Chapter 30

Visiting the Mystics

Joshua and Layia had enlisted Tara, Jonathan and Bryan to help with the portal. They were skeptical of inviting any others to help them reach Lillian. They had heard from Talis and Jasmine, who were on their way back, but needed to move right away before they ran out of time. It was also rumored that Michael and Tythia were also on their way back to summon a Joint Council at the University. This would be the time to confront them and seek the truth, but they needed to find out more from Lillian first. The young group was quite nervous.

Jonathan had come from the collective farm to the University to help Joshua. They were happy to see each other, but had no time to be alone. Little did Jonathan know he would be sneaking into the portal building to help with this task. Tara, of course, agreed to help immediately. She was needed to run the computer controls for the portal to function properly.

It was in the middle of the night when the group made their way to the portal chamber at the University. It was eerily quiet as they silently crept toward the building on the far edge of the campus. The portal chamber was dark inside; its large glass structure shined in the moonlight, but no one was around. There was no security at the University or in any of the buildings. People had freedom to enter buildings at their will. There was no reason to steal or destroy property in their society. ‘Do no harm’ had indeed been integrated into the way they lived and had been part of almost three generations. Nonetheless, what the young people were doing made them cautious, as someone had sabotaged the portal the last time they had been there. None of them liked the idea of using the device without the knowledge of the Council or the people, yet they felt they didn’t have a choice. They had to find out the truth.

“Tara, can you get things going quickly?” Joshua whispered as they quietly made their way into the chamber.

“Yes, I think so. It’s mostly automatic,” she said. “I will need Bryan and Jonathan to assist me if we are to get it done on time.” They both acknowledged their role and followed her into the control room.

Suddenly a lone figure appeared from of the shadows. They all were startled. It was Marti.

“I thought you young folks could use some help,” he muttered in his casual way.

Tara smiled and relaxed. She trusted the scientist. “Thank you, Marti. We definitely could use some help.”

Joshua was a bit skeptical of any Elders. “Marti please, you must not tell anyone of our journey. We have not told anyone.”

“My lips are sealed. Now let’s get you going,” Marti said. He quickly fired up the control panel. “Tara, get the energizer prepared please.”

They worked furiously, knowing they had little time before others would know that the portal was being used. Jonathan and Bryan did their best to assist them.

Joshua wanted to make sure the group knew their purpose. He also wanted to let Jonathan know that he might not return.

“Not return?” Jonathan questioned him.

“I feel my task is to be a bridge for the lost mystics. I may need to help with keeping the energy stable. We have spoken to Lillian about this. We first need to find out the truth of what happened during their disappearance. Then we will need to make a plan for their ascension.”

Jonathan didn’t quite know what to make of it all. Although he knew much of what had happened, Joshua had not had time to tell him the entire story of the last few days. Regardless his supportive nature and love for Joshua transcended all judgment.

Jonathan smiled. “I wish you well then and will always love you. May we meet again when it is time.”

“And I love you,” Joshua said as they warmly embraced, perhaps for the last time.

Layia told the group. “We are not sure what will be asked of us. One of us will need to return with the truth. Blessed be.”

They all bid their goodbyes as they entered the inner chamber and the portal. The control room was ready. They needed to go quickly.

“Firing sequence beginning,” Tara shouted out. “Ten seconds.”

They all looked nervously at the two travelers in the inner chamber.

“Three, two, one. Initiating sequence!”

The burst of light temporarily blinded the four in the control room as Joshua and Layia disappeared into the other dimension. They were gone.

“Now we wait,” Marti said as he looked at the others. “And hope for the truth.”

“They will find it,” Bryan said quietly as he closed his eyes to meditate.

Joshua and Layia quickly entered the tunnel of light as they made their way to the large cathedral room where they had met the spirit guides the first time. Their bodies were once again translucent and their speech came from their thoughts.

“Welcome, my Earth friends,” Auria the gatekeeper appeared. “We have been expecting you. We must get you to the mystics. Your Earth time is precious if you are to heal.”

The two travelers bowed. “Thank you, Auria. Yes, time is of the essence. We have much to do and much to learn.”

Just then Forena, Joshua’s spirit guide, appeared to guide them through the vortex. She motioned for them to follow. “Let us go now, my friends. We want to give you much time.”

Auria wished them well as they entered the second vortex. Immediately they felt the lightness of their already weightless bodies. Joshua began to drift.

“Stay with me, Joshua,” Layia said. “We need to keep you grounded. We need to keep the connection with the earth energies if we are to succeed.”

“Yes, I know. Help me, please—I lose myself in the spirit realm so easily.”

Layia focused here chakra
energies on keeping her friend grounded. She knew this would be her main task.

They arrived at the vortex where the lost mystics were. Their energy form was already present. Two forms appeared again. They slowly broke off from the larger energy force and began to form into a familiar shape for the travelers. They could see Lillian, but did not recognize the other form. From what they could sense, it was also a feminine spirit similar to Lillian.

“I am known as Jelina,” the energy form said. “I came to the collective to help them soon after the uprising, knowing what had been done.”

Joshua acknowledged her. “Yes, Jelina, you were one of the original mystics. And you knew what happened to your young mystics when they disappeared?”

Jelina looked at him deeply. “I did not know until it was too late, but my abilities allowed me to communicate with those that I nurtured. They were my children.” She looked at Lillian with love, her energy brightening.

“Jelina and the others did not intend to trap us in this realm,” Lillian said. “They were forgiven long ago. Although at first we were confused, we soon understood our purpose. Dear Joshua, I have so much to tell you.”

Joshua needed to know the truth. “What happened, Lillian? We need to know for our survival. Things are getting confusing on Earth and I am not doing well.”

“Remember that vibrations are the essence of the universe, Joshua,” Lillian said with care, “and that love is the highest vibration there is. You need to remember: Love is the greatest transformation we can make while in our bodies on Earth. It is the essence from which you came and to which you will return. It is through our experience on Earth that we bring this higher vibration into the physical realm. This is part of our work while on our beautiful planet. Everything is energy and carries a powerful signal. We don’t always feel love, but we strive for it. We open our heart fully and live with all our being. We believed that our sacrifice was based on love and that it would transform all of us.”

Joshua was perplexed. He understood in essence what she was saying, but she was not answering the questions he wanted to know. “So the sacrifice of the few for the benefit of the many? And what about Markus? Did he and the others decide this for you?”

Lillian’s energy began to fade. Layia and Joshua could suddenly see there was something glowing from her, close to her belly. They glanced at each other. Jelina briefly merged energy fields with Lillian to help stabilize her essence.

Jelina answered with some defensiveness, protecting the energy of her mystics. “What we did we did out of necessity. Was it right? Was it wrong? At that time we did not know. It was a great struggle. It was a revolution. All of the mystics knew this. They understood the risk. What we did we thought was for the greater good. And has not Earth been better off because of it?”

“Indeed, our world is better off. And we thank you for that,” Joshua said. “Yet these hidden truths threaten to alter our trust in one another. How can withholding the truth for 6o years do us any good in the long run?”

“Joshua, my dear friend.” Jelina’s energy form approached him closer. “Your Elders thought that it was not the time. They needed to believe in themselves without us. They needed the new society to believe in their vision of a better world. Remember the wisdom that is being revealed to all of you recently: without the dark there would be no light. You need to recognize the balance that the Universe creates within this dance. This is an important teaching that you all must understand. We are offering our collective wisdom in many forms to help you see this clearly. The first step in your awakening and healing is opening the heart to this understanding and accepting it. As it has been said: where the light and shadow merge you will find the truth. Let the pain come up and let the heart be open to this experience. This is how your world transformed and this is how it will heal and evolve.”

Layia seemed to understand and added to this. “Every time we give to another, the energy grows. Every time we give love, the old story weakens even more. We have had over six decades of this and now we enter an even stronger time of awareness. This is indeed the time to rebalance the energy, tell the truth and add to the story. We are strong enough now to understand it and forgive.”

Regaining her energy, Lillian spoke up again. “Layia, you are wise. Remember that when we are human, our individual cells adapt to how we think, feel and believe. We absorb those energies and it becomes part of our cellular energy. When we keep our energy vibrations high, even under stressful circumstances, this makes a difference in the larger energy field. We literally create our cells by our beliefs. Your ancestors of the revolution, our dear friends, had to focus on this belief for the world to change. We helped as we could from the other realm to raise the vibration, but it was also their belief and action on Earth that was essential. Earth and spirit working together; this is the key to your evolution.”

Joshua was trying to understand what was being said. “So you are all saying that it was not time? That we were not ready for the truth back then because we had to believe in ourselves first before we could evolve and change? That the new generations that have grown up with these higher vibrations would be able to deal with the pain and eventually heal our collective wounds?”

“Yes, Joshua, that is what we believe,” Jelina said as she moved back toward Lillian. “That is why the secret was held for so long. Markus, myself and the others did what we thought was right to protect our revolution.”

“What did Markus do?” Joshua pressed, wanting to get to the bottom of it all. Lillian’s energy again began to fade. Jelina focused her energy once again on Lillian and the middle of her translucent body glowed. Somehow they were trying to keep its energy stable. Joshua and Layia were not quite sure what was going on.

Jelina motioned them both to come closer. “We need to reveal something to you. Something that you will need to be part of once we are prepared to ascend.”

As they did, they were transfixed by the energy glowing from Lillian. It was pulsating in vibrant colors, part of her, yet seemingly separate.

Joshua asked with hesitation. “What is that within Lillian?”

Lillian looked at him and spoke softly. “This is part of your future, your evolution. A gift from us after all these years to help heal the wounds. This is a bridge between heaven and earth.”

“What do you mean, a bridge?”

“Joshua, this is a child conceived of the earth,” Jelina said joyfully. “This is Lillian and Markus’s child.”

Layia and Joshua could not quite grasp what had just been said. They were very still for some time, staring at the energy, trying to keep grounded themselves and absorb the reality of it.

“How—how is this possible? If this is a child of Earth, how did it survive?” Joshua asked astonished by this miracle.

“It was conceived on Earth before we began the mystic revolution. Markus did not know or he would have stopped our—” she hesitated to finish.

“Stop what?” Joshua asked impatiently.

Lillian ignored his question and continued. “It survived because we nurtured it, our Mystic Collective did so in this realm. It is part of all of us. Now, when we ascend as spirits, it is time to return the Earth Child to the physical plane, for that is where its soul belongs for this lifetime. It is not ready for pure spirit. It is ready to help heal the earth. It is part of Markus, who did not enter this realm, but stayed stable on Earth. That is why we have summoned you. This child and the energy it holds will help trigger the evolution of your future world.”

Joshua noticed that Lillian did not answer his question, but did not press it again. He was transfixed on this child of the earth. He did not quite know what to say or do.
