It still felt broken.

“Rest, Sweetheart, we have a long day ahead of us.” London states as he holds me close and begins to drift back off to sleep.

My eyes remain open as I stare at the empty bed across from me.

I stay awake until the door opens quietly and then shuts before Blue sits down on the edge of his bed and sighs roughly as he scrubs his hands through his hair.

As he looks up his eyes meet mine with sadness and then determination as he stands to his feet and crooks his finger for me to follow him.

I don’t know why I get out of bed, but I do.

I follow Blue through the darkness and into the bathroom where he shuts the door behind us quietly.

He then moves through the darkness as he turns on the shower.

I stand motionless as he moves around some more before coming back over to me.

His bare skin glides against mine as he pulls me forward and into his strong arms. “I can’t stay away from you. I have to feel you even if it’s just once.” He whispers into my ear.

“We can’t do this.” I whisper back. “It’s against all of our laws.”

“No one will ever find out.” Blue replies before pressing his lips against mine as he lifts me up and wraps my legs around his waist.

Just as I feel him enter me I sit up panting in my bed.

It was just like before.

Blue was sitting up in his bed panting for his next breath as well.

This time he growls and then motions for me to follow him into the bathroom.  It wasn’t at all friendly like it had been in our dream, he was angry.

Once the door shuts he grabs onto me roughly. “Stay out of my head. I can’t think of you like that especially after you did that with him. You’re a wolf and you make me sick.”

With those words he lets me go and then storms back out into the room.

I hold back the sob that threatened to fall from my lips before moving back out into the room and back under the covers with London.

I turn my back to Blue and push back the emotions that were ready to explode at any moment.

Somehow I manage to numb myself enough to fall back into a dark dreamless sleep.

6-Rollercoaster

W
ake up, Sweetheart.” London grunts as he shakes me for the sixth time.

I groan and turn my back to him.

“Sweetheart, what’s wrong?” He then questions as he kneels down to look me in the eyes since I wouldn’t face him any other way.

I stare past him absently.

Scrunching his nose he reaches his hand behind my neck and curses. “How are you healing so quickly?”

I had an answer for that but I wasn’t about to speak his name.

It hurt just to think about him.

“I don’t want to get up.” I argue with London as I move to turn my back to him again.

He sighs roughly before tugging me back around to look at him. “The Hunters need us to help them find their lost ones. You promised Pops that you would help.”

“Let them find their own people. I don’t know why I even bothered to care about these stupid humans anyway.” I clip out harshly.

Moving London out of his way Blue gets into my face. “My sister is out there and you’re the only one who can help find her so get up.” He demands.

I laugh harshly. “You should have thought about that before you told me that I made you sick.”

My words were only loud enough for him to hear.

He had dug his own grave on this one and he could find his damn sister all on his own. I would have no part in helping anyone.

The wolves were my people not these petty human Hunters.

We were enemies and it was best to remember that.

“You’re a real bitch, do you know that.” Blue growls out as he stands to his feet and then thankfully leaves the room.

London sighs roughly as he glances between me and the door. “I’ve got to go help them, Parker.” He states before leaving me alone as well.

I roll my eyes and turn my back to the door as I close my eyes and will myself to fall asleep again.

I don’t get the chance to fall back into the darkness though as Blue storms back into the room and snatches me up from the bed before carrying me into the bathroom over his shoulder.

He turns on the water and then puts me down once he slams the door shut and then locks it trapping me inside completely naked.

I cross my arms over my chest as I give him my best glare. “What do you think you’re doing?” I ask.

He shrugs as he begins pulling off his clothing, discarding it to the floor. “I’m going to give you what you want.”

I shake my head and laugh. “You’re a little too late for that.”

Grinning he shakes his head as he tosses his last piece of clothing to the floor. “I don’t think it’s too late judging from the way your eyes are looking at me right now.”

I had to admit that he looked good.

My hands were aching to reach out and touch him.

But instead I stand my ground and shake my head. “Stay away from me.”

Not listening to me he smirks and then grabs me around my waist before carrying me into the shower.

The hot water hits my skin and I gasp as he pins me against the wall with my legs wrapped around his waist.

His eyes stare into mine as he lifts me for a moment before pushing himself into me.

I moan and throw my head back in ecstasy.

A moan slips from his lips before they descend onto the sensitive skin on my neck.

He nips and kisses a trail as he moves within me.

My hands grasp at him as wave after wave of pleasure slams into my body.

It was like nothing I had ever felt before.

Not with London, and not with Gage.

“This is what you’ve been wanting from me, isn’t it?” Blue asks before he nips my bottom lip with his teeth.

I only answer him with a moan.

Grabbing hold of my chin he forces me to look at his face for a moment. “I’m not him.” He growls.

I nod my head and trace my finger over his scar. “I know you’re not him.”

He nods and then pulls my lips to his.

I open my mouth as his tongue forces its way inside to tangle with mine.

Too soon Blue brings me up and beyond my peak of bliss before we both fall over the other side together.

A moment later Blue grunts and then leaves me alone in the shower.

I listen as the door opens a few moments later and then shuts.

He was so hot and cold that I was left completely and utterly lost.

Moving slowly I shut off the water and climb out of the shower before wrapping a towel around my body.

With a deep breath I open the door and walk out into an empty room.

I raise my brow in confusion.

Had I just dreamt everything that had happened?

Glancing back at the bathroom I give up thinking and move to get my clothes on so I could figure things out.

Just as I pull down my shirt the door opens and in walks Blue. “Get your ass moving, wolf. We’ve got lives to save.”

I stare at him in confusion until he motions for me to keep moving.

“Did you not hear me, wolf? Are you suddenly deaf?” He taunts.

“Go to hell.” I growl.

“I was just there.” He replies with a glare.

He was implying that what we had just done had been hell for him.

It was laughable considering he had enjoyed it just as much as I did.

Getting into his face I shove him hard.

All of my anger bubbles to the surface for him to see.

His anger quickly mimics my own before he shoves me against the nearest wall and assaults my lips with his as his hands grip my hips possessively.

It was like we were in a battle where neither of us would win unless we got lost in each other.

It was maddening.

With a rough shove Blue pushes me away before spitting on the ground between us. “Stay away from me.”

He then leaves the room but not before I flip him off.

Gathering what sanity and strength I had left I take a deep breath before leaving our room and joining the group of Hunters that were standing around Pops.

Each one was heavily armed.

“Alright, now that we’re all here we can split into two groups. The wolves are going to lead the groups since they are going to be tracking for us. If they stop so do you, do you understand?” Pops questions and then glances around at each of the Hunters gathered.

“Okay, then let’s go.” He then claps his hands.

The Hunters split off into two groups and file into the back of two large trucks.

London moves to my side. “Be careful, Sweetheart. We still can’t trust these Hunters. I hate the fact that they are splitting us up.”

I nod in agreement.

Being apart from London made me uneasy. “I’ll stay with you no matter what.” I reply as I point to my head.

Before we part ways London pulls me in for a quick but passionate kiss.

Stepping back he gives me a goofy grin before changing into his wolf form.

I turn and watch as he jumps into the back of one of the trucks with the Hunters.

Looking towards the other truck my eyes lock onto Blue’s.

His eyes were hard, he was mad.

Sighing I shake my head and quickly change into my wolf form before jumping into the back of the other truck.

Moving into a comfortable spot I sit and then close my eyes as a familiar hand brushes through my thick wolf fur.

It was Blue.

That little bit of contact sends electricity through my entire body.

No matter our ups and downs, fighting our emotions, neither of us could hide the connection that we shared.

We couldn’t deny the pull we had towards each other.

Giving into that pull I lean up against his leg as the trucks engine roars to life before it takes off with a hard jerk forward.

“Are you alright, Parker?”
London checks in.

“I’m fine, London. I’ll be fine.”
I reassure him.

The connection between us stays open as our short ride comes to an end and the trucks stop just outside of a thick forest of trees.

The Hunters jump off of the trucks and wait for both London and I to join them.

Blue steps forward and motions to a spot just in front of the trucks. “This was the last place I saw my sister.”

Nodding my head once I move over to the place he pointed out with London at my side.

“Do you smell anything human here?”
He asks.

“I don’t smell anything.”
I reply.

It was odd considering that Blue seemed certain that his sister had been here.

“This feels almost like a trap, Parker.”
London states growing worried.

“If it is a trap we can run into the trees. They will never be able to keep up with us.”
I reply.

“I really hope this isn’t a trap though.”
London sighs.

I nod my head once in agreement.
“We should probably split up in the forest and see if we can’t catch wind of something.”

With a look London nods his wolf head before we break apart and travel into the forest with our teams of Hunters following close behind.

Blue moves next to me as I sniff the ground for any trace of something that would tell us that there had been humans somewhere in the forest.

I was beginning to think this was some sort of trap.

There wasn’t even the faintest scent.

The oddest part of it all was the fact that I couldn’t smell anything.

I couldn’t smell the normal things that you would normally smell in a forest. There was no smell of the dirt or decaying leaves under my nose.

The normal smells in the air were absent as well.

It was as if I was stuck in a glass bubble.

Moving away from the other Hunters I lead Blue over behind a secluded tree before changing forms so I could speak to him.

“What’s wrong?” He asks alarmed at my transformation.

“I don’t know. I can’t smell anything.” I reply with a huff of breath.

“Then we must not be in the right spot. Maybe London is having better luck.” Blue insists.

I shake my head. “Blue, I can’t smell anything. Like nothing at all. I can’t smell the dirt, I can’t smell the leaves.” I pause and lean in to take a deep breath to catch his scent. “I can’t even smell you.”

Blue’s face scrunches for a moment, deep in thought.

A moment later he looks up to me with cruel eyes. “You must be really messed up then, wolf.”

I growl and get into his face. “Call me wolf one more time and I will show you what my wolf can do to a stupid human like you.” I warn.

Grinning Blue grabs my throat cutting off my air for a moment. “Don’t even think that you can challenge me, wolf. You belong to me.”

A split second later he kisses me before tossing me back onto the ground.

Changing into my wolf form I rush back at him and knock him onto his back as I place his neck in-between my teeth.

When he gives up I pull back and change into my human form once more.

Standing to my feet I take a few steps back.

I watch Blue get up onto his own feet but look away when someone screams out in the distance as shots ring out.

Blue and I share a look before running in the direction of the scream.

I change into my wolf form as we encounter a fight between humans.

The men we had encountered were wearing the same outfits that the men at the Island had been wearing.

London and I fight side by side as bullets wiz past and Hunters scream out in pain.

Before I know it London takes down the last enemy and kills him with a quick bite to his throat.

I pant hard as I search the area for Blue.
