After failing the metal detector for the third time Van was finally allowed to enter the visiting room.

Q was already there and watched her as she walked toward him on the other side of the three inch thick glass. As soon as their eyes met she smiled a smile that said, "I Love You."

The low cut Capri Jeans and three inch open toe heels she wore made her appear a little taller to Q, but nothing could hide or deny her hour glass figure and flawless chocolate skin.

Damn," Q mumbled to himself as they both reached simultaneously for the speaker phone hanging on each side of the thick glass.

"Hey love," Van spoke first through the phone.

"Whassup shawty? What's good? Did you have any trouble getting in today?" Q said asking a trio of questions at once.

"Baby, this is my third outfit today," she said tugging at her shirt.

"Them two bitches working that damn metal detector need to be introduced to my friend," she continued complaining while patting the spot where she kept her baby "nine mill,"

"Shawty, you crazy yo," Q said laughing.

"I'm dead serious love.... if it wasn't for another female officer passing through.... I don't know what might have happened," she said with a heavy sigh.

"Passing through Q asked," referring to the officer who'd supposedly helped her.

"Yea, I think she was on her way home or sum 'em."

Q's thoughts instantly turned to Officer Jones and he wondered if she had somehow walked up on Van's situation. He thought of asking more questions but decided against it.

During their visit which was only an hour a day Q mostly sat and listened while Van did most of the talking. She told him the latest on the rest of the crews State Conspiracy charges, visiting each of them as did the rest of the girls within the crews circle. Relaying message after message.

"So how's the rest of the crew holding up Ma?" Q asked.

"Everybody seems to be keeping it together except June," Van said.

"June?"

"Yeah love, June," she repeated. "Pandora walked into the visiting room while some chick name Keshia was there.... ALL HELL broke loose and the latest gossip on the streets is that Keshia’s no good ass friend Candi opened her project house on Long Drive to some up state niggas."

"What that have to do with Keshia?" Q asked.

"Well, you know how June feel about outta state nigga's Q?"

"Yeah Ma, but hell everybody knows that.... even Keshia."

"That's my whole point Q," Van continued saying.

"Word is Keshia suppose to be dealing with one of the main suppliers."

"Suppliers?" Q asked.

Van stared at Q for a moment almost forgetting that she was his only source to the streets.

"Sorry love, I forgot to mention how these same nigga's have laid claim to the crews old stomping ground.... East Washington Street."

"What!!!" Q yelled into the phone.

Q sat and listened as Van told him how these New York nigga's had waged an all out war on all the corner hustlers on the Block.

When the crew left the game, several younger cat's, most of whom use to look up to the P.G. Crew, saw their departure from the game as a come up for themselves. Before long these same young cats had formed their own gang.... The 919 Boyz, based off their area code.

Well the New York niggas came through and starting laying these young boys down. Remember the young nigga Peanut? They shoot him in front of his grandma’s house, "In cold blood."

"Look Ma.... get me out of this fuckin jail," he said through clenched teeth. Ain’t no way these nigga coming down here running shit. I don’t mind nobody getting money, but not on the work I put in. Nigga’s got to stand on their own two.

"We working on getting you out of here baby. We just got to get up the rest of this money. Mr. Williams keeps calling and everytime he calls he needs more money. We already gave him $175,000 on top of the $300,000 you had on retainer with him.

I know shawtey, but this is the game” You take all the risk and they get all the pay. You just make sure the niggas that owe the Crew know if they don’t settle up with you I will be home to get mines and more."

"Well I got some help on the way"

Help” Q asked.

"Yes help.... I have to pick Baby Rasta and Inga up at the airport in about an hour," she said with a wicked grin plastered on her face.

"Don't worry Q I'll take care of everything," Van said standing to leave.

Chapter 2

[Help Is On The Way]

Twenty minutes, the pilot announced over the airlines intercom. We will be arriving at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in approximately twenty minutes, he repeated again before signing off.

Inga gazed out the small window of the passenger plane. Her mind drifting back to the many sleepless nights she'd encountered over the past several weeks. Night after night Baby Rasta would be awakened by her screams and found himself having to pull Inga from her sweat laden covers. Neither her nor -Baby could figure out what was causing the nightmares which had became so violent Baby Rasta was forced to sleep in the same bed with her because he feared she would hurt herself.

Finally against Baby Rasta's will Inga made a trip to one of the villages they once called Home on the out-skirts of town. She visited the hut of the woman with many names. All through the village she was known as the lady who'd escaped Death....

AAH," she spoke to Inga in a low haggard voice. "The little girl with the venom running through her veins."

Inga shyly smiled remembering the name "Poison" the old Witch-Doctor had given her many years before she claimed her first victim.

After reading her palms the Voo-doo Doctor informed Inga that someone she loved was in trouble. She was at a lost when the lady spoke these words. Inga had no family except Baby Rasta, who was fine. She was about to correct the ageless Witch-Doctor, but the old woman's frail hand stopped her. She closed her eyes undoubtedly having another vision....

She spoke.... "My spirits keep revealing to me a young man,... A nice looking young man.... very handsome."

"But I...." Inga started to speak but was cut off again by the old lady.

"Do you know of anyone with markings on their right arm? It looks something like a rare tattoo or maybe a large scar," she continue.

When the Voo-doo Doctor opened her eyes, Inga was gone....

The next morning after once again climbing from sticky covers Inga revealed to Baby Rasta what the weather beaten old lady had told her. Baby immediately dialed Q's cell phone.... no answer. After texting him it took less than an hour for Van to text him back with the news of his arrest.

Inga packed her belongings and hurried to the airport to catch the first flight out.

Still lost in her thoughts her mind wandered recklessly back to the unforgettable night she'd last shared with Q. A night that she had relived thousands of times beneath the covers of her own bed. The way he'd allowed her the pleasure of exploring his entire body before powerfully, but gently taking control.

"Hummmm..." she moaned from his taste which never left the back of her throat.

"Ras'scot roun.... did you hear de boom ba clot pilot mun?" Baby Rasta said snapping Inga back to the present.

"You scared me Ras," she said turning from the window facing him.

"Why ye sweating mun? Baby Ras cold as ever."

Inga smiled at her baby brothers comment while thinking to herself.... 'Baby Brother, if you only knew.'

"Have a seat Baby Brother," Inga said patting the seat next to her.

"We will be landing in about fifteen minutes," she continued.

"Alret mun, but no seat belt for me " Rasta replied.

Van.... Inga.... Tee.... Terri.... Elbony.... Kiki and Baby Rasta all lounged in Tee's office discussing their next move.

"Where is Pandora?" Van asked Terri.

"Pandora's grandmother isn't doing very well, so she made the decision to fly back to Washington to care for her for a few days."

"Yeah," said Van.

"Yeah, but don't get it messed up Van.... Pandora made it perfectly clear that as soon as her grandmother was able to -wipe her own ass she would be back to get her man and check some bitch that's been violating her space."

Van laughed at Terri's comment before responding.

"Well whoever the bitch is, she betta have her shit together cause Pandora will slice her ass da' fuck up."

"Fo real," Terri agreed.

"Damn," Tee said interrupting Van and Terri's conversation.

"I almost forgot, June called and said that the Grand Jury was having another Evidence Hearing on the charges against him."

"Doesn’t he have the same charges as the rest of the Crew ?" Van asked Tee.

"No.... All the evidence at the condo Tim insisted belonged to him, so they didn’t have anything else on June. So the lawyer trying to get the charges against him dropped."

Meanwhile while the girls were in the middle of their discussion about June, he was being escorted to the courtroom to stand before the Magistrate Judge who happened to be the same Judge who'd dismissed the murder charges against him a little over a year ago.

"All Rise," the Bailiff yelled to everyone in the court Room.

"Mr. Cummings, you may present your evidence to the Court."

After all the evidence had been presented to the court and the Defense Attorney pleaded his case the Judge rendered his decision.

"Mr. Hill, I'm not sure whether I should say today is your lucky day or you have nine lives. Either way as I have said to you before, murderers and drug dealers are at the top of my list and I personally prosecute them to the full extent of the law. Unfortunately once again the court has failed to produce enough evidence -to charge you -with any crime."

"Me.... Mr. Hill.... I personally feel that you were involved in both of these crimes in some way, but I will not let my personal opinion cloud my judgment or my decision today."

"I will offer you a bit of advice young man for your sake, please never let me see you in my court room again.... not even for jaywalking. You are free to go..." Rap.... Rap.... Rap.... "courts adjourned."

Within an hour June was in and out of his small apartment, his mind set on only a couple of things. That was getting his blood family out of jail and dealing with these niggas violating their set.

"Aight Lil Sis," he said pushing his Mac-10 down inside his already sagging jeans.... "I'm good, I'll call you...."

"No...." Van, Inga, and the rest of the girls all said at once cutting him off.

"But Lil Sis, I can't let any of y'all get involved in this shit cause it's about to get ugly."

"Look June," Van said.... "It got ugly when they locked my man up in that damn jail.... Who did you expect to help yo' black ass when you were in there.... Huh?"

June could only stare at them all.

"That's what tha fuck I thought," Van continued.

"And yes Big Brotha, it is about to get very ugly for every mothafucka that had sum 'em to do with my entire life rotting in that Hell Hole."

"Now -tell me.... do we have to start with this bitch Keshia or what?" Van asked him.
