Tanek, Sally, and eventually Laya, came outside. Natasha felt horrible. She didn’t even check to see if Kelvin was okay after the incident with Maureen.

“Natasha, we need to talk about this,” Tanek stated. Natasha could tell by his very formal tone he was pissed.

Sally did not say anything, but Natasha could see her disapproving glare. She knew now Maureen would most definitely have to find a sire who knew what she was doing, because she did not know the first thing about new vampires, and she already screwed things up.

“Tanek, I think we need to get Maureen home. Let’s talk about it at home.”

“Fine,” he growled.

“Um, would somebody like to tell me what’s going on?” Laya was standing there, looking very confused.

“We just need to call it a night. I’ll just call you later.”

“Alright, sweetie; if you need anything, just let me know.”

Natasha nodded, and watched Laya get her car and take off. They waited with Tanek until his driver pulled up. They all got into the back seat together. The ride back was not long, but it seemed like forever due to all the tension in the air.

Chapter 43

Natasha sat on her bed. She felt like a naughty child, and hated it. Maureen was in her room with Sally, probably getting the same treatment.

Tanek took off his jacket and tie, and unbuttoned the first two buttons of his shirt. “Natasha, do you know how dangerous that was? She was a new vampire and could have gone on a killing spree.”

“I’m sorry. I wanted to hang out like before.”

“But it won’t ever be like before.”

“I know that now, and I know she has to go with Sally. She needs someone who knows better.”

“I think it would be a good idea.”

Natasha was trying to hold in her tears, but they were flowing, her blood stained tears dripping down her face. Tanek took her in his arms. He kissed her head and tried is best to comfort her.

“I think I know what this is all about.”

“You do?”

“After the thing with Godfryd, then Maureen turning, you wanted to feel like nothing had changed.”

Tanek looked at Natasha right in her sad eyes and kissed her. “It’s over, and Maureen is a vampire. Things are changing, but only for the better. Soon, we will be married. I love you and you will always have me. That will never change.”

“I just don’t know anymore. I acted out, and I should have known better. Everything is spinning out of control for me. I think....I think we should put the wedding on hold.”

Tanek let go and stepped away. His face was blank, but Natasha knew he was upset. He opened the door and stepped out. He never said a word. This was bad, really, really bad. She wanted to put the wedding on hold, not break up.

Oh crap on a stick.

Natasha sat for a while. She needed to see Maureen to see if she was doing okay. She knocked at her door and cracked it open. “Can I come in?”

“Please, Tasha, come in.”

Natasha opened the door and went inside the room, still scattered with clothes from earlier. Natasha looked around the room and noticed how generic and plain the room was, and wondered why she had not personalized it with even a picture. Or any decor of any kind. Natasha sat on the bed with Maureen as she was drinking a warmed bag of blood. “I want to say I’m sorry for taking you out; you were not ready and I should have known better. I just wanted to go back to normal, and that just was not happening.”

“Oh, Tasha, you do not have to be sorry. I wanted to go just as much as you did. It was just too soon, but soon I will be ready and we can feed on some hunks together.”

Maureen hugged Natasha. Natasha was overwhelmed with so many emotions, she broke down again. “I’m an emotional mess, and I just screwed up so bad.”

“Tasha, don’t cry. It’s okay. I’m okay. Everything is just okay.”

“No, it’s not. The wedding is off. Tanek hates me; he walked out.”

Sally must have heard the racket, because she came into the room. “Is everything okay here?”

“No! Tanek left my Tasha. When I see him, I will set his nut sack on fire.”

“As much as that is an interesting visual, he isn’t gone; he’s pouting on the porch. You should talk to him.”

Both women looked up. “He is?” they both said in unison.

“Go, Tasha, talk to him.”

Natasha ran down the stairs then slowed down as she approached the porch. She walked out and found Tanek on the porch, just sitting and staring out into the dark. He looked up when she approached.

“I tried to leave, but I just couldn’t go.”

“I don’t want you to leave.” Natasha sat next to Tanek on the wicker love seat.

“I love you and want to marry you.”

“I know. I love you, too, but everything is just happening too fast. I need a breather.”

“You still have on the ring.”

“I love my ring. I still love you, and want to be with you.” Natasha couldn’t believe the same man who insisted he could never love, loved her so much his heart was breaking over her wanting to postpone the wedding. She had to tell him. She had to tell him it wasn’t the wedding, it was everything else. She was scared, and she feared the unknown.

Tanek looked into her eyes and leaned down to kiss her. He stood up and got down one knee. “Natasha, I didn’t do this the right way last time, so I want to ask again. I love you and I don’t care what happens in life, I will be here for you. I will love you through it. Please, I’m asking again if you will marry me?

Natasha could not believe he was asking again, but she automatically nodded her head. She loved him, and she needed to just take a leap of faith and trust he meant what he said. “Yes, I will marry you, for real, and I won’t back out this time. I promise.”

Tanek kissed her hand and then her arm, and slowly made his way to her mouth. She almost stopped breathing all together. The way his tongue moved in her mouth, it was like it was doing what it was always meant to do, kiss and love her. He pulled away and had a playful glint in his eyes.

“I would like to take you somewhere and make love to you. Somewhere special.”

“And what is wrong with my bed?”

“Nothing, but if we make love in this special place, it would mean a lot to me and I think you’ll like it.”

“Well, who am I to argue with a little fun fuckery?”

Tanek raced into the house and came out with a blanket. He took her hand and pulled her along with him. They entered the woods behind the subdivision—she never entered them before—and they kept walking.

“Where are we going, Tanek?”

“You’ll see. It will be fun, trust me. I know where we are going,” he said, giving her a mischievous wink.

Natasha continued following him for what seemed like miles. She saw what looked like a small pond near a strange looking old tree. He walked over between the tree and pond and spread out the blanket. Natasha looked at it and giggled. She knew exactly what he wanted, but was not sure why it was so important.

“Come, my love, sit with me.”

Natasha kicked off her shoes and laid down on the blanket. It was kind of nice lying next to him in the dark, listening to the nocturnal animals moving and making noises in the woods.

“This is where I kissed Gretchen.”

“What? Why would you bring me here?”

“I want to replace every memory of any other woman with you. When I see that tree and that pond, I want to remember you coming for me, screaming my name.”

“Tanek, this is sweet and very strange at the same time. Why is this so important? I mean, if we have to erase ever woman you dated, we might be very busy for a long time.”

“Not every woman, just her. She was the last one, the one that really broke me, and now you are here. You are the one that put me back together.”

That was all Natasha needed to hear. She slipped out of her dress and straddled him on the blanket. His eyes watched her, and she immediately felt his erection. He sat up and took off his shirt. Reaching behind her, he unsnapped her bra and watched as her breasts became free.

“We will do this nice and slow, so there will be no possible way you could ever remember that woman here.”

“That woman?” Tanek asked.

“She shall remain nameless until you can’t recall her name due to the pleasure I will give you.”

Natasha kissed his neck, her pussy ripening with desire. She wanted him fast right now, but she would take it slow. She wanted this to be a night he would never forget. She unzipped his pants and was pleasantly surprised to see he had gone commando and wore no underpants. His cock sprang free, big, thick, and ready. She could see the bead of cum already glistening on the head of his penis. She licked the head gently. She could tell the small touches were pure torture for him, and she enjoyed it immensely.

“Oh, Natasha, you are a wicked woman.”

She looked up at him as she was about to take him in her mouth. “You have no idea.” She then dipped her head and slowly licked his shaft, twirling her tongue around his length. She finally took it into her mouth. Tanek gripped the hair at the back of her head, and she knew he was seconds until he would just explode and fuck her mouth.

“Natasha, my love, oh yes, that feels so good,” he moaned.

Natasha took as much of him as she could and moved her head up and down, sucking and licking. Tanek gripped her hair harder, and she knew that meant he wouldn’t last much longer. Finally, he did as she suspected and grabbed onto her head and pumped furiously, and then she felt his cum pouring into her mouth. She swallowed until every last drop was gone and she licked him just to be sure. She rolled over and lay beside him. Her pussy was aching and so very wet, but she would give him a break before she jumped him again.

“That just proved why I love you so much, you know me so well and I never have to tell you what to do.”

“I could say the same about you. Your touch always makes me feel alive, more alive than I have ever felt.”

Natasha leaned over him and kissed him with such passion. She could see him getting hard all over again, and she decided two minutes would have to be sufficient for a break and straddled him. She could not wait any longer. She took his cock into her and immediately rocked back and forth, moaning as her breasts swayed. Tanek reached for her nipples. He gently rubbed them between his fingers. Her pussy was so slick with desire, his touch was exactly what she needed to put her over the edge. Her orgasm pulsated through her body. She writhed and moaned, finally screaming his name she felt complete, and she screamed at the top of her lungs, not caring who could hear her. Tanek followed her with his own, his cock filling her with his warmth.

Chapter 44

Three days later, and Maureen was finally able to go out in public with Sally. Sally was watching over her to make sure no blood hunger took over. Maureen was not ready to go back to work yet, and Natasha did not have the heart to tell her she wouldn’t be returning, that she needed to go live with Sally for a while.

Natasha walked into the kitchen. Maureen was back to doing her usual cooking routine. She would miss all the great meals she cooked. The sun just went down, and as usual, Maureen was preparing a dinner. It smelled delicious. Tanek already went to work, and Natasha was not going in that day so she could talk with Maureen.

“It smells delicious. What is it?”

“It’s Lasagna. Should be ready in about thirty minutes,” Maureen said happily.

“Well, that’s perfect because I really need to talk to you about a few things. Let’s go to the family room; we can sit and talk there.”

Maureen took off her apron she wore, and walked into the family room and sat on one of the couches. “So is something wrong?” Maureen asked.

“Not wrong, but I was thinking about your situation, how you need a sire. I think it would be best if you went with Sally back to Detroit, just for a while, while you finish adjusting to being a vampire.”

“Tasha, I don’t want to go. Detroit is so, it’s so gross. It is cold and there is no music scene what so ever. I bet you can’t even get descent gumbo.”

“Well, you make the best gumbo I ever tasted, so I don’t think you need to buy it, anyway.”

“Who will cook for you? You will just starve without me.”

“Vampires don’t really need to cook, and I can order out or I could take lessons.” Maureen hugged Natasha and cried, her wet, red tinted tears dripping on Natasha’s shirt.

“Listen, it won’t be forever; just a year, maybe two. Sally is great and she lives in a great big house on the lake. She even has an indoor pool. It would be like a vacation.”

“What about my job?”

“Sally knows a guy up north who also has a vampire bar. She can get you another job just the same as this one.”

“I like this job, I like my friends, and I love living here.”

Maureen stormed out of the room, and Natasha could hear her snarling all the way down the hall. That could have gone better. As angry as Maureen was at her, she had things to do. She had a wedding to plan. She decided to plan it to take place in two weeks. That way Maureen could be there before she had to move away. Natasha was hoping for her help, but with her being angry, it was probably not going to happen.
