Montana rose from his seat, “We’ve got some new new shit. It’s twice the amount we had before with twice the purity. We need to move all of this shit in one month and up our game, thus upping our money. The more we move and the faster, the better for you. You dig?” He removed the tarp from atop of the hundred kilos sitting on the wooden crates.
The crowd leaned forward with interest as the goons toted their AK’s in the air allowing them to know not to pull anything stupid. I wasn’t concerned though. These motherfuckas knew that without me there was no them, so they had to abide by the laws or get left six feet deep. Before I was only able to move twenty five keys a month because Mata Amigos prices were so high they were killing me. Now that I was fucking with Raul, I knew for a fact that I was about to be on and poppin’ much greater than that.
“If I eat, we all eat and y’all know that. So we’re rebranding. There’s no more Q. I’m only Q in front of motherfuckas who are not us. Otherwise, I’m Phantom. No explanation needed,” I spoke as everyone shook their heads understanding where I was coming from. “So if there are no further questions, let’s get this paper.”
The goons distributed the keys to the heads of the hot spots. Bunny darted in the line for her chance to get a piece of the pie as well. I pulled her to the side pulling Montana as well. He knew who she was from seeing her around the club but he had no idea why I had brought her up in this top secret meeting. Bunny stood with her head held down like she was humbly awaiting the words that would spit from my lips.
“Montana, I want you to find our girl here some work. Show her the ropes, give her the rules, and most importantly teach her how to become a boss.” I eyed him.
“Fo sho, Phantom. I got you. But you sure she good though?” Montana asked sizing her up obviously liking what he was viewing.
“Try me. I’m down for whatever,” Bunny lifted her head up with confidence chucking it to the ceiling. “Soon you’ll be calling me Queenie. The only people who will know Bunny will be them niggas that need that work. I’m loyal as fuck. I just need a chance to show you what I can do.”
“Hmm. Is that right?” Montana replied looking impressed. “Alright Queenie. Come with me baby girl.”
They pimped off towards the work as my cell phone rang. It was Daisy. I hadn’t seen her in a few days as I was trying to get my sets together in preparation for this meeting. But now that it was over and the wheels were in motion, I needed to get at her before she thought I was on bullshit with her. I thought about her every second but business had to be handled.
“Hey baby girl,” I answered.
“Hey you. I’m surprised you answered. I wasn’t going to call at first,” she sighed through the phone. “I know you’re a busy man and all and I didn’t want to disturb you.”
“You could’ve called me two days ago and I would’ve answered for you. I’m never too busy for your call.” I hoped that made her blush.
“I didn’t catch you at a bad time, did I?” She asked.
“Are you hungry, Daisy?”
“Um, yeah I guess I could eat.”
“Alright. I’ll be there in twenty minutes. Dress real nice for me,” I told her licking my lips, mouth watering just thinking about them hips. "You got me, baby?"
“I got you.”
Chapter 10
Daisy
Moments Later
Instantly after hanging up the phone, I jetted to the closet to pick out what I would wear. Thankfully, I had already taken a fresh shower just in case I ran into him outside today. My closet was full of clothes and shoes that I adored. I pulled out my red Prada pleated dress and paired it with my gold Prada purse and matching strappy sandals. Rather than flat iron my hair I decided to leave it in its curly state playing it up by beating my face to the gods.
Usually it took women hours to get dressed but as I lathered up lotion smearing it on my legs making them real nice and shiny, I was able to do it in twenty minutes flat. Heading down the stairs, mom and her man were sitting on the couch laughing while they watched Family Guy. Every time I saw her smile it made me happy that she found someone else to treat her like daddy did.
“And where are you going at this hour young lady?” Momma asked in a playful tone.
“I don’t know,” I breathed and giggled at the same time. “All I can tell you is that I’ve got a date.”
“Oh my gosh. My baby has a date.” Momma’s excitement kind of brought mine down a notch. “So when will I get my grandbabies?”
“Awe momma. Don’t take it there. At least let me get through the date first,” I joked.
“Well who is this guy? Is this the same guy that just whisked you away to Colombia at a moments notice?” She stood coming to help fiddle with my hair while I glared in the hall mirror.
“Yes momma. You know him. It’s the guy who lives next door,” I said shooing her hand away.
“Yes! Now we can be together and I won’t have to miss you when he takes you away from me and makes you his bride.” Momma poked out her lip pretending to be sad.
“Ma!” I tugged away from her. “You’re jumping light years further ahead than we are right now. Let me get through tonight please.”
The doorbell rang scaring the shit out of me. My eyes lowered hoping he didn’t hear that whole embarrassing scene. Momma anxiously yanked the door open greeting him with a big bright smile perched upon her face. If nothing else made me nervous, this did. All I could do was pray that this woman didn’t say anything too embarrassing that would make me regret ever being born.
“Well hello young man,” momma said holding out her hand to introduce herself. “I’m Daisy’s momma and that’s my old man over there. You must be the boy next door.”
“Yes ma’am, I’m Quince. It’s a pleasure and honor to meet you both.” Quince shook her hand with an eager smile on his face. “I see where Daisy gets her beauty. You are a sight for sore eyes if I do say so myself.”
“Oh stop. No go on,” Momma patted her hair like she knew she was the shit.
“Alright momma, well we are late so we need to get going. I’ll talk to you later. Okay?” I scooted out the door before she could say anything incriminating closing the door behind me and breathing a sigh of relief. “Well that was close.”
“Why do you say that? Your mom seems lovely,” Quince said as he held the door open for me to enter the car. “And you are more than stunning tonight.”
“Thank you.” My face lit up from his compliment.
Quince slid in on the other side and pulled off. My phone buzzed like crazy but I had no intention on taking any calls or texts from Embry’s jealous ass. She had the audacity to try and curse me out when I told her ass that I went to Santa Marta with Quince. She claimed she had him first. I told her ass she never had what didn’t want her.
He was never checking for her and if he wanted her she would be with him. She was just mad because I lucked up on a good one and she struck out being a ho. It was high time she learned that not all of her whorish ways would get her the things that she wanted. Instead of looking for a man to fit her lifestyle, she needed to be figuring out a future to fit it.
Quince and I drove through downtown Chicago, coming to a stop at the Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse. The valet took his keys as we stepped out and headed inside. The host escorted us to a secluded table in the far left corner of the restaurant. Quince ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer and grilled lamb chops with whipped potatoes for the both of us for the entrée. He also ordered a bottle of Franciscan Sauvignon Blanc, a fine white wine that rolled smoothly down the back of our throats. As I sat there nibbling on my delicious cuisine, I looked up noticing a young couple laughing and necking.
The female was a beautiful Caucasian woman with long red hair and a figure that most women would kill for. I noticed from across the room that she was elegantly rocking a Harry Winston wedding band on her left ring finger indicating that the couple was married. It forced me to drift off and dream about what it would be like to be happily married with someone I considered my best friend.
I sipped gulps of my wine as the couple held each other in the perfect way revealing their love for one another. I poured another big glass of wine and downed it virtually in one gulp. Quince studied me as I took a few more bites of my tasty morsels staring at them completely now and a bit buzzed from the alcohol. The man stood as his wife got up from the table and headed towards the ladies room.
He sat digging into his food never once looking up to realize that I couldn’t take my eyes off of the two of them completely envious of their love. He was totally and completely in love with his wife and it radiated through him without question. I looked over at Quince noticing he hadn’t taken his eyes off of me.
As I stared back at him I wondered if it was possible for him to love me the same way that husband at the other table loved and respected his wife. I knew I could love a man deeper than any man I’ve ever loved but I had no way of knowing if Quince was the right one. He was turning out to be perfect in every way yet I just needed some kind of sign.
“So is there anything that you want to ask me?” he asked, his utensils scraping his plate.
“No.”
“No?”
“No. Because you’ll only be guarded about the answers. I figure I’ll just learn you the more time we spend with each other.” I stuffed a piece of lamb in my mouth allowing it to melt inside.
“Is that a fact? Well what have you learned so far?”
“Hmm, let’s see. I know you have levels to your personality. I know once someone asks you something too personal you shut down completely but once you get something you’re interested in you light up. I know that whatever you do for work, it allows you to take trips at the drop of a hat. You’re a businessman who doesn’t play about his business.” I sipped my expensive wine. “And, you have great tastes. You’re very culturally diverse and can wear the hell out of a Gucci suit.”
We laughed; we both knew it was the truth. Done with my meal, I took another big gulp from my wine glass when he dropped four $100 bills on the table. There were candlelit tables sending romantic vibes all over the restaurant creating the mood for us. I signaled for the waiter and ordered something a little harder to get my nerves from stirring so much, an Amaretto Sour with light ice. That would ensure that I didn’t get plastered before I could get a good conversation in with him but still put me at ease.
I wanted to know everything about this man from his birthmark to his underwear size. The more I knew about him the more I could please him and keep him happy if a strong relationship was to bloom. Just as the waiter was placing my drink down in front of me, I glanced up catching Quince’s observation of me. He stood walking slowly over to me with a very daunting serious look on his face. He didn’t seem happy to see me take a sip of the drink set before me but held out his hand for mine.
“Dance with me,” Quince said as I placed my hand in his and cued the bartender to turn the music up.
“Well good thing the restaurant is virtually empty or this would be a little awkward huh?”
“Naw, it would be perfect.”
His eyes glistened in the moonlight shining in from the large window. The water helped bounce the reflection through creating an ambiance to die for. Quince leaned in to kiss me. Every time he did it felt like heaven. My pussy pulsated heavily. I wanted him right then and there. Dancing may not have been awkward but fucking him on the dinner table just might have.
I couldn’t get the visions of him fucking me out of my head. I thought of him bending me over on the table and pulling my hair from the back fucking me rough and hard. All I had to do was hike my dress up and allow him to slide his dick in me nice and slow then speed it up banging every part of my uterus out until I came.
“What you thinking about?” Quince whispered in my ear.
“Huh, oh…uh. Nothing.” My palms grew sweaty. He smelled so damn good as he leaned in to gently peck my neck.
“You’ve got to be thinking about something. I can feel the heat off you.”
Yeah, my pussy is hot as fuck for you.
“Nothing, I’m just…always nervous around you.”
“Why is that, baby?”
Cause your fucking deep ass voice soaks my panties and your touch makes my nipples hard.
“Just being this close to you. That’s all. It’s been a while since I’ve dated.”
“I feel you. I feel something when I’m close to you too.”
“That’s what I don’t get, Quince. You were a big ol’ playa and now you’re just this sweet, kind gentle man. What makes me know that you won’t break my heart like the rest of them?”
“Because, they ain’t you.” He pecked my lips one sweet time and I liquefied. "A million of them will never compare to just one of you."
“So you just needed the right woman to come in and chip away that ice block you call a heart, huh?” I smiled looking deep into his sultry eyes.
“Now you know me.” He pulled me so tightly that I thought I would explode into his arms.
Chapter 11
Quince
The Next Minute
I inserted my tongue in her mouth wishing it were her pussy. I stroked my tongue over that plump bottom lip she had and she smiled loving it. In fact, her lush mouth had incited more than one fantasy. Over and over, I had imagined how she would look on her knees with those sensual lips parted and taking me deep. Even the thought incited me to urge her lips apart and demand entry.
