“So you’re the
captain now…” Bella was almost breathless. “…and what of me?”

‘Captain’s are in
need of cabin boys all the time.”

“So my ruse
continues…” She smiled warily.

“Aye, with none the
wiser.” He kissed her on the cheek.

“And Bran…” She
suddenly realized. “Oh, good heavens, I’d forgotten all about him.”

“If he be alive, we
will need a new Master Steward.” Hinds took a deep breath.

“Then Gillard too
is dead?”

“Aye, even before
the captain.”

“And Bran…” Bella
ventured fearfully.

“Methinks he is sound,
I did see him fight rather well,” The new captain said with some conviction. “…before
I came upon Brushbeard and you.”

“I pray he is.” She
exhaled loudly.

“You do that… for
all of us onboard.”

“And what of our
journey?” She remembered she had a destination to sail to.

“We will sail for
Port Cartage, replenish supplies and recruit able-bodied men to replace the
ones we lost.”

“And what of me…
and my destination.” Bella eyed the man cautiously.

“We will arrive
there, eventually…” He hugged her closer. “…and there are duties for a
captain’s cabin boy to meet.”

“What kind of
duties?” She picked up the gleam in his eye.

“I can think of one
right now.” He gave her a knowing smile, guiding her hand down to his renewed
arousal.

“I think I’m going
to like my new role as the captain’s cabin boy.” She replied, sliding down his
muscular body and grasping the base of his rigid cock. She licked her lips, a
sudden urge to take the throbbing organ into her mouth overcoming her.

“Enough talk, to
work.” She heard him growl, the intoxicating scent of his arousal filling her
nostrils as she opened her mouth wide over the red hot organ pulsing in her
slender hands.

~THE END~

Good N’
Plowed

“Oh, Melanie, you’re so beautiful.”
He moaned, his hand gently caressing her soft face as he kissed her.

She smiled up at him and closed her
eyes, resting her head on the comfortable pillow. He didn’t feel her return his
kiss, she just lay there with her mouth open. He released her tongue and kissed
her lips, then worked his way down her chin and neck. The soft round mounds of
her breasts looked so inviting with the honey brown nipples standing right up
at him. He took one in his mouth, nibbling it slowly. Her gasp wasn’t as sharp
as he remembered. He swirled his tongue around the sensitive areola - that
always made her giggle. She hardly made a sound. His searching hand slid down
to the moist opening between her legs, slipping a finger in. Her dispassionate
groan annoyed him.

“Melanie.” He sighed, pushing
himself off her. “Is something bothering you?”

“No, Dave… I’m fine.” She replied
flatly.

“Really?” He stared at her. ‘We’ve
been married four years now, and I can pretty much tell when you’re upset.”

“Well, okay.” She looked into his
gray eyes. “I’m not really upset… just worried… about the future.”

“Is that why you’ve been like this
for the past few weeks whenever we make love?” He sat up and stared out of the
window.

“No, baby.” She sighed, drawing the
covers over her naked hips and breasts. “I mean… well, kind of.”

“But what are you worried about?”
He asked with a hint of frustration. “I’m doing great at work, and our online
blog’s getting enough hits to generate ad revenues.”

“I know, Dave.” She caressed his
arm slowly, her eyes drifting off him. “But lately I’ve been having these
strange thoughts…”

“What kind of thoughts?”

“I don’t know… I’ve been having
these strange urges…” She took a deep breath. “I can’t really explain it… even
to myself.”

“We could go to a shrink.” He
offered, eyeing her with care.

“Oh, hell, no.” She laughed, making
him feel a bit better. “We’re not paying some stranger money to tell me what’s
wrong with my mind…”

“What about going on a vacation…”
He leaned over her and caressed her honey brown hair. “…to Hawaii or Europe?”

“Sure, honey.” She pulled the
sheets up to her chin. “We can think about it later. Let’s get some sleep now,
I’m tired.”

David Jordan nodded silently with a
tight smile. This was the fourth time in the past two weeks, not that he was
counting, that their lovemaking fizzled out leaving him high and dry and her
falling off to sleep. He let her sleep and climbed out of bed, his mind clouded.
Something was wrong and he couldn’t quite figure it out. Yet.

“Maybe she needs a change of
scenery.” He told himself. “That vacation could be the answer to this problem.”

***

“Is there a problem, Dave?”

“No, Mackie.” Jordan grinned,
looking up at his colleague. “I’m fine.”

“Well, that’s the fifth sugar cube
you’ve dropped into your coffee without looking.” The red haired freckled faced
young man in the electric blue suit smiled. “And I’d say that you are anything
but fine, knowing you for the last seventeen years.”

“Yeah, Mack.” Jordan sighed. “You
were always the perceptive one.”

“Ouch!” The other grinned. “Let me
guess now… trouble with the missus.”

“You nailed it, buddy.”  Jordan
jabbed a fist in the air for emphasis.

“Whoa, Hammer-time.”  The shorter
man jumped off his chair and whooped. “The Mack can score.”

Dave sipped his coffee in silence,
staring out of the cafeteria window. Mack had always been the livelier of his
friends. Chums since grade school, they rarely didn’t know things about each
other. But this time he felt Mack wouldn’t be the one who he could turn to.

“But seriously, Dave.” The redhead
sat back down. “How bad is it?”

“It’s nothing.” He exhaled loudly.

“Hey, you’re talking to the Mack
here.” His friend puffed his narrow chest.  “And the way you’ve been all
pensive lately… I’d hazard you and your lady ain’t getting along… under the
sheets.”

“None of your damn business,
carrot-top.” Jordan gave him a dark look.

“Heck, it is my business, soot
head.” Edmonton ‘Mack’ Macgregor placed his slender arms across his chest and
leaned back on the chair. “I can’t have my wingman fired on account of lame
domestic problems.”

“I’m not your wingman.”

“Well, okay.” Macgregor conceded
with a shrug. “But you’re a colleague and a friend, and if you let me, I can
help you.”

“I don’t see how, but yeah, Mel’s
been off lately.” Dave admitted, staring at his shoes.

“Off?” The redhead raised a bushy
eyebrow. “You mean she’s not interested in sex per se… or just in sex with
you?”

“Hm, not that sure but…” Dave
looked thoughtful. “Well, yeah, she’s been unresponsive in bed lately.”

“And that was sudden or did it
gradually happen?” Macgregor leaned forward and took a sip of his coffee.

“I wasn’t really keeping a diary…
but I think it was pretty sudden, from about three weeks ago.”

“There’s your answer… she’s having
an affair.” The shorter man waved his hands as if he had solved a great
mystery.

“What the fuck are you on about?”
Jordan narrowed his eyes in annoyance.

“She’s not interested in sex with
you probably because she’s getting better elsewhere.” Macgregor concluded with
a self-righteous smile.

“Mack, if you weren’t a friend for
so long, I’d break your smug face for that.”

“Think, Dave, think.” The redhead
stared at Jordan earnestly. “Think rationally, observe everything, leave
emotion out and calculate it all.”

“You’re fucking crazy.” Jordan
gritted his teeth, but a cold chill ran down his spine.

“Yeah, that’s why I am not
married.” Macgregor smiled with an air of importance. “I love the crazy single
lifestyle and get to fuck whoever I want, with no strings on me.”

“The best you can offer here is
that my Melanie is fucking around.” Jordan shook his head, but the perverse
possibility of what Macgregor said seemed more and more likely. “Some help you
turned out to be.”

“Well, you can take it or leave
it.” The other man said standoffishly. “But you better get your act together
here… our sales target is on par but that won’t cut it. We’re looking at a
fifteen percent over par turnover this quarter.”

“Is Baumgartner hounding you about
the profit margin already?” Jordan looked at his friend with a sour expression.
“We’ve barely started this quarter.”

“No, he isn’t.” Macgregor shook his
head, making his wavy hair bounce. “But I like to stay ahead of the curve and
with you all mind-fucked like this… I don’t know, Dave… you need to pull up
your socks, be a man and duke it out on her.”

“What are you saying?” He pressed
his palms down on the table top, leaning in close. “I can’t accost Melanie
without any proof… she might not be doing anything like what you’re assuming.
And you’re not even married to know how it is.”

“Maybe that’s why I can see the
bigger picture… from the outside.” Macgregor replied sagely. “You’re too
pre-occupied with the bits and pieces inside to know what the whole thing looks
like.”

“Damn, the worst part of this is
that you’re beginning to make sense.” Jordan sat up straight and slapped his
forehead.

“I’ll take it as a compliment.” His
friend grinned, reaching for his coffee cup. “Now lay it on me… the details.
Did you have sex last night or try to have sex… and how’d it go?”

“It went well.” Jordan lied, and
then covered his face in his palms, “Fuck, I’m kidding myself… no, she might as
well have been an inflated sex doll last night and the few other times we tried
last week.”

“That bad, huh.” Macgregor
suppressed a smile, taking a sip of his coffee. “It’s definitely an affair.”

“All right, Master Yoda.” Jordan
sighed, holding up his coffee cup. “Assuming you’re right – what the hell am I
supposed to do now?”

“Some action - you’ve got to get -
of your own, young padawan.” The red headed sales manager held out his arms
wide. “Fish in the seas - loads of - there are.”

“You mean…” His gray eyes went wide
in disbelief.

“Yeah, Dave, find someone to even
the score with.” Macgregor inspected his nails with disinterest.

“You’re kidding.” Jordan looked
shocked. “I’m not going to cheat on my wife.”

“Well, she’s probably already
playing the field there.” He shrugged and looked at his limited edition Rolex
wristwatch.

“Fuck you, Mack.” Jordan leaned
back and stared at the coffee cup. “We’re just taking that as a possibility.”

“Yeah, a very likely one.”
Macgregor eyed his friend with amusement. “What is she – about twenty five…?”

“Twenty four.”

“And she’s one hot looking woman.”
The redhead grinned widely.

“She sure is.” Jordan nodded with a
sense of pride.

“All right, and
she’s
lost
interest in sex?” Macgregor made an expression of incredulity. “…no way, Davey
boy, she’s lost interest in you more likely.”

“I was thinking more of trying new
ways to win back her interest…” Jordan said thoughtfully. “…or work out her
problems.”

“Sure, be the mule and do all the
hard work.” Macgregor almost sneered. “While she has a great time at your
expense.”

“Damn it, Mack, you don’t even know
her.”  He waved a clenched fist at the redhead.

“From where I’m sitting, it looks
like you don’t either.” The other chuckled softly.

“That’s what I need to do… talk to
her, find out what’s wrong.” Jordan nodded, looking away.

“Sure, do that.” Macgregor laughed
loudly. “And don’t forget to put your dick back on after your little flowery
tete-a-tete.”

“Hell, talking through a problem
won’t make me any less a man.” Jordan cried defensively.

“If that’s what you want to
believe.” His friend shrugged and rolled his eyes.

“Mack, you’re fucking crazy.”
Jordan shook his head in dismay.

“Guilty as charged.” Macgregor
raised his near-empty coffee cup and bowed his head.  “But just suppose I’m right
and she’s banging some guy…”

“Shut up, Mack.”

“No, no, just hear me out…”
Macgregor held out his hands defensively. “Suppose she’s doing it and you get
to know, but you don’t want to ruin your marriage… best bet here is to have a
tour of your own.”

“I already said I’m not too keen
about cheating on Mel.” Jordan gritted his teeth hard.

“Just suppose, I’m saying, Dave,
just suppose.” Macgregor held up his hands.  “Just suppose… you have the
freedom to do what she’s doing. Who’d you like to go after first?”

“No one, Mack.” The taller man
slumped back on his chair and ran his hand through his thick dark hair. “I… I’m
not ready for this.”

“Really?” Macgregor grinned,
bobbing his head.  “Well, I’ve got someone in mind.”

“Who?” He looked up irritated.

“Diana Pierce.”

“Ha-hah-hah…” Jordan threw back his
head.

“Yeah, I have seen the way you look
at her…” The redhead smiled back and held out his pinky. “I bet little Dave
would kill for her affections.”

“Oh, fuck yourself, Mack.” Jordan
wiped his eyes, still laughing. “You’ve gone over the deep end.”

“Why not, Davey boy?” Macgregor
pressed on. “She’s been here over two years and there hasn’t been a day you’ve
not lusted for her.”

“Everyone lusts for Diana Pierce,
Mackie…” Jordan sighed, staring into the coffee cup and swirling the last few
drops around. “…even you.”

“Yeah, she’s a regular Amazon
goddess.” The redhead licked his thin lips. “And we are but mortal men.”

“She’s off limits, idiot.” Jordan
laughed again. “She’s got eyes for Saul Montello alone.”

“Sure, why not. He owns the company
and half of the city.” Macgregor shrugged indifferently. “But if you can have a
shot, Dave, wouldn’t you take it?”

“I’m married…” He replied dryly.

“And your lovely wife’s sleeping
around.”  Macgregor responded just as dryly.

“That’s just an assumption.” Jordan
glared at his old friend. “Innocent until proven…”

“Then you shouldn’t have a problem
and we should be the top team this quarter again.”

“Well, I… er… yeah.” He looked away
in uncertainty.

“Dave, you’re a mess… and you’re
going to take us down with you.”

“What the fuck am I going to do…
and don’t tell me sleeping with another woman will solve anything, Mackie.”

“Always works for me.” Macgregor
puffed his chest out. “But you’re such a sensitive little angel… so why don’t
you find out for sure. Keep tabs on her, follow her around, and listen in to
her calls…”

“Damn, that’s worse than cheating
on her.” Jordan shook his head, ready to give up.

“If you can’t do it, hire someone…
a private dick or something.” Macgregor offered generously.

“Where am I going to find a
snoop…?”

“I know this guy.” The redhead said
importantly.

“Why am I not surprised?” Jordan
said with a sneer.

“Cause I am the great Edmonton
‘Mack’ Macgregor.” The smaller man announced to the world. “I’ll tweet you his
number later.”

“No, scribble it on a piece of
paper…” Jordan leaned in close and whispered. “…let’s do this old school.”

“Oh, yeah… all cloak and dagger.”
He raised an eyebrow and looked around surreptitiously.
