Quincy chuckled against her, and it reverberated up through her. He slid another finger inside, turning and twisting, stretching her as her inner muscles clenched tightly.

“Quincy,” she whispered his name. “I can’t… I can’t take much more… Oh my God.”

“That’s the point,” he muttered against her with a smile. She looked into his eyes as he slid another finger inside of her. A cry escaped her lips as they moved in and out, faster and faster, while his lips returned to her clit.

Barely five seconds later, she cried out to the waves. Her knees were jelly, and the only thing holding her up was Quincy’s arm as she embraced the insane tremors of pleasure rushing through her. As she gasped for breath, every nerve on fire between her legs, Quincy scooped her up in his arms and laid her on the blanket.

“That was incredible,” she whispered as she stretched her arms and legs out, more relaxed than she’d been in months.

“It’s not even the best part yet.”

“Oh no?” She rolled over on top of him, flattening him to the blanket. “What part might that be?” She worked at the buttons on his shirt and leaned down to kiss him. His arms wrapped tightly around her, and as their lips moved in a slow, hypnotic dance, Olivia’s fingers almost forgot what they were doing.

Quincy sat up enough so he could take his shirt off. He cupped her face in his hands, pressing her against his bare chest. Olivia moaned as her sensitive nipples brushed his fine hairs and skin. Her hands kept going lower and found his pants. His lips never left hers as she undid them and started to pull them off. He laughed when they wouldn’t go anywhere.

“Stand up,” she said and rolled off of him.

“So demanding,” he teased. “You sound like a princess already.” He got to his feet and quickly removed his pants, leaving him in tight briefs that hugged his erection. Olivia watched intently as he removed those, too.

She reached for his hand and pulled him back down to the blanket, him on his back, as she kissed his neck down to his hip and lower still. She’d never admit it out loud, but she had never touched a cock before. Ever. She’d seen one, but not like this. Olivia’s hands moved down his thighs and back up, and she trailed her fingers up his length. He cursed and closed his eyes. She took that as a good sign and closed both hands tightly around him.

It was warmer than she expected, and she smiled at the feeling. Her hands worked up and down as her clit throbbed between her legs. The need to have him rose up like a sea monster from the waves, and she leaned over, barely letting her lips kiss the tip.

“If you keep doing that too long, we’re not going to get to the main course,” he muttered on a harsh intake of air.

Olivia grinned. Seeing him go off would be fun, but he was right and she wanted him inside her. Needed to know what it was like. She crawled up his body and straddled him. She wasn’t sure how easily it would go, but Quincy took her hips and lifted his own. He pressed against her dripping folds, and she whimpered with need, a sound she thought she would never make. She lowered herself as he lifted again, and he started to fill her, expanding her further than before. They moved slowly, giving her time to adjust to his size, and Olivia’s eyes suddenly widened.

Quincy froze. “Are you alright?”

She sucked in a breath, let it out, and lowered herself all the way down. Quincy groaned as she cried out at the sensation of being completely and utterly filled by him. “Bit of pain, but it’s gone. Wow,” she whispered and stared down at him.

The same need she’d felt all night was reflected back at her in his eyes. Together, they moved, finding a rhythm as she rolled her hips and he thrust up inside her. Her hand moved to his abs, her nails scratching his skin as, once again, everything built to a tidal wave crescendo inside of her. Quincy’s hand moved from her hip, and his thumb massaged her clit. She gasped, and when her eyes found his again, it was over. He sat up and moved faster within her, driving home. His hot seed spilled inside her, and she cried out, tossing her head back as her body shook and trembled in his arms. He groaned her name in her ear, holding her tightly to his bare chest until they gave in and fell to the blanket in a heap.

Olivia stared up at the cliff face above them, illuminated by moonlight as the waves continued their never-ceasing concert. She smiled. This was what she’d been waiting for all those years. The perfect moment with the perfect man. Quincy. She saw it in his eyes in that last moment, the same intense emotion rattling around her mind. There was a connection between them, a link that had been forged the moment she set foot on the isle.

Yet it was going to be impossible to hold onto it. He would be her stepbrother. Olivia frowned. What the hell had she just done?

Chapter 10

It had been a challenge to get back to the palace drunk on their love making because they stopped every few steps to kiss again, but they finally reached the corridors. Olivia carried her sopping wet dress over her arm and wore his tux shirt to cover most of her. If they were found like this, there’d be a hell of a lot of explaining to do.

“Someone’s going to see us,” she whispered. “Where are we going?”

“Back staircase up to our wing of the palace,” he whispered back. “Shit, someone’s coming!” He glanced at Olivia, grabbed her dress, and threw it back into the corridor of the secret passage. He pulled the arm of the statue and it closed. He told her to turn around, flip her hair over her face, and stand behind him a bit. “Oh and giggle like you’re drunk, but don’t lift your face.”

She rolled her eyes at him but did as he instructed just as two maids came around the corner. They were laughing about something, but when they heard Olivia’s high pitched giggle, they stopped.

“Oh, Prince Quincy,” one said, and they both immediately curtsied. “Our apologies, we did not know you were down here.”

“It’s alright,” he said and waved away her words. “I… uh, was entertaining a guest.” The maids frowned but only nodded their heads. “I’d appreciate if you didn’t tell my father about this.”

They hurried past and promised they would not speak a word of it. The maids barely even looked at Olivia, but he heard them whispering as soon as they were far enough away. When they disappeared, Quincy sagged with relief and he took Olivia’s hand.

“Come on,” he said and pulled her along.

The staircase, thankfully, was close by and wound up through several floors of the palace. He helped her through another hidden passage behind a large tapestry, and a few feet later, he peered out into the empty corridor where their rooms were. He could hear the music from the ball. He told Olivia to run, and they made a mad dash from behind another tapestry to his rooms. Quincy closed and locked the doors behind him and turned to see Olivia bent over with laughter.

“Well, that was definitely a new one,” she said as she tossed her hair over her shoulders.

“And you didn’t even freak out,” he said. “You’ll make a fine royal yet, Princess Olivia.”

She frowned at his words and shifted. “Yeah, we’ll see about that. So, what do we do now?”

“I think we could both use a shower. I’ll run to your rooms and grab some clothes. If you want to get started without me,” he said with a wink, “I won’t judge.”

Olivia smirked and headed for his bathroom. She had just closed the bathroom door when he opened the other and came face-to-face with Pascal.

“Ah, there you are, sir,” he said and bowed his head. “Your father is looking all over for you.”

“Oh… well, here I am Pascal. What does he need?”

Pascal raised one brow as he eyed Quincy’s current state of dress, or rather undress, and cleared his throat. “He was hoping you were entertaining one of the many female guests from the ball, but I feel you and he have different meanings of the word ‘entertaining.’”

“Usually, but it is nothing of the sort. I took a walk down by the beach and slipped and fell into the waves. I came to shower and change before heading back downstairs.”

“Yes, I see. And the woman the maids saw you with?”

Quincy’s lips thinned. None of the servants could keep their mouths shut. “She fell in with me, I’m afraid, and has headed home.” The sound of the water turning on in the shower made Quincy’s eyes close as he cursed, and Pascal smiled wryly.

“I see… And her home is in your shower, sir?”

“She is embarrassed,” Quincy whispered. “She ruined her dress and didn’t want people to think that we had… you know. I loaned her my shirt. Poor thing was shivering in the cold. Please, Pascal, don’t say a word about it to anyone?” He watched the man’s face, but like always, he could never tell what Pascal was thinking. It drove him insane.

“Very good then, sir. Will the young woman be needing fresh clothes?”

“Her dress is drying now. She should be fine, but thank you, Pascal.”

“Of course, sir. I expect I shall see you back in the ballroom soon enough.” He turned and walked away but glanced back again. “And have you seen Princess Olivia?”

Quincy kept a straight face as he answered. “I passed her earlier, yes. She sends her regrets that she is not feeling well.”

“Right, then, I shall let her mother know. Perhaps I shall go check on her.”

“No, I’ll do it,” he said and stepped out into the hall. “I have to ask her about her plans for tomorrow anyway. There’s supposed to be a tour at the local university, but if she’s not feeling up to it, I’ll have to make different arrangements.”

Pascal eyed his shirtless chest again. “Very good, sir, though I expect a shirt might be a good idea.”

“Of course. Right as always, Pascal.”

His servant narrowed his eyes but bowed his head and walked away. Quincy dashed back inside and hurried into the bathroom. He could see Olivia through the glass doors and leaned in the doorway, watching the water glide over her naked skin, all worries of being found out forgotten. He could watch her all night, but his suddenly throbbing erection had other ideas. He stepped out of his pants again and slid back the glass doors to join her.

“Not too hot for you, is it?” she asked as she looked at his naked body.

“No, I like it steamy,” he said. He pulled her close until their bodies pressed against each other. “Don’t you?”

She swallowed hard but didn’t answer. His hands massaged her back, and she closed her eyes, sighing against his chest. “Was someone at the door? I thought I heard you talking to someone.”

“Just Pascal. Wanted to check on me, but I sent him away with a pretty good story.”

“Good, that’s good,” she said as his hands went lower, cupping her butt. “Did he say anything else?”

“Wanted to check in on you, but I said I’d take care of it.”

Her eyes opened wide. “Crap, I didn’t even think of someone checking on me!”

“It’s fine,” he whispered and nibbled her ear. “I took care of it.”

One of his hands moved between her legs and cupped her folds while his palm pressed against her clit. Her breath caught as he moved it, massaging her until her hands clawed at his shoulders and he felt a longing to bury himself deep inside her. The bed would’ve been nicer, but it was too risky with so many roaming the palace still and the ball going on. It would have to be the shower. Quincy could work with that.

He slid his fingers inside, feeling her wetness, and bit back a groan of his own. She whispered his name, and he lifted her, moving them to the back wall of the shower. As the water sprayed around them, he thrust inside of her, sliding home in one swift move. She gasped, and her face scrunched for only a second before she sighed and moved against him.

“Quincy,” she whispered as he moved upwards again, driving deeper into her each time.

Little cries escaped her lips each time, and he swallowed them with a kiss, his tongue moving in time with his hips. Her nails dug into his back, and he groaned, needing to reach his release. Needing to hear her groans as she came with him. He felt her muscles spasm around him. He spilled into her, and she cried out with him, her back arching against the shower wall. When it was finished, he lowered her gently back to her feet and held her close.

“Is this what it’s like every time?” she muttered with a lazy smile on her face.

“It can be,” he said and kissed her forehead.

As they stood under the spray of the water holding each other, Quincy felt a sudden lurch in his heart. Part of him had thought when she arrived on the island, she’d be a nice one-night stand. In, out, and done. She’d looked like she needed a good lay. But now, as he held her with her arms wrapped around his back, he realized how wrong he’d been. Olivia could never be just a one-night stand. The way he felt now was different than all the other times he’d slept with someone and then wanted nothing more from them. He didn’t want that with her. In fact, he didn’t want her to leave the comfort of his arms for the rest of the night, but there was no chance that could happen. Falling asleep together in his rooms was too risky. Pascal would wake him in the morning, and the scandal would be the worst the small isle kingdom had ever known.

So what were they supposed to do now? The right thing would be to say they couldn’t have this relationship at all and that they needed to move on with other people. He had a wife to find, and she had a life to eventually return to in Nebraska, if she so chose. This couldn’t happen.
