“Yep. That’s it. I can never remember what it’s called. Big long name. Mine isn’t bad enough to take aspirin or anything, but that’s it.”

“My sister has to take the aspirin every day.” He smiled. “Have a nice night.”

“You, too,” replied Lana as they walked out and she shut the door, leaning back against it. “Oh shit!”

Rolf strode over, standing directly in front of her. Lana glanced down. “It’s still hard?”

“Yeah. I kept thinking about that sexy waffled bruise on your thigh. Of course, every once in a while, I would give it a couple of strokes. That helped.”

“Are you upset about Jessica?”

“I should be, huh? I’m honestly not. I may have loved her once, but that was a long time ago. We weren’t even really friends anymore. I was angry because she tried to ruin my life. I didn’t wish her dead, but there isn’t much I can do about the fact that she is. She has no family. All I can do is pay for a place to put her ashes.” He shook his hair down over his eyes, gazing at her intensely. “You, however, are very much alive, and watching the officer drool over you only made me hornier.”

He wrapped the back of her head with his hand, drawing her forward and into a heavy kiss. The doorbell rang again and he leaned back, grunting in frustration. “Get the damn door. I need to go hide my staff.”

“Saber, dear.”

“What the fuck ever.” He walked uncomfortably across the kitchen, and Lana turned, grasping the door.

She tugged it open, trying to hide the pain of using her bad shoulder as she smiled. “Yes, officer.”

“Are you okay?”

“My knee,” she lied.

“I seem to have dropped my pen.” He gestured to the table. “May I go get it?”

“Of course.” Lana leaned back against the divider, grinding her teeth. The officer walked back to her.

“I find it slightly odd that you are still wearing those gloves. Would you mind taking them off?”

“As a matter of fact, I would. I still haven’t finished my dishes.”

He frowned. “I’m sorry, but due to the fact that there is an abuse complaint on record, I would really like to look at your hands and your wrists.”

“That complaint was bogus. It was filed by my greedy stepdaughter in hope of discrediting me.”

He stood his ground. “Please take the gloves off, Mrs. Manard.”

She pursed her lips, smiling guiltily. “I suppose if I must. This is slightly embarrassing, but that’s what I get for asking Rolf to handcuff me.”

The officer blinked, staring at her. “Excuse me?”

“My late husband bought me a pair of handcuffs because I always wondered what the deal was with being shackled to the bed. He got too sick to ever use them. Before he died, he asked me to seek oblivion in his brother’s arms. I needed oblivion and convinced Rolf to handcuff me. I will think twice before doing that again.”

She tore one of the gloves off and the officer looked at the perfectly outlined red-and-purple bruise forming on her wrist. He smiled. “Oh. That is obviously not a handprint. I will keep this to myself. Thank you for your honesty. Good night, Mrs. Manard.” He walked out the door, and Lana shut it, fighting to stifle her laughter.

Rolf lifted her in his arms and kissed her. “I don’t believe you did that. I was sitting there envisioning myself getting arrested. That was hysterical.”

“That was a hundred unspoken acts of humiliation. I told him that your brother asked me to have sex with you. I told him that we had sex while I was in handcuffs. I’m sure they know that your brother hasn’t even been dead a week.”

He set her to the floor. “My poor baby. This has been a really tough day for you, huh?”

“I’ve had better days, well, unless we are discussing sex. Then it was a great day.”

His smile warmed her, and she stroked back his hair. She glanced down and noticed that he no longer had a tent within his robe.

“Jail didn’t do much for my mood.”

“I see that. Oh. By the way, can you pick another term of endearment for me? I have an issue with being called a baby. It has way too many bad undertones related to lack of respect.”

Rolf considered what she was saying and nodded. “I never thought of it that way, but I suppose you’re right. I’ll think of something.”

“Thank you.” Rolf walked into the living room, dropping down on the sofa. Lana frowned and went to take the dishes out of the sink to put them away. When she returned to the sofa, Rolf had his eyes closed, and she thought that he was sleeping. She shrugged, going to the coffee table to get the remote, but it wasn’t where she had left it. She looked at Rolf and saw that it was resting on his chest. She reached down to get it, and he grabbed her good arm, sitting up and snatching her off her feet. Lana sprawled on top of him.

He laughed. “You didn’t honestly think I would fall asleep, did you?”

“I don’t know. I figured that you were tired.”

“I’m not that tired. I was just thinking.”

“About what?”

“About you, about us. About my brother.”

“Okay. Are you going to enlighten me or just leave it at that?”

“Not right now. I simply want you lying on top of me. It feels really good.”

She leaned and kissed the tip of his nose as he wrapped his arms around her. He was right. It felt wonderful to lie on top of him. It felt safe and normal. Lana laid her head down on his shoulder, inhaling the scent of his skin. Time seemed to drift into nothingness, and she was awoken by pain. She groaned and Rolf asked sleepily, “What’s wrong?”

“My shoulder. Lying on my stomach like this is making it hurt.”

He released her, and Lana slid to the side, standing up. She groaned, rotating her arm and grimacing. Rolf flipped to his ass and stood up. He did an assessment of her upper arm and shoulder and shrugged. “I don’t feel anything abnormal. How much does it hurt?”

“It just feels stiff and sore, nothing more.”

He walked into the kitchen, taking the massage cream from the cabinet. “Come on, let’s go to bed. I’ll rub it down and see if it helps.”

She nodded, walking into the bedroom. Rolf slid her robe off and she sat, spinning around with her legs loosely crossed. Rolf sat behind her, massaging her shoulder with the peppermint and menthol cream. The scent of the herbs filled the air and stung her eyes, but the soreness faded. She flexed her shoulders and neck, moaning softly. “That stuff is amazing. It feels better.”

“My massage was amazing. Would you like a real one?”

“I would love that.”

“Then lie down and I will show you bliss.” Rolf slid back, and Lana shifted around and dropped back onto the bed, repositioning herself so he could rub her back. He straddled her legs, dripping vanilla cream down her spine. Beginning just below where he had applied the peppermint gel, Rolf kneaded her skin, concentrating on any knots or tight areas. He moved downward, leisurely caressing her and relaxing her muscles. He slid back farther, rubbing her hips and ass before moving down to her legs. He stopped at her ankles, kissing the soles of her feet with small, soft pecks, and then sucked her big toe into his mouth, nibbling on it. A surprised moan escaped her open mouth as he moved to the next toe and ran his tongue over it. Each consecutive toe sent another jarring bolt through her, her groin aching. She couldn’t see him, and she was afraid to push upward with her arm to reposition herself. Rolf was purring, clearly enjoying tormenting her. When he reached her little toe, he commented, “Are you aware that some women have no nail on their little toe, well they do, but it is so small it is barely noticeable? You have adorable toes. Feel good?”

Lana groaned. “Feels really weird and very amazing.”

He chuckled. “Roll over.”

Rolf filled his palm with oil and then began at her ankles, slowly working his way up her calf. He hesitated, his mouth pursed into almost a scowl. Lana puffed her lips into a dramatic pout. “What’s wrong? Have you suddenly decided that you don’t like looking at me?”

“Of course not. I was just thinking that you are a damn black-and-blue mess. I think we should cool it with the rough play for a while.”

Lana sighed. “I guess.”

His fingers continued upward to her thighs with gentle pressure. He was watching her face intently, and Lana had to wonder if he was waiting for her to grimace in pain. She didn’t, his touch feeling wonderful. He pushed her legs apart with his hands and then crawled up between them, leering down at her. “Are you enjoying this?”

“Yes. Very much.”

He shifted forward, leaning and gently kissing her lips. Lana tried to engage his tongue, but he pulled back, grinning at her. “Am I arousing you?”

She hesitated to reply, but when he raised his eyebrows, tilting his head in a gesture of impatience, she nodded. “Of course you are. You always arouse me.”

“Wise answer. Do you want me?”

“Only if you want me.”

He sat back, considering her, and she had to wonder what his game was. If he was still in a mood to be controlling, then she had left the final decision up to him. If he wasn’t, then he might get up and walk away. “Do I want you? That is a trick question with an obvious answer. I want you too much. The whole time I was in California, all I wanted was to be with you. It fucks up my head how much I want you.”

“I don’t know how to reply to that. I missed you so much while you were gone. It seemed like an eternity and it was barely more than twenty-four hours. I was considering where to sleep, and the minute I lifted your pillow, the smell made me feel even lonelier. I ended up taking it out onto the sofa and curling up with it.”

Rolf dropped to his elbows, hovering inches over her. He nipped her nose. “I can’t understand how the hell I am so in love with you. I have never felt this strongly about anyone. When I was lying on the sofa, it hit me how jealous I am that you love my brother. That is so wrong. He was understanding and generous, and I am jealous.”

She reached up, her fingers twining in his hair as she looked at him. “Don’t be. You have what you wanted. I love you more now.”

His reply was a ravenous kiss, his hands clutching the sides of her head. He moved them downward, wiggling them under her back and pulling her upward as he sat back on his knees. Rolf shifted to the side, swinging his legs around so he could sit cross-legged. He wiggled his eyebrows and gestured her closer with his fingertip. Lana slid forward, taking care not to stress her shoulder or knees as she did so. Rolf lifted her by the cheeks of her ass, moving her up onto his legs. “This is one of my favorite positions. I can look into your eyes and my hands are free to stroke you as I care to.”

“I have no complaints.” Her fingers trailed over his growing erection, her eyes locked on his face.

“Good.” Lifting her, he brought her closer to his chest, lowering her as he licked upward, capturing her nipple between his lips and caressing it softly with his tongue.

His entry was controlled, each tiny particle of his cock filling her, agonizingly slowly, pushing her pussy’s mouth open, stroking the flickering nerves, her muscles expanding around him. Lana arched her back as Rolf continued to lick her, nipping and sucking on her skin as if she were covered in sweetness.

Lana’s hands were free to explore his hair, long and silky in her fingers as she twisted the stands.

Rolf’s tongue trailed upward across her throat, over her chin, following her curves until he reached her mouth. Pulling back slightly, he whispered, “I want you too much!”

She opened her eyes to look at him, seeing the same longing gaze that she had seen on Enar’s face that first night in the restaurant. A twinge of grief briefly touched her, and then Lana smiled. “Same here.”

Rolf released his grasp, and she dropped over him, her pussy throbbing, complaining, as she was again overwhelmed by the size of him. Digging his fingers into her hips, he pushed her down, his mouth open before he gritted his teeth. “You feel amazing. I love how wet and reactive you always are.”

“What can I say? You do that to me.”

Latching onto his scalp, Lana pulled him toward her, kissing him, her tongue demanding. He lifted her and then released her again, letting gravity do half the work. It was uncontrolled, his mouth enveloping hers, the slight flex of his hips taking her higher. Her pussy twitched, slowly at first and then more rapidly as he continued to move. Rolf shifted her forward and back, lifting, falling, the friction from his dick so great she was overheating, her wetness doing nothing to cool the growing burn.

His arms felt like rocks beneath soft skin, hard and shifting as she traced them with her palms. His chest moved against her breasts as his breaths grew more rapid, his eyes burning into her as he leaned back and then again drew her to his mouth. Rolling her hips, Rolf pushed her beyond the realm of oblivion. Lana screamed, her fingers digging into his shoulders, her mouth open as she slammed around him.

Rolf held her taut, her hips struggling to flex against his grasp, her eyes pleading with him as wave after wave of sensation rolled over him, her entire body quivering. Flashes of heat flowed through him, a snarl of pleasure echoing through the bedroom, colliding with her cries until they both collapsed flat to the mattress.

Lana snuggled to his chest, her head in the crook of his neck. Rolf kissed the top of her hair, stroking her gently with his fingertips as their breathing calmed.

The position seemed so natural and comforting that Lana hoped they would have a long future to cuddle after sex, but she had no idea if that would ever happen.

Chapter 14

The phone rang, starling Lana from sleep. She was still lying on Rolf’s chest, and when she leaned up, grabbing the receiver, she was almost unable to speak. Rolf’s cock was still at the ready, buried deep within her. “Hello,” she squeaked.

“Lana, how are things?” asked Lee.

She tried to lift herself, and Rolf grabbed her, wrapping his arms tightly around her. “Stay!” he commanded. “Who is on the phone?”

“It’s Lee.”

“Rolf is home?”

“Yeah, he came back yesterday.”

“What happened with the woods?”

“Big mess. I’ll tell you about it when you get home.”

“Okay. What about the issue in town?”
