would be proud of him. Every night Ace read Nathan to sleep, then went to his own room and cried he knew he wanted his Angyl back, his mate, and every night Ace would pray for them to find her the next day he didn’t know where she was but every day he felt her pain and every day he felt her getting weaker and weaker. That worried him a lot without blood she wouldn’t be able to move she would be alive and able to hear and feel, but she wouldn’t be able to do anything to protect herself, that is the fear that he had right now, that when he found her she would be so broken that he would never be able to reach her again.

     Angyl laid in the dark, worried about what was going to happen next, she knew she was getting weak. She also knew that she could finally move, so instead of laying down to sleep, she stayed up and moved while she could, she was going to keep fighting until her body couldn’t fight anymore. Also, she knew that Ace would be looking for her and she wanted to be able to hug him when he came. She also knew that she wanted to see her son and give him hugs and kisses, but she had to stay strong to keep her ex-husband from getting to her him. As long as she was strong, she knew her ex-husband would be too busy with her to worry about Nathan.

     It was in the middle of her thoughts that she heard a rat and decided to lay still and see if she could catch it sure enough the rat came right up to her so she grabbed it and drank all its blood, after that she heard what sounded like 2 more rats scurrying around. So with each one she laid still and then would drink their blood. She knew that the blood wasn’t going to do much but that it would hopefully keep her strong enough to last, at least to last ‘til she was free of her ex-husband. It was when she settled back down that she sent out a prayer to God, for help. It was after her prayer to god that she felt a sharp pain in her neck and then blacked out.

     Ace woke up hearing Nathan crying in his room so he went in there to comfort the child.

     “What’s wrong son.” Ace asked, in a soothing voice.

     “Is mommy ever coming back I want my mommy.” Nathan said through his sobs.

     “Yes your mommy is going to come home.”

     “Are you sure? I had a dream that mommy was gone forever.” Nathan said, crying even harder. This jolted Ace and he sent out senses to make sure he could still feel Angyl and was relieved to feel her a little stronger than when he went to bed.

      “Yes, I am sure little man, it was just a dream.”

      “Is mommy still alive?”

      “Yes your mommy is still alive”

      “Are you sure?”

      “Yes I’m sure, I promise your mommy is alive right now.”

      “If she dies would you tell me?”

     “Yes I would tell you little man.”

     “
Ok.
Would you be sad if mommy died?”

     “Yes I would be sad; I love your mommy very much.” Ace said trying to keep from crying.

     “
Ok.
” Nathan said a lot calmer now.

     “Here, why don’t we go down and eat something. Then I will get ready to go try to find your mommy again. How does that sound little man?”

     “
Ok,
I'm hungry anyways.” Nathan said, as he walked with Ace to the kitchen. Ace poured a bowl of cereal for Nathan and himself then, they sat down and ate.

     “I love you daddy.”

      “I love you to son.”

     “Can I go look for mommy with you?”

     “No you need to be here just in case mommy comes back here.” Ace said, trying to keep his son comforted.

     “Oh.
Ok.
”

     “Here, why don’t you go up and get dressed, then I will put on cartoons for you while I get Aunt Abby up, and then you and her can stay here and be on the lookout
for mommy. This would really help me out because I can’t search and be here and I want someone I can trust to be here for mommy.”

     “
Ok.
” Nathan said, a little happier. “I will be a big helper and stay here for mommy. If I hear mommy, I will tell Abby to call you,

daddy?”

     “
Ok
my big helper. Thank you little man.” Ace said ruffling Nathans hair.

     “Welcome daddy.” Nathan said, as he ran to get dressed feeling a little better now that he was helping too.

     Ace wished he would’ve figured this out sooner for the boy. It seems that if he thought he was helping mommy, he was happier.

Chapter 16

     Angyl awoke in an actual room, on a bed, clean and wearing nothing. She was in a disoriented state, she got up and tried to walk around, when she realized her ankle was chained to the bed. She realized she could only go around the room, she found a closet with only male clothes, she found the bathroom but there was no windows just a bed and a closet and a bathroom. She went to the bedroom door and opened it and gasped when she found David on the other side sitting in a chair like he was waiting there for her.

     “Glad to see you’re awake.”

     “Why am I here?”

    
“What don't like this room? I worked hard on this room just for you, but
if you want to go back to the chair for more punishment, I can arrange that as well.” David said, grinning at her like he was thrilled at the idea. “I brought you in here because you are mine and I will make you mine again. Your body, mind, soul, and heart will be mine again, or at least your body if I can't have anything else,”
