“I love you, you know that Brooke?  I truly and deeply love you.”

“I love you too cowboy, don’t you ever forget that,” I said cuddling closer.  We continued to watch the movie, holding each other, talking and I listened as Dylan explained what it was like for him growing up.  His childhood wasn’t perfect, nobody’s was, but he came from a family that loved and adored him and it was prevalent in the way they all interacted with one another on the film and in the present.

CHAPTER 14

Dylan kept good on his promise of withholding any love making until we were married.  I was frustrated and lying next to him didn’t help, especially when he reached over, rubbing my mound the following morning.

“Damn you Dylan,” I said irritated.

He laughed, pushing himself against my back side.  “I’m just as frustrated as you are Brooke, but a deal is a deal.  Besides, we wouldn’t want our family and friends to hear us now would we?’ he asked.

“They’re not even here yet and I highly doubt if they were that anyone could hear us in this place.”

“Actually Brooke, they are here.  They all got in late last night, so we need to be really quiet while they all sleep,” he said laughing.

“Whatever,” I rolled my eyes getting out of bed.

“Princess, I have something special planned today.
Why don’t you get ready and then we’ll head out.”

“Okay,” I said.  “I can’t wait to see what you have planned for us now.  I love your surprises,” I leaned down and kissed his forehead.

Dylan was sitting on the couch when I came out of the bathroom freshly showered.  He gave a low, long whistle as I bent over putting on my socks.

“Look at that ass,” he said sitting there looking at me with his shit eating grin.

“Yes,” I said.  “Look at that ass sitting there smiling like a fat kid eating cake.

“What?” he asked throwing his head back, laughing.

“You heard me, I didn’t stutter.”

“Princess, you kill me sometimes.  You just come up with shit out of nowhere.  You’re so quiet and then bam!  You go in for the kill.”

“Get used to it cowboy, there’s plenty more where that came from,” I said winking at him.

“We need to go before this turns into a battle of the wits princess,” he said crossing his arms.

We reached the back of the castle and Dylan grabbed my hand leading me through the lush, colorful gardens.  Trees lined the property and a small stream flowed behind the castle.  We stopped and watched the stream flow, taking in its simplistic beauty before walking further into the thickness of the trees.  There was a narrow opening between a grassy area and Dylan led the way.  Inside a blanket was spread and a picnic basket with two champagne glasses awaited us.

“What do you think princess?” he asked.

I think this is wonderful Dylan, but you spoil me way too much.  Aren’t you afraid that I’ll expect this every time?”

He smiled kissing my hand.  “Brooke, you can have whatever you want, whenever you want.  Whatever you need princess, I’ll give it to you.”

I cocked my head to the side.  “Anything Dylan?”

“Brooke,” he said smirking and pulled me into him.

“Well, you said anything,” I replied.

“You’re such
a smartass today.  I love it, feisty girl.  Let’s sit down.”

“Did you
r mom put this together for us?’ I asked.

Dylan looked wounded.  “No Brooke, Dylan put this together for us,” he said sticking his bottom lip out indicating that he was pouting.

“Don’t stick that lip out too far cowboy; or it might just get bitten.”

“Really,” he said sticking his lip out farther.

“You asked for it,” I said climbing on top of him, gently biting at his bottom lip.  He cupped my face in both his hands as his lips moved softly over mine, taking me slowly and deeply as he placed his tongue in my mouth.  I moaned when his hand reached under my shirt, rubbing my nipple setting me on fire.

“Dylan, please?” I begged.

“What do you need baby,” he asked looking into my eyes.

“I need a release.  This waiting shit is killing me.”

“Oh, so you need this?” he asked rubbing my clit.

I threw my head back and cried out, “Oh.”

“Just like that, right baby?  Or maybe you need me to do this,” he said inserting two fingers inside of me.

“Yes,” I said.  “More.”

“Lay down baby and I’ll take care of you.”

I lay there as he ravished my body
with his skilled tongue, devouring me.  Dylan pulled up leaving me void of his touch, “No,” I cried.

“Princess, I’m
just taking off my pants.  It would be a little tough trying to make love to you with my pants on don’t you think?”

I giggled.  “Yeah, I suppose so,” I said as he entered me.  “Oh god Dylan
!  Yes, right there.  You feel so good, please don’t stop,” I moaned.

“Never baby.  I’ll never stop loving you,”
he whispered, kissing me.

It didn’t take long before we both released, calling out each other’s names.

“See princess, delayed gratification,” he said collapsing on top of me.

“Yes,” I said trying to catch my breath.  “But Dylan, delayed gratification makes us have quickies,” I laughed.

“We’ve been at it for more than an hour Brooke, I would hardly call that a quickie.  You know princess; I think you just love having my cock inside of you.”

“You’re just now figuring this out?” I said kissing his forehead.

“No Brooke, I’ve always known.  I like teasing you; it makes you so hot.”

I slapped his arm.  “You can be so sweet and other times you’re such a pig, Dylan.”

He laughed.  “We really should finish up here and head back.  I’m sure our guests are probably wondering where we are.”

I knew he was right even though I could have spent the rest of the day sitting, talking and making love to him.  I had to remind myself that I had a lifetime with him and that we would only be here for a short time and needed to get the remainder of the wedding plans underway.  We were to be married at seven in the evening in the courtyard surrounded by the gardens.  Dylan had given me the best gift, his time, his love and I couldn’t have asked for a bet
ter man.

***

I was in the castle tower preparing for the wedding.  I looked outside and saw chairs covered in white cloth, with large red bows attached to each row.  The castles gardens made for a colorful backdrop, enhancing the romantic setting.  Dana (my stylist) had just finished pinning the diamond tiara in my up do hairstyle and attached my veil.  My make-up had been done in neutral colors providing a natural look.  My mother, Stephanie and Mandy entered the room just as I was about to slip into my dress.

Dana unzipped the
bag, revealing my dress and instructed me to carefully step into my white tulle ball gown with sheer straps that tapered into an asymmetrical skirt.  I added a red, satin sash with a crystal embellished bow around my waist, adding color and sparkle to the princess like dress.  I had decided to wear the earrings and necklace that Dylan had given me the night he proposed.  Standing in front of the mirror, I saw my mother behind me as she started to cry.

“Mom, please don’t do that.”

“I can’t help it Brooke, you look so beautiful, so happy.”

“I am,” I said holding back tears.

“I’m so happy for you sweetheart.  I know Dylan is going to be a wonderful husband.”

“I know,” I said as my nerves began to kick into overdrive.  I had no doubts about marrying Dylan but the anticipation would soon be over and our lives would truly begin.
I gave my mother a hug before sending her down to join the others.  My Uncle Bobby came up to get me and sucked in a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

“Brooke, you are
such a beautiful bride.  Dylan is a very lucky man.”

Thank you, but actually, I’m the lucky one.”

“You love him very much.  I can see that.  He’s a good man Brooke.  I like him and I know that he’ll take good care of you.”

“He’s nothing like Thomas or Stefan, Bobby.  He reminds me a lot of you.”

He leaned in and kissed my check.  “I think it’s time Brooke.  You’ve got a nice young man down stairs waiting for you.  Are you ready?”

“Yes,” I nodded.  “As ready as I’ll ever be.”

We stood at the door watching Ema and Ally hold hands as they walked and tossed white, rose petals along the red aisle runner.  They were precious and Dylan smiled as they reached the front, running up and giving him a hug.
Mandy and Stephanie went next.  As Stephanie walked down the aisle, I saw Tristan’s lips curve slightly watching her as she reached the front.  Everyone stood as the bagpiper began to play the wedding march.  “It’s time Brooke,” my uncle said hooking my arm with his.  I gripped my bouquet of red and white roses tightly as I began walking slowly down the aisle to Dylan.  He looked beautiful in his black tux.  His eyes began to water the closer I got to reaching him and he smiled, a heartfelt, loving smile at me.  He reached for my hand and pulled me closer to the altar.

“You look beautiful Brooke,” he whispered in my ear.

Pastor O’Malley turned and asked my uncle. “Who gives this woman to this man?”

“Her mother and I do,” my uncle replied.

I could hear my mother and Rebecca sniffling as Dylan and I recited our wedding vows.

“Dylan, do you take Brooke to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day further, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health until death do you part?”

“I do,” he said.

“Brooke, do you take Dylan to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day further, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health until death do you part?”

“I do,” I said.

“What god has brought tog
ether; let no man tear them apart.  By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Dylan Prescott.  Dylan, you may kiss your bride.”

“Finally,” he breathed kissing me long and deep as our guests clapped and whistled.  When the kiss broke, we were both laughing.
Taking my hand in his we walked down the red carpet deep into the flowered garden area.

“I just want
a moment with you alone princess.  You are so damn beautiful, I can’t wait to get you out of that dress,” he said cupping my face taking my mouth into a deep, hungry kiss.

“Dylan, you
have no idea how badly I want you out of that tux right now.”

“Oh trust me Brooke, I know how mu…”

“There you two are,” Tristan’s voice came booming through the garden.  “You two either need to go upstairs or get back out there.  Everyone is waiting to greet and congratulate the bride and groom.

“Shit,” Dylan cursed.  “I just want one minute with my beautiful bride, is that too much to ask?”

Tristan laughed.  “I told you, you’re pussy whipped man.  Except now, you’re not whipped over a pussy you can’t have.”

“Fucker,” Dylan laughed pushing Tristan back.

“We better get back,” I said trying not to join in the fun.  “We’ll have plenty of time to ourselves once this is over.”

We joined our guests and everyone congratulated us.  There were a few family friends from my side but most came from Dylan’s.  The governor had even attended the wedding, bringing along a nice young woman, his mistress I assumed since I knew it wasn’t his wife.  They were flying back in the morning but since Dylan and the governor had become go
od friends he wanted to be here to support him.

Dylan and I sat down inside the castle dining room as dinner was served.  I was starving since I hadn’t had anything to eat since our early morning picnic.  Dylan and I both had fresh salmon, baby potatoes and green beans as our main dish.   After
dinner, we had our first dance as husband and wife.  Dylan chose the song
Then
by Brad Paisley.  As the music played he held me close, sweeping me across the dance floor as he tenderly kissed my lips.  Everyone clapped at the end of the song when he dipped me backwards.

Luke stood and gave a toast to me and Dylan.

“I have never seen my little brother so happy and that’s because of you Brooke.  I feel blessed to have gained a sister and I look forward to watching our family grow and create many more wonderful memories in the future.  Here’s to a long, happy marriage.”

We raised our glasses and sipped champagne.

Then Stephanie stood.

“My sister didn’t smile until she met you Dylan.  I remember when she first told me about you, how her eyes lit up, her whole demeanor changed.  I’m glad that you pursued her because she would be lost without you.  Our family loves you and we’re excited that you’re a part of our lives now.  Here
’s to many happy years of marriage and lots of babies.”
