Chapter 7

Tristan

After two days of taking care of my dream girl, Nikki, Carrie, her friend, came to take her home. I'd already started missing her at my house. Taking care of a girl was new for me, but I liked it because it was her. Her name circled like a melody in my mind.

While she was resting in my bed for two days, I took care of her car so they could drive back in Nikki’s Ranger. It was surprising that a beauty like Nikki was using such a manly car.

I waved them goodbye and walked in.

Damn you, Nikki Jordan, I'm already missing you.
I could still smell her fragrance in my living room.
You are now driving me crazy, baby. I wish I could keep you in my arms and do the things I want to do with you all day and all night.

But I had lots of things to take care. First, I had to visit two bookstores and settle the payment for Trisha and Sam.
This is sucking my time and I need to hire someone to look after the existing four stores.
Before meeting Nikki, I had nothing other than looking after my stores and drink during my evenings alone. But I was feeling a lot busier after meeting Nikki. Most of my day was occupied by her and that made me lose my focus on the stores. Fortunately, I knew all the students working in the stores personally and I could trust them, in fact, the trust had been built in the last year with lots of hiccups. But finally, I could really trust those folks, especially Trisha. She was a sweet girl.
I should ask her about her mom.
I quickly shaved, took a shower and changed into a pair of comfortable black jeans and a hoodie. My hand had healed pretty quickly; that meant I could just start training again … and with Nikki.

I felt goose bumps as I thought about training with her. I could feel her hands all over my bare body, the way she triggered the points on my body and the way she played with me.
Damn, you are making me hotter, babe.
Thoughts of her brought sexiness to my mind; she was sexy, bold and like a wild cat I’d never met before in my life.

I was very happy to have found her, but I didn’t understand the relationship between us. Slowly, I started liking her more and more, I never said that to her, but I wasn't sure if she understood my feelings. I wanted to know her more, understand her, find the things she was made up of, play with her in her childhood memories and, more importantly, search for a path for us. But whenever I tried to get close to her, she backed off, like an invisible rope pulled her away from me.

But the attitude she’d shown wasn’t the only truth. I could feel her touch, her empathy, her care for me in her eyes and touch. I could see her struggling over the feelings for one moment, but the next moment she was a mean bitch. I hated to think this, but sometimes I just hated her for her attitude. I wish I could penetrate through the walls of her mind and find the real cause of the attitude, her reluctance. But sadly, I’d failed in that department; she remained a big mystery to me.

One thing was sure, it wasn’t just a trainer-student relationship. It was more than that. And hell, yes, I was willing to see it moving forward. I really liked her. The only issue was whether she liked me or not.

Nikki was still in my thoughts when I parked my car outside of the bookstore and entered it.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the touch of Trisha.

“Good morning, Tristan.” She hugged me tightly.

“Good morning.” Reality sunk in. I was in an awkward position. Trisha wasn't even a good enough friend to hug me every time I saw her. I had never hugged since from the day I met her. That was awkward. I put her at arm's length. “You seem okay, now.”

It must be the efforts I took for her. Nothing wrong in a hug.
I cleared my thoughts and looked at her.
What is this, now?
I didn't care what wore anywhere else, but at my book store, there were some limits. At least I thought so, and hence I chose the people I hired as open and friendly, but not so much that they would bother the next person. Trisha was wearing a very small skirt, which barely touched her thighs. Even the neck of her top was very broad; I could see her large breasts. They were large, considering her age, and her nipples were tight.
Come on, Tristan, get a hold of yourself.
I had to warn myself to look away from her extra-large breasts. I'd never, ever looked at her that way.

I didn’t care for what she wore, but that was a bit too much for the used book store. That was inappropriate clothing, to my mind.

“Trisha, are you sure that your dress is okay for work?” I sounded lame,
Damn who was I to say things like that, I thought of her as my sister, but she wasn’t my real sister to put any restrictions on her.
“I mean, what the customers might think...” An awkward pause occupied the silence between us.

Her face changed colors.

“I don’t care what you wear, just...” I couldn’t explain to her what I wanted to say.

She bit her lower lip. “Oh...I’m sorry, Mr. Scott. I should have worn something appropriate. But I chose this one for you.”

“For me...” My voice stuck in my throat. I didn't think that our conversation would go this way.

“For you. I thought you might like this.”

“And why should I?”

“Don’t I look pretty in this?” Her voice lowered.

“Nothing like that. You look pretty in any dress, just…”I took a long pause. "It's not too good for the workplace. You know we get kids, their parents and even old people coming here. " Hell, I was flustered and didn’t know how to handle the situation. Any other time, I would have talked more about how the girl looked and taken her for a  ride, but she was Trisha, and I wasn’t looking for a date. Nikki had already taken a special place in my life. And I thought of Trisha like a sister of mine. I remembered what Nikki had said about Trisha other night.
Please, Nikki, don’t be right in this situation.

She looked down.“I…sorry, Tristan. I understand your concern. I'll wear something decent next time."

It was a relief; she understood what I thought. I ruffled her hair. "That's the Trisha I know…"

Her face lightened up. Her lips turned into a sweet smile."You know what? I bought some food for us." She ran inside and brought a snack with her. "I knew, my intuition told me that you would be coming in today so I made some sandwiches for you.”

Oh, God, what I have gotten myself into this time?
I looked up as she opened the container and served two sandwiches to me on a paper plate. It wasn’t really a place to have lunch, but there I was, eating sandwiches with my assistant and she was wearing a super sexy dress.

“Hello, Mr. Scott. Mind if I disturb you?” Nikki’s sexy voice emerged from the bookstore door.

Trisha’s expression changed quickly as she looked at the door. Her eyebrows clamped together. “What is she doing here?” Trisha whispered angrily.

“Trisha...” My voice raised, I didn’t like the way she’d asked the question.

“I thought I would have the honor to take you to lunch.” Nikki touched my shoulder as she entered the desk area, bent down and kissed me on my cheek. “I owe you one after taking such good care of me for the last two days,” she said, in such a seductive voice that my cock jumped in my pants.

“Are you feeling okay enough to drive alone, babe?” I asked.

“I’m fine, don’t worry about me. I’ll take you out now.” Nikki wrapped her arm around my neck and licked my earlobe.

“Let’s go,” I replied;, lunch with her was a very good idea.

“But Tristan, the sandwiches...” Trisha said quietly.

“And you, little girl, don’t you think the dress you’re wearing is a bit exposing for your age?” Nikki poked Trisha.

“What are you, my mom?” Trisha poked back.

“Tristan, let’s go. I’ll wait for you in car.” Nikki swept out of the store quickly.

Trisha snatched the sandwich from my hand and threw it into the trash can. I watched them both in surprise.

“Thanks, Trisha. For the sandwich,” I took out her salary from my pocket and gave it to her. “Let me know if you need more.”

“Hmm.” She looked depressed, but if it was about me and Nikki, then I couldn’t help her. Nikki was my priority.

“Bye.” I walked away from her.

“What was that about?” I asked Nikki as I hopped in her car.

“Did you finish that little bitch’s lunch? Shall we go out now?” Her face was twisted in anger. She was jealous and her face was glowing with anger, but she looked more sexy to me.

“Are you jealous of her”

“Jealous? Does she even stand a chance ahead of me?”

“That means you compare her with you.” I chuckled.

“Nothing like that.” She pushed the gas hard. I kept laughing.

“So, where are we going?” I controlled my smile, somehow; I was liking the way she was behaving when Trisha was around.

“Atlanta Hotel, my treat.”

“Occasion?”

“Do you really need an occasion? If you can eat from that girl’s hands, then you don’t need a occasion.” She frowned.

I remained quiet; it was best thing to do.

She parked her car smoothly in the Atlanta Hotel’s entry. As I'd seen, she was an excellent driver.

It was one of the best, if not best, hotels in New York City. Even getting a coffee here would cost a fortune for a middle class person. Not that I couldn’t afford it once in a while, but still, it was a bit out of my reach; at least, I’d thought so.

A valet in a white suit came to take our car when we entered the hotel lobby.

“If you’d told me, I would have dressed more appropriately.” I looked at myself, I was in just a jeans and a hood.

“Geez, nobody is going to bite you for wearing this.” She looked me up and down. “Only I could bite you here and now. You look smoking hot in those clothes.”

“Have you booked a room already?” I chuckled.

“Jerk.” She turned her head away and walked quickly into the hotel. The moment she was in front of the hotel door, a doorman opened the door while bowing slightly.

“It’s so authentic,” I said in amazement as I entered the hotel lobby. The roof was illuminated by the white lights, but the LED’s were hidden so perfectly that no one could see them poking out of the roof. Four square pillars at the four corners of the room were surrounded by couches and various small tables with chairs placed in the remaining open space. I felt like I was coming to a conference. “And looks like a business hotel.”

A receptionist came forward, “Good afternoon, sir. Which room would you like to choose for your lunch? We have Titanium, Platinum and Gold.”

“We will go for Titanium,” Nikki replied, in a heartbeat.

“Are you sure?” I whispered in her ear. I’d been to hotels like this, but this one was different and I felt cold and awkward for the first time.

“Don’t sweat it, Scott. Follow me.” She walked with confidence and a little attitude. Like she was used to eating lunch here daily.

The Titanium lounge was a beauty in itself; the room was bigger than two tennis courts placed together. At the middle of the room, a huge piano was placed and a young, beautiful lady was playing some melodic tune. Only four medium-sized large tables were present in the room and that, too, at the corners so no one could see other patrons or hear what others were talking about. Two small tables were placed around the piano, so the person sitting there could enjoy the music better.

We grabbed one of the small tables; A waiter who was dressed better than II was came to serve us.

“Hello, ma’am, sir. May I take your order, please?” He bowed with proficiency.

Damn.
“Nikki, you should have chosen a different hotel or told me earlier. Even the waiter is in better clothes than mine.”

“It’s just your perspective, Tristan,” She sighed and looked at the menu. “You are richer than you let on and better than any of the people present here. So, be your true self and enjoy lunch. What would you like to eat? I suggest you try some Italian, it’s good.”

“Why don’t you order for both of us, then?”

“Sure.” She looked at waiter with confident blue eyes.“
Trenette with pesto
for two and two glasses of wine.” Her cute, blue eyes didn’t even flickered while talking with the waiter. Her chin was high and her cheekbones were pinkish red, like red wine, and I wanted to taste her right there.

Once done, she turned back to me. “If you don’t mind, can we do some shopping after this? I want to buy some sportswear.”

I shrugged my shoulders. “I don’t mind if I get to watch you in the changing room.”

“What?” She let the gasp slip away.

“Yes, that’s my condition.” I winked at her.

Her cheeks turned more reddish. ”I’ll think about it.”

“I can take cab back home, then.”

“No need. I’ll drop you back home,” she said.

I smiled mischievously at her. The idea of being with her in the changing room took my breath away.

***

One hour later, I was roaming outside of the changing room in a huge clothes mall. I tried to get Nikki to let me inside the room, but she refused again and again, while turning more reddish with each request.
