The next day Marion invited us over for dinner. West was a little hesitant because he didn’t know if his parents and his surprise brother would be there. He didn’t want to look at them let alone sit at table and have to talk to them.
I didn’t blame him one bit. I had just met his parents and already couldn’t stand them.
Standing on the porch, I held on to him.
“What if they’re in there?” he asked in a shaky voice.
“I’m with you, babe. If you feel like you can’t take anymore all you have to do is say the word and we’re gone. They’re not worth worrying about,” I told him, opening the front door, “Let’s try to enjoy this for you grandparents.”
He nodded and we stepped inside. Marion and Frank were sitting on the couch in the middle of what looked like a heated conversation.
“Is everything okay?” West asked, rushing to his grandma’s side.
“Fine, nothing for you to worry about. Maddie, would you mind helping me in the kitchen?” Marion asked, getting up to walk into the kitchen.
Whatever they were talking about wasn’t good. I could tell by Marion’s eyes that something was up.
“Not at all,” I told her, following her. I turned to look at West, “I’ll be in the kitchen if you need me.”
“I love you,” he said, pulling me in for a quick kiss.
“I love you,” I told him, pulling away.
Turning to walk to the kitchen, I heard Frank and West talking about me.
“I always knew she was the one,” Frank said, laughing, “You’ve never even told me or your grandmother you loved us.”
“I’m sorry, Old man. But you can’t compete with Maddie. I love her more than anything,” I could hear him saying as I made my way into the kitchen.
“What do you need me to do?” I asked Marion, slipping on a frilly apron.
“Do you think you can handle the cream puffs?”
“My middle name is cream puff,” I told her, gathering the ingredients.
Okay, that wasn’t true my name was Madeline Elizabeth Thomas.
Not Madeline Cream Puff Thomas but one was as bad as the other.
“That boy loves you, honey. But I’m sure how he’d feel about marrying a girl who’s middle name is cream puff,” she said, pulling bread from the oven.
“Whoa, slow down, sister. Who said anything about marriage?” I asked her, feeling like my heart was going to beat out of my chest.
“It’s gonna happen and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a lot sooner than you think.”
I wanted to reply to that but I didn’t have one. I hadn’t really given thought to marriage. And I didn’t know where West stood on that topic.
That yet another talk we needed to have.
Soon.
Mixing the pastry cream, I heard voices coming from the living room.
At first I shrugged it off, thinking it was just Frank and West. But then I heard a female’s voice.
West’s mom.
A million thoughts were running through my head. Should I give them space to talk it out? Or should I walk out there and give him a shoulder to lean on?
Taking off the apron, I excused myself.
He needed me and I was going to be there for him.
“Babe, is everything okay?” I asked, walking in to the living room.
“You again? Do you have anywhere else you could be?” his monster, I mean mother, said, folding her arms over her chest.
“We’ve been over this. Don’t talk to her like that,” West said, getting up and jumping in front of me as if he was protecting me from her, “Don’t even look at her the wrong way.”
“Are you threatening your mother?” his father asked with his arms wrapped around Andy’s shoulders.
“Oh, is that what we’re calling her now? Where was she when I needed a mother? That’s right she was gone with you doing only god knows what,” he said, looking his father dead in the eye.
His parents stood there with their mouths open in disbelief. What did they think was going to happen? Did they really expect him to welcome them back with open arms?
I hated to have to watch him go through this. And I hated having the feeling like I was standing on the sidelines. I didn’t know what to do to take away the pain and hurt of having his parents walk back into his life.
Lilly opened her mouth to speak but Marion interrupted.
Thank God! Because if she said one more rude thing I was going to put her in her place.
“Let’s eat!” Marion called from the dining room.
We all walked to the table in complete silence. Taking our seats, West scooted my chair closer to his.
“Thank you for being here, Angel,” he whispered in my ear.
“I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
I squeezed his hand in support. I had a feeling he was gonna need all the support he could get.
“Andy made it on the all A honor roll,” Lilly said, beaming with pride.
“Mom, please,” Andy said, his face turning red with embarrassment.
“That’s great,” Frank said, trying his best to pretend to be happy.
West looked down at his plate and stabbed his fork though the fried chicken.
“It’s already dead. You don’t have to kill it again,” I whispered, trying my best to make him laugh.
He give a halfhearted grin and that pulled at my heart strings.
“How were you in school? Judging by the tattoos, I’d say not so well,” his father said, stuffing his stupid face with chicken.
How dare he try to judge his son by the way he looks? How dare he judge his son at all? He didn’t know anything about him. And I didn’t think he deserved to know him.
His loss.
“Actually, he was very smart in school. Not that you were there to see it,” I told him before sipping on my sweet tea.
“Could you stay out of this for one second? It has absolutely nothing to do with you!” Lilly yelled at me from across the table.
What a bitch.
West was about to lose his cool but before he could say anything I jumped up from my chair.
“It has more to do with me than you! I know him, inside and out! I love him and that’s more than I can say for you.”
Looking at her face, I swear I saw steam coming from her ears.
You’re supposed to want to impress your boyfriend’s mother. But when you find out she’s basically Satan you don’t really care about impressing her.
“West, are you going to let her talk to me like that?” Lilly said, putting on an Oscar worthy performance.
“Shut up! Why should I care about you and your feelings? Huh? You never cared about mine!” he shouted, rubbing his hands down his face.
He looked like he wanted to cry. I wanted to cry too.
“Because I’m your mother!” she shouted, standing up and placing her hand on her hip.
His father stood up beside her, showing he had her back.
“Really? Could have fooled me. You were never my mother, she is,” he said, pointing to Marion.
He was right. Marion raised him and she made sure that his parents leaving never dulled his shine.
And boy, did he shine.
“Angel, are you ready to leave?” he asked, looking over at me.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
“Grandma, dinner was great,” he said, kissing her cheek, “Grandpa, I’ll call you later.”
After saying our goodbyes, we got in the West’s car and drove around town.
“Where do you want to go?” West asked, turning the music down.
He needed something to cheer him up and I knew just the place.
“How about Planet Adventure?” I asked, looking out of the window.
“I love you.”
Throwing my head back laughing, I leaned over and quickly kissed his cheek.
“Whoa, Woman! If you don’t quit making moves on me I won’t be able to focus on the road. Do you want that?”
“Maybe I want you focus on me instead,” I said, biting my lip.
“Cool it, Angel. Or I’ll pull you over here and screw you in front of everyone passing by.”
“I’ve got a better idea, just keep driving.”
What I had planned was going to make him lose his mind.
“Yes, Ma’am.”
Pulling into Planet Adventure, he hopped out and walked around to open my door.
“There’s literally four people here,” I said, looking around the parking lot.
That made me feel better about my plan. I knew I could definitely pull it off with that less of people around.
Walking through the door hand in hand, we headed straight for the laser tag.
He knew there was no way I wasn’t doing it first.
And I thought to myself that after he saw what I had planned, he would have been so happy.
Like real happy.
After we got our vest and guns, we walked through the doors. We were the only ones inside of the laser tag room.
We broke and went our separate ways.
Finally getting farther enough away from. I quickly removed my vest and pulled my dress over my head.
Slipping my vest back on, I posed sexily against the wall.
“Angel, come on out! I don’t bite….. Hard,” I heard him call and it sounded like his voice was getting close.
I felt giddy waiting on him to find me.
Looking straight ahead, I saw West standing looking at me with his mouth open.
“I want to pin you against that wall and make you scream my name,” he said, licking his lips.
That was what I wanted too.
“Well, what are you waiting for? Get over here and make me feel good, babe,” I told slipping my lacy underwear down my legs and tossing them on the pile of clothes.
“I’m the luckiest son of a bitch in the world,” he said, walking toward me and pulling off his vest.
I pulled mine off and let it hit the ground.
He picked me up with one hand and pushed me against the wall. I felt the blood pumping in my veins as his lips made their way from my neck to the top of my breast.
“We have to be quick, Babe. This place closes in twenty minutes,” I whispered, clenching my legs around his waist.
“I can do untold things to your body in twenty minutes and don’t forget that we have all night to finish what we started,” he said in between kisses.
I smiled because I loved when he spent the night with me. Sleep overs with West were the best.
For obvious reasons.
I watched him take his free hand and pull a condom out of his wallet. Putting the condom filled wrapper in his mouth, he undone his belt buckle and pulled his jeans down. And then his underwear followed.
West was always hard and ready for me. I never had to wait and that was good for me because he turned me on so much I don’t think I could have.
I felt my body tingle watching him slip the condom over his erection. I couldn’t wait to feel that piercing inside of me again.
After his hand was free he slipped in between my thighs and started rubbing back and forth.
“Angel, your soaking wet. Always so ready for me,” he said, smiling and taking my body in.
“You talk to damn much. I need to feel you inside of me,” I told him, begging for him to pound into me.
“You’re rude when you’re horny,” he said, moving his hand to my ass and giving it a smack.
I winced but not from the pain. But from the pleasure that came with the pain.
Feeling the cold sensation from his piercing touch my clit, I sucked in a hot breath.
“That piercing really does it for ya, huh?” he asked, pushing in and out of me.
“Like you couldn’t imagine.”
He entered by pushing in roughly and began pounding in me.
Deep.
The faster he went the quicker my body started to quiver.
Digging my nails inside of his shoulder, I heard him let out a growl.
Grinding into me, his breathing started to get heavier. And just as I felt pleasure pulsating inside of me I had to bite down on his shoulder to keep from screaming.
“Shit, Maddie. That felt so good,” he said as both of our bodies started to tremble together.
I think that was the first time we ever finished together.
And I loved it.
I watched him pull off the used condom and throw it in the nearest trash can.
“I needed that, Angel. Thank you for that,” he said, pulling his pants up and helping me get dressed.
“I love you, Babe,” I told him, giving him a small peck on his lips, “And I’m sorry for biting you.”
He started laughing and rubbed his shoulder where I bit him.
“I love you, Angel. And I like you biting me, I think you should do it more often,” he said, winking and grabbing my hand, “Don’t apologize for that ever.”
Walking out of the door, we put our vest and guns in their places.
“Have a goodnight!” someone yelled as we walked to the parking lot.
