He made up a couple of small feeds for Bakari and Cleopatra more as a treat for them than a necessity and they held them on their leads while the horses ate. Once they’d eaten, they rugged them again and lead them back to the paddock to let them go back with the other two. They cantered off to join their paddock mates and Eric threw his arm around Natasha’s shoulders while they watched the horses all play together for a few minutes before settling back down to
graze.

He kept his arm around her as they walked back to the house and he felt her arm come around his waist, holding him close. She seemed to be as caught up in the need for close physical contact as he was and it brought a contented smile to his face as they w
alked.

Back at the house he offered to prepare dinner while she went outside to remove the clothes from the line before the night air dampened them and then she told him she was going for a shower. He could understand her need for one. He was concerned her muscles might be protesting at the unfamiliar use of them by morning, so a nice warm shower might loosen her up, plus after loading her up with his seed, she probably was keen to remove the stickiness from between her legs. He’d come so hard, despite his climax not long before that, but something about her just drove him crazy and she not only turned him on like no other woman ever had, he came like he’d never come before. She blew his mind and his
body.

He chose another one of Maggie’s premade meals, Tuna Bake for dinner and decided to make a salad to go with it. He was just in the process of chopping up the vegetables when Natasha came back downstairs, sitting on one of the bar stools to watch him. He handed her a Bacardi and coke and reached over the kitchen bar to kiss her, breathing deeply of the delicious scent of her shampoo and perfume that rose fro
m her.

She was wearing another one of his sweaters, obviously something she liked to do, wearing his clothes, probably because as they hadn’t been shopping yet, she still didn’t have any really warm clothes to
wear.

He went back to cutting up the tomatoes in front of him and she leaned over grabbing a wedge of tomato, popping it into her mouth. He swatted at her when she went to reach for another. “Stop stealing the food
baby.”

Once the tomatoes were cut up and added to the salad bowl, he started dicing cheese into cubes and again Natasha reached to grab a cube. His hand closed over hers and when she tried to pull free, his sweater slipped off one shoulder and he froze when he saw the red satin rising up to tie at the back of her neck. Oh fuck, she was wearing that little red number that was probably going to give him a coronary when he saw her in it and nothing else b
ut it.

“Please don’t tell me that’s the little red number you showed me earlier.” He closed his eyes. He knew it was but still he asked anyway. Maybe he just wanted to torture himself that little bit more. She didn’t answer him, just gave him her Mona Lisa smile. “Natasha?” He asked
again.

“You told me not to tell you so I’m not.” She smirked and he fought back a grin. Smart
arse.

“God dammit baby, how the hell am I supposed to get through dinner knowing that you’re wearing that outfit under my sweater that’s gonna kill me for sure. That’s assuming I don’t cut my fingers off finishing this s
alad.”

She laughed at him and he continued preparing the salad, mumbling under his breath the whole time about the possibility of losing his fingers if he didn’t concentrate on what he was doing and kept his eyes off that teasing red satin that was set to tormen
t him.

Once dinner was ready, he took the tuna bake from the oven and served them both some. Natasha carried their plates to the table with the cutlery and Eric brought the salad. When the table was set, they both sat down t
o eat.

Again Maggie had created a culinary delight for them and Natasha asked when she was likely to meet the famous M
aggie.

“She might come over tomorrow baby, but I can always give her a call if you want to meet
her.”

“I’d really lov
e to.”

“I’ll give them a call in the morning then and see if they’d like to drop ar
ound.”

After dinner Natasha cleaned up their plates and loaded the dishwasher. Eric sat down to check emails again and he saw her sit down and start reading from her kindle once she’d finished in the kitchen. It was just a nice little domestic scene again, something that he could definitely get us
ed to.

Eric sensed after a while that Natasha was getting restless when she switched off her kindle and settled for watching him work. He hastily finished off what he was doing and shut down his laptop before telling her he was going for a shower. He was eager to see her in her little red number but after horse riding and their time in his favourite secret area on his property, he wanted to be freshly showered before he touched her
again.

He showered as quickly as he could, shaved, brushed his teeth and splashed on some aftershave before dressing in jeans and a black t-shirt. Once he was ready, he padded back down the stairs, bar
efoot.

He could hear Natasha’s voice and when he got down to the last couple of stairs he could see she was on her mobile phone. She was talking to her Mother but the next words out of her mouth sent pain lancing through his body. “He’s no one Mum. It’s not serious ok? Don’t go booking the church just yet please.” Just at that moment she looked up and saw him standing at the bottom of the stairs. “Mum I have to go.” She nodded a few more times and Eric worked out from the one sided conversation that her Mother wanted to know when she’d be back on the mainland. She finally got off the phone and he walked over t
o her.

His heart was still aching at the way she’d dismissed him as nothing to her Mother. Well, that told him what she really thought at least. It might have been honest but it was still painful to hear and to a
ccept.

Knowing full well that she had been talking to her Mother didn’t stop him from asking. “That was your
Mum?”

“Yes. I thought I’d better give her a quick call otherwise she’ll have me lost in the wilderness of Tasmania or somet
hing.”

Eric started preparing the fire and lit it. Once it was burning well, he added a few logs, stretching to ease a couple of kinks in his spine and when he turned to Natasha, she was watching him, those stunning eyes of hers tracking the length of his body. The attraction between them flared to life, but he was still feeling sorry for himself over her words to her Mother and he walked off to the kitchen, asking her if she wanted a drink but she shook her
head.

He poured himself a scotch, larger than he’d normally have but he wanted something to take the edge off the hurt that still flowed through his body. He sat down on the lounge but at one end, not making any attempt to get close to her as he normally would. He could feel her eyes on him every few minutes or so as he sat in silence, her dismissive words to her Mother playing over and over again in his
head.

“What’s wrong Eric?” She aske
d him.

Obviously she could sense there was something bothering him so he might as well have it out with her. “What did you mean when you told your Mother I was no
one?”

She sighed noisily, reaching out to take his hand in hers. “Oh for crying out loud Eric, I told my Mother that to stop her asking a whole string of questions. You’re the one who wanted this time away to be a secret. If I told her who I was with, that I was with my boss, she’d be planning our wedding. You have no idea how much she wants to see me married off. Her greatest fear is to have her only child left on the s
helf.”

His mind digested what she said and he felt relief flow through him. He could understand in that case why she’d said what she did to her Mother. If her Mother really did want her daughter married off, then her words made sense because although his feelings had changed, Natasha didn’t know that and she still believed that their time away was supposed to be a secret. He couldn’t help but wonder if she was ready to give up their time together all the
same.

“Have you thought about when you want to go home?” He braced himself for her answer. He wasn’t ready to give up the time they were spending together and he hoped like hell that she was feeling the sam
e way.

“No I haven’t. Why do you want to go
back?”

Despite his relief that she was no more interested in facing the real world again as he was he knew they couldn’t stay here forever as tempting as the idea was. He assured her that he was happy the way things were for now although they would eventually have to head
back.

They sat in silence for a while and as he sipped his drink he became aware that Natasha seemed restless, almost nervous. What the hell was going on with her now? She got up telling him she was going to the bathroom and he watched her leave the room curious as to when he’d get to see her in that little red n
umber.

While she was gone, he ducked into the kitchen, rummaging in the fridge for something he wanted to try using on Natasha tonight. He left it sitting on the kitchen bench so it wouldn’t be so cold and put her into orbit when he touched her with it. He sat down on the lounge again and closed his eyes while he waited for her to come back from the downstairs bathroom. After a while he heard the soft pad of her bare feet on the floorboards and cranked his eyes open to just slits. At the sight of her dressed only in that red satin outfit of hers, he was instantly hard, but he couldn’t resist having a little bit of fun with her and closed his eyes although every inch of his body was screaming at him to open them
again.

His body was tuned in to her though and he knew when she stopped in front of him, he could hear the impatient sigh when she was obviously looking at him and he had to bite down on the inside of his cheek not to grin when he heard that
sigh.

He heard her step away from him and slowly he opened his eyes, just enough to watch her. She had moved over to the fireplace and was raking her hands through her hair, impatience and frustration clearly evident on her face. She shoved her hair back which had fallen over her eyes and it immediately fell back as soon as she released it. She pursed her lips up to blow the hair off her face and the sight of her doing that, the fact that her sexy look had slipped for a moment, brought him undone and a chuckle made its way past his
lips.

Her startled eyes shifted to his and he opened his fully to watch her, struggling not to laugh at her expression. “I thought you had gone to sleep.” Her tone was accusing and that was the catalyst for him, he burst out lau
ghing.

“Seriously baby, when I knew you had that on under my sweater? How could I possibly sleep until I saw you i
n it?”

She pouted which nearly had him laughing at her again but he struggled to contain it since she was looking a little pissed off with him. A look that was so adorable on her, with her eyes flashing her anno
yance.

“Well you’re not exactly acting like a man overcome with passion.” She grumbled and instantly her words wiped the smile off his face. She was worried he didn’t want her? Was that what all this was about? Well, obviously it was time to show her. He stood up, advancing on her, his eyes running up and down her body as she stood there in that red little number that was going to push his blood pressure to a record
high.

When he was standing in front of her, he reached out to grab her hand and pressed it against the fly of his jeans. “Does this feel like a man who is not overcome with passion?” He bent forward to whisper in her ear and he felt her shiver against him. He stepped back to take another long, slow look at her. “God you’re so beautiful. That.” He pointed to her outfit. “That is going to be my undoing. Do you have any idea just how much I want to rip that thing aside and bury myself in you right now? No foreplay, just fucking pound into you until you scream?” Fuck, just the image in his head was enough that he had to close his eyes as he fought not to put his words into a
ction.

She wasn’t helping him when he finally opened his eyes and saw her nipples straining like twin hard peaks against the satin fabric that barely covered them and her arousal darkened her eyes as she looked at him. “Fuck it Natasha, you’re not helping. Dammit, I have to do this right. Get down on the rug.” He grabbed a couple of cushions off the lounge and dropped them down onto the mat with her as she did as he asked and lay down, positioning the cushions under her
head.

He walked back into the kitchen to quickly grab the thing he intended using on her, grinning to himself when he tried to anticipate what her reaction would be. He dropped it on the lounge and stepped back to where she lay in front of the
fire.

Quickly he removed all his clothes, his cock springing free, slapping against his stomach when he released it from the confines of his jeans. Natasha lay watching him and she circled her lips with her tongue as she gazed up at him, causing his cock to bob enthusiastically at the sight of her dampened
lips.

He stepped back to the lounge to grab his surprise for her and held it up for her to see. Her eyes widened at the sight of the cucumber in his hand. “Do you know what I want to do with this baby?” When she swallowed nervously, he knew that she knew what his intensions
were.

Carefully he lowered himself to the rug by her side ignoring the aching need to say ‘fuck it’ and simply make love to her without the use of the cucumber first. He leaned over to kiss her, tracing her bottom lip with his tongue until she opened her mouth and kissed him back with as much passion as he was feeling. Fuck but he wanted her. The question was could he control himself long enough to spend the time teasing her and bringing her pleasure with the cucumber? He knew he was going to have to take it slowly with her. She was looking very nervous and he knew the cucumber was slightly bigger than he was, but no way in hell would he ever risk hurting her. He loved her too much to ever do anything that could cause her
pain.
