The mountain suddenly became gray. A wall of rocks and limestones appeared. Its height was well beyond one thousand meters.

A group of shadows passed through the ground. Smoke looked up and saw something flying some distance away. He couldn't see what the objects were clearer since they were too far away.

He remembered one of his newly acquired knowledge from the book entitled 'You and your Symbiote'. It said that a symbiote's energy could be melded into the user.

With the need to enhance his vision at that moment. Smoke followed the instructions in his acquired knowledge window. He had Igniz on top of his head and asked him to channel his mana into his eyes.

He felt some surge of energy circling around his eyes and slowly enhancing his vision as if it were some long distance binoculars.

The clarity of the object was amazing. It was so far away but he saw the image of the gargantuan lemur clearly. It looked muscular and flexible. There were about twenty gargantuan lemurs flying in the sky.

These monsters were the reason why he was in Mount Gliseloc. Smoke was determined to obtain the epic item drop from their boss, 'Cologus'.

As the group of gargantuan flying lemurs drew closer, everything in the forest below stopped moving. Smoke felt the presence of the giant boa constrictor. Instead of the flying lizards shaking this time it was the giant snake that was trembling in fear.

Smoke went to a higher spot to get a better view of what would happen. The gargantuan flying lemurs spread out. One by one they dove down to the earth at an alarming speed.

THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD!

The gargantuan flying lemurs crash landed into the ground. As they landed they created an aftershock which stunned the nearby monsters. The gargantuan flying lemurs were about 6 feet tall and had a muscular build. Their skin-like wings folded neatly to their sides, like a cape.

Ten gargantuan flying lemurs surrounded the area of where the gigantic snake was. Like a well oiled machine, all ten of the flying beasts dove down at the titanic snake, stunning it for five seconds. The gigantic snake's lifebar appeared showing it's name: titanoboa (130,000/180,000 HP).

In the next five seconds, all ten gargantuan flying lemurs used their wind slash attacks at the titanoboa, slicing it piece by piece.

Gone in less than five seconds, the titanoboa's meat was distributed evenly to its ten killers. Smoke tried to check what the other gargantuan flying lemurs were doing and he saw that they captured the stunned flying lizards.

Whenever a gargantuan flying lemur had food in its claws, it immediately released a gust of wind which propelled it upwards into they sky.

All twenty gargantuan flying lemurs flew up into the sky. It took them less than five minutes since they landed, before the monsters took to the sky once more.

Smoke knew that he had to climb this towering wall in order to vanquish these monsters. Before starting his climb, he prepared his meal, bbq foxbat. He also sharpened his arrows and knives.

He didn't see just how much life those gargantuan flying lemurs had but he hoped it would be less than 100,000. The chance that those twenty who came down was their entire population was slim to none.

Stretching his entire body, Smoke was getting ready for the challenging climb. Getting the 'Claws of Chiropterra' was a godsend.

- Entered the Crest of Mount Gliseloc
  - No monsters are found at the crest of the mountain.
  - Suggested level for entering the crest is 90.

Otherwise, this wall would have been unclimbable. Smoke climbed at a steady pace. At his current rate he would finish the climb in the next two hours.

As he got used to the pace of his ascent, Smoke wondered why the level requirement was so high when there were no monsters in this area. He thought that this place must be a preparation area.

Once he would be done climbing the towering wall he would need more than level 90 to face the gargantuan flying lemurs. Other thoughts filled his head as he continued upward.

Perceiving that he would surely die if he were to fall from this height. Smoke practiced his maneuverability on the side of this steep wall.

Equipped with the 'Claws of Chiropterra', he could slide down the wall with ease while his claws were slowing down his momentum.

He tried jumping from one spot to another and found that he could do that too. Acquiring the knowledge from those books became really useful. It forced him to train both his left and right hand.

Now, that he was ambidextrous. He could hold on to the wall with only one claw while his other hand was free to do something else.

Seeing as he could only use one hand, Smoke wished that he had a sword with a higher offense than one of his green dual knives. These knives were only useful when they worked together.

‘Beggars can't be choosers’. Smoke decided to use his green virile knife when the need to fight arises. He climbed on to about five hundred meters.

He spotted a small entrance to a cave. He asked Igniz to inspect the insides of the cave. Smoke found him to be somewhat irritating as he scaled the towering wall. The dark ember sprite was just floating around him with ease and Smoke felt that Igniz was mocking him.

Igniz gave the all clear signal. Smoke tried squeezing into the cave and found that it was actually wider inside.

He thought that this cave would be perfect as his safe-house. Thinking of worst case scenarios proved to be most useful.

Equipped with the pickaxe that he got from Franz Briar, Smoke started widening the entrance of the cave. Igniz also helped out by melting the sides of the entrance, making the earth softer.

The cave's height was almost six feet with a width of about four feet and a depth of fifteen feet. There was barely enough space to move around but this place was very ideal to Smoke.

It took him a whole day to turn the cave into his desired safe-house. After completing his mini project, Smoke started to scale the towering wall of the mountain once more.

Nearing the top of the wall, Smoke honed in on his 'Cunning of the Dire Fox' ability to check if there were any monsters within the immediate area. Sensing that there were no gargantuan flying lemurs nearby, he slowly climbed to the top of the wall.

- Entered the Summit of Mount Gliseloc
  - The monsters in this area are the rulers of this mountain.
  - Suggested level for entering the summit is 100.

Finally, he was at the top of the mountain. He saw that the summit was filled with a special kind of tree. Each level of the mountain had a different color.

The trees here had orange and red leaves. Their heights were taller than the tallest trees down below. Although, there were only less than a hundred of these trees on top and they were spread out sporadically.

One tree stood out among the rest. It stood right in front of where Smoke was. It was the tallest tree on the top of the mountain.

Smoke had just stood up solidly on the ground when he felt the presence of a monster coming at him fast. He looked up and saw a gargantuan flying lemur diving straight at him.

He knew that if he stood there he would be stunned just like the titanoboa. Jumping to the right and then running with all his might while getting out his powersaw bow.

"Igniz, prepare to deploy the flame trap."

THUD!

The gargantuan flying lemur landed, stunning everything withing two meters of its area. The monster looked to where Smoke jumped to only to see a rain of arrows coming straight at it.

Before the arrows arrived a fire cage was quickly established encasing the gargantuan flying lemur inside. It was shocked to see these series of attacks.

The beast knew only of one attack pattern. It would land, stun the prey, slice it to pieces, fly back up. All of these are done in less than a minute.

Yet, now this gargantuan flying lemur was the one being hunted. All eight arrows hit the beast at critical places. The damage revealed the gargantuan flying lemur's lifebar (66,961/80,000 HP).

It was the first time for this beast to be caught in a trap. It tried flying away but got burned by the fire cage. The gargantuan flying lemur looked to the source of the arrows once more only to see that another set of them were coming straight at it.

After taking another round of arrows, the gargantuan flying lemur braved the fire cage and forced its way out. It flew up into the sky.

The attached arrows and the burned status gave it a hard time flying. It couldn't control its wind element very well and was force to crash down.

On its descent to the ground, the attack of relentless arrows never stopped. There was no quarter given to this beast. It landed to the ground with only (10,921/80,000 HP) left.

Smoke came down upon the dying gargantuan flying lemur with his green dual knives. The paralysis effect from the 'Tails of the Virile and Fecund Lizards' weren't necessary. The beast died with a series of dazzling knife attacks.

+ You've dealt a fatal blow to the gargantuan flying lemur.

+ You've killed the gargantuan flying lemur.

+ You've gained 80,000 exp.

The loot from the gargantuan flying lemur was ordinary to say the least. It only gave lemur meat. Smoke was collecting his arrows and the meat, when he saw a group of shadows circling above him.

He felt the monsters' presence coming straight for him fast. They were executing their series of dives, stunning their prey in the process.

There were ten flying gargantuans coming down at him. As each one took its turn to dive down and stun their prey, Smoke took this opportunity and started shooting at them while running out of harms way.

THUD!

The first gargantuan flying lemur landed. It had been injured by Smoke's arrows. Smoke calculated the spots to where he should escape.

He continued shooting his arrows at them. There was a three second delay after the gargantuan flying lemurs landed before they could move again. In these three seconds Smoke would unleash his eight arrows at the beasts.

THUD!

The second flying monster landed. Smoke repeated the same procedure making sure that he was well within his desired area.

THUD!

Continuing the same pattern until all ten of the gargantuan flying lemurs landed. Igniz then lit up the whole circle where Smoke was dangerously dancing around in.

Encasing all ten gargantuan flying lemurs in an extra large fire cage, he continued targeting the one nearest to him with his arrows.

He had thought about using his mandragora smoke but decided that it wouldn't be effective. The strong winds at the top of the mountain would simply blow it away.

Igniz's fire was a different issue all together. No matter how strong the wind, Igniz's fire stayed true to its purpose.

Trapped, the gargantuan flying lemurs were enraged. They were breaking out of the large fire cage but the monsters were bumping into each other in their attempt to escape.

Smoke had just gotten his second kill of gargantuan flying lemur. When, a wind slash came out of nowhere and damaged him for 8,000 points.

Looking for his attacker, Smoke saw a terrifying figure flying up above him. This gargantuan flying lemur was about 8 feet tall and had more muscles than the rest of the flying lemurs.

This was Cologus. The king of the mountain landed with such a force that its sound rang throughout the summit. After it landed, it attacked the fire cage with double wind slashes, releasing its trapped brethren.

Cologus looked to the direction of the intruder and found that he was no longer there. It flew up and checked the immediate area and found nothing.

It ordered the remaining nine gargantuan flying lemurs to search at the side of the mountain, while Cologus called for his whole race to search for Smoke.

Taking the damage of 8,000 was more than enough to make Smoke jump to safety. He dove down, to the side of the mountain and was falling down close to the wall.

Smoke only used his special gloves when he came near the entrance of his cave. He had put up a blanket covered with sand and rock from within the cave to hide its entrance.

One would need to inspect the wall closely in order to find Smoke's secret safe-house. The gargantuan flying lemurs search ended in vain.
