Prologue

Sophia’s romantic fantasy turns into a nightmare when her
dream-lover, the scorching bad boy Duncan, becomes too close to her.

How come?  How could they be ‘too close’?  What does that
mean?
Flesh on flesh
kind of close?  That’s
not
too
close.

You may ask.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you’re right.  A girl and a guy can
never
become too close.  Boy, look at what’s happening in your bedroom.  You’re
convinced, huh?

But…, in Sophia’s situation, that tragedy sadly occurs.
Please allow me to tell you what the heck is going on…

To start with, wanting Duncan is a
huge
mistake.   He is rough and rude to girls.  “A total asshole” as Zoe, Sophia’s
bestie, puts it.

However, he is more than scorching hot in school.  Come
on, Duncan is a top soccer player with an irresistible guy frame.   Imagine how
much you would ‘suffer’ when his 6 foot 4 muscular body crushes on you…  Boy!
I bet your hungry body will turn one hundred percent
flat
—regardless how
curvy and bumpy it is at this very moment.

Oh, yeah, I almost forget to tell you that his chiseled
chin can cut through the glass.  And his sea-blue eyes can melt cheese in just
seconds.  He is
that hot.

No joking.

Honestly, who doesn’t want to be fucked by that bad boy,
Duncan?  At least a half of the girls Sophia knows lost their virginity to
him.  And another half is waiting for their opportunity, virgin or not.

Sure, Sophia and her bestie Zoe are on that long waiting
list.  Unfortunately, they have no luck whatsoever so far.

Sophia sadly discovers that she would be the last girl to
get Duncan IF she could ever have a chance at all.  She is super quiet.  Her
body is… um… well, let’s say not as curvy as Zoe’s.  For example, her pert tits
are a total embarrassment comparing to Zoe’s monstrous C cups.  Before a girl as
hot as Zoe can’t get a chance, why would she?

Anyway, Duncan is not the only worry or joy in Sophia’s
life.  She is expecting the coming summer vacation.  Then… of course, she will
go to college and leave her high school dream behind.  So…, getting Duncan or
not is not that important after all.

Then one day, she is shocked to learn that Duncan is going
to be
very close
to her very soon—without her doing a thing, not even
raising her pinky.    Oh, wow, that’s her dream coming true, right?

WRONG!  Because her dad is marrying Duncan’s mom.  So…,
sadly, Duncan is now her stepbrother-to-be.

Yeah, he is going to live with her under the same roof,
maybe right next door.  They are going to have zillions of opportunities being
together.

But
fucking a stepbrother?
  For Sophia, this
is so morally unacceptable and totally
wrong
.

But Sophia is a persistent girl.  She doesn’t want to give
up without a fight—though this murky battle is so sinful.

Is Sophia going to win her new stepbrother into her bed,
or is she going to give up and let other girls enjoy the pleasure and pride?

Read on to find out now…

Chapter One

“Sophia, dinner is ready.” Dad is calling from the
kitchen.

I open the door and stick my head out of my room. “I’m not
hungry.”

In truth, I’m
extremely
hungry but I don’t want to
go downstairs.

Closing the door, I drop back onto my bed.

I’ve been feeling so sad the whole day.

See, Duncan kissed me in the park.  His lips were so juicy
and rough, his hug was so powerful.

I mean, I can die for it.  Seriously.

But Dad is getting married to his mother, Nancy.  I hate
it.

It means I can’t date Duncan.

How cruel.

I don’t blame my dad.  But… Why me?  I’m only a girl who
wants true love.  And Duncan is the irresistible prince of my dreams.

Now the irresistible prince is becoming the
untouchable
stepbrother.

I’m totally doomed.

I thought this could only happen in a Hollywood movie, but
now, it’s happening to me.

This is not fair.

But I can’t do anything about it.

Absolutely nothing.

What’s going to happen when we go back to school?  Am I
going to talk with Duncan like we’re siblings?  Or pretend like we’re total
strangers?

I don’t know.

My cellphone rings.

“What’s up, Zoe?” My voice is flat.

“Hey, Sophia, where have you been for the whole day?”

“With my dad.”

“What?” She sounds like I was with an alien or something.
“For the
whole
day?”

“The morning.”

“Then why didn’t you return my text messages?”

“I was taking a nap.” Well, not quite. I just wanted to
ignore all my phone calls and texts, and wallow for a bit.

“Oh, wow, you must be tired.  What did you do this
morning?  Go for a run?”

I don’t want to tell her what happened in the park but I
can’t lie to her.

“Um…, we went to the park.”

“That was it?”

“Oh, well, we met some interesting people.”

“Tell me the whole story.” Zoe gets excited. “Oh, shit.
Give me a sec, okay?”

I hear her running around.  I know she is getting ready
for a long conversation.  She is a girl who
loves
gossip.

“Okay, I’m ready.” she says finally.

“No biggie.  We met Nancy, my dad’s girlfriend.”

“Oh, wow, that boring business monster?”

“Yeah.” I take a deep breath, thinking hard.

Should I tell her about Duncan?  I don’t want to but
our Bestie Code Number One forces me to tell her everything.

“Hey, Sophia, you still there?”

“Yup.”

“So, what’s up?  Are they getting married?”

“Kind of.”

“Wow, you’re going to have a tough stepmom.”

“She’s nice to me.”  I hesitate for a few moments and add,
“Guess what?”

“What?”

“Nancy has a son.”

“A son?  How old is he?  Is he hot?  Can I meet him?” Oh,
boy, Zoe is so excited.

“Come on, Zoe, you have a boyfriend already.”

“So?  We can be friends, right?”

For her, a male ‘friend’ means something else anyway.

“Yeah, right, friends, huh?”

“No bullshit, Sophia.  I want to see him.”

“You saw him already.” My smirk grows big.

“Really?  Is he in our school?  Who is he?”

“Duncan.” I shake my head.  Man, I seriously didn’t want
to tell her this secret but it’s all bound to come out eventually.

“What?
That
Duncan?”

“Yeah,
that
Duncan.” I roll my eyes.

“Oh, boy, oh, boy, Sophia, I can’t believe it.”

“Look, Humming Bird, nothing has changed, okay?”

“What do you mean nothing has changed?
Everything
has changed.  You know what?  Let’s hang out tomorrow.  It’s Sunday, right?”

“Sorry, we can’t.”

“Oh, come on, please, Sophia.  He is now your
stepbrother.  You can’t date him anyway.”

“Who says?” My body turns hot.

“Ew, Sophia, you’re so gross.”

“I don’t know that.”

At least I’m not dating someone else when I have a
boyfriend already.

“Anyway, I want to see him tomorrow morning.” she demands.

“As I said, nothing has changed.  He won’t talk to me.”

“Are you serious, Sophia?”

“I am.”

“What a total ass.” She sounds so disappointed.

“Sorry.  I can’t help it.”

“That’s okay.”

“Hey, Zoe, promise to keep this a secret, okay?”

“I’ll try.”

Boy, every girl in school is going to gossip about this
Duncan stepbrother shit on Monday.

Chapter two

I stroll downstairs.  My tummy is rumbling.  It’s already
ten thirty.

The food smells good.  I microwave everything, drinking a
glass of milk at the same time.

Dad is sitting at the kitchen table, reading the
newspaper.

He smiles at me while I’m eating.

“How’s the food?”

“Yummy.  Thank you so much, Dad.”

“You’re welcome, Sophia.”

I lean back and sip my milk.  The meal makes me feel good.

“So, what’s your plan for tomorrow?” Dad asks.

“Sleep.” I grin.  I’m going to sleep through the whole
Sunday.

“How about we get some fresh air in the afternoon?”

“Oh, come on, Dad…” I want to stay at home to try my new BareMinerals
makeup.  Also, I want to paint my toe nails purple this time.

“Let’s go with Nancy…”

“Again?  Why?”

“She bought a new house not long ago and she invited us to
move in.”

“Dad!” I hate the idea.  Nancy has bossed my dad too
much.  I don’t want to be bossed that way.

“See, Sophia, we’re going to be one family soon.  This
house is too small.”

“But this is my
home
.”  I look around.  There is so
many memories around.   A few of my crayon drawings are still on the wall.

“I know, Sophia.  We can move everything over.”

“Why can’t Nancy move over here?”

“Because her son is going to live with us, too.  We don’t
have enough rooms.”

“Really?  You mean Duncan is going to live with us?”

“Yup.”

“Is he going to the new house tomorrow?”

“Of course.”

“Okay, I’m going.” I give Dad a big kiss.

Oh, boy, I’m going to see Duncan tomorrow.

The new house is only a few blocks away.

“Come on in.  Sophia, you look so pretty today.” Nancy
greets us at the door.

“Thank you.” I smile at her.

Sure, I look much better today.  I spent over two hours on
my makeup and another hour to pick out my dress.  I want to look perfect to
Duncan.

The first thing I notice is the big windows.   They are
everywhere.

The sitting room is much bigger than ours, with a whole
wall occupied by a large TV screen.

The kitchen is all marble and steel, super trendy and
elegant.  The island is much bigger than two or three BBQ tables in the park.

“Sophia, let’s go upstairs to check your room.”  Nancy
smiles at me.

We walk up along the spiral stairs.   The solid wood floor
is shining.

“I’m allergic to carpet.”  She winks.  “But if you guys
like, we can always consider.”

She spreads her hands.  “See, these two rooms are for you
and Duncan.  Feel free to pick one.”

“Thanks.” I check both rooms but have a hard time deciding
which one.

Finally, I pick the one with windows facing a quiet
street.  “I like the view.”

“Me, too.  It’s beautiful.  In the fall, you can see
green, yellow, and red leaves in a single tree.” Nancy points at a tall tree
right at my window.

“Really?”

“That was one of the reasons I bought this house.”

“What a smart decision.”

“Thank you, Sophia.”

Then we tour the whole house.

I keep looking at the front door, hoping Duncan would show
up.  But I never see him.

Where is he?

We come back to the first floor and sit at the large oval
kitchen table.

“Let me make coffee.”  Nancy walks into the kitchen.

Soon, she comes back with a fresh pot of coffee and cookies.

“Enjoy.” She smiles.  “Dave, when do you think we should
move in?” She looks at Dad.

“After the wedding, maybe?” Dad smiles.

“How about we start early?  There are so many things to
do.  Ordering furniture alone will take a while.  Yeah, right.  Sophia, what
kind of furniture would you like for your room?”

I think for a short moment “I’d prefer to move everything
over from my room.”

“Sophia likes to keep her childhood memories.”  Dad
smiles.

“Please let me know if you need anything, okay?”

“Sure, I will.  Thanks so much.”

Stepping out of the house, I look at the empty street.
There is no Duncan.  Why isn’t he here?

I did want to ask Nancy but I was worried that may make
her unhappy.   Based on what I saw in the park, there is some tension between
them.

Is Duncan going to move in at all?

The sunset is casting long shadows of houses and trees
along the street.  What is Duncan doing at the moment?

Is he having fun with Liz, or some other girl, or girls?

Think about that is making me a bit jealous.

But only a tiny bit.

Honestly, we are still strangers to each other though he
kissed me once.  I know nothing about him.  We didn’t even have one single
personal conversation.

Yeah, tomorrow, all the girls in the school will know that
I’m Duncan’s soon-to-be stepsister.  They will be super jealous.

But I guess they will be super nice to me,
Sophia-this-and-that me, hoping I will introduce them to Duncan.

Poor girls, they won’t know the silly fact that I can’t
talk to Duncan myself.
