anyway?” she asked. He lowered his eyes and then looked back at

her.

“You’re drunk. You don’t know what you’re saying. Come on,

let’s go to bed.” He pulled her arm and she took a step forward.

“No. I want to know. How much did you pay for me?” she

asked again. He turned his back to her, then slowly faced her.

“You really want to know? Because once I tell you, you can’t

un-know it, Norah.”
“You really want to continue in this relationship knowing how

much I spent on you?” She crossed her arms against her chest.

“Yes.” He ran his hands through his hair and over his face.

“I thought we were trying to move past this and have

something normal? You think you can know how much I paid for you

and still have a normal relationship with me?”

“Yes.”

“Fine. 1.5 million dollars. Come on, let’s go to bed.” Norah

grabbed her stomach and swayed back and forth.

“I think I’m going to be sick,” she said and she sat on the

floor. He knelt in front of her.

“See this is why I didn’t want you to know.”

“That is a lot of money, Liam. How can I ever live up to that?”

she asked. “Why would you spend that much on someone you didn’t

even know?” He touched her face.
“I didn’t even know what the bid was after the first few times

I hit the button. I just knew I had to have you. I told you, you looked

sad, and I had this overwhelming feeling to have you with me. It

didn’t matter how much it cost me.”

“You didn’t even know what the bid was? So you would have

spent more?”

“Yes, without question.”

“How high would you have gone?”

“As high as I needed to go. I am a billionaire, Norah, money

isn’t a problem for me. Can we go to bed now? Please?”

“Good Lord, Liam.” He picked her up from the floor.

“It doesn’t matter how much money I spent on you, or how

much I would have spent. You’re with me now, you don’t owe me

anything. After my treatment of you in the first month, I think we are

even. I don’t want to discuss it again.” He took her hand and walked

to the bedroom.
They crawled in the bed together and Liam wrapped his arms

around Norah. “I know we have a lot more to talk about, but we can

talk in the morning. I just want to hold you now, please.” He pressed

his head to her forehead. They laid quietly in each other’s arms both

heavy with thoughts.

Chapter twenty one

Norah

I had no idea when I asked how much he spent on me that it

was that much. I knew he was rich and it was a high end auction with

high rollers, but I had no idea they were that high. I didn’t think it

would matter to me but it did. He saved me from a life of sexual

slavery by spending 1.5 million dollars for me. He didn’t even know

me. He whipped out his credit card and bought someone he wanted

to make smile. What if I had been smiling already? I wonder if he

would have bid at all. Now this same man who spent all this money

was in love with me and offering marriage. He wants to share his life

with me. His life in England. Of course I would move to be with him. I

loved him, and after the amount of money he spent on me, there

was no way I could tell him I didn’t want to leave my family again.
He grip tightened around my waist and I felt his hands move

my legs up to my chest. I was laying on my side, so this put me in an

L position. He ran his hand over my behind and pulled at my panties.

“Norah? Are you awake?” he whispered in the dark. I moved

my body to show him I was awake and willing for what he wanted. I

moved my hand to his leg to find he was already naked. He kissed

the back of my neck and shoulders. I moved my upper body and took

off my bra. He pulled it from me and grasped my breasts in both

hands.

“You feel so good. I’ve missed this so much,” he kept kissing

neck and sucked on my earlobe.

“It’s only been five days, Liam.” I moved my ass against his

crotch. He pulled my panties down and completely off.

“It feels like longer.” He put my legs back in the L position and

kneeled with one knee beside my legs and the other along my back.

He entered me from behind and leaned forward.
One hand was in front of me near my chest, and the other

behind me close to my back. His hips moved and he breathed in and

out like he was working out. He leaned in and kissed me hard then

lingered over my face.

“Does that feel good, baby?” he asked as he moved faster. I

nodded and closed my eyes. We were barley touching each other

but somehow this felt deeper and more intense. He leaned back on

his knees and kept moving his hips. He ran his hand over my ass, and

kept breathing hard.

“Ah….Oh….God Norah….you feel amazing, baby.” He moved

my top leg over his hip, and thrust harder and faster. He leaned his

head back and closed his eyes. His grip tighten on my hip and he kept

pulling me to him faster. I could see by the look on his face that he

was another world. “Fuck….I’m gonna come……yes, baby…..yes,

baby.” He movements got slower and he leaned back down to kiss

me and ran his hands over my body.
His kissed my lips then traveled down to my neck and

breasts. “That was so good, Norah.” Then he leaned back and looked

in my eyes.

“Did you come?” he asked like it was an afterthought. “Shit,

Norah, I’m sorry.” He leaned back and pulled himself from my body. I

leaned up and kissed him lips.

“It’s okay, it isn’t a big deal. It was nice being close to you. I

loved that position. It was so hot. And I could see that you really

enjoyed it too.” I scooted to the edge of the bed so I could get up

and get some water. His hand stopped me and wrapped around my

waist. He scooted behind me.

“Norah, Dammit. Our first time back together and I’m so

selfish I don’t even let you come? That’s fucked up.” I turned to look

at him over my shoulder.

“It’s fine, really.” He held me tighter and I felt his hand move

between my thighs to my sex. “Stop, you don’t have to, it’s okay.”
He parted my legs and laid so his body was still behind me

but his head was in my lap. He ran his thumb my clit and massaged it

in circles. My breathing picked up and I rolled my head back and

closed my eyes. I felt him lean forward and lick my clit softly. He

moved my legs apart some more, and I brought one foot up on the

bed. His tongue stayed at the top of my pussy but he licked me like a

cat drinking milk. I ran my hands through his hair and leaned back on

my elbows. Watching him lick me always turned me on. He kept

licking me as I came and tugged at his hair. I had to push him away

when I didn’t think I could take anymore. He leaned up and wiped his

mouth on the sheet.

“I’m an equal opportunity pleasure provider,” he laughed. “I

guarantee you come and don’t stop until you do.” We both laughed.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I needed water. I came back to

the bed and Liam was sitting up leaning against the headboard.
“Don’t ever let me do that to you, Norah. If I’m about to

come and you haven’t, tell me to stop.” I crawled over him and

cuddled up next to him.

“It’s that easy for you? Don’t come, and you don’t?” I looked

up at him.

“Well it isn’t easy, but I like to think I can control it. I don’t

know what happened just now, I usually pay close attention. You got

me so distracted.” He kissed the top of my head.

“Like I said, it isn’t that important.” I looked up at him. “Not

that I want to be left out all the time, but I like just being close to

you.” He slumped down in the bed and held me while I fell asleep on

his shoulder.

*****

Liam laid with Norah in his arms and thought about all the

things he had said to her that day. Guilt overwhelmed him.
Seeing her with her family and friends made him feel selfish

for wanting to take her away again. She was relaxed and confident

around them, but was tense and bottled up with him. He knew he

had caused her to hold back her feelings from him. He had made her

fear living out in the world without him. Watching her talk with

people, dance, drink and even make her speech at the reception

made him realize what an extremely capable woman she truly was. If

he took her back with him, she would concede to his every demand,

live a life of submission to him, and now knowing how much he paid

for her, for the rest of her life, she would feel as if he owned her.

And he really couldn’t blame her for that. Did he really think, deep

down in his darkest place, that he didn’t own her? He said he didn’t,

he even told her he didn’t want to own her, but was that the truth?

No, it wasn’t. He did want to own her, he did think she belonged to

him. If he took her back with him she would live her life for him, and

rarely see her family. She would live a double life, submitting to his

wishes, and being a confident, relaxed girl for her family.
How long until he just broke her down completely and took

away her confidence all together? He couldn’t do that to her. She

didn’t choose this life, and she knew so little about it. It had taken

him over two years to fully understand it, and he was still learning

new things about himself every day. He made her think this was

what she wanted, but he knew she didn’t. She looked at home and

happy here in Las Vegas. This was where she needed to stay. No

matter what his feelings were, how selfish he was, and how much he

wanted to take her with him, he couldn’t do that to her.

Chapter twenty two

Norah woke alone in the bed and ran her hand over Liam’s

side. It was cold like he had been out of bed for a while. She leaned

up and saw him sitting in the corner dressed in black slacks and

white polo shirt. He was moving his leg up and down like he was

nervous about something. She looked around the room and saw his

bags were packed and her clothes were folded neatly in the chair

beside the bed.

“Are we going somewhere?” she asked as she pulled the

sheet up from the bed and wrapped it around her body.

“Yes. You’re going home, and I’m going back to London.” His

leg never stopped moving.

“What? What are you talking about? Did something

happen?” she moved to the edge of the bed closer to him.
“No.” He stood up and walked to the other side of the room.

“I just need to get back and you need to stay here.” He turned and

faced her again.

“Why are you moving away from me? Did I do something

wrong?” she took another step in his direction and he took a step

back. “Stop. Stop trying to move away from me.”

“Norah, I’m not in the mood for games this morning. Get

dressed so I can take you home.” He sounded very unemotional and

completely turned off, like the old Liam.

“No. Not until you tell me what’s going on.” She sat down on

the bed and crossed her arms.

“What’s going on is,” Liam took a deep breath, what he was

about to say was going to rip him apart and her too. “We don’t

belong together, Norah. I thought about it last night, and I can’t have

you in London, I don’t know what I was thinking when I said I could.”
“You should be here with your family.” He lowered his eyes

and ran his hand over the back of his neck.

“What are you talking about?” her voice was very soft.

“I’m talking about us. We don’t belong together. I don’t know

why I even came here. I should have just left you alone.”

“You said you wanted to marry me!” she was yelling now.

“You told me to plan a big wedding! What happened to all that?” She

stood up.

“Like I said, I don’t know what I was thinking when I said

those things. Really, a guy like me married, please that’s a joke

right?” He forced a smile across his face.

“What’s wrong with you? Why are saying this? You know I

will go with you. I don’t care about being married.”

“You can’t move in with me. You need your family and they

need you. I can’t ask you to leave them again. And marriage is

important to you, don’t pretend it isn’t.”
“I’m going with you!”

“Well I don’t want you to. I don’t want you.” Norah felt like
