as

husband's

As
unbelievable
as
it
sounds,
I
could
tell
that
by
some
miracle
they
all
approved,

Perhaps
because

was

completely

and

very

but

enough,

when

looked
in

New

falling

Although
Teddy
never
showed
up
,
the
six
of
us
enjoyed
a
wonderful
meal,
good
conversation
and
the
warmth
of
good
friends.
As
the
old
year
faded
away
and

new
year
began,

friends

year
began
so

It
was
approximately
two
o'clock
in

morning

heard

noise

first
I
was convinced that

was
dreaming
so

rolled
over
and

in

arms.
Still
soundly
asleep

did
not
stir

inch.
Just
as

settled
in
to
fall
back
to
sleep
I
heard
more
noise
and
people
talking.

as

disturbance

the
conversation
continued.

and
then

as

watched

get
ready
to
