“You be naked in this bed when I get back tonight,” she’d ordered him.

“Yes, ma’am,” he’d answered, then he’d driven off to do more errands, he’d said.

Rusty used the key Cabe had gotten her to let herself into their motel room. She had to hurry to make the meeting with Tess at the restaurant by seven. So she decided not to wash her hair, but just her body, and she ran into the bathroom.

After her shower she stayed in the bathroom, reapplying her makeup before she opened the bathroom door, while starting to unwind her towel. The room was dark, and it stopped her because she’d left the lights on.

“What the heck,” she muttered.

Then, right over the top of her muttering, she heard a feminine voice saying, “Cabe, baby.” Next Rusty heard the screeched “
What
are you doing in my husband’s room!”

Rusty nearly fell onto her ass with her wild-eyed gaze landing on Vega Santos lying naked in Cabe’s motel room bed. Ohmygod, Vega shaved down there ...
all
of it. Rusty so did not want to have seen that as Vega rolled up onto her knees, not covering her nakedness, and she glared killer eyes at Rusty.

Rusty thought for one second about lying. Like exclaiming that Vega was in the wrong room, but then Rusty got pissed and she stomped to the bed.

“How dare you break in here, Vega. Are you that fucking desperate?”

Vega had looked as if she was going to snarl and attack, but the second Rusty attacked first she looked surprised. “He asked me to meet him here. He wants
me
, not you!”

Oh, Rusty so knew her plan to spill about her new man Cabe at the nail salon had reaped rewards in the fact gossip flew out any nail salon or beauty shop in town and got around like wildfire. Right into little Miss Vega’s ear, apparently.

“You should cover yourself,” Rusty said, ignoring Vega’s obvious lies. She stomped around the bed and found Vega’s discarded clothes and began tossing them at her.

“Don’t tell me what to do, you slut!” Vega cried, wadding the clothes up and tossing them back before she started the worst bout of fake crying Rusty had ever heard.

Rusty shook her head. “That’s so fake, Vega. Didn’t your momma teach you how to fake cry better than that?”

Vega screeched, but kept trying to sob. “I’m married to him. You can’t have him.”

“So why do you keep going to bed with other guys, then?” Rusty asked in a suddenly soft voice.

Vega whined. She’d heard her. “I don’t know!” she wailed. “I can’t stop. But I still love Cabe! I do! I swear I do!”

Rusty made a disgusted sound and grabbed her dress and stalked into the bathroom to put it on. “Well, he can’t stop either, Vega. I’m sure he loves you and all, blah, blah. But he just needs this fling with me. I’m sure you of all people can understand that.”

“He can’t!” she wailed from the bed.

“Oh
you
can but
he
can’t. Yeah, right!” Rusty yelled back as she fitted her killer dress down her hips.

It was a sweet strapless deep pink dress that flared around her hips. The bodice was a bit snug and really did a number on her breasts. Cabe was going to like the dress later on that night when he came to pick her up, because she intended to drink one too many. Especially after Tess heard what had just happened.

“It’s like an addiction. I
need
help. Cabe’s help,” Vega whined while Rusty was putting dangling gold earrings on. Rusty huffed and looked in the mirror over her shoulder. At least it looked like Vega was half dressed as she tried looking helpless with tears running down her cheeks.

“It must be the thrill you are jonesing for,” Rusty stated kind of conversationally while she continued to get ready. “An adrenalin rush for you every time.”

“I never thought of it like that,” Vega sobbed.

Geez, the pathetic little-broken-angel crap was getting to Rusty, and she wondered how Cabe put up with it.

“I need him
so
bad, Rusty. You can’t break up our marriage.”

“Okay,” Rusty said, applying some lipstick. “I’ll give him back to you or whoever when we are done with our smoking-hot affair. Our thrill is still majorly happening. You’d get that—”

Vega made an angry, frustrated sound while Rusty set her lipstick down and fluffed her hair, then she turned and walked past Vega to get her killer heels. They were sparkly Zigi pumps with shiny pink satin uppers embellished with bright rhinestones. Stones also layered the entire five-and-a-half-inch heel and the one-and-a-half-inch double-stacked platform. They were so freaking sexy, they smoked.

Vega had her mouth open, ready to volley more crap, but the minute Rusty hauled out her heels, Vega sputtered, “They’re
gorg
eous!”

Shoes like hers could do that to a person, Rusty thought. “I know,” she whispered.

Vega shook her head of short, dark hair; she was slender, had a pixie cut, and was everything Rusty wasn’t. Since Vega seemed distracted and kind of mesmerized by the shoes, Rusty sat on the bed to put her heels on, and she casually asked, “So how the heck did you get in here? Only you could figure it out.”

Rusty figured complimenting her might get her further.

“I blew the kid at the front desk,” Vega muttered, watching Rusty finish putting on her shoes.

Rusty was kind of disgusted, but she didn’t let it show, as she said gently, “Vega, you’ll have to give me the key back.”

Vega hung her head. “You’re really going out with him tonight, dressed like that?”

Rusty thought her lying was for a good cause. “Yeah, babe. Like I said, we’re still in that adrenalin-lust stage.”

“He’ll come back to me,” Vega said, then she threw a key onto the bed and she turned and grabbed up her stuff. “I can look that sexy,” she declared.

“But why be married when you can play the field?” Rusty called to her retreating back.

“I just
need
him,” Vega muttered as she opened the door.

“It’s
so
unfair to him,” Rusty whispered, and she saw Vega’s troubled looked right before she left and shut the door.

“Whoa,” Rusty exclaimed. “That was
un
real.” She grabbed her purse, her key, and Vega’s extra key and she headed to the door. “I need a freaking drink,” she declared.

Tess was sitting at the bar of the restaurant with a bottle of champagne and two filled glasses of the bubbly when Rusty entered. Rusty wondered about the champagne, because they drank mojitos and Jell-O shots when they went out, but the more important thing she had to get to was how fucking amazing Tess looked. Her babe had been shopping, and had obviously done it with Vincent’s credit card.

“Babe,
oh
mygod!” Rusty exclaimed, walking up and doing a hand sweep of Tess’ outfit and shoes.

Tess grinned as she stood, and she said, “Oh my God!” She swept her hand to indicate Rusty’s shoes.

Rusty hadn’t told her about the purchase yet. It had been a pity purchase right after Cabe snuck out when they’d first combusted together. Obviously, Tess had been holding back on her purchases.

“That’s freaking
Jovani
,” Rusty exclaimed as they hugged.

“I know,” Tess sort of quietly squealed. “Your shoes are
Zigi
Black Label!”

“I know,” Rusty quietly squealed back. “You look hot.”

“You know you do,” Tess told her.

Rusty couldn’t help but drool over Tess’ backless sequin dress. It was sex walking, and she was kind of wondering how Tess had gotten out the door and away from Vincent while wearing it. It was so borrow-zy time. They actually kissed each other’s cheeks—no air kisses—then they both got on the barstools.

“Champagne?” Rusty questioned, setting her clutch purse up on the bar top.

Tess blushed, and that was Rusty’s first clue as she sat forward, feeling something big coming.

Tess grabbed her hand. “I’m getting married, Rusty!”

Rusty squealed like a teenage girl, and she didn’t give a heck that she’d done it as she grabbed Tess close for a hug. “
Oh
my God, I’m so happy for you.”

She heard Tess saying, “They’ll be here soon.”

But Rusty rushed right over the top of Tess’ words. “When, how,
where
?” she asked, and whatever else was said was gone from her thoughts.

“It was about the time you’d just hooked up with Cabe and you were so twisted about it, I didn’t want to distract you,” Tess explained.

Rusty inwardly winced at keeping her best friend out of the loop of her and Cabe being really tight again. Mentally she swore she’d tell Tess later after it wouldn’t overshadow her friend’s exciting news. “I know you said yes, tell me how he did it,” Rusty ordered. She was so happy for Tess she could scream again.

Tess took a sip of her champagne, and with real live sparkles in her eyes, she said, “Well, he kind of didn’t ask, but in that really freaking
hot
way he has ... he
told
me we were.” By the look on Tess’ features Rusty could pretty much bet it happened before, during, or after smoking-hot sex. Now, she understood that being with Cabe. She also totally got the “he told her” part.

“But, Rusty—” Tess grasped her hand with suppressed excitement. “He did it with beads and feathers in his hair, when I came out of the bathroom naked”—she whispered the word
naked
—“he had an amazing blanket thrown over his shoulders that he opened up when he saw me. I just knew to step up to him and he closed the woven blanket around us. That’s when he told me I would marry him and he gave me a piece of silver for the bride’s price.”

“Wow, Tess,” Rusty whispered, then she realized, so she exclaimed, “Where’s the ring!” But then she added, “Unless his tribe doesn’t do rings.”

Tess laughed. “I have a ring I just didn’t want to wear it around until I told you.”

Tears came in Rusty’s eyes. “Oh man, babe,” she whispered at her best friend, who was more like her family, waiting to wear her ring out until she told her.

Rusty stood and bear-hugged Tess again. “I’m so happy for you.”

They went over the marriage proposal-command several times, as best girls will do, and each time they thought it was the best proposal-command ever. Tess asked her to be her maid of honor/bridesmaid. Of course. She said yes. Of course. They drank nearly all the bottle of champagne talking about the wedding, which both Tess and Vincent wanted to be small.

After Rusty was sure Tess’ moment would not be overshadowed, and she might have been a little tipsy when she said it, she leaned forward and whispered in Tess’ ear. “Cabe’s still spanking me, babe.”

“Oh, you’re
so
bad,” Tess exclaimed. “But I kind of know, because they’re coming in the door right now. He will be Vincent’s best man, of course.”

Rusty swung her gaze and legs toward the entrance. She steadied her hand back on the bar, and she wasn’t certain if it was the champagne or seeing two totally hot guys in suits coming her way. If she’d been a little irritated at Cabe keeping this from her, it was wiped away just drooling over him. He’d tamped his dirty blond hair down a little so the ends were riding his broad shoulders, and he had on a charcoal-gray suit with a black dress shirt, and the slacks were belted with a bronze buckle, while Vincent wore a black suit, with some kind of flaming western shirt underneath, and when he reached Tess he took off his black cowboy hat so his inky black hair slid over his shoulders.

Rusty’s gaze was locked on Cabe, but she heard Vincent’s deep voice saying, “Baby, we don’t leave this second, exhibitionism is going to be our new thing in five more seconds with my cock in you in that fucking dress.”

Rusty’s mouth opened in amazement at the same moment she was hauled up against Cabe and right into the line of his hard body.

Rusty heard Tess exclaiming, “Chief!”

Then, as Cabe grasped the back of her head, Rusty saw over his shoulder that Vincent had Tess’ hand and he was pulling her out of the restaurant bar. Tess skipped on her heels after him with a look of excited pleasure on her face. Oh wow, that was
so
hot, Rusty thought, but then Cabe’s mouth was over hers.

Rusty moaned, wrapped her arm up over his shoulder, and out of one eye she saw Tess waving at her right before Vincent tugged her through the doorway. Then Rusty got lost in Cabe’s hot and urgent kiss.

When he finally lifted his lips from her mouth, she was dazed against him, as he murmured against her ear, “Damn, baby, that dress is hot.” He moved against the bar, corralling her in as he looked down her body. “I’m going to need to pay better attention to your tits, boo.” Then he leaned down against her ear while she quivered with lust and he revved her up more, as he growled, “You’re getting my cock in you while you wear nothing but those fucking heels.”

TWELVE ] MOVED ON, SUGGEST YOU DO TOO

H
e and Vincent had talked, and he was glad, Cabe thought, watching Rusty’s stunning cleavage rising up into his truck, where he’d lifted her slightly tipsy booty. Everything about her dressed to cock tease the world of men was making his very hard erection pound. But her fuck-me heels that flipped up when he set her on the seat of his truck—those made his cock even harder.

He’d never felt as charged.

He’d never felt the need to own sweet pussy like he did now, and after his man’s talk with Vincent he’d never felt more ready to man up to his woman. The talk with Vincent had been very enlightening, as Vincent had come clean about driving his sexual life with Tess across new boundaries. And how much Tess liked it.

They’d discussed spanking, and Vincent had said he’d just fallen into it with Tess, but after the first swat it had turned her on so much he’d done it again. Vincent had said by then he was into it and it kept the power shifted between him and Tess, right where he wanted it.

Vincent had also admitted he’d never done anything like it with Luna, but he’d realized meeting Tess that he should have been completely dominant in the bedroom all along. It was what he’d been missing.

Cabe had felt kind of raw hearing that from Vincent, because he was thinking he felt the same way—with the right woman. Vincent agreed that it took the right woman, then they’d talked about how far they should go or had already gone. Vincent said he was pretty damn bossy in bed, with not much compromising, but the key was that Tess was right there with him, but so turned on that he was certain at all times she was getting into it.
