JEREMY

“Where the fuck is she going?”

“The fuck if I know.” Hunter let out a frustrated sigh.

“Hold up, the upstairs light just went on,” Derrick announced, as he settled in position. Continuing to look for Nicole through the scope of his gun.

“There!” I eagerly licked my lips and adjusted my grip on the binoculars.

The lights flickered in a large open window. Behind the flowing sheer curtains, I could make out Jax’s figure entering the room with Nicole behind him. She looked uneasy as he guided her by the small of her back. Gripping the back of her hair, he pulled her head backwards. She grabbed ahold of his hand on her hair, her mouth gaped open in pain.

“Motherfucker, you have a fucking clear shot, Derrick?”

“No, hold the fuck on.” He relaxed his shoulders.

Jax suddenly released his grip on Nicole as his attention turned elsewhere in the room. A woman was splayed out on a California king-sized bed. Slowly, she got up, sauntering her way up to Nicole.

“She’s in my shot.”

“Who?” Hunter and I asked at the same time.

“The redhead.”

“Take her out too if you have to, just watch Nicole.”

“Don’t fucking rush this, Jeremy. Fucking wait till we have a shot,” Hunter yelled over to me.

Jax pulled the woman to his side, and they admired Nicole together.

HUNTER

“I have the shot, the redhead too.” Derrick waited for the command from Jeremy. I blinked then squinted my eyes to see clearly.

The red hair is what caught my attention. My heart stopped beating in my chest. I was holding my breath as I saw her face turn to the window.

Eva.

“Don’t fucking shoot!” I threw my binoculars and scrambled to Derrick. Jeremy quickly grabbed me, trying to pull me off of Derrick.

“What the fuck!” Jeremy shouted.

“You pull that trigger, and I’ll fucking kill you, Derrick!” I threatened, scrambling to grab his feet as Jeremy pulled me further away.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Jeremy had me in a chokehold.

“The girl. The redhead,” I spat out.

“What about her?” Jeremy demanded.

“She’s my wife!” Jeremy froze, and then released the hold he had on me. Gasping for air, Jeremy and Derrick stared at me in disbelief.

“DON’T FUCKIN’ MOVE!” A voice sounded out over us as barrels of glocks were being shoved in our faces. Fuck, Devils.

Of course, the Hubby comes first in this. Thank you for your love and support through my journey of becoming an indie author. My baby girl, Sofia, for allowing Mama to write! My family and friends, I couldn’t be more grateful for such an amazing support team.
