I don’t think I’ve ever been so turned on in all my life. My dick is as hard as steel but I’m not going to take her—not here, not now. She deserves better, something special and planned out.

After ripping her panties, I toss them over my shoulder and reach between her legs. Finding her clit I rub pressured circles and I can tell she’s close. Pushing two fingers inside her, I instantly feel her squeezing me like a vice grip.

I’ve heard about people being so turned on that they come in their pants, but I’ve never known anyone that has happened to until this moment. I’m so close to losing it in my boxers and I’ve barely touched her. We need to stop as soon as she comes because if not, I’m not liable for what might happen afterwards.

I thrust my fingers in and out, and it doesn’t take long before she cries out my name.

Holy shit! That is the hottest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Ever.

I pull out my fingers and hold her tight as she rides out the remainder of her orgasm. Nesting her head in the crook of my neck, she pants heavily. When she comes down from her high, I set her on the dock, pull myself out of the water and sit next to her.

“Are you okay, Angel?” I whisper into her ear, before moving to place kisses down her neck and onto her shoulder.

“I’m more than okay. That was… was…”

“Amazing,” I finish for her, and she nods and lies on her back with her hand resting under her head.

I stare at her naked form and watch as the beads of water start to evaporate.

Just when I think she’s about to pass out, she sits up and reaches for my dick. I nearly jump from the spot I’m in when her small hands touch me.

“Phoebe, I’ll take care of it later.” I try to stop her but she grips me harder.

She blinks a few times to adjust her eyes to the bright sun and pulls her knees up beneath her. She puts her hands on my chest and forces me to lie down.

“Why take care of it later when I can take care of it now?” she asks, and tugs at the hem of my boxers, sliding them down with ease.

Oh fuck, oh fuck, I’m going to die. This is too much to handle.

She looks up at me through her blonde lashes. Her eyes draw me in just like every time, only this time it’s different. This look should be reserved for me—and me only.

I lay my head back and close my eyes. The sun beats down on my damp chest. I shiver when her tongue darts out and she places light licks along my shaft.

“Phoebe, I’m going to come any second,” I warn.

She giggles and the vibration makes my balls tighten.

Yep, I’m a fucking goner!

She places her lips around my cock and leans forward. As she takes in inch after inch it’s not long before my dick hits the back of her throat. I feel her swallow and lose it. I try to push her head back so I don’t choke her but she doesn’t budge. A second later, I’m in my own utopia. Nothing—and I mean
nothing
—has ever felt this amazing.

She sucks me dry before lifting her head and wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.

When I catch my breath I sit up, wrap her in my arms and kiss her forehead. I’m not letting this woman get away anytime soon.

“Darlin’ we have to get back before we miss dinner and my parents freak out, but I don’t want to let you go.” I loosen my grip but she doesn’t move.

“You’re right, we should probably get back.” She sighs and sits back on her heels, allowing me room to move.

There’s an awkward silence as we dress. I take her hand as we walk back to her car and I open the driver’s door for her. What do I say? Thank you? Your mouth is amazing?

She turns down the radio. “You know, this doesn’t change anything, right?”

“Yeah, sure.” I play it cool. I want everything to change but I know that won’t happen.

As soon as she puts the car in park, I hop out and head straight for the stable. I need to talk to Bo before we eat.

I can’t believe what I just did. I don’t know what’s come over me lately, but I’m definitely not acting like myself. Maybe it’s the Tennessee air that has me all flustered and not thinking straight. I try to avoid eye contact while we dress. On the short drive home, I don’t say a word, but what am I supposed to say? ‘Damn, Dean, you taste delicious?’

When I pull into the driveway Emily and Keith are waiting for us on the back patio. The table is covered with food and foil tents covering the plates to keep the food warm. I have to make it into the house without them noticing that I’m not wearing a bra.

I step out of my truck and smile, acknowledging them and acting as if nothing is wrong. I fold my arms over my chest and rush into the house. Once upstairs, I run a brush through my tangled hair and slip into a bra. I’m just pulling my shirt back over my head when I hear a faint knock at the door.

“Come in,” I call out.

Emily steps in with a grim look on her face. “Is everything all right, Phoebe?”

I give her a reassuring smile. “Of course it is, Em.”

She’s not buying it but lets me walk past her before following me downstairs. I step outside into the heat and fan myself with my hand. “It’s so hot out here.” I pause and wait for her to walk with me to the back patio.

“It sure is, sweet girl. As soon as you’re all better, you should go to the small lake in the back of the property. It’s nothing special but it’s a great way to cool down.”

I freeze when she mentions the lake. Shit! I can’t let her notice. The woman can read me like a book. “That sounds nice.” I avoid eye contact and look over my shoulder to see Dean returning from the stable. He’s switched out his infamous ball cap for a brown cowboy hat, and he looks so damn hot. I lick my dry lips and watch him walk across the lawn with his gaze focused on me. I give him a quick smile and turn my attention back to Emily and Keith as he takes the seat across from me.

After dinner, the four of us sit back and relax. Emily always seems to cook enough food to feed an army. Dean and I try to act as normal as possible, it kind of hard, especially after what happened just a couple of hours ago but Keith and Emily don’t suspect a thing.

Little do they know.

I vow that today I will get things back on track, and not let anything get in the way of work. I’m spreading feed around for the chickens when my dad walks up.

“Hey, son,” he pats my shoulder. “They’ve totaled the old pick up so it looks like you get yourself a new truck… well, new to you.”

“Great.” I say flatly.

“What’s going on with you lately, boy? Ever since we brought Phoebe home, you’ve been acting strange. Going out and getting drunk, hanging out with dem boys, and you been actin’ weird around Phoebe.” He leans against the wooden post and crosses his arms over his chest.

I toss the last bit of feed onto the ground and watch the chicken’s race towards it and peck at the dirt. “Nothing’s going on. Since the accident I’ve just been thrown off a little. Things will get back to normal, starting today. No more distractions.” I promise.

“That’s good to hear. I need you focused if you want to show me that you’re capable of taking over the farm.” He pats my back with a satisfied smile and walks away without another word.

I immediately find Bo, and have a heart to heart. Having Bo around is all the therapy I need.

I lean my hip against the stall and stroke his mane. “Hey, buddy, I need some advice. I don’t know what to do about Barbie. I want her so fucking bad but I know that I can’t have her. I’m not what she needs, or deserves.”

I let it all out, everything that’s happened in the past few days. When I’m finished, Bo nods his head as if he knows what I’m saying and then, an idea strikes me and I know exactly what I need to do.

The rest of the day I work as normal. It’s nearly eleven when I step into the quiet house and I send a quick text to Devon.

Me: Need to talk.

She quickly responds.

Devon: When and where?

Me: Monday. My place.

I keep it short and sweet. When she agrees, I set my phone down, close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

Today Emily and I go and pick out furniture. It isn’t a hard task considering there is only one furniture shop in the area. Most of the things are what you would find in a typical country home—lots of weathered furniture, with red and white accents.

I settle on a set that is similar to the one in my mom’s apartment. I choose a black leather sofa and love seat for the spare room, and I get my mom a king-size mattress with a simple bed frame. I schedule the delivery for a week from today to ensure that I will have the keys, be getting settled and boxes will be cleared
before
the new furniture arrives.

I haven’t seen Dean all day and that’s probably best. Emily said he’s been working to catch up on work since everything that has happened over the last week has thrown him off schedule.

When we get back to the house, I call to get insurance prices for my new car, deciding to combine it with home owners insurance to get a discount. This is something I’ve never had to worry about so you can imagine my face when they quoted me the price over the phone.

Shit! Being an adult sucks!

At dinner, I tell Keith all about the new furniture and even draw up a layout of the condo and place the furniture accordingly. He seems thrilled for me and tells me how proud he is. I feel a slight tug on my heart when he says that.

I have two days left until I get my stitches out and they have to x-ray my wrist to see if it’s healing. When I was in the hospital a week ago and made the decision to go home with the Montgomery’s, I never thought they would grow on me the way they have. If it weren’t for Dean being here all of the time, I would probably opt to stay with them. The tension is too strong between us and at the rate things have been going thus far, we wouldn’t be able to keep our hands off of each other. Things have already been messed up since I arrived, I need to focus on getting my head back in the game and get back to work. Dean would be too much of a distraction if I stayed here.
