She felt his lips press against her cheek and continue down to her ear and then her neck, where he began to suck softly until he kissed down to her collarbone. He pulled the strap of her dress off to the side to kiss her shoulder and a very soft, light moan escaped from her lips. She felt his hands move from her waist up to her chest where he started to massage her boobs. Her heart rate picked up and she felt bumps erupt all over her skin at his touch and continued kissing along her exposed skin. One of his hands moved from her chest down her stomach until it landed on her upper thigh, exposed from her dress hiking up. She felt like her body was on the verge of trembling slightly but she was not sure if it was only from excitement or what else it could be. She had never experienced this kind of reaction to anybody touching her. He began to massage her thigh and slowly move has hand upward, further under the hem of her dress until she felt him just barely graze over her panties. It was then that she shuddered and he immediately withdrew his hand and rested it on her knee, extending and angling his neck so he could give her a passionate kiss. He broke the kiss only to turn her toward him, hooking his hand under her leg and pulling it over him. Understanding what he wanted, she pushed herself up and adjusted her body so she was straddling him. She could already feel a hard bulge under her, sending a jolt of excitement through her body as she moved forward and kissed him insistently.

His hands wandered all over her back until he finally cupped her very large, round ass and squeezed. He groaned quietly into her mouth and squeezed again. He kept one hand on her ass, occasionally squeezing or massaging it, while his other hand traced up and down the curve of her wide hip and small waist. His hands then traveled up her back until he located the zipper of her dress and he slowly pulled it down, his fingertips grazing her skin ever so lightly. He stopped at the clasp of her bra and unhooked it before his fingertips caressed her skin down to her lower back. Grabbing her waist, he made a motion to stand up causing her to stand up as well. He gave her a deep kiss before turning her around and pulling her so her back was inches away from his body. He ran his hands back up to her shoulders and pushed the dress off her, his lips meeting her exposed shoulder blade as her dress fell to the floor along with her bra. He kissed her neck while one hand reached around to fondle her boobs, the other playfully roving over her tight stomach tickling right at the waistband of her panties. She rolled her body back against his with a small moan, her head rolling back to lean against his shoulder as he delivered a sudden pinch to her nipple.

She gave a small yelp in surprise and pleasure as she raised one of her arms and let it fall back onto her forehead. Her hips began to move ever so slightly when she felt his hand slip slowly under the waistband of her panties, her body writhing up against his when she felt his fingers run along her wet slit. He rubbed her with an open palm to create more heat and succeeded in getting her wetter than she already was. He turned her around roughly and pushed her onto the bench, spreading her legs as he sunk down to one knee in front of her. He craned his neck to lick her nipples, nipping at each one before moving his lips slowly down to her stomach. He licked playfully around her belly button before leaving a trail of wet kisses down to her hipbone. Nick then hooked his index fingers onto the waistband of her panties and took them off, tossing them casually off to the side without caring where they landed. Kissing and licking along her hipbone, he slipped two fingers inside her causing her hips to lift up off the bench in response. She moaned and moved onto his fingers but he soon withdrew his fingers and stood up to lean over her and kiss her lips.

He wrapped an arm around her waist and scooped up her legs with the other, picking her up off the bench and walking to the front of the boat to place her there on the floor. He knelt beside her and bent down to give her a kiss before asking, “Do you want to…?” She nodded and looked up at the stars as his footsteps faded away into the cabin of the boat. A couple minutes later, he returned but was now completely naked and had a condom on. She looked up at him, stretched her arms above her head and at the same time she opened her legs, inviting him to enter her. And there, under the starry sky and shining moonlight, on the deck of a boat floating on a peaceful lake, she felt his erection slip inside her in one swift motion for the first time. She arched her back and lifted her hips to meet his, their motion syncing up in no time at all. He held her tightly at her waist as he picked up the pace, leaning down to take her lips in a fiery kiss. She responded by wrapping one leg around him and drawing him in deeper with each thrust, sending both of them over the edge into orgasm quickly. Nick pulled out of her and rolled onto his back beside her, catching his breath while looking up at the beautiful night sky.

Chapter 3: Something New

After a couple minutes, he squeezed her hand and stood up to walk into the cabin. She quickly followed suit, wanting to get indoors and clean up. He offered her the shower first and she took it. As much as she wanted to enjoy the feeling of the water running down her skin and cooling it, she knew he was waiting to shower as well so she cleaned up quickly and stepped out. She toweled off before wrapping the towel around her body and stepping back out into the cabin of the boat where she saw a robe and a pair of slippers waiting for her on the couch. She slipped both of them on and walked over to the door, peering out and seeing him sitting on the bench and looking out onto the lake, still naked. He turned to her and smiled before getting up and walking into the cabin. He gave her a soft peck on the lips and said, “Make yourself comfortable. I’ll be out soon.” He closed the bathroom door behind him and she heard the shower turn on. She walked around the cabin and opened a door that led to a smaller bedroom where she dropped herself onto the bed. It was then that she noticed there was a skylight installed and she felt herself dozing off as she stared up at the night sky from the comfort of the bed.

She woke up a few minutes later when she felt the bed sink with the weight of a person next to her. There was Nick, freshly showered and in his own robe, sitting at the corner of the bed and looking at her with an even deeper admiration than he had previously. He reached out and ran his hand through her hair saying, “That didn’t quite feel like a first date.” Shauna sat up on the bed next to him and let her head fall back so she could still look out of the skylight. She smiled serenely and said, “It didn’t feel like a first date at all.”

“So what did it feel like?”

“I don’t know. It felt like something that comes after a lot of dates. I don’t just mean the sex; I mean the connection between us. At least on my end, I felt connected to you from the start of the evening in a way that takes much longer usually.”

Nick hummed in agreement and moved to be closer to her, his side pressed against hers as he drew his arm around her shoulders. “I told you, there’s something about you.” She turned to look at him and he took the opportunity to give her a soft but lingering kiss on the lips. He then pressed his lips to her cheek and lingered for a few seconds before whispering in her ear, “There is definitely something special about you. This is completely new to me.”

She pulled back to look into his eyes and she could see he was speaking honestly. Whatever it was she felt that drew her in seemed to be having the same effect on him. They had some kind of instant chemistry between them that was often sought out by many but extremely difficult to come by. She smiled and asked, “Isn’t this a bit cheesy?” When he jerked his head back and laughed, she laughed too and gave him a peck on the cheek. “It is,” she went on to say, “Honestly, it is somewhat corny. It’s not realistic. It’s the kind of thing you might see in a movie and it’s real or hear from your friends but it was all a lie.”

He pulled back and studied her face carefully before asking, “Are you really that skeptical?”

“Can you blame me?”

He drew in a breath and shook his head, pulling her close to him again. He moved his hand slowly up and down her upper arm. “I can’t,” he responded after some time. He did not press the issue but he did lean over to kiss her, his hand caressing her cheek and moving to run through her hair. “Time to take you home,” he said quietly as he stood up and began to get dressed before heading back out. She felt the engine rev up and the floor beneath her vibrate slightly and that is when she realized her clothes were still on the deck. She walked out and saw her dress and underwear stacked neatly on the edge of the bench they had been sitting at. Without looking over her shoulder at Nick, who was now getting ready to move, she crossed over to the bench and picked up her clothes before going back into the cabin. Once inside, she dropped onto the couch, clothes resting on her lap, and felt the boat begin to move. She was not quite sure what to make of all of this or what his reaction meant. Had he been turned off by her skepticism? He had not seemed like he was rushing to end the date but something did not sit well with her that he chose to end it after that conversation. “You’re just being paranoid,” she said to herself out loud.

She stood up and changed there without bothering to move quickly. Once she was done, she folded the robe and took it into the bathroom where she placed it on the counter top. She looked in the mirror and freshened up, trying her hardest not to look like she had just slept with someone. She leaned forward with her palms against the counter and stared at her reflection, wondering how she had ended up sleeping with a man she barely knew. This was not something she typically did; in fact, she had never done something like this before. She had never slept with a man she was not in a relationship with. Yet now she found herself in the bathroom of a man whose last name she did not even know despite the fact he had already been inside her. How was it possible she could feel that connection they had talked about without knowing anything in reality? Attraction was a big motivator, she concluded. But it was the kind and intensity of the attraction that had truly reeled her in. She wanted to know more about him but did not want to push something that had no future.
Always with the back and forth
, she thought as a heavy sigh came out from her.

She walked back out and saw he was already pulling up to the loading dock and had just switched off the engine of the boat. He hopped down from the stool and grabbed the ropes to begin tying them, keeping the boat in place. As she slipped her shoes on she could feel him staring at her. She was not quite sure how she felt about his constantly doing so but did know she appreciated the look in his eyes every time she caught him. She stood up straight and turned to face him with a smile fixed in place. He got off the boat and extended his hand out to help her off but did not let go once she was so that the two walked back to the parking lot holding hands. This confused her further because it was quite tender and affectionate so it made her think he may not have been put off by her skepticism after all. When they reached her car he leaned forward to give her a kiss on the cheek and said, “Have a good night.” With that, he walked away to his own car and got inside. She stood there for a minute feeling confused and having no idea what would happen next but she shook it off and got in her car, driving away with music flowing freely out of her windows into the night.

Chapter 4: The Tour

“You always overthink things,” Michelle said the next day as she sprawled out on the big couch. Shauna looked over at her friend and wondered why she even bothered talking to her about these things but she knew that would not change. Michelle was her best friend and the only person she really felt comfortable sharing everything with. “Seriously,” she continued, “You go back and forth with everything all the time. Even if you do decide to do something you can’t even fully enjoy it in the end. I say, just go with it.”

Shauna dropped down onto the armchair adjacent the couch and looked at her friend while taking the time to carefully size up her words. It was true she constantly went back and forth on anything in her life, she had even thought about it on the boat. What was the worst that could happen? The relationship simply would not work out? “There is something different about him,” Shauna said slowly, “And I think I shouldn’t just ignore it. I don’t want to ignore it.”

“And why should you? Go for it. The worst that can happen is it doesn’t work out. That’s not much better than you always wondering or regretting not giving it a shot, especially if he really is as special as you say.” Michelle sat up and squinted at Shauna before going on to ask, “Why is he so special, anyway?”

Shauna shrugged and laid her head back trying to think of an appropriate answer to the question her friend had just posed. It was not quite possible to pinpoint any one reason Nick stood out from everyone or sum up why he was so striking. There were various factors that summed up to make it so and some of them were not quantitative, not something you could describe but had to feel. “He just is,” she replied right as her phone went off with the alert of a new message. She picked it up from beside her on the arm of the chair and unlocked it to see she had a new message from Nick.
I know it’s soon but are you free tonight?
A smile crept unknowingly onto Shauna’s face, something that Michelle promptly pointed out. “Yes, it’s him” she responded as she drafted out a response. She decided she did not need to make it so complicated and responded with a simple
yes
. About a minute after he sent her a reply asking if she would be interested in taking a private tour of a well-known casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
