While maintaining his anonymity following the Commune's brining his activities to a grinding halt, Pitt had seen all he needed to gain a vehement distaste for the Commune. Seraphine Leyen

Age: 14

Race: Durant

Height: 5'6"

Hair: Blonde

Weight: 110 lbs.

Eyes: Green

Build: Thin

Weapon of Choice: None

Religious Affiliation: Duranism

Notable Characteristics: Possesses a Singularity, making her capable of removing the life from an individual through a telepathic connection.

Brief history: Since she was only a few years old, Seraphine has been a prominent figure within the Durant race. At the age of 4, Seraphine's Singularity manifested itself in a horrific and tragic way while her family was in hiding during the height of the Durant Relocation Act. When playing with her older brother, Seraphine's mind connected itself with his and, without any intention of doing so, killed him. While her brother's death was assumed to be a cardiac arrest uncharacteristic to a boy his age, further examination by Peter Scarsborough revealed her Singularity and its destructive nature. As a result, she was put through immediate Elemental training and, at her request, became one of the most skilled healers the Durants had ever seen.

The intentions of Darks leadership, however, was to discover a way to use her as a weapon. By honing her abilities, it was well within her abilities to go head to head with the largest Legionnaire Monolith and come out on top. However, due to the limited nature of her Singularity and its perceived inability to work on a broader scale, her potential as a weapon became an afterthought and, as she was one of the few surviving Durants to make it through the warp gates at Olsgrad Canyon, she became invaluable as a healer and served the role within the Darks resistance.

Samuel Alighieri

Formerly a member of the Ditrinity, Samuel Alighieri would relinquish his position and run for public office, at which point he would win the favor of the citizens of the Aliyan peninsula and be elected as Senator. Following the fall of the Union, Alighieri would become a prominent leader in the newly established Darks resistance where he would work his way into several leadership positions, eventually becoming second in command behind Luke Semprys. He would be promoted to the position of General as it was Luke's desire to fight on the ground at the battle of Olsgrad Canyon. Following Luke's capture, Alighieri would become leader of the crippled Darks resistance and consequently charged with its reconstruction.

Brief History: With appearances throughout many of history's major events, Vladmir Frenz has played a major role in shaping the modern world. And while he claims Purism, his actions keeping congruent with Purist principle as he has devoted himself to the destruction of the Semprys family and the Durant faith, he remains an enigma, his behavior oftentimes contradicting his claims. As such, his true intentions are ultimately unknown.

Thompson and Ranjak

With teleportation as his Singularity, Phanti would aid in the research and development of Durant high technology, most notably the Dimenisor, expensive and understandably complex devices commissioned as gifts to the Ditrinity to better serve their roles as the protectors of the Semprys family.

Former owner of Syrvo Enterprises, Henry Fawkes would meet his demise in a violent car crash on a major Pyrian freeway. Though he was dead, his financial accounts would eventually be linked to the Dakuya and other illegal entities during the subversion of the Republican Union of Relias, a fact which would ultimately lead Luke Semprys to President of the Union Marcus Lynch, whom Luke felt to be Henry Fawkes.

As Luke's theory went, Marcus Lynch was, in fact, Henry Fawkes. In order to mask his involvement with Syrvo, Fawkes would fake his own death and assume the identity of a homeless man by the name of Marcus Lynch through a series of cosmetic procedures. And while Luke is convinced of this theory, it ultimately remains impossible to prove.

Historical Figures

Harland Kincaid (1287-1317 M.E.)

Having served as a sailor under the command of Captain Benedict Solago during the Eastland Migration, Kincaid became a prominent figure in the trans-Carpathic trade route based out of Valhalla. While beginning as an apprentice under Valhalla’s first mayor, George Murray , Harland Kincaid went on to form a fledgling shipping business which later expanded into the largest trade partner in Solara and Eastern Arctanica. One of the acts that he's best known for is the part he played in the introduction of the Stykler into the Arctanican wild, first with the intention of using these agile creatures as beasts-of-burden to expand his trade business and later as goods themselves, being sold for incredible profit to more affluent individuals. His business having transformed into the thriving trade empire it had become, Kincaid eventually disappeared at sea and was presumed dead. While the cause is unknown, many suspected that the ship had become trapped in one a dead zone (an area of supposed supernatural power where time had no meaning, a phenomena later dubbed a 'Decelerated Time Field' by young quantum physicist Malcolm Rowlings.) His shipping business would then be absorbed and headed by George Murray under an executive mandate he himself wrote into law.

George Murray (1251-1327 M.E.)

Mayor of Valhalla, assumed control of Harland Kincaid's shipping business, his ownership made possible through a law that he wrote himself which allowed the ranking political official in the region to assimilate a business should its owner disappear. This law would later lead to the murders of prominent business owners over the next several decades leading to a commercial empire ran by Murray himself. Upon Murray's death, his successor quickly abolished the law and put the companies up for sale, a move which saved western Solara from complete economic turmoil, the effects of which it had already been experiencing.

Ava Malyvyn (4000 Ae.E-Unknown)

Born circa 4000 Ae.E, Ava Malyvyn was an Autocthonid and the woman responsible for the creation of Randism. Having joined the group that migrated to Eastern Elvytica, Malyvyn was one of the strongest advocates for the drinking of blood. The negative reactions to this practice and the necessity for blood-drinking to survive drove Malyvyn to pen the doctrine that would later develop into Randism. This doctrine, containing the writings and teachings of Malyvyn, was known as the
Gotha Vysta
. Malyvyn would eventually become the leader of the theocracy that ruled the Vampire societies of Eastern Elvytica. She died sometime towards the turn of the millennium, and as the only record detailing her death is obviously distorted by legend and sensationalism, the cause of her death remains a mystery.

Carvello Corvice (502-561 M.E.)

At Farell Payne's request, Carvello Corvice, a renowned inventor of the time, set himself to work on developing a way to mass produce Payne's translation of the
Gotha Vysta
. This included the construction of a machine, the development of paper that could withstand the harsh process of printing, and the ink with which they could print that would not smudge or fade. The results of his efforts emerged in 535 M.E. when he revealed the Printing Mill and made the
Gotha Vysta
the first literary work to be mass produced. Corvice would be historically renowned for more than the creation of the Printing Mill but for the invention of mass communication.

Phillip Carver (1370-1445 M.E.)

Born in 1370 M.E, Carver is the only man to explore the Aliyan Isles, make a record of them, and return to the mainland alive. He is the author of the definitive record of the Aliyan Isles,
Transcendence and the Enigma of the Aliyan Isles.
Due to Carver's role in their discovery and exploration, Sirens established a small population on the shores of the Gulf of Aliya. This population would later expand and disperse across Havok. Without Carver, the existence of Sirens would be unknown.

Ayker Blacktree (725-903 M.E.)

Leader of the Arctanican Conquest

Charles Bannick (1465-1551 M.E.)

As the need for resources during Pyre's initial development reached a crisis, Charles Bannick lead a small expeditionary force out of the Selsnik Basin, home to the Pyrian settlement, and to the Byfayne Mountains where he would be instrumental in the establishment of Praemon at the Byfayne Crossroads.
