They live in Thailand, and Mantak Chia teaches four months a year in the United States. DOUGLAS ABRAMS is a freelance writer and editor. His wife, RACHEL CARLTON ABRAMS, M.D., specializes in family and women s medicine at a clinic in Santa Cruz, California.
