This is so
embarrassing for me but yeah, you’re right, she’s cute.

Don’t worry
she’s probably seen and handled lots of cocks before.

I would think so,
and with looks like hers probably not just professionally. How about a
threesome with her?

Christopher, I’m
warning you.

Okay, okay.

Dr.
Delaney turned around and repositioned the light so it shone on Christopher’s
lower belly.

She pressed the area around
the stab wound.

“How long ago did this happen?” she asked.

“About
forty-five minutes ago,” said Christopher.

“Afraid
you’re going to need sutures to close it up because it’s both wide and deep.
Ever have those before?”

Christopher
shook his head.
“No, never.”

“Let’s
take a look at the bite on your penis. Oh, and when I touch you, if you get an
erection don’t be embarrassed because it happens to my patients all the time,
perfectly natural.”

Oh, I bet it
does.

What did I just
warn you?

She
redirected the light lower and ran her hand over the wound on his cock.

“Geez,
this is quite a bite. This lady’s got some very sharp teeth.”

Don’t comment on
that.

She lifted Christopher’s cock with one hand
while the other gently pressed around the teeth marks. His brother had to be in
pain because he wasn’t getting aroused one little bit, but seeing the doctor
run her hand over Christopher’s penis made Aiden wonder what it would feel like
if she was doing it to him. Not to examine him but as a prelude to sex. He
swallowed, coughed, and shifted his feet, hoping she didn’t see him pull on the
front of his pants to ease the sudden tightness there.

Talk about me
keeping my libido in check. Look at the size of that. You need to get laid dear
brother.

Aiden
glanced down. Shit there was a huge bulge. He hoped she didn’t notice it too.
He glanced at his brother who wasn’t taking his eyes off him now.

You’re imagining
having sex with her aren’t you?

Okay, yes, but let’s
get our mind out of the gutter and keep it out of there, okay.

She
leaned over to reach for something on a tray causing both the lab coat and
skirt to inch up higher on her thighs.

Boy, those legs, the calves; so shapely and the ankles were smoking hot.
He could imagine running his tongue along them and…

Can’t follow
your own advice can you?

Shit,
he wished he hadn’t told his brother they’d communicate silently because he was
hanging on Aiden’s every thought now, even ones he didn’t want Christopher
intruding upon. A guy had every right to privacy for his lusty fantasies.

“The
wound on your penis doesn’t look too deep so it won’t need sutures but just a
few butterfly dressings. However, I don’t recommend you use it for a while…I
mean you can still urinate, but sex is off limits until this gash closes up.”

Hope that’s
taught you a lesson. Not even sex with one woman let alone two. And do I have
to remind you mating season’s in full swing in two weeks. Lots of cold dips in the
lake for you, buddy.

Yeah, laugh all
you want because you don’t have a female yet.

“When’s
the last time you had a tetanus shot?”

We don’t need
them, but we can’t let her know that. I don’t see a problem with you getting
one so say you can’t remember your last one.

“I
think it’s been awhile.”

“Okay,
I’ll give you one. I’ll also give you some antibiotics to take home. Plus, I’d
like to draw some blood just to make sure there’s no infection. Human salvia
houses lots of germs, so it’s best to get it checked out. I won’t be able to
run it today, but I can give you a call in a couple of days with the results.”

What do I do?
Tell her it wasn’t a human bite, what? Help?

Let her take
your blood or she’ll get suspicious. After that, I can deal with it.

“You
just lie here and relax while I go collect everything, and I’ll be right back.”

* * * *

She
wished that the patient’s brother would have waited outside. Not that she
minded him being there for moral support, but for some stupid reason he made
her nervous. She wasn’t scared that maybe he thought she wasn’t doing her job
properly, but while she’d been examining his sibling, her heart had beat faster,
and her legs had felt like the gelatin pudding they’d served in the med school
cafeteria.

How stupid was
that?
She was thirty-one years old and acting like a school girl with a crush on the
class jock.

She
reached up on the shelf for the tetanus vaccine and a syringe.

Starved of sex,
that’s my problem.

It
had been over a year…she’d never gone this long without a good fuck. She wiped
the perspiration away from her forehead. Just thinking about the guy was making
her hot and bothered. She had to keep her mind on work. Charlotte pulled out a
blood sample collection kit and double checked that everything she needed was
on the tray.

He
wasn’t wearing a wedding band, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t married or didn’t
have a significant other.

Why
was she even thinking about it?

Just go back in
there and do your job.

She
found Aiden reading a magazine while Christopher looked like he was dozing off.

“Sorry
to keep you waiting
.

“You
the only one working here?” asked Aiden.

“At this time of day, yeah, just me.
Or I should say
any time of the day.”

She
set everything down on the side table and washed her hands before pulling on another
pair of latex gloves.

“Let’s
get your tetanus shot out of the way first.
If you want to
roll over on your side for me.”

He
turned over while she filled the syringe and then she rubbed his butt with an
alcohol swab.

“Just
a slight pinch and that’s it.” She stuck it in him, heard him draw in his
breath, and mumble something.

“Okay,
all
done
.”

He
rolled back over, and she put the tourniquet around his bicep and felt along
his arm for a vein. One popped up into view straight away. She wished all her
patient’s veins were as easy to find because it would make her job quicker and
it would be less stressful for them too.

“Okay,
another slight pinch and we’re half way done.”

Gliding
the syringe into his vein, she sensed Aiden wasn’t taking his eyes off her again.
Did he mistrust her skills as a doctor? Did she fascinate him? Did he find her
attractive? She shook her head hoping that simple movement would free such
ridiculous thoughts from her mind.

She
glanced down at the syringe. Christopher’s blood was thicker than normal, and
if it wasn’t her eyes, which were probably tired from working long hours, she’d
swear it had an almost greenish blue hue to it. Something was wrong with it,
with him. However, she wouldn’t she say anything right now in case she panicked
him. She’d wait to see what the test results detected.

Charlotte
set the vial down on the countertop, noting Aiden wasn’t taking his eyes off
it. Had he noticed the unusual thickness and color too?

“I’m
going to give you a shot of Novocain around the wound on your hip before I
suture it. I won’t lie and say it’s not going to hurt, but just try and relax
and focus on something else if you can.”

Charlotte
filled the syringe and, as gently as she could, injected it in several spots around
the wound. Poor Christopher drew in his breath. His head fell back, and as it
snapped back to face her, she swore his eyes had changed from blue to brown.
She threw the syringe into the medical waste receptor and blinked three times
in quick succession. This had to be fatigue.

“Hey,
buddy, just hang in there.” Aiden rushed to his brother’s side. The two looked
at one another without saying a word. Nodding and blinking every so often. Were
they communicating with one another without talking?

Shit, how silly
did that sound?

“Just
the sutures now and we’re all done. Take some deep breaths,” she said.

Despite
the Novocain, she guessed he was still feeling the needle make its way in and
out of his skin because he was squeezing his eyes together and groaning.
Stitching up a patient wasn’t something she’d done often but she didn’t think
her sewing skills
were that
bad. When she closed up
the last section of skin, she noticed the dried blood also had a blue hue to
it. Still she wouldn’t worry about it now. Lab results would confirm or deny
her suspicions that he had something wrong with him. Charlotte wasn’t quite
sure who was more relived, him or her when she set down the needle on the tray.

“Just
the butterfly dressing on your other wound and you’re done,” she said.

She
tore open the package, held his penis with one hand and placed the dressing
onto it while wrapping her hands firm around its circumference to make sure it
adhered to his skin.

“You
have a restroom here?” asked Aiden.

“Sure,
down the hall on the right,” said Charlotte.

He
didn’t say another word but just made a mad dash for the door.

“He
gets a bit nervous about all this type of stuff,” said Christopher. Was he
laughing? Was
he
making fun that maybe his brother
needed the restroom so he could throw up?

****

Aiden
barely made it to the restroom before his eyes changed color. He bit into his bottom
lip trying to stop the transformation, but it was of no use at this point. When
he looked in the mirror above the sink, he realized how close he’d come to the doctor
seeing his other half. He was highly aroused, and it might be awhile or so
before his body returned to normal.

Shit.
This wasn’t really his fault. How was he supposed to have known that the
previous doctor had left and been replaced by a woman? Not just any female, but
an attractive one. When he’d stood next to Christopher and seen her handling
his cock like that, he’d just lost it. He’d imagined her doing the very same
thing to him. That’s all it took for the sudden surge in hormones, and hence the
urge to shift.

Christopher
too had almost given them away when he’d experienced the pain of the needle
piercing his skin, but he’d managed to control it before the doctor got
suspicious.

Keeping things under control
was the key to staying safe, but sometimes it was easier said than done.

Aiden
slapped his hand on the side of the sink. Keeping things under control… that
was a joke. This time his libido had gotten the better of
him.

He
glanced into the mirror. Damn, his eyes were still black which wasn’t
surprising because his cock and balls were tight and twitching. Other than
heading out to the examining room, ripping that thong off her and diving deep
inside her to get it out of his system, he’d have to hide in here until he got
it together.

He
paced the floor a few times, but that wasn’t helping one bit. He squeezed his
eyes shut.
Stop
thinking about her.
She’s a
human.

He
turned and walked back toward the sink, but Aiden still couldn’t shake the
image of her. With all his responsibility with work and looking after the Western
Montana shifters, he hadn’t had time for sex let alone a relationship. Maybe he
should just go home and find the first willing woman from their group and have
sex. Only problem was he wasn’t in the least bit attracted to any of them. He’d
truly believed something was wrong with him in that department, but now that
he’d set eyes on the doctor he knew there was nothing to worry about. He was
waiting for the right female to attract him.
Ironic that it
turned out to be a non-shifter.
What were the odds of that happening?

“Are
you okay in there?”

Dr. Delaney was at the door.

He
turned on the taps.

“I’m
fine. I’ll be right there,” he shouted back to her.

“No
hurry. I’ve put your brother on the couch because he was feeling tired. Maybe
you should let him sleep for a bit before you take him home.”

The
sedative he’d given him. He’d overdone it, and now Christopher was in the land
of slumber.

“Good
idea.” He didn’t really mean that. He wanted them both to get out of this place
as soon as they could. However, at least this would buy him some time to get
his mind and body under control.

“I’ll
be in the office if you need me.”

I need you all right.
