Evasive,
but effective she was.

“Been
together? You mean have we fucked?” The frustration in Gage’s tone was
intensifying the more he spoke. “No, we haven’t. Not yet.”

While
no one said a word, Travis flipped Gage’s words over in his mind.
Not yet
.

“And
yes, before you ask, I want to. As much as I want to be with you again.”

Although
Travis still had a hard time hearing that the two of them had been together, he
was more focused on what else Gage was hinting at. Between the two of them,
they’d practically laid out the red carpet and welcomed Kylie to what would be
one hell of a threesome.

“Does
it scare you?” Travis chose to cut back in on the conversation. He didn’t do
well with being left out. Apparently.

“What?”
Kylie turned to face him, her eyes wide as though she just realized he was
still there. She was breathless.

“That
Gage and I want you. That we want each other. That given half a chance, we’d have
you naked and screaming our names right here in the front seat.”

This
time, her sharp inhale said his words were a direct hit, but she pulled the
whole open/close mouth thing a couple of times before she flicked her gaze to
the front window.

Travis
figured the subject was closed. He was resigning himself to suffering for the duration
when Kylie spoke up again.

“I
would never be your play thing, Travis. Not again.”

Fury
erupted in his veins, and without thinking, Travis reached over and lifted her up
and onto his lap before he cupped her face in his hands, staring deep into her
eyes as he spoke, “
Never
let me hear you say that again. You were never
my play thing, Kylie. Never. Nor would you be now. What I felt for you, I’ve
never felt for anyone else. For fuck’s sake, have you not figured it out yet?
You’re the only woman I’ve ever loved.” The truth rushed out of him and for a
second Travis wanted to grab the words and pull them back.

The
only problem, he knew he never could.

Chapter Twenty One

♀♂♂

Kylie
was having trouble breathing, and it had nothing to do with the fact that the
cab of the truck was humid from the sweltering Texas summer. The warmth from
Travis’ hands on her face was doing strange things to her insides, as was his
erection pressing against her bottom as she sat on his lap. His words weren’t
helping ease the growing ache either.

For
fuck’s sake, have you not figured it out yet? You’re the only woman I’ve ever
loved.

Then
again, maybe it was the oppressive heat that was making her commons sense shaky.
Shouldn’t she be trying to pull away from him? Or perhaps ignoring what he was
telling her? How had they ventured onto this subject in the first place?

She
was about ready to set fire to the jumbled mess of
what if’s
taking up
residence in her brain.
What if
she were to see where this went?
What
if
she liked being the object of their affection? Both of them?
What if
she could have an explosive orgasm by watching the two of them together?

And
what about when Travis had been describing the scenes at the resort? The more graphic
he was, the more she found she liked it. So,
what if
she wanted to be
one of the voyeurs?

Yep,
one too many forming as she sat stone still, unable to look away from Travis.

But
then a sensible thought interrupted the overtly sexual scenarios that were
playing on fast forward behind her eyelids: What made Travis think she was any
different now than she was back then?

It
was true, Kylie wasn’t the sexually adventurous type, although she wasn’t entirely
reserved either. She’d never engaged in a threesome, never had anyone watch her
having sex or vice versa. She’d also never dated two men at the same time, so
she probably qualified as more prudent than daring. That didn’t mean her skin
wasn’t suddenly feeling a little too small for her body, or that she wasn’t
attuned to what the two of them were offering.

Seriously?
Was she rationalizing being with them at the same time? Ok, yes. It would seem
so. She was pretty sure she could thank her longstanding sexual drought for steering
her in this direction.

From
an emotional standpoint, Kylie had everything to lose because no matter how
physically drawn to them she was, or how much her body was begging her to take
what they offered, she wasn’t the casual type. She had a feeling that
relationships of this type didn’t work in real life, which was one of the main
reasons Travis had never found what he was looking for. And what about the jealousy
she’d felt earlier? Or her anger. Where the hell had all that gone?

From
a physical standpoint, well, her clit was throbbing and her breasts suddenly
felt heavy. Yup, she’d moved past desire and right over to horny without
passing go, and she was pretty close to being drunk on lust.

The
situation as she saw it was one she didn’t necessarily want to get out of. They
were in Gage’s truck on a secluded back road hidden from prying eyes, and each
one of them had more than enough reason to shed their clothes and move on to
the good stuff. Seriously, they were still wet from the rain. Wasn’t that a
valid excuse?

Kylie
mentally threw her hands up and grabbed her head, trying to hold her common
sense inside because it was quickly leaking right out of her ears and forming a
puddle at their feet.

“What’s
going on in that brain of yours?” Travis asked as he obviously waited for her
to respond. After all, he had made a rather significant declaration, hadn’t he?

As
if she would tell him. Not only had he told her that she was the only woman he
had ever loved, but there was an overwhelming attraction that neither of them
could deny. And oddly enough, it went three ways. What were the odds of that
happening?

It
would make sense if this was some sort of convoluted love triangle where Kylie
wanted to be with Gage, and she also wanted to be with Travis. And it would
even make sense if Travis lusted after Gage and vice versa… Ok yes, she was
guilty of fantasizing about the two of them together, once just as recent as
five minutes ago when she stared up at the ceiling, hoping to calm herself
down. And no, for the record,
that
hadn’t worked. Picturing two strong,
handsome cowboys ripping one another’s clothes off in the process of getting
closer had the opposite effect than what she was aiming for.

She
had to suppress a strangled laugh because she couldn’t believe she was
considering this. Kylie darted a glance over at Gage and found him staring back
at the two of them, his mouth a thin, hard line.

“If
you’re waiting for me to say please…” Gage’s words sounded restrained, like he
wasn’t sure he should say anything, lest break the spell and they’d wake up to
find that none of this had happened.

Kylie
knew exactly what that felt like.

When
Travis’ hands moved up to her hips, Kylie brought her face back to his.

“You
want this?” Travis asked.

Kylie
nodded almost immediately, like her head was on a spring. Ok, so apparently her
hormones had won.

The
heat of his hands on her sides damn near scorched her. The way his thumbs
brushed gently over her stomach had her body singing high notes as she lost
herself in his eyes.

“This
isn’t a game, Kylie.”

She
watched Travis’ mouth move, hanging on to the words as best she could. She
wasn’t playing games so he had nothing to worry about. She couldn’t get the
words out though.

“Are
you prepared to see this all the way through?” Gage broke the trance she seemed
to be consumed in as the steering wheel banged upward, no longer locked in position,
but rather giving him more room to move.

Kylie
glanced back and forth between the two men. It was now or never. All or
nothing. And the rest of those pointless dichotomies.

“Answer
the question, Kylie,” Travis demanded, his fingers tightening slightly on her
sides.

“Yes.”

“Yes?”

Damn
them. Why did they both insist that she spell this stuff out? It was difficult
enough just to be here, her body adjusting to a slow burn from the inside out.
“I’m not interested in casual, Travis. If you knew anything about me, you’d
know that.”

At
least she’d put it out there. Knowing that they weren’t interested in a quick,
wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am made her feel slightly more at ease. She could try and
make this all seem so physically appealing, but when it came down to it, Kylie
didn’t care if she was with Travis or Gage or both of them at the same time. It
wouldn’t be casual on her part. And no matter what she tried to tell herself,
she was going to be attached to both of them equally before all was said and
done.

Hell,
she’d slept with Gage one time, and she was pretty sure she already loved him.
Again, sex wasn’t casual on her part. Never had been. Of course, it was no
secret that she still longed for Travis after all this time.

Gage
surprised her when he caught her chin with his fingers, gently turning her to
face him before pressing his mouth to hers. She was still sitting on Travis’
lap, but Gage was now much closer than before. While her traitorous body
ignited, flames licking deep in her core, she wrapped her arms around his neck,
pulling him closer, all the while she was totally aware of Travis’ hands
gliding tentatively up and down her sides.

She
allowed the warmth of Gage’s mouth, the meticulous penetration of his tongue,
to take her mind off of everything that happened over the last couple of hours
and she resigned herself to following this through. Right, wrong or
indifferent, Kylie wanted this.

The
tickle of her hair as Travis pushed it back over her shoulder sent a shiver
across her skin. She couldn’t focus as he shifted, leaning forward and pressing
his lips to her neck while her tongue was still searching Gage’s mouth.

Jeeezus!
Oh, God! Oh, God! Oh…

The
sensation was glorious. Two men, four hands, two mouths, all focused on her.
Her body was aflame, and her mind was in turmoil as she tried to focus on both
men at the same time. She couldn’t. She couldn’t figure out where the pleasure
was coming from, but she knew it was overwhelming her to the point she feared
she might just explode. And she didn’t want it to stop.

“I’ve
dreamt about this,” Gage whispered as he feathered kisses over her lips,
cradling her face in both of his big, callused hands. “I’ve fantasized about tasting
you again.”

Kylie
stared into Gage’s mocha brown eyes, wishing he would stop talking and put his
mouth back on hers. The words he spoke made her body throb and the feel of
Travis’ warm mouth as he sucked on her skin had her sex clenching painfully.
Oh,
hell.

She
was beyond drunk on passion, consumed by a lust-induced high, so much so that
if they even thought about stopping, she might just lose it.

♂♀♂

Gage
wanted to drive his tongue deep into Kylie’s mouth, to savor her sweetness, but
as he caught sight of Travis sliding his tongue over her delicate skin, he
found himself caught up in watching the way he savored the taste of her. It was
the sexiest thing he’d ever seen and admittedly, this wasn’t new to him.

Well,
the three person involvement wasn’t new to him. But the urgent need to have
Travis’ tongue on him was. It had been a long time since Gage had been involved
with another man other than the prelude with Travis that had led them to this
point. Years. For the longest time, he’d restricted himself to threesomes with
Kaleb because he didn’t have to worry about the temptation. He wasn’t
interested in his friend like that, and he knew Kaleb wasn’t interested in men.

And
then when he’d joined Club Destiny as a necessity for his job, Gage had only
experimented a little, never having intercourse with a man while he was there.
More blow jobs and hand jobs than anything else. But with Travis...
Fucking hell.
Gage wanted Travis – all of him – with a desperation that defied logic.

Kylie’s
harsh breaths brought his attention back to her, and he slid his tongue between
her lips again, over her teeth and then deeper until her eager little tongue
met his, dueling with a passion he hadn’t expected. With her arms wrapped
around his neck, pulling him closer, Gage was hard pressed not to pull her off
of Travis and into his lap so he could grind his iron hard dick against her,
knowing she’d be smoking hot and ready for him.

Within
seconds, she’d stolen every ounce of his sanity as she tried to pull them both
closer, removing one of her arms from his neck and wrapping it around Travis,
holding him to her as he continued to suck on the delicate skin of her neck.

She
was the one to break away, and she eased back a little which caused Travis to
pull back. “I need more,” she whispered, her breath coming in urgent gulps. “I
want…”

“What
do you want, Kylie?” Travis urged when she let the sentence trail off.

“I
want to see you kiss him,” she replied, and Gage wasn’t sure he could be more
surprised than he was.

Gage
locked eyes with Travis, leaving the next move up to him. It wasn’t as if the man
were going to give up control and Gage was ok with that. For now.

Watching
as Travis searched Kylie’s face briefly, Gage focused on breathing. In. Out.
Again. Just when doubt started to settle in, the earth shifted beneath him, and
Gage growled as Travis’ mouth claimed his. Their tongues lashed at one another
while Kylie’s fingers threaded into the hair at Gage’s nape. He pictured her
doing the same to Travis as she watched them. The mental image kicked things up
a notch, and Gage growled into Travis’ mouth, praying he wasn’t going to stop.

There
was nothing gentle about the way Travis kissed him, but Lord have mercy, he
didn’t want gentle when it came to Travis. The way their lips pressed together
was brutal and punishing and fucking fantastic. Travis owned the kiss and Gage
let him take the reins because his brain cells weren’t functioning. Travis’ tongue
was warm and insistent, his hand firm on his neck as he held him close, a frenzy
of teeth and lips and tongues as they devoured one another.

“Oh,
God,” Kylie breathed the words, her fingers tightening in his hair, her body
moving, adjusting so she was damn near in both of their laps.

He
wanted her naked. Hell, he wanted all of them naked. Gage wanted to feel her
teeth against his nipples as Travis made love to his mouth with his wicked
tongue.

Travis
pulled back reluctantly, and they both looked to Kylie, but she seemed just as
excited by watching them as she had been when Gage had kissed her. As expected,
Travis didn’t give them much time to recover before he jerked Kylie to him,
their mouths fusing as Gage watched. The sight was so damn erotic, the two of
them only inches away, the soft moans that Kylie made. Shit, if they kept this
up, they were likely to rock the truck off of its axles.

Apparently,
ten years were too long to go without the taste of something so familiar and
Travis seemed to be making up for lost time. Gage knew all too well because it
had only been a couple of months for him, and he was eager for more. The one time
with Kylie hadn’t been nearly enough.
