Do you know for sure that it’s the Morins?” Prime Commander KydEL asked.

There is no one else that it could be,” Prime ConEL said.

The other males nodded their agreement.  “
We will need to combine all our resources to help monitor and protect all three nations,” Prime Leader RendEL said.  “Okay, let’s meet the day after tomorrow.  My mate will be in a bad mood if I don’t help watch the girls while she gets her hair done.  I do not see what the big deal is.  You just brush your hair and go.”  All the males nodded that they understood.

One minute was too long.  However, I was asked if you would mind speaking with someone.”

She tilted her head to the side.  “
Who?”

Prime Leader RendEL requested to speak with you.”

n't want to confront the man that her irrational side blamed for what happened to her.  She knew that it wasn’t his fault but she still felt resentful.

You don't have to speak with him.  I will tell him that you refused.” 

Lola grabbed his arm as he turned to leave.  “
No, I’ll talk to him.”

“
Are you sure?”  LarIS caressed her face with such gentleness.

“
Yes.” She turned to place a quick kiss to his hand.

LarIS escorted her back to the spot
where he left RendEL.  The male looked so serious.  He should be, it was a serious matter that was about to be talked about.

“
Let us go to a more private location,” Leader RendEL said as he motioned for them to go outside onto the balcony.  He closed the door behind them and directed them to a bench so Lola could sit down.  The two males stood.

“
I haven’t been formally introduced to you yet.  I am Prime Leader RendEL.  Welcome to Katiera.”  He looked at LarIS for translation.  He didn’t know how the silent language worked.

Lola used her hands to communicate and LarIS interpreted it for her.  “
It is nice to meet you too.  You have a lovely home.”

RendEL spoke to LarIS
, “I wish to speak with you about your attack.”

Lola frowned.  She signed
, “Please speak directly at me.  If I can see your lips then I can read what you are saying.”

My apologies,” RendEL said sincerely, looking directly at her.

Lola felt bad immediately.  “
It’s not your fault.  You are not used to dealing with someone who is like me.  What is it that you wanted to discuss?”  She didn’t want to talk about the Morins.  However, the more she was forced to do so, the easier it became.

I wanted to extend by deepest apologies for what had befallen you at the hands of the Morins.  We were unprepared for an attack of that magnitude.  I am responsible and am willing to offer amends however that I can.”

So many things were running through her head.  She took a deep breath and then let it out slowly before she spoke
with her hands as LarIS interpreted, “It was not your fault.  It took time for me to realize that.  But I do not blame you or Katiera for what happened.”

RendEL sighed a relief.  He wasn
’t sure if the female would hate him and his people.  “My people would still like to offer you an amendment.”

“
What kind of amendment?” LarIS asked before Lola could.

“
We would like to offer you any choice of residence here on Katiera.  We have many fine suites but there are more secluded homes on the shores of the waters of Katiera.  You can chose.”

LarIS growled aggressively at RendEL.  “

IS interpreted for her.  “She says that she appreciates the offer, but she must decline at this time.”

If you chose to take the offer, just let me know.  I will leave you to enjoy the rest of the evening.”  RendEL bowed as he excused himself to return to the ballroom.

Neither of them spoke for a while.  LarIS paced back and forth, he had closed his thoughts off to Lola.  He had never done that before.  She worried about them.  Would this be the end?  She wished he would throw something or ye
