Chapter Eleven

Macy tried not to allow her fears to take over. She knew being married to a billionaire like Darnell he'd be in contact with other women. He's a sexy handsome man but up until now she trusted him. Ever since he hired Jenna Stuart he's made every excuse in the book to be at work and to work late as he possibly could. Macy hated that he insisted on taking Jenna with him to Atlanta. Her trust in him grew painfully thin.

And then there's the fact that he's either too tired to make love or he comes to bed after she's fallen asleep. Before Jenna, Darnell and Macy made love two or three times a week without fail. Now they rarely touched.

"Do we have a problem?" Macy asked Darnell late one night when she made advances on him and he resisted. She had come in wearing a sexy nightie with barely a glance from Darnell. She stood there glaring at him as he looked through work papers.

"Oh honey, no. I'm just tired. My mind is scattered with business. I'm sorry babe. Maybe when things settle down we can get back into our old routine," Darnell said making it clear that he wasn't in the mood at the moment.

Macy felt hurt at the rejection but she decided to make herself ultra-available from sleeping in the nude to making advances on him the second he walked through the door. Every single time he had an excuse, a reason why he couldn't be with her at that moment.

"Excuses," Macy muttered under her breath. She finally gave up trying and told him, "If you want me you know where I am." With that she headed to bed.

She had a bright idea to book a trip, one they had discussed for years, a cruise around Greece and Italy. "It's just two weeks. We could do with a change of scenery. Come on Darnell," Macy begged.

Darnell looked up from his paper at his wife. "Macy, this is so unlike you to beg about going on a trip like this.  You're always saying we're too flashy with our wealth and now you want to hop on a yacht and tool around the Mediterranean?" He blinked at her with an annoyed look on his face.

"I want some time with my husband uninterrupted by the rest of the world. We own this town, why can't we leave it in the hands of your capable partners and the servants and just go? It's just two weeks. The business will survive without you for that amount of time," Macy begged, hoping he’d cave.

"I just can't. I can't leave right now. The business needs me," Darnell said, aggravated at his wife for pushing him. He looked bad down at his paper.

"Can't or won't?" Macy asked, hands on her hip, peering down at Darnell.

"Can't and won't. What difference does it make? I'm not leaving for two weeks right now." Darnell kept his eyes on the paper in front of him, not giving in to her demands.

Macy sighed. "What about a weekend? We could fly up to Martha's Vineyard and spend a long weekend there..."

"Macy please. Right now isn't a good time. I'm not going off." Darnell’s eyes glanced upward with a stern look.

"A short weekend?" Macy asked, trying to maintain her sweet voice.

"No," Darnell said shaking his head, his eyes fluttered back to the paper.

"One night. Fuck Darnell, you should be able to get away for one night," Macy said the anger building within her. Darnell snapped the paper shut and looked up sharply.

"Macy! Stop this. You're acting like a spoiled kid. I am busy, I have a lot on my mind. Even if I did get away for an evening I'd not be present because of all the things going on," Darnell said pointing his finger at his head.

"You can't even go out for one evening with me? Like on a date?" Macy asked feeling defeated.

Darnell grew tired of the barrage, set the paper down, and rubbed his hands over his face. "Right now I just can't. I'm sorry. You're a grown woman; you don't have to have me to entertain you. Why don't you go on the cruise? Take your mother or your sister along. Go and have fun," Darnell said.

"What? I don't want to get romantic with my sister or mother. I want to spend quality time with you. We never get together anymore. I'm just missing you Darnell is all," Macy said as the tears flowed.

Darnell felt sorry for her and rose up to take her into his arms. He brought her to the bedroom and gave her oral sex hoping it would exhaust her. But she seemed revitalized. He feigned an upset stomach when she made advances on him and he ran to the bathroom where he stayed for a good long while. After he returned he told Macy he didn't feel well so she'd leave him alone.

Macy sat down the next day making a list of all the things she suspected with Darnell and Jenna. It all added up perfectly. Her hands shook as she fumbled around looking for the phone number for the Alabama Bank and Trust. She swallowed hard as she punched in the numbers and made the call.

"Hello, yes, may I please speak with Will Stuart...This is Macy Pickens, Darnell Pickens' wife," she said knowing full well they would snap to and get Will on the phone pronto. Within seconds Will Stuart had picked up the phone.

"Hello Will, we need to meet as soon as possible..."

Chapter Twelve

Will hoisted the weights pulling the circuit for the second time during his workout. He had joined the gym in town to expend some pent up energy and the practice of working out became addictive. Anything felt better than being in the empty house at home.

His mind flitted back to when he and Jenna were happy
before
Darnell Pickens showed up. The bastard had hired his wife and had taken her time and attention to the point at keeping Jenna tied up all the time with work. Will angrily shoved the weights back onto the stand and mopped at the sweat that formed on his forehead.

He sat back for a moment thinking of that morning. He had grown tired of taking matters into his own hands, he wanted some attention from his wife. He rolled over just before her alarm clock went off, shut it off for her and took her into his arms. She had been sleeping, a smile on her face. The moans coming from her turned Will on so he hoped for an early morning romp, one that was long overdue.

At first Jenna seemed receptive, to his delight. She moaned again and started pulling him to her until she opened her eyes. For a split second she looked horrified and scrambled to get out of his embrace.

"What's going on? Shit, I'm almost late. Let go, I have to get ready," she said as she checked the clock and wriggled to get out of his embrace.

"I just turned it off. Come on baby, stay here for just a few more minutes," Will said seductively trying to get his wife to submit to him.

"I can't. Fuck, I need to get ready," she said angrily as she hopped out of bed and raced to the bathroom.

"You know, I'm your husband and I deserve some attention every now and then. You've been fucking avoiding me for a long time now," Will said throwing back the cover to reveal his stiff cock.

"Just a minute," Jenna said with less aggravation in her voice. Will hoped she'd return naked and ready for action but she returned instead with a towel and a tube of lube. She smiled as she positioned herself between his legs.

With an obvious look of disappointment on his face Will said, "Can't I fuck that pussy of yours?"

Jenna gave a momentary look of panic followed by disgust. "Nope, can't. I'm spotting," she said as she squirted the lube on her hands and smiled sweetly at her husband.

At that point Will didn't care. He had a hard-on of pent up desire. Doing the deed with his own hands just didn't suffice in keeping him satisfied any longer. Jenna mechanically grasped his stiff pole and began rubbing up and down. Will had trouble maintaining the erection but he shut his eyes and imagined someone else doing it. He saw Macy's sweet face and suddenly he filled with desire for making love to the African American woman. He daydreamed about her soft mocha skin next to his, her easygoing warm smile and her bright hazel eyes. He came to as he lurched forward, Jenna's hand moving swiftly up and down and gently squeezing the head.

"Uhhh, FUCK, I'm about to blast in your hands Jenna," Will said. He stopped short of yelling out Macy's name and as he came he bucked violently almost spraying his DNA all over Jenna instead of just in her hands. She grabbed the towel and wiped her hands before throwing it on his now wilting dick.

He hopped up and brushed past his wife. "Thanks," he muttered as he shut the bathroom door. He would have had a warmer reception by getting a hand job in the freezer at the local ice cream bar. In fact, he's been noticing the cute girl working there who shows him a bit of cleavage as she bends over the drive-through window to hand him his milk shake.

Jenna's evasiveness certainly made him suspicious. Ever since Darnell hired her she has slipped away from Will wanting less and less to do with him. Then there was her outburst a couple of months ago when she got onto him for not wanting to have a lot to do with her. He had taken her to supper that night and she made bee-line for bed afterwards and fell fast asleep.

Ever since then she's had an excuse for not being with him, from headaches, to stomach aches, to fatigue, to spotting or her cycles. She either went to bed way before he did or she came to bed after he fell asleep. And then there's times like this morning when she'd give him a begrudging hand job. Yeah, he suspected her having an affair. He thought about just coming out and asking her but if he was wrong it would start world war three and he wasn't ready for a fight like that.

Then today at work he received a phone call from Macy Pickens. Ah, Macy, the woman he had the gall to fantasize about while his wife gave him a tug and rub. He shuddered as he thought about Macy's soft sweet voice. He really didn't want to have to go down this path, but damnit Jenna forced him to.

"Will, we really need to talk. I think you know why. When can we meet?" Macy had said.

Will froze when he first heard her voice, but it validated what he felt going on all along anyway. Macy sounded a little distressed, like calling him was her last resort, which he imagined it was.

He rose up from the weights and headed for the showers. A beautiful red-head smiled seductively at him as he walked by. He raised an eyebrow and nodded. Never before has he been this flirtatious since he married Jenna. He likes knowing he still has it just in case he needs it. But it didn't matter. Tomorrow afternoon right after lunch he and Macy planned to meet at the NorthSide, a little out of the way eating establishment in the next community, to discuss the situation. He looked forward to having the chance to sit down with the beautiful woman and discussing it.

Chapter Thirteen

"Thank you so much for meeting me here like this," Macy said as she sat down. Her face lit up every time she smiled, little dimples formed just under her cheeks giving her a playful appearance, which thankfully she showed a lot. Will regarded her from across the booth. Her dark brown curls bounced every time she moved her head. Her eyes glittered in the light, flecks of green and light brown that matched her completion perfectly looked up at him making him feel like the center of attention all over again. How he missed having that kind of attention from a woman.

"Okay. So what's up?" Will said looking into Macy's eyes.

"I think you know. I think your wife and my husband are having an affair," Macy said giving voice to what Will felt to be the truth.

Will nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, I've suspected it for a while too. How long you think this has been going on?"

Macy shrugged. "I'm not sure. For a while. He's never treated me like this, avoided me, and I don't know…" Her eyes misted as she looked out the plate glass window at the cars passing on the highway.

Will felt sorry for Macy, she seemed lost with this whole thing. He reached out and grabbed her hand causing her to look into his eyes. "Hey, we'll figure this out," he said nodding and smiling slightly.

Macy looked down at her hand in Will's. It felt warm and she didn't want to move it. "What do we do now?"

"Well, I think maybe we need to try to prove this alleged affair first. Don't you think?" Will removed his hand. "I mean we could confront them individually and they could deny it."

"We could confront them together and judge their reaction to being caught."

Will smiled. "Or we could catch them in the act. That way there is no denying or discussing it."

"Darnell works late. I'm sure they are together there at work. By the time we got there and got in they'd know and cover up. He has that place well secure," Macy said.

"But I imagine, you being his wife and all, will have the security codes to by-pass the security and have quiet entrance into the building?" Will raised his eyebrows hoping she could help.

"To be honest, Darnell leaves me out of the stuff at Paper Works. I have the stuff I do with the organizations I started and he stays out of my business. I guess it's never been an issue. We'll have to find another way." Macy took a sip of her drink.

"Let's plan a get together and we can scrutinize how they act when we're all in the same room? Maybe they'll sneak off and we can catch them?" Will felt desperate trying to figure this out.

"That's a thought. It could work. But let's first see if we can catch them. Keep up with their every move without seeming suspicious. Give it about a week and we'll meet back and compare notes. Then we can plan something if we don't have concrete evidence either way," Macy said.

They went home with the intent over the next week to watch Jenna and Darnell and compare notes. Before they left they exchanged cell numbers and began texting later that night. It started something that helped each one to deal with the infidelity of their spouses.

Two nights later Will sent Macy a text.
I'm sitting here in my recliner, it's late, Jenna came home at half past 8 feeling so tired. She had eaten a burger in town, so she says. She's fast asleep. You?

Macy texted back immediately.
Darnell came home and locked himself in the office. I was busy with my work so I just ignored him. I'm sitting at my computer in my office and we're in a standoff to see who will go to bed first because he won't go at the same time.

Will answered back.
That sounds like us too. It sucks.

It took a while and Macy answered.
Darnell finally went to bed. He stopped and asked how much longer I'd be. I'm sure to find out if he still needed to be busy or not. I told him it will be a few minutes.

Will sighed. He and Macy are going through the same exact thing with their spouses.
I'm sorry. Same here. Have a good night. Talk later -

Macy, ever the polite one sent one last text that sent Will into dreams about her.
Good night Will. Maybe we can get together online? It helps just to chat...

Will smiled and sent an answer.
Tomorrow night, 8?

Macy answered.
See you then.

Will and Macy met the following evening online. They each had a web cam and hooked up their headset and enjoyed talking for hours on end. They took advantage of the absence of their spouses and instead of commiserating about the infidelity they just talked.

Jenna and Darnell continued to work late and play evasive. Will looked forward to a face-to-face meeting with Macy at the end of the week. They made it a dinner date knowing full well that both Jenna and Darnell would be otherwise disposed. Sure enough come Friday Jenna had to go out of town with Darnell to help set up training for the new heads of the Georgia plant. Even though they brought several other employees it still looked suspicious.

When Will and Macy met Friday night for supper they both seemed happy just to spend time with each other. The first part of the meal they chatted on as if they were good friends out for an evening of pleasure. Before dessert came they turned the conversation to their current situation.

"The late nights are becoming constant. Darnell tries to avoid being with me. Sex isn't even an issue, its non-existent. I think its moot trying to figure this out like this," Macy said.

"I agree. Let's plan a get together and see how they act. Maybe we can catch them in the act," Will said and they put their heads together coming up with a plan to do just that.
