“The hospital? The gun shot?” Panic hit her face.
“It's okay” I reached out for her hand. “He was shot in the arm. It wasn't lethal and I am sure he will make a full recover. Now lets get out here and get you back to him.”
A small smile appeared on her lips. Even in the state she was in she still made my stomach flip over. “I just need the toilet” she blushed. I helped her get off the bed and escorted to the bathroom door. “I'll be fine from here.” Once she was safe inside I closed the door.
Just then the hotel door opened and Debbie appeared holding a gun. I froze. Her eyes had a crazy glint to them. She must of spoken to my mother. She began to scan the room, waving the gun about.
“Where is she?”
I looked over at the toilet door and prayed Georgina just stayed in there. I shrugged and swallowed hard. “She's gone!” I put my hands up. “Put the gun down, Debbie. This has already gone far enough already.”
She walked up to me and placed the gun in my face. “You let her go? You were meant to help me get rid of that whore! How could you let her go?”
“Because Maxwell got shot and this was not what we planned.”
The door knob of the bathroom began to click and Debbie's automatically looked over. An evil smile came to her lips. “Who's in there?”
“No one!” I grabbed hold of her arm. “It's probably coming from another room. Lets go and calm down. “ I tried to get her leave the room.
She snatched her arm away and once again waved the gun in my face. “If you say anything I will kill you, Blake. Go stand over there!” She pointed the gun to the far corner of the room. She crept over to the door. I urged Georgina mentally not to come out of the room.
“Okay, Blake. All ready!”
Before I could even warn Georgina, she stepped out and Debbie smacked the gun into the back of Georgina's head. She fell to the floor and blood was everywhere. Debbie stumbled back and instantly dropped the gun. I watched as fright filled her. I ran over and felt for a pulse. Thank god, she was still alive.
Debbie placed her hand to her mouth in shock. “Well?” I didn't answer. “Well?” She screamed.
My eyes look up at Debbie. I wanted to pick the gun up and smash her head in with it. Looking at my beautiful girl pouring with blood and lifeless.
“Your lucky” I snarled. “Call an ambulance.”
She began to cry. What was she crying for? “I can't” she protested. “They will arrest me and probably take Olivia away.”
I stood up and pushed her against the wall. I grabbed hold of her chin and pulled her face up to look at me. “Too fucking late!” I yelled. “Now call the ambulance and if she dies your be next!” Debbie slowly nodded and ran over to the phone on the bed side cabinet.
I look down at Georgina motion less and ran a hand through my hair. This was all my fault! How could I of been so stupid? Once upon a time this woman was my world. I looked after her and loved her with all my heart. Secretly, I still loved her and I would do anything to make her happy.
Now........ I could be responsible of her death!

CHAPTER 16
Laying here was driving me insane. I needed to go out and find Georgina. Every five minutes I would check my phone but nothing! What was that fucking prick playing at! Surely someone should of known something by now. Where was she? I would seriously harm someone if there was one mark on my Miss Dawson.
I felt useless for the first time in my life. I hated the not knowing and hated got being in charge of everything. Fucking dumb hospital, it felt like a fucking prison. There was a knock on the door and I felt my heart beating fast. Hopefully, it was Georgina but the excite drifted away when two policemen walked in. Maybe they had some good news to tell me.
I tried to push myself up with the one good arm I had. “Mr Thomas” one smiled. “We meet again!” I stared at him blankly. “You called me a prick?” He revealed. I rolled my eyes, I didn't care. Surely he should get out more if he remembered shit like that. My arm was beginning to ache, guess the pain killers were wearing off.
“We believe you were shot last night?”
I looked over at my arm. “No! An harmless fluffy bunny bit me!” One of the policemen sat down in the chair next to the bed. “Have you found her?”
The policeman looked up, he looked lost. “Found who?”
“Georgina Dawson” I yelled.
“No... Why would we be looking for her?”
I felt my blood boil. I knew I should of never trusted that shit head. He hadn't even called the fucking police. What was he playing at? Or maybe it was bad! I felt my good fist tighten. What was going on?
“Mr Thomas” the policeman began. “This sounds very serious... We need to know everything that happened. From the start.”
I rubbed my brow in annoyance. How was it going to help sitting here just talking about it! Surely someone should be out there at least searching.
“We need to know all the details, Mr Thomas.” The other policeman said. “It sounds like a possibly kidnapping and you have been shot. For all we know Miss Dawson could be in great danger and if we don't know all the facts...”
“Why didn't you report this sooner?” The other policemen asked.
I glared at him. “I thought it had been by a Mr Blake Waterman, the fucking useless shit!”
The policeman pulled his chair closer and held his pen ready. “Right from the beginning and don't leave anything out.”
I really needed a cigarette. I gave a little cough and began to tell them everything. I explained about the packages, the necklace, the photos and about when we got off that plane. I cried like a baby all the way through. I didn't care that two grown men had witnessed it. The pain of my future wife being snatched away from me was unbearable.
I was nothing without Georgina. How could I even carry on with her? Memories of her filled my head. The bathroom in LA, the dancing in Spain and the very first moment I laid eyes on her. That tiny woman shifting nervously in her seat.
The policeman finished writing and book his little black book away. “Thank you that was obviously very painful. We promise we will find her.”
“And kill the fuckers?” I scowled.
“Afraid killing is an offence” one joked. “ We will find her and get justice. That's the best we can do.” I gave a little nod.
How long was I going to do this begging and praying before she was with me again. Nothing would ever be the same if I lost her.

The sound of the machines were beginning to give me a headache. They had put Georgina into a coma in order to stop any more swelling and any damage from getting worse. I had stayed up with her all night. I couldn't leave her alone in this state. After all I had pretty much put her there. My beautiful Princess was lifeless and breathing with the help of machines. All the love I thought had gone for her had instantly returned. I had spent hours watching her sleep just like I had done a billion times before.
What did I do so bad that made her leave?
I grabbed hold of her hand and brought it up to my lips. Her skin was exactly how I remembered it to be. I placed a little kiss on her hand and held it tighter. I couldn’t leave her even if I was made too. She looked tiny and vulnerable. Once again I was the one taking care of her. Just like it should always be.
What were you thinking revenge?
My mind kept asking.
That was the dumbest idea I had never had in my whole entire life and now I would have to live with the possibilities of Georgina ending up brain damaged.
“I'm sorry” I cried, still clutching on to her hand. “I promise when your better I will make it up to you. We will do what ever you want!”
The door opened and a nurse walked in. She walked over to Georgina and began to do all her checks. I still sat holding on to Georgina's hand.
“Your girlfriend is very beautiful” the nurse smiled.
I smiled back. Georgina was beautiful, she had everything I desired. Remembering all the joy she had brought me made the stomach wrenching guilt worse. I closed my eyes and I could feel her soft satin lips on mine. The smell of her hair which would reignite the flame of passion I would always hold for her. I missed her terribly.
I knew I was with Amy and Amy was nice. She just couldn't replace Georgina. I mean how could someone or something replace anything that would never be replaceable? It wasn't fair on Amy any more. I could never love her the way I loved Georgina. I would never love anyone like I loved Georgina.
“The doctor will be in soon” the nurse said and left me alone with my girl again.. I rested my head on the back of the chair. My eyes were burning from the lack of sleep. There was no way I was going to close my eyes. Just in case she was gone again when I reopened them.
I looked over at her perfectly still body. Then glared at the ring. The ring he had given her! Just a few months ago my ring sat on that finger. The anticipation of waiting for her answer and joy I felt when she finally said yes. I wiped a single tear away. I wondered did she ever thinking about me and if she did what?
“Hi” said a voice entering the room. I looked up at the white coated woman. “I'm Doctor Gul” said the Petit Asian woman. Her big brown eyes look over in Georgina's direction. “She's been very lucky. The scan we did earlier shows no further swelling. Maybe a few more hours and we could consider bringing her out of the coma.” She walked over to the table and picked up the notes. “Miss Dawson has an implant?”
I widened my eyes, what did conception have to do with anything?
“I'm sorry” Doctor Gul laughed. “It's just in her blood test it showed a trace of HCG. We should really do a scan.”
“A scan?” I asked looking confused.
Page 67
“HCG is the hormone a woman will produce when she's pregnant.” I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out. “Your girlfriend is pregnant. The HCG levels are low at the moment, which suggests its early days. Fingers crossed nothing has gone wrong from her treatment and the blow to her head.”
I looked at the doctor and then back Georgina. She was pregnant with his baby????

CHAPTER 17
I slowly opened my eyes and took in my surroundings. A sudden pain from my head ran through me. I couldn't left my head from the pillow.
What had happened?
