Sally pushed her way through, wheeling a suitcase behind her.

Sally was so dark and exotic, and her skin so smooth and flawless. Her hair was long and straight, and she had a presence about her that you knew you should be impressed even if you didn’t know why.

Sally immediately hugged Natasha upon entering the house. “I am sorry your friend was turned like this. I know it can be hard.”

“Thank you. It is.”

Sally looked at Natasha, and her face turned suddenly sympathetic. “You look injured.”

“I was hurt, but I am healing slowly. A neck break kinda sucks.”

“Just tell me where the child is and I will find my way.”

“Downstairs in the basement. Vampire proof room; it locks, so don’t let the door close behind you.”

“Thank you,” Sally said, finding her way to the basement.

Natasha slowly walked back to the couch as Tanek came out with another warm mug of blood. Natasha’s mouth was already watering. She grabbed the mug and drank it down just as quickly as the last one. “Sally is here. She went down to start helping with Maureen.”

“Do you want me to help you go down and see her?”

“I think I will wait and see what Sally says about her condition.”

Maureen awoke with the most horrific pain she had ever remembered having; even worse than when her brother knocked a souvenir bowling pin on her head that required fifteen stitches. She looked down at her arm, and saw an IV was running a yellowish liquid to her veins. A dark skinned woman smiled at her and wiped her forehead with a cool cloth.

“Hello dear, I am Sally. The IV will take the edge off the pain. I will run another IV that will give you the extra blood you need.”

“What happened? I remember being chained up in a house, but that is all I can remember.”

“I don’t know, child, I just got here. I am here to help, because you are going through a vampire turning.”

Maureen felt the pain lessen a bit, but she still muffled a scream as the pain radiated through her body. It could not be; she could not be a vampire. She liked vampires, her best friend was one, but Maureen just could not handle vampire life.

“Why?!” she screamed. “Why did this happen?”

Sally took Maureen and embraced her. “Because it was your fate. Do not deny what the gods and goddesses have chosen for you. When I was first turned, I prayed for death, but then a god came to me. Do you know what that god told me?”

Maureen shook her head, unable to speak.

“My god told me it was my fate. My fate had changed and I should embrace what had been given to me. Since then I have tried to make an impact on the world for the better.”

Maureen listened to Sally. She couldn’t help but think she must be very old to be so wise. “Okay, Sally. I will try.”

“That’s my girl. If you like, I could be your mother.”

Maureen looked at Sally, not sure what she was asking.

“Your sire is dead, Godfryd. You need someone to guide you, to teach you. I am very old and have done this before. If you would like, when this is over, you can leave with me and I will help you to learn the ways of being a vampire.”

“I want Natasha to teach me.”

Sally nodded. “I will bring her down. How are you feeling?”

“Much better. It still hurts, but much more bearable.”

“Excellent. Rest. I will be back soon to check on you.”

“Thank you, Sally,” Maureen called after her as she heard the unmistakable click of the lock.

Chapter 37

Natasha’s Past

Natasha woke in excruciating pain. The last thing she remembered was being beaten unconscious by one of the men. Now she was in pain, screaming. She looked around, but had no idea where she was. It was dark almost completely black, but her eyes started to adjust to the dark, and she realized she was in a cave. The smell of the damp rock permeated the air, and she could hear the dripping of water in the distance. She heard footsteps and saw Godfryd. She was relieved, but that was short lived as the pain traveled through every cell in her body. She screamed and yelled. The pain hurt so bad; she wanted to know what was happening to her.

“Please help me, it hurts so bad,” she moaned through her screams.

“Natasha, this will hurt. It will hurt bad, but it will be worth it. You are transforming into a vampire. I found you, almost near death. I had to save you.”

Natasha listened to the words, but it made no sense. Vampire? “What are you talking about?”

“Listen to me,.” Godfryd growled. “I have turned you into a vampire like me. You are mine now. I am your sire and you are commanded to do whatever I ask. I will return in two days when the pain has passed, and I will bring you a human to feed on.

“Godfryd, please hold me, I’m so scared.”

“Don't be childish; tough it out.”

Natasha didn’t understand. They had relations. She thought he loved her.

“I did what I had to do before turning you. Unfortunately, you were killed before I was ready. Regardless, what is done is done and now we have each other for eternity.”

Natasha watched Godfryd leave her, shivering with pain on the floor. How could he? She felt so used, so betrayed.

Tanek opened the door to find Krispin standing there with two other of his officers. He stepped aside, letting them inside. Sally sat with Natasha on the couch, and Krispin and his men remained standing.

“Thank you for letting us disturb you when you are still recovering.”

“It’s not like we had a choice,” Tanek responded rudely.

“Tanek, please,” Natasha scolded. “Please, officers, continue.”

“I just need more details to get the paperwork completed and everyone can move past it.”

Sally, who had been quiet for the most part, spoke up. “Tell me, officer, do you normally bother people so soon after a traumatic incident?”

“And exactly who are you, ma’am?

“I am Sally, a friend from Detroit. I’m here to help Natasha get through this.”

“Can I get your given name, ma’am, for my records?”

“Saliahah, no last name.”

Tanek noticed that Krispin suddenly became very interested in Sally.

“You’re an ancient?”

“Gah, I hate that term. Why does it matter?”

“I like to keep track of the vampires coming in and out of my area. I’m also putting together a database.”

“Yes, some would call me an ancient one, but it doesn’t really matter. We are all vampire, and that is what matters.”

“Thank you, Sally,” Krispin responded.

Krispin turned around to the officers with him, neither of which had spoken one word. “Guys, wait outside.” They nodded and left. He found a seat on one of the vacant chairs. “Now, why don’t you tell me more about you and Godfryd?”

“He was an ancient tyrant, and he wanted me back after he released me. Then the crazy bastard had his minion, some guy named Shane, kidnap my best friend, Maureen. I know Godfryd better than anyone, so I tracked him down to where he was hiding out. Shane snapped my neck. I was out cold. That’s all I remember.”

Tanek took her and hugged her. “It’s over now.”

“I know, I know,” she answered.

“Okay, so who is Shane?” Krispin asked.

“He was one of Godfryd’s children, I think,” Natasha answered. “I was trying to free Maureen when she told me he had been hanging around her for a while and then took her from the bar where we went to have drinks.”

“I found them both unconscious,” Tanek added. “Godfryd almost killed me, but Blake managed to stake him before he could finish me off.”

“Blake stopped by earlier; he told me.” He stood. “Well, I think I have most of the details I need to finish my report. Thank you for cooperating.”

“So Mr....”

“It’s Krispin Cortina, but please just Krispin.”

“Well, Krispin, what do you plan on doing about the other man, Shane? It seems he was just as involved as that crazy man, Godfryd.”

“I understand how you feel, but as a vampire, you know how a sire can influence the children they produce. He had little control over what happened. When I find him, he will have to go through a relearning process with an adoptive sire and given a second chance. We cannot condemn him for having a bad sire.”

Tanek listened to Krispin make excuses for Shane, and he did not buy it. Something about Krispin did not sit right with him. It was almost like he was protecting Shane for some unknown reason. “Well, if that is all, Krispin, my mate needs more rest and food.”

“Yes, of course.”

Tanek closed the door behind Krispin, and he turned around to see Sally standing there. She didn’t look too happy.

“You can’t trust him; he is protecting that worthless alligator slime, Shane. I know it!”

“I agree, but there is not much I can do.”

“I have to check on Maureen and give her another bag of blood. For now, I would keep Natasha and Maureen close. I don’t trust that man.”

Tanek could not agree more. He walked back into the living room. Natasha was looking much better after downing another mug of warm blood. Her coloring was finally back to her normal vampire, pale complexion. Tanek walked over to Natasha and scooped her up in his arms. She yelped with surprise.

“Let’s go. I need you upstairs.”

“Really? You want to, well, you know?”

Tanek laughed. “Yes, I want to, well, you know.”

Chapter 38

Natasha enjoyed the way she felt in Tanek’s arms as he carried her. She felt her body heating up in anticipation. She couldn’t help but have a big goofy smile on her face. He kicked the door open and raced over to the bed, gently putting her down.

“I love you so much, Tanek.”

“You are my intended, my one true, eternal mate, and I cannot wait for the ceremony to announce it to the world and to proudly wear the tattoo of our mating.”

Natasha lost her breath. She didn’t expect him to say all that. She just expected the normal ‘I love you, too’. His declaration made her heart sing and do leaps in the air. Natasha stripped down and gave him a sex kitten, ‘come get it’ smile.

“Are you sure you are healed?” Tanek finally managed, backing away.

“Tanek, I’m naked and waiting. It’s not really a question and answer time. Get naked already!” she growled in sexual frustration.

Tanek did as she asked, taking off his clothes. Natasha didn’t want to waste any time; she was already on her back with her legs spread and ready. Tanek crawled over her, and his lips immediately landed on hers, both of them with fangs out and hot. Natasha moaned. It had been a long couple days, and all she wanted was to feel him inside her, pumping and bringing her pleasure.

“Oh Tanek, I need you. Please don’t make me wait.”

Natasha felt him reach between her legs, and he ran his fingers along her slit. Natasha wiggled, encouraging him not to stop. His cock rubbed her slick pussy, and slowly, she felt him push himself inside her. They both moaned at the intense and welcomed pleasure.

“Oh my god, so fucking hot and slick,” Tanek groaned as he pushed himself in and out of her, moving more quickly.

Natasha did not hold anything back. She moaned and gave her body over to him. She let herself feel all the pleasure, her body reacting so much more intensely than before. Finally, she knew it was coming; her orgasm was building in her body. It took over, and she screamed as loudly as she could. She didn’t care if every vampire in town heard her. Natasha loved this man, and wanted everyone to know it.

“Yes, yes, yes, Tanek, yes.”

Natasha closed her eyes, breathing deeply, her body needing a moment to recover. Tanek then continued pumping into her until he followed her, his cock contracting and spilling his warmth inside her. He fell onto the bed next to her.

“That was amazing,” Natasha muttered, out of breath.

Tanek reached over and kissed her. “You are the one that is amazing. I hope you don’t think you are getting off that easy. I plan on using that hot ass of yours over and over until neither of us can stand.”

Natasha practically did a victory dance. That was exactly what she had in mind. “I have to go wash up a bit; prepare for round two.”

“Take your time. I will go get some drinks,” Tanek answered.

Natasha turned on the bathroom light as she washed up and squirted some of her favorite body spray. Her hair was all crazy lady looking, so she grabbed a brush and brushed her long black locks. She heard Tanek get back from the kitchen. She quickly put on a bit of lipstick and opened the door, and posed totally nude in her best seductive pose.

Tanek just stared, his mouth opening. He quickly put the drinks down and was up against her, pinning her to the door and kissing her. Natasha knew they just had sex, but already she wanted him all over again, like it was the first time. Her breasts pressed up against his bare chest, and her nipples hardened as her pussy got wetter by the moment. He moved from her mouth to her neck, kissing and licking. His tongue was so wet and warm; it felt exquisite. Natasha wrapped her legs around him, but they never left the bathroom. Tanek leaned up against her on the bathroom counter. The granite was cold against her bottom, but it made his hot body feel that much better. His mouth was so wet and inviting. He took her nipple into his mouth. He sucked gently while his fingers probed her clit, driving her wild. Natasha moaned as he continued giving her pleasure. She threw her head back and moaned.
