Ramón sat in silence not knowing what he could say. Desiree looked at him and turned towards him.

“I thought you fell asleep on me?”

“
No I just wow I'm sorry you went through that. Where is he now?”

“I don’t know. He got four years for stalking and attempted kidnapping. Once he got out I really didn’t keep tabs or anything.”

She leaned back against him and yawned. Ramón followed suit and laughed.

“
They are contagious aren’t they? You should get into bed.”

“
Can’t we talk a little longer?” she asked not wanting the evening to end. Talking to Ramón was something that made her feel at ease. 

Ramón awoke with a smile on his face as he looked down to a sleeping Desiree. She was curled up on him as they lay next to the fire
which had died down. He kissed her forehead and she stirred a little but not waking. He shook her gently and she glanced up to him sleepily.

“Good morning.”

He smiled at her.

“
Waking up with you cuddled up on me it really is a good morning.”

She beamed at him.

“I can’t believe we slept on the floor.”

“I know we actually fell asleep talking.”

She looked at him not wanting to move but knowing she should. She moved forward but he pulled her back to him.

“Hey, not so fast.” Ramón pulled Desiree up to him and
looked into her eyes.

“I want to kiss you so bad right now.”

Desiree smiled shaking her head.

“I have morning breath and so do you also we need to get to the hospital.”

He moved her closer to him and smirked.

“First the kids are fine if they weren’t my parents would have called. Second.”

He reached his long arm behind him opening a drawer and grabbing a small bottle of mouthwash.

“
If it’s that important here but, you need to swallow because I'm not letting you get up to spit.”

He opened it and took a swig. She laughed following suit. Ramón made a face as he swallowed the mouth wash and so did Desiree. He blew his breath in her face she laughed pushing him away from her. Ramón sighed holding her closer. He looked into her eyes and knew that he was in danger of falling for her and for the first time in his life he wasn’t afraid.

He took her lips in his draping his arms around her waist. She kissed him back wrapping her arms around his neck. As his tongue parted her lips she moaned against him. He ran his hands up his sweatshirt loving the velvety softness of her skin. His hand caressed her breast and she moved allowing him more access.

Ramón pulled her up with him and moved her towards the bed. They fell onto the bed together and she let out a laugh followed by a moan as he moved from her neck to her chest. He took her right
breast into his mouth while pinching and teasing the left. Desiree squirmed beneath him as he made her body sing him praises. He moved his mouth back up to her lips as his left hand travelled down to her thigh. His hand brushed against her center and she pulled her lips from his and sighed.

“Ramón wait.” She whispered half praying he wouldn’t hear her and just keep going.

Ramón peered at her. “I want you so bad.” He breathed.

He buried his head in her neck sighing then stood up.

“But I respect you and what you want.”

He moved from the bed but she pulled him back to her.

“Wait I want to explain something.” She said sitting up pulling at the shirt.

Ok.” He stood folding his arms.

Desiree stood and for the first time actually seeing the difference in their sizes. Seeing his big strong arms folded across his massive chest made her want to kiss every huge inch of him. She sighed heavily. “Ramón I was a virgin when I married Charles. And I haven’t been with anyone since the divorce.”

Ramón allowed the shock to overtake him for only a moment. He sat next to her on the bed and cleared his throat.

“
So nothing in over seven years?”

“I believe in making love not having sex. Which is why once I fell out of love
with Charles we stopped all together.” She said looking at the ground.

“
Do you never had the urge?” he questioned and she laughed looking at him.

“
Of course I have I am normal.”

“
So what do you do?”

“
Honestly…I have my bullet.”

“
Do I even want to know what that is?”

“
No but let me explain this to you…I want you more than I have ever wanted any guy but I don’t want to be another notch on your belt.” She looked up from the floor and gazed right into his deep brown eyes.

“
Is that what you think? That what we have shared last night and what I want from you was nothing but to get into your pants?” her heart stung at the hurt in his voice.

She shrugged and he pulled her closer to him.

“I am going to be honest with you. It’s been two years for me. And I know a lot of men in general are just looking for a quick fix but honestly and please don’t take this the wrong way if I wanted someone to just have sex with there are girls in lines waiting for the say so but I want more than that. I want you.”

She stared at him and he pulled her from the bed.

“Just think about what I said I'm going to grab our clothes and we can head to the hospital. I hung your dress up so I’m sure its dry.”

He kissed her forehead and then walked out the room. Desiree stood looking after him then grabbed her phone off of the side table. She sighed seeing seven fifteen on the screen. As she dialed
Nikki she sighed wondering what she should do. Nikki picked up on the third ring.

“Well
it’s about time you called me back.” Nikki said with a hint of sarcasm.

“I know I am sorry about that.” Desiree replied.

“So how was it?”

“
How was what?”

“
Please I know you gave it up. It’s been too damn long for a fine man like that to come onto you and you say no.” Nikki said half joking.

“I did say no.”

Nikki sat in silence for only a moment. “You are telling me that a fine six foot plus sexy ass man came onto you and you turned him down?” she asked shocked.

“Nikki you know how I feel about sex.”

“I know how you feel about killing helpless animals but you’re still a meat eater.” Nikki said smartly.

“
Funny, it was nice though, he was so understanding which makes me want him even more. We stayed up all night just talking about anything and everything. It was fun and nice and so romantic…and I like him so much and I just couldn’t bear the thought of him getting sex from me then walking away.”

Do you think he would do that?”

“I did at first and now I realize he is not that kind of guy. He
respects me and my wishes and now my wish is to mount him like a tiger and give him some sex therapy.”

Nikki laughed. “Channeling Robin Thicke damn you do want him. So what are you gonna do?” she asked wondering what would come of her best friend and this situation.

“Well I am going to go see my son and probably come home.”

“
You know I love you Desi and I would never tell you to do something crazy but think about it like this, if on the off chance you and he stop talking today as you board a plane and head back here. Do you really want to come back here never having slept with that man of your dreams?”

Desiree knew
Nikki was right. “No I don’t but I don’t want to be a slut.”

“
Seven damn years girl you’re not a slut.”

“I think he is coming I gotta go I will call you
ASAP. Love ya.”

Before Nikki could reply she hung up. Ramón knocked on the door before entering a few seconds later.

“Here you go one you get dressed we can head out. I called my mom she said they are still sleep.” He said with a warm smile.

Desiree took the dress and Ramón turned to walk away. While a part of her wanted him to leave a bigger part of her wanted him to stay. She wanted
to feel him all over her. Tonight she would most likely be on a plane back home and from there may never hear from him again so what would it hurt if they were careful and safe. Two consenting adults looking for a little release.

“Ramón wait.”

He turned to her and she moved closer to him until she was in front of him looking at his chest. She looked up to him and loved the way he looked down to her. Making her feel safe and beautiful.

“Kiss me.”

Ramón frowned.

“I want to I really do but if I do I
won’t stop there.”

She reached for his hand and pulled him to the bed. “Good.”

She sat on the bed pulling him down with her and took his lips to hers. Ramón let out a slight moan as she gently bit his bottom lip. The sudden need to feel all over her was apparent and he could no longer resist. He repositioned her to her back on top of the pillow and moved his hands up her soft legs to her center. She moaned as his fingers brushed across it. He kissed a trail back down to her stomach as he pulled his shorts off of her and tossed them aside. In Desiree’s mind, she stopped the madness again before it continued. Her mind was screaming stop but her body yearned for his touch.

As he rained kisses down her neck, he pulled up the sweatshirt she was wearing and exposed her big beautiful breast.
