“He left each of the boys a lengthy letter but neither of them will let me read them.  I honestly don’t have any idea what he could have put in the letters.”

“Will you please tell Jet that I really want to come be there for him, I feel helpless being here.”

“Chass, he’s not exactly in the right state of mind to be around anybody besides the ones that can bring him down when he’s on a rampage.  Right now he wants nothing more than to beat the hell out of the man that did this but he can’t because his dad shot himself.”

“Okay, just keep me posted…please?”

“I will, keep me posted how the game goes.”

We hung up, then I started packing for Thursday.

Wednesday classes went by fairly quick, at the practice for the football players we all packed the medical equipment and loaded it into the appropriate totes.  The medical staff gave us the itinerary for game day and told us to meet at the bus after our last class on Thursday.

Thursday I text Jet to let him know that I really missed him and wanted to let him know I was thinking of him and Jason.  As we loaded on the bus to make the short drive to the airport, one of the football players
Brody Carlton a sophomore from Florida came and sat beside me.  The football players and the sports med students had all gotten to know each other pretty well, we were constantly picking on each other and pulling pranks against the football players.  “You’re going to be my seat buddy, I’ll keep you safe and you keep me safe.  Always remember stranger danger when we get to the airport.” Brody said with a serious tone but trying to hide a smile.

I rolled my eyes, “
Brody, you’re a defensive lineman I think stranger danger should be the least of your concerns.” I said with a laugh.

“Hey, women try to grope this you know!  What if one of them successfully pulls me away and has her mean way with me?” He replied.

“Right…and how big is this woman?” I asked with one eyebrow raised.

Brody
twisted his lips up and rubbed his chin, “Oh she’s about five foot four’ish, has a rockin’ hot body, her eyes, you’d kill for them…eh I’ll shut up and spare you the details.  I know you chic’s don’t like to hear about each other.” He said with a grin.

I slapped at his arm, “You’re such a perv!” I said and laughed.

Once we got to the airport and everything was passed through the security and loaded onto the private jet, everybody boarded the airplane.  Brody came and sat down beside me and stretched out his tall muscular six foot five, two hundred and sixty pound frame.  I had my ear buds in listening to Pandora radio and was checking my Facebook.  I glanced up at Brody that was reading my phone over my shoulder, so I laid my phone on my lap and pulled my ear buds out.

“Nosey?”

Brody laughed, “Nope, just bored.  So what are we going to talk about the next couple of hours?”

I shrugged my shoulders, “I’m going to take a nap if that’s okay with you.” I told him.  The airplane started to taxi down the runway and soon lifted off.

“Are you and Jet still an item?  I haven’t seen him around lately.”

“Yep we are, he’s not been around because, well…there was a family emergency.”

Brody tilted his head, “Okay?”

I leaned my head back against the seat and closed my eyes, “His dad murdered his mom then turned the gun on himself on Sunday.”

I looked over at Brody that sat there blinking, “No shit?  I thought his mom was remarried though.”

I nodded my head, “She is, they have only been married for a few short months.  His dad was a severe alcoholic though.  I haven’t heard anything from him or Jason.  Jerod told me that he did leave Jason and Jet each a letter though.  I don’t know if Jet will ever let me see it since there was already hard feelings between me and his dad.”

Brody nodded his head, “Yeah that was pretty fucked up, how you and Jet ended up together but didn’t know that you two actually had a connection before.”

I leaned my head against his shoulder, “I don’t want to talk about it anymore it’s driving me crazy that Jet won’t let me come be with him.  Tell me more about you.”

I raised my head off his shoulder and looked at him as he talked about his childhood.  Brody was a very handsome black man, he had full lips, perfect straight white teeth and his eyes were a beautiful shade of green.  His hair was cut in a typical military style haircut since he was raised in a military family.  He told me about his one sister that was married and had a set of twin girls, his mom and dad traveled for his dad’s security business, and he pointed out numerous times that he was indeed a single guy.  We visited a little more about my family until I finally dozed off with my head leaning against his shoulder.  I was jolted awake when we hit turbulence, I grabbed Brody’s hand and squeezed it for dear life.  He shook his head and laughed, “Woman if I was white that would have just turned my knuckles white.” He said as I released my grip.

“You hush, I was sleeping good!” I said and tucked my jacket against the window and tried to go back to sleep.

“Get over here, you look way to uncomfortable.” He told me and pulled at my arm.

I laid my head against his shoulder and didn’t wake up again until he told me we were about to land.

Once we all were inside the airport Mitch came up to me, “Brody and you looked pretty comfy.  You givin' up on Jet?” He asked.

“WHAT? No!  I was comfortable…”

“Chill out Chass, I’m just givin’’ you shit.” He said then grabbed his backpack and started towards the bus.

It was late when we arrived at the hotel, once we all were assigned our roommates and given our room keys we wasted no time getting settl
ed into the rooms.  I had Val as my roommate for the weekend.  She was a freshman that honestly had no interest in sports what so ever, she was in college only to get away from her controlling parents, according to what she had told Asher and I one afternoon during practice.

I tried calling Jet again after I had showered, but of course he didn’t answer.  I was getting even more frustrated that he was flat out ignoring me and shutting me out, but I kept telling myself to just give him time.  I laid there in bed and listened to Val as she typed away on her laptop, my cell phone went off with a text.  It was from Brody asking if I wanted to go down to get something to eat at the restaurant in the hotel.  I threw some clothes on, opened the door to our room, Brody opened the door to his room that was only two doors down on the ot
her side of the hall.

“I better not be hearing a train of women giggling tonight or tomorrow night.” I said with a laugh.

He covered his chest with his hands, “I’m so hurt you think I’m like that, I’m a one woman kind of guy you know.” He said with a big smile.

When we made it down to the restaurant the waitress showed that she was clearly interested in Brody, but, he made it very clear he wasn’t interested in her.  I kept checking my phone throughout supper to see if I had any missed calls or text from Jet but I
didn’t.  Over supper Brody told me about what his plans were for after college and where he wanted to live.  I was shocked to when he told me that he wanted to be a mechanical engineer and wanted to live in a smaller city instead of a big busy city.  “I’d rather commute to work each day, screw living in a big city.  I want my family to live in a comfortable neighborhood.” He said.

After we finished supper we walked through the hotel
. We stopped and looked at the swimming pool and spa area.  Then workout facility, gift shop and the bar area, before we went back to our rooms.  I was comfortable with Brody and he took my mind off the fact that Jet and I hadn’t talked since Sunday.

Friday morning we all had to leave the hotel by nine in the morning to get to the stadium.  Brody sat next to me on the bus and took one of my ear buds and listened to Pandora with me
. He tried to sing along with Pitbull but we ended up laughing at him instead.  Once we got to the stadium we followed the coaches and players to the locker room. We unloaded our gear and left so the players could get changed into their football gear.  Before I walked out I wished Mitch and Brody good luck.

The game wasn’t scheduled to start until noon, so the sports med students sat down and discussed the different types of injuries the senior students and teachers had to handle.  The worst was by far when a guy managed to break his femur and the bone was sticking out of the leg, “He had so much adrenaline going through him he didn’t even realize it was
broke until he went to stand up. Then when his leg felt “funny” he looked down and fainted.” The instructor told us.  “These guys can turn into REALLY big babies or major assholes if they get injured, so just try to make sure they stay calm so they don’t injure themselves further.” The other instructor told us.  We went to the concession stand for lunch, then as the crowd started to fill the stadium we went back to the locker room so we could check to make sure everybody was wrapped that wanted to be or needed to be.

Ohio State won against Texas that night, so the bus was filled with some very hyper very energetic players and staff.  The players all talked about the game and what they could have done on defense and offense to gain more points.  We got back to the hotel about forty five minutes late
r, it was only six thirty in the evening so we decided to all go out and find some place to eat.  I called Lawrence but he wasn’t going to be able to come join us.  The players couldn’t drink and the assistant coaches went with us to make sure no players got in trouble.  I sat between Mitch and Brody at the restaurant, “Have you talked to Jet at all?  He’s still not answering my calls or text.” I asked Mitch.

“I think I’ve talked to him a total of ten minutes since Sunday, he’s got a lot on his plate right now.” He told me.

I decided not to talk about it anymore, I was frustrated that Jet wouldn’t talk to me but he would talk to Mitch.

We all ate supper then went back to the hotel, Val and I decided to go swim for a little bit and sit in the hot tub.  We swam for about ten minutes, her cell phone ringing
nonstop made her get out of the pool.  She told me it was her boyfriend so she left and went back to the room.  I was leaning against the edge of the pool with my eyes closed when suddenly there was a massive splash causing the pool water to knock me off balance and go under for a second.  I came back up sputtering water and wiping my hair out of my face.  Brody was laughing as he swam towards me, when he got close enough I splashed him in the face with water and laughed as I swam to the ladder and got out of the pool.

I sat down in the hot tub and turne
d the massaging bubbles on high. I let out a sigh as the tension melted away from the hot water and the massagers working against my shoulder muscles.  Brody slipped as he got into the hot tub splashing me in the face with the hot water, I narrowed my eyes at him as he apologized while trying not to laugh.  He grabbed my ankle and started massaging my foot, with each push of his thumb against the arch of my foot I couldn’t help but moan with from the pure pleasure.  He sat that foot down then started massaging my other foot, I went to move my other foot and ended up brushing it against his cock.  His obviously very large very hard cock, my eyes snapped open and I started to apologize when suddenly the doors flew open to the swimming area.  Footballs players and sports med student’s cannon balled and dove into the deep end of the pool.  Brody winked at me as he stood up, adjusted himself and got out of the hot tub, he dove into the pool and put the quarterback of the team in a head lock.

The rest of the stay at the hotel was short, Brody and I sat with each other on the bus and the flight back to campus.  He never mentioned anything about the hot tub so I didn’t bring it up either.

When we got back to campus mid-morning on Saturday, I rode with Val from the bus area at the campus.  She went by Jet’s house to see if he was there, but, he wasn’t.  She lived in the same dorm house as I did so we went there.  I went to bed the very second I walked into the dorm.  I woke up about two thirty in the afternoon, I checked to see if Jet had called or text but he hadn’t.  When I walked out of my bedroom Asher and Mitch were laying on the couch watching a movie.  I walked over and sat down in the small recliner, “Mitch I think I’m going to go see Jet, this is driving me crazy.  I miss him and really want to be with him while he’s going through this.” I said.

Mitch shook his head, “He’ll just get pissed if you show up, he’ll let you know when he’s ready to see you.”

“Why does everybody keep telling me that?  Does he NOT want to see me or what?” I practically yelled.

“It’s not that, it’s just…I don’t know how to explain it to you.”

“Oh PLEASE, do try Mitch because I’m lost here!”

Mitch blew out a breath, “He was pretty pissed when he came home and you weren’t anywhere to be found.  I know that you were with Justin and his boyfriend but that’s still a problem with Jet.  Let him get through this then you two sit down and talk.”

“OH MY GAWD, this whole situation is fucking repetitive, Wait wait wait that’s all I fucking hear!” I stood up, walked into my bedroom and slammed the door. I sent Jet another text,
