She was his, even if it was just for a few nights.

Carefully, reluctantly, Caleb pulled out of Jen’s pussy, and then he stood back and watched his semen seep out of her, running down her thighs. His still semierect cock jerked at the sight. He felt a primitive need to mark her. Taking his cock with his hand, he was soon fully hard and pulsing cum. He directed the stream onto her back and ass, promising himself that next time, he’d mark her tits. She was his, and he wanted everyone to recognize that, especially Jen. He would do this in the public playroom on the main stage as she knelt at his feet and everyone watched.

Sighing, he sat at the end of the bed and stroked her hair for a moment. Maybe she wouldn’t want to play again. Maybe this was a one-night stand for her. She was a widow only now ready to be intimate with a man again. And if she was now looking for a relationship, he wasn’t sure he was what she’d pick. He was a gay man, or rather a bi man, just having been dumped after a long-term relationship with the man he thought he’d spend the rest of his life with. And he still had some PTSD issues after having been shot. He probably wasn’t what most women considered good relationship material.

Leaning down, he kissed her cheek and saw her smile up at him before closing her eyes again, clearly coming down from her subspace high.

Working quickly, he first got a damp towel from the bathroom and cleaned his cum from her. He did this reluctantly, but he needed to do it. Then he removed the restraints and helped her to sit up as he massaged her arms and legs to get the circulation going again.

Scooping her into his arms, he brought her up to the head of the bed and laid her on her stomach again while he massaged some soothing lotion over the parts of her body that he’d flogged. Then he turned her on her back and helped her sit up as he held a sports drink to her lips.

“Drink up. You don’t want to get dehydrated.” She was almost asleep, but she managed to stay awake long enough to down half the bottle. He placed the rest beside her on the nightstand in case she woke up in the night. Then he tucked her in, slipped in beside her, and pulled her close and fell asleep, too.

Chapter Eight

Jen cuddled close to Caleb. She felt so good. She was pleasantly sore inside and out. She probably wouldn’t have anything more than a few light bruises. Caleb had been amazing in his care for her before, during, and after. She couldn’t wait to do it again.

He’d been restless during the night, waking her up just before dawn, but she’d soothed him and he’d calmed, clutching her tightly to him as he slept.

Reaching out a hand, she ran it lightly down his chest. It was wonderfully muscled with a light dusting of ginger hair. Carefully she traced the scar on his side. Maggie had told her she had heard that he was a veteran and had been wounded. This must be from the war. She wondered how long ago he had served. This wound wasn’t new, but it didn’t look to be more than a few months old.

Sighing, she ran her hand over his chest again, enjoying the tickle of the hair.

She plucked at one, and still half-asleep, he slapped at her hand and rolled over toward her.

Opening his startlingly green eyes, he smiled directly into hers. Grinning impishly she pushed him back over and moved to straddle him when she heard a voice.

“If you don’t mind, if you are going to fuck him, I can see better if you remove the covers first.”

The voice was laconic with just a hint of a Latin accent. Abruptly Jen subsided back down and under the covers. Who the hell was in their bedroom? The stranger moved so that the light from the window wasn’t obscuring their sight. Suddenly, she recognized him. This was Rey, Caleb’s former sub. He was even more beautiful than in the photo. He was the traditional tall, dark and handsome, but so much more. He was not as tall or as bulky as Caleb. He was lean like a panther with black hair and eyes that seemed to be black like burning coals. When he paced at the end of the bed, he was like a wild animal ready to pounce. Jen didn’t know whether she was scared or turned on or maybe a bit of both.

She glanced over, and it was clear that Caleb was shocked to see his ex-lover. Caleb’s face was a study in emotion. There was desire and hurt and fear and lust all rolled up together.

She could see him swallow hard, and his lips moved as if he wanted to speak, but no words came out. She could see how desperately he loved Rey. Even as she felt happiness for him that his love had come back to him and sadness that she’d never see that kind of love for her on his face, she knew that if Rey was back to hurt him again, he’d have Jen to reckon with.

“Sub. On your knees.
Now
!” Rey’s voice crackled with anger. It wasn’t just a Dom’s voice, it was one very pissed off Dom’s voice. And even though he wasn’t her Dom, she almost obeyed just due to the tone of his voice. She’d actually fisted the blanket to move it out of her way before she got control of herself.

She turned to Caleb and was shocked to see him scrambling out of the bed and, naked, kneel on the floor in the classic submissive pose, his hands on his knees, palms up and those knees spread wide, his semierect cock bobbing between them as he bowed his head and waited.

“Caleb?”

“Slave, I expect total silence from you until I deal with this interloper, and then I’ll deal with you.” He turned his blazing black eyes on Jen. “He’s no longer your concern. You had no right to bed another Dom’s sub. I don’t care if you are a Domme, you know the rules, or if you don’t, you have no right to be on this island. I understood they screened very carefully. I’ll be reporting you to management, and you’ll be banned for this.”

“No, please, Master. She didn’t know.”

Caleb’s voice was tentative but insistent. She saw Rey turn toward him and then look at the floggers on the spanking bench at the bottom of the bed. Then he looked the restraints that had clips but no cuffs. Finally he looked at her wrists, and comprehension seemed to dawn.

He walked over to Jen.

“Show me your wrists!”

Automatically she held them up. He reached out and touched the cuffs she still wore.

“Turn around. I want to see your back.”

Holding the covers to her front, she turned, knowing that there were still be fading red marks on her back and ass. Sighing heavily, Rey walked to the other side of the bed and inspected Caleb’s back before walking back to the center of the room and settling back into the easy chair.

“Now this is a development I didn’t expect.”

“You may now re-cover yourself while I consider how I’m going to punish you both.”

“But, Master…”

“I told you to be silent. You’ve earned twenty for those words. Do you want me to make it forty?”

“No, Sir, but—”

“Forty. Any more?”

He saw Caleb struggle as he had more he wanted to say.

“The next words you say,
she
takes the punishment.”

He watched Caleb clamp his mouth shut.

Reynaldo Montoya had been traveling for twenty-four hours and he was tired and he had arrived to find his lover in bed with someone else, so he was in a very bad mood indeed. He was not happy to have to leave Miami. He loved Miami. It was his home and the home of his extended family. But he loved Caleb, and he hoped he hadn’t waited too long to come after him. He wanted to be able to tell him the truth behind the shooting.

Rey had, at first, tried to convince Caleb that it had been a random shooting and then when Caleb had questioned the story, Rey had tried to convince him that Rey himself had been the intended target, so Caleb wouldn’t be afraid. Caleb hadn’t argued, but Rey was pretty sure that Caleb didn’t believe him. Looking back, it had been a stupid idea. Caleb had deserved the truth but once he’d told the lie, he couldn’t seem to do anything but continue to insist it was true. He told himself that he hadn’t wanted Caleb to be afraid of someone else coming after him after he’d survived the first shooting. But it was also out a sense of denial and of guilt that he had lied and kept lying. The man had been after Caleb to punish Rey for putting one of their gang leaders behind bars. It was his fault his lover was almost killed.

So he had deliberately tried to keep this information from Caleb, not wanting to scare him, but that also meant that he couldn’t talk about his work. And then he’d finally tracked down the contract shooter. He’d had to kill him when he preferred to bring him in, not to face his punishment, but to tell who paid him.

With him dead, it had taken longer to find out who was behind it all, but it was done now. He could tell Caleb everything, including that the person who had hired the shooter was behind bars and he’d finally accomplished this task. He knew that he should never have let Caleb leave, but he knew he couldn’t leave Miami until he got to the source or they would never be safe.

When he’d come home and realized that Caleb wasn’t home, at first he thought he’d gone out and he’d been happy about that. Caleb had become almost agoraphobic right after the shooting. But then he’d gone into their bedroom and seen their contract sitting on his pillow. It was like getting hit in the gut. It hurt more than any bullet would. It was only later that he realized that Caleb hadn’t actually signed the section that would cancel the contract, so he thought there was still a chance for them.

So he’d redoubled his efforts, and he and Joe had rounded up the last of them. He hadn’t even gone home after completing the paperwork. He’d kept a packed bag in his car, waiting for this day. He’d driven straight to the airport. He’d had to wait for hours for a flight, but it was worth it. He was going to get his sub back.

The last thing he’d even considered as a possibility was that Caleb would bed a woman, and not just bed her, top her, for it was clear that the woman was shocked to find that Caleb was his sub. He stared at her more closely. After being a cop for fifteen years, he could read people. She was harder to read than most. A lawyer. He’d bet she was lawyer, although he hoped not the scum-sucking type. Hopefully not one of those who defended the type of people he worked to put away, but still, Caleb was in bed with a lawyer. A female one.

In all the years he’d known Caleb, he’d never expressed interest in women. Rey was bisexual and had occasionally pointed out an attractive woman, but Caleb had never been interested in playing with a woman, let alone adding one to their relationship, so Rey had never seriously pursued that option, but sometimes he missed the softness of a wet pussy and firm tits.

The woman didn’t give much away with her expression after her first look of shock. But he was pretty sure that she wasn’t that surprised to see
him
. She was surprised to see a stranger in their room, but he got the feeling that when she got a good look at him, she had recognized him. She was shocked, though, to find out that Caleb was his sub. Had Caleb claimed to be the Dom, or had she just assumed looking at Caleb’s big frame? People often associated size with dominance. He might be a few inches shorter than his lover, but he was definitely the one in charge.

He studied both of them closely. Caleb was holding position beautifully, although Rey had caught him trying to look sideways at the woman. Rey decided to ignore that lapse for now. And the woman, she was sitting up in the bed, holding up the bedding in front of her breasts, but, other than that, she was obeying him. Clearly, she was a sub and an attractive one at that. He felt his cock stirring. He’d been completely faithful to Caleb since they’d been together, but Caleb had brought her into their relationship. He considered Caleb’s punishment and this stranger’s. Clearly, with her downcast eyes, she was expecting something.

“So, you are not a Domme as I originally believed. What is your name?”

“Jen.”

“Excuse me? Is that how you address a Dom?”

“Sorry, Sir. My name is Jen, Sir.”

“Very good, Jen. And tell me, Jen. What made you think it was okay to fuck another man’s property without permission?”

“I didn’t know…”

“Don’t lie to me, Jen. I know you knew I existed. I saw it in your eyes. You recognized me. How?”

“Caleb has your picture in his office, Sir.”

“And did he tell you that he was my Master?”

“No, Sir. I just assumed.”

“Hmm. And did he tell you that we had broken up?”

“Not exactly, Sir. He told me you weren’t together any more. I just assumed he was your Master and released you, Sir.”

“And now that you know that your assumptions were wrong, how do you plan to make it up to me that you used my property without permission.”

“I don’t know what to say, Sir. I’m very sorry.”

“Yes, yes. You are sorry, but you will still have to pay forfeit. Tell me, how long have you been using my slave? How many times have you fucked?”

“Last night, Sir. Last night was the first time.”

Rey laughed. “One night only? Seriously?” He caught a shadow of guilt on her face. “Or was it?”

“Well, two nights ago. But we didn’t have sex. We just fooled around a bit. Three nights if you count the day we met, but we only had a single kiss on my doorstop.”
