"I just had another, shall we say,
coital vision."

He tensed. "About what? Is this bad
news?" He looked at her again. "Good news, since you're brimming
with excitement," he reiterated, relaxing.

"Well..." She touched her chest, "it
appears that the nervous eating I've been doing has little to do
with nerves and more to do with the fact that I'm now eating for
two."

It took Marcus a few seconds to grasp
what she was telling him.

"Wait; what did you say?" he yelled.
"We're going to be parents?"

She nodded at him. He grabbed her to
him and hugged her hard before leaping from the bed and starting to
put his clothes on.

"You stay right there," he demanded.
"I'll bring you whatever you need. We're going to take very good
care of you and our baby!"

"Marcus, sweetheart, I'm not made of
glass. If you recall, I just played a part in decimating a huge
evil. Now, if you'll just hand me my clothes, we'll go downstairs
and break the news to my parents. Although Mother probably already
knows." Lola laughed.

Marcus returned to the bed and took his
wife in his arms for one more kiss.

"We're so lucky," he said to
her.

"Luck has very little to do with it,"
Lola replied. "It's our destiny."

He nodded and kissed her again. His
eyes were shining. "How about I bring them here so you don't have
to go down? I mean, you're tired. I just made love to you."
Something horrible passed his face, as if he had thought of every
consequence that could happen after a little exercise called
lovemaking, all of them the worst kind thought only by
over-reacting people. "Maybe we should-"

"Marcus, don't worry. Hey honey, I'm
tough. I'll tell you the truth when I'm really tired, I
promise."

"Promise..." he said as if he was
saying something sacred.

"Promise," she repeated.

He kissed her again. He was still so
excited. "I can magically bring you down," he suggested. "And no
'buts'. Humor the loving husband."

She laughed again, her heart filling
with happiness as she said. "Honor the king of my
heart."

He blinked. "I do feel like a king when
you say it like that."

And he kissed her again before he
brought her clothes so they could go downstairs.

Chapter Nine

THE CLASS OF EXCITED twelve-year-old
girls approached the castle.

Their teachers had barely been able to
keep them contained on the way here, and had been threatened with
detention several times if they did not calm down. This boarding
school class was an experiment as far as the owners of the castle
were concerned. They had received many requests for tour groups and
had agreed to let the Pickford School for Girls be their first
group.

The girls were always excited to get
out of class but a field trip was something really special. As they
continued giggling, the teachers lined them up two by two before
crossing the bridge over the moat.

Bringing up the rear were Britney and
Abigail. Britney was experiencing some cramping and she was praying
that she was not beginning her period.

The cramps had started last night, but
she was hoping for a couple more days. Trying not to grimace and
grab her stomach, she went across the bridge. As she reached the
other side another sudden stabbing pain hit her abdomen. This time
she was unable to keep from bending forward slightly.

"Are you ok, Brit?" Abigail
asked.

"Yeah, it's just cramps. I think I'm
getting ready to start."

"Oh man! Did you bring something with
you?"

"Of course I did. I just hope that they
have a public bathroom in this place," Britney stressed as another
pain hit her. "Oh no! I think I just started!"

"You've got to tell Ms. Ashton!"
Abigail whispered.

"Yeah I know but now I've got blood all
over my skirt! I can feel it!"

A few drops of blood started to drip
from her underwear and hit the cobblestones at the castle entrance.
It spread in between the stones, and the mortar soaked it up.
Britney, Abigail and her teacher tried to handle the situation as
the blood slowly continued to dissipate.

It happened to come into contact with
several black ashes, which twitched and quickened as they began to
form a small funnel that grew progressively larger.

As Lola Ravensworth-Swan provided Ms.
Ashton with necessities to help Britney clean up and return to the
tour with as little notice as possible, the funnel of ashes swirled
faster and faster until they had formed the shape of a tall
man.

Taking a deep breath and clenching both
of his fists, he drew himself up to his full height.

Lightning shot from his ice blue
eyes.

Looking across the long back lawn, he
focused on the castle that belonged to his son and
daughter-in-law.

They only thought they had destroyed
him.

Now, they needed to fear him more than
ever.

He would take Lola and make her his
queen.

In the end, he would have everything
that he had ever wanted.

THAT NIGHT, Lola and Marcus sat by the
fire in their bedroom suite, cuddled up on their sofa.

Marcus was drinking a glass of wine and
Lola was sipping on mineral water with lemon. She was now twelve
weeks pregnant and nauseous at times.

Marcus was asking her about the girl
that day who suddenly started her period.

"Oh, I felt so bad for her," Lola said.
"She was mortified. I did a little magic on her skirt and
underwear. She thought I was some sort of cleaning wizard. By the
time she left the bathroom, no one was the wiser about what had
happened."

"You know, you're going to be an
amazing mother," Marcus said as he hugged her close and kissed her
forehead.

She closed her eyes and smiled as she
leaned her head against his shoulder.

"I hope I can," she said. "But you're
going to be such a terrific father that you'll make up for any
mistakes I might make."

Marcus turned an attractive shade of
red as he blushed at her compliment. He harbored secret fears that
he might not be a very good father due to his own heritage, but
Lola refused to let him give in to them.

It made him love her all the
more.

Chapter Ten

HE LEANED DOWN and kissed her mouth
this time and felt his arousal begin. He had tried to tone down
their lovemaking a bit since Lola had given him the news, but it
didn't stop him from wanting her as much as he ever did. Lola was
excitedly returning his kiss.

As he tried to pull back a little, Lola
pulled herself into his lap and straddled him as she continued to
kiss him even more deeply. Finally, Marcus pulled his face
back.

"Hey, hey," he whispered softly. "Are
you sure that it's okay for us to do this?"

"Marcus," she said in a placating tone,
"pregnant women do this all the time. As long as you don't get
exceptionally rough, we're all fine. However, if you're so worried
about it, I have an idea."

"Really? And what would that idea
be?"

"Just follow my lead," she said. Then
she went back to kissing him.

His hands were on her hips as she
slowly started to move against the very hard bulge in the front of
his pants. A feeling of electricity jolted through them as Lola
used her body to tease him. She reached down and deftly unfastened
Marcus's pants. Reaching inside of the opening of his black silk
boxers, she drew out his cock. She felt it throbbing and spasming a
bit in her hand and she knew she had him.

"Don't move," she whispered to him as
she stood up. Untying the belt on her short silk robe, she let it
drop to the floor. Then she slipped out of her thong and climbed
back onto his lap. She straddled him again and put the head of his
cock directly against her clit. They both shivered at the sudden
sensation this caused. She started to move against him slowly. Both
of them were getting wetter and more slippery by the second, which
neither of them could control.

In a very short period of time, Lola
could feel her pleasure building and she began to speed up her
movements a little at a time. They were both looking directly into
each other's eyes as they moved against each other.

Lola's orgasm hit first.

As she cried out, she wrapped her hand
around Marcus's throbbing hardness to keep the momentum flowing.
When she touched him and he felt her juices gushing from her, he
lost all control.

His eruption covered her lower stomach
and her crotch.

Afterwards, they laughed at the mess.
It was mutually decided that Lola would go fetch some towels. She
grabbed her robe and headed to the en suite where she neatened up a
bit and gathered a clean towel for Marcus.

After putting her robe back on, she
headed back to the bedroom. She tossed the towel to Marcus and told
him that she was going to run a bubble bath.

Returning to the bathroom, she stopped
cold.

There, standing in front of her was the
star of her nightmares for the last three months.

But
how
could he be here?

She and her mother had utterly and
completely destroyed him.

She opened her mouth to scream, but he
was on her so fast that she could not utter a single
sound.

In no time, they were standing in front
of Marcus.

Nickolas held her tightly in front of
him.

Marcus made a move toward them, but was
suddenly pushed back onto the sofa by an invisible
force.

"How is that you're here?" Marcus
demanded.

"Well, it seems that the menstrual
blood of a virgin touched one of my ashes. Wasn't it my lucky day
that the little girl was having a surprise menstrual cycle?" he
sneered at them both. "And now that I'm back, I can go through with
my plans to open the portal and rule a new world with Lola as my
queen."

"Over my lifeless body," she
retorted.

"I'd prefer it not be that way,"
Nickolas replied. "But it can be arranged if you
insist."

Marcus suddenly became silent. He was
sizing up the situation but had no idea what he could do to destroy
this monstrosity that had sired him. His anger building, his body
heating up, he decided that he was not losing Lola and their
child.

Not now, not this way.

Marcus turned his hand and shot a huge
ball of fire in Nickolas's direction.

Lola dropped to the floor and rolled
away to avoid the flame.

Nickolas was violently knocked
backwards into the burning fireplace.

He screamed with rage.

Marcus and Lola watched as Nicholas
burned into ashes once more.

It was a slower, more painful death as
Nickolas perished still trying to fight the power of a person who
was not only powerful in his own right, but more so because his
Queen, and soul mate, had been threatened.

With tears running down her face, Lola
was lifted up by Marcus and pulled away from the fire.

They grabbed containers of water and
poured it over the fire to make sure that it was completely out.
Not taking any chances, they magically cleared the fireplace of all
debris, sending it off where it could never return.

Once it was clean, Marcus built a brand
new fire.

"Do you think it's over?" Lola asked
her husband as she started to drift to sleep in his
arms.

"Yes. Nicholas will not be returning
again ever. Go to sleep, my darling," he whispered back.

She smiled and nodded, sleeping in a
matter of seconds after Marcus's assurance.

She knew that Marcus was telling the
truth.

SEVEN MONTHS later, Marcus and Lola
each held one of their twins in their bed. They had been surprised
with the arrival of a boy and a girl. Even with all of their
magical abilities, this had definitely been a surprise.

But a happy one nonetheless.

It would be a little while before
either of them would know whether or not their twins would show
signs that they also had similar powers.

But it was certain that their parents
would help them become all they were meant to be.

And one day, they would be in their own
quests to find their own soul mates and battle enemies as powerful
as Nicholas.

But for now, they were their parents'
adorable babies.
