“Shit too late. She’s headin’ over. Best smile.”

“Madison Parks! You look amazing dear.” Leona greeted. Madison stood.

“Leona.” They gave each other quick kisses to the cheeks. “Hello Victoria.”

                      “Hey girl.”

“So congrats on the nomination. You must let me design you a gown for that night.”

“Uh...sure thing. Why not? I haven’t even started to look.” Leona smiled then looked towards the host, who was waving.

“Oh our table is ready but we must sit down sometime okay. You can get my number from Vicky.”

“Okay.” Leona walked away, leaving Victoria behind. “You look good Vic.”

“Thanks. I feel like a whale and I’m only three months pregnant.”

“Really? Congrats.” Tammy rolled her eyes and looked at her pizza. “I bet Sutton’s happy.”

“He is when he’s around. Lately I feel like I never see my husband anymore. I just wish I knew what was going on with him.” Tammy nudged Madison’s leg.

“I’m sure he has his reasons.”

“Excuse me Mattie. I’m goin’ to the bathroom.” Tammy scooted out the booth. Once behind Victoria back and made the gesture to spill the beans. Madison sighed.

“Have a seat.” They slid back into the booth.

“Mattie what’s wrong? You should be happy you have a lot going for you right now.” Victoria said.
I know I should be. But I’m fucking your husband and I want out.

“Well the reason…”  Madison’s phone vibrated. She opened her purse and it was Sutton calling. She quickly ignored the call. “Sorry. Victoria” The phone went off again and she hit the ignore button again. “I swear this phone never stops.”

“I bet. How do you do it? I would go crazy. Bad enough I have Leona blowing me up asking my input on things.” She laughed. Waves of guilt swept over Madison. Her phone went off again. “Okay. I’m going to mute that thing.” She reached over and grabbed the phone.

                      “Wait!” Victoria’s face frowned.

“Why is Sutton calling you? You have three missed calls from him.”

“I’ve been having affair with him. I wanted to tell you. It’s over now but he…”  She didn’t see the slap coming, but she felt the sting against her face. Victoria stared at her.

“I knew he was doing something but with you?!” She spat.

“I’m sorry Victoria!” She jumped up from the booth.

“No you’re not. Stay away from me and my husband, you whore!” She started to walk away then look back at Madison. “Smile for the cameras whore.” She walked away. Madison looked up and saw the staring eyes of the whole restaurant.

Chapter 3

Victoria sat in the recliner, waiting for her unfaithful husband to walk through the door. She shook with anger. She jingled her leg to stop her from punching something. All of the people, he had to fuck her. Hollywood actress. Ms. Perfect with her millions. Why the fuck would he jump into her bed? She wondered how long have they been fucking? The thought made her skin crawl.

“Where the hell is he?!” She screamed, her voice echoing off the wall. He didn’t even bother to come home last night. She was pissed. Everything became clear. Even the little comment Maxine had made a while back. She wished now that she did more than slap that bitch. Her adrenaline kicked in when she heard the keys in the door. She jumped up, ready to go ten rounds.

“Vicky I’m home.”

“In here.” He came through the doorway and she grabbed flower pot, flinging it at him with all her might.

“What the hell?!” He ducked and it slammed into the wall behind him. “What the fuck yo problem?!”

“My problem?! How about everyone there is to know and my fuckin’ job knows you fuckin’ Madison! Explain that shit!”

“Where you get that shit?”

“Bitch told me herself. I was there when yo dumb ass kept callin’ her fuckin’ phone. How long?”

“What?”

“You heard me. How long?” Sutton came towards her.

“Baby listen.”

“Don’t touch me!” She slapped his hands away. “Don’t touch me. I swear to God. How long?”

“A year.” He admitted. She felt herself go faint.

“A year?! How could you do this to me? After all I sacrifice for you. I work all day. Make sure we have a nice life together and this is what you do.”

“Baby I’m sorry.” He grabbed her by the arms.

“Let me go!” She pushed him away and swung, connecting her fist to his face. “Get out!” She swooned and clutched her stomach. “Oh god!”

“What?”

“Just get out! Leave my house!” Sutton slowly backed out of the room, and went outside to his car. He slid in behind the wheel and slammed his fist against the steering wheel. He was a man that lost everything. His cool, Madison, and worst of all, Victoria and her trust. He had so many things to do. One was to track Madison down. Then try to make things work with his wife. He glanced at the clock on his dashboard. It was ten thirty-four. Madison would be on set, still filming her movie. Hopefully, she didn’t let the front gate know about their so called break-up if so he could still get in. He started his car and drove over to his studio. So many emotions and things going on in his head. He pulled up to the security booth.

“Hey is Madison on the lot?” he asked.

“Yeah. Got here an hour ago. Go on in Mr. Jackson.” He nodded and cruised in. He stashed his car in the usual spot and went hunting for her trailer. If only he could leave her alone, that would solve all his problems. As he got closer to her trailer, he slowed down. One last time then he would go home to his wife. Sutton reached for her door handle when he heard a thump inside. He leaned over to peek in the small window. A bare back stared back at him. A male bare back with Madison’s legs wrapped around it. Her face screwed up with pleasure. The bare back continued to slam into Madison. Sutton took a step back. His chest heaved up and down.
She really turned her back on me,
he fumed. He yanked open the door and went inside.

“This is the shit you do!” he yelled.

“Sutton?!” She scrambled free from the male and yanked her dress down. “What are you doing here?! I thought I told you to stay away from me!”

“Naw forget all that. Who is this? Huh? Damn girl you move fast. You tell Victoria now you got random dudes up in here.”

“Ty is not random. You need to leave before I call security. Now!” she snapped.

“Look man get out of here. She said what she had to say.”

“Ty It’s okay. I’m calling security.”

“It’s cool baby blue. You’ll be callin’ me again and when you do I’ll be waitin’. Undercover whores always come back.” Madison gasped and tears filled her eyes. Sutton turned and left the trailer, heading towards his car.

Madison’s heart pounded in her chest.
Undercover whore. Was that what I am? I’m trying to so hard to not let my past get to me.

“Are you okay?”

“I will be. I need to be alone.” He nodded and threw his shirt on, walking out the door. The tears that she held in fell down her cheeks. All the pain and secrets she harbor broken through. She couldn’t hide her secrets any longer.

The door opened slowly. Thirteen-year old Madison was sleeping. Nick Parks stood in the doorway looking at his only daughter. His eyes swept the room. Toys everywhere.
What a spoiled thing,
he thought. He walked into the room and stopped at the bed, reeking of beer. He took a deep breath and stared. She grew up so beautifully. A little sample wouldn’t hurt before she went out into the world and gave it out for free. He slid under the covers with her and pulled her close to his body.

“Dad?” she asked sleepily.

“Mom and I had a fight so I’m sleeping with you okay princess.”

“Okay.” She mumbled, falling back to sleep. He took his hand and ran it along her body. The girl at thirteen had full breasts and a figure that was still developing. He grabbed a fistful of her panties and ripped them from her body. She woke up, startled. “Dad?!”

“You be a good little girl and stay still.” Fear crept up on her. “Princess you’re a woman now and there are things a woman has to do.” With that, he pushed her back on back and pried her legs open.

“Daddy what are you doing?!” He tried to kiss her. His beer breath made her sick. “No! Daddy please!” Nick broke all bonds between a father and daughter by jamming himself into his thirteen year old daughter, who screamed. He covered her mouth.

“No. No. Daddy’s little princess doesn’t scream.” He slurred, letting go of her mouth while tearing deeper into her body.

“You’re hurting me.” She cried, tears falling down her cheeks.

“Shut up!” She scratched his face and he responded by slapping her across the face. She began to scream at the top of her lungs.

“MOM! MOMMM!”

“She’s not here. Now stop all that screaming you little slut!” He was so busy trying to keep her quiet he forgot to pull out when he came and didn’t realize until after he released in her after he was done, leaving her both crying and bleeding. “You be a good girl and go back to sleep.” He got off the bed and staggered out of the room. Madison huddled up in the middle of her bed, crying and in pain.

“Ms. Parks! You’re needed on set. Oh my god! Are you okay?” Madison stared at Carle in the mirror. Her face covered in tears, tears that were for the little girl robbed of her innocence so long ago. She jumped to reality.

“Yes. I’m fine. I’ll be right out.”

“Are you sure? I can tell the director to give you some more time.”

“I’m coming. Let me freshen up please.” Carle slowly backed out of the trailer while Madison continued to stare at herself. She had to stay a good person. She couldn’t go back to being the whore her father made her to be. She glanced into the mirror one more time and walked out her trailer. Ty stood, waiting outside the door.

“Are you okay? Who is that guy?” He asked concerned.

“Just an ex that won’t leave me alone. I’m sorry about all that back there.”

“It’s forgotten.” She smiled a smile that never reached her eyes.

Chapter 4

Madison decided to take Tammy and Ty as her support squad to the Oscars that night. She couldn’t bear to face the whole world alone. Ty been in her life on a personal level for two months and it’s been nice. Sutton seem to gotten the message and left her alone for the most part. Millions of thoughts were going through her head, which was why she was sitting stiff in the back of the limo.

“Pete turn this thing around!” Madison demanded.

“Why?” Tammy asked.

“Can’t.”

“You can’t. If you don’t get yo ass out there.” She threatened.

“We’re here.” The limo slowed to a stop. The door opened and blinding light greeted their eyes. Madison took a deep breath and stepped out into the madness.

“MADISON PARKS JUST ARRIVED ACCOMPANIED BY A FRIEND AND HANDSOME MAN!” The crowd cheered. A reporter waved her over to the camera.

“Ms. Parks! Are you nervous?” Madison threw on her best smile.

“Yeah very nervous.”

“So the whole world wants to know, who’s the hot guy you’ve been spotted with everywhere? People had you, US weekly had you, even Seventeen covered a spread.” The reporter asked.

“He’s my boyfriend, Ty. We’ve been dating for a few months now. Started out as a fling then wow.”

“Can we get a picture?” Ty pulled her close, making her feel safe again while they smiled for a few shots.

“Can we go in now?” he asked through gritted teeth. “They’re starting to make me nervous and this ain’t my night.” She nodded and followed the usher into the theater. They found their seats in the second row.

“Happy now Ty? I was enjoying being on camera so when I walk into a show people would recognize me.” Tammy murmured.

“Your friend is crazy.”

“I know she is that’s why I love her.”

“I hope you win tonight.” He whispered in her ear.

“Why? It’s just an award.”

“Everyone on your team will be happy and it’s a big life achievement.”

“I’ll be sure to say thank you for you were the one who drove me to my very first movie.” She kissed him and relaxed a bit. The theater began to fill and the voices became louder. The lights went down and the host took to the stage, talking to the crowd. He cracked a few jokes about some fellow stars who’s been in trouble that year. Laughter filled the room.

“Alright the first two presenters are the stars of new movie coming soon, Alexander’s Hate please welcome Cassie Trachen and Mel Thomas.” The crowd clapped as the couple took the stage. Their mouths were moving but she couldn’t hear them. Her mind was elsewhere. Back in her past, where it didn’t belong.

**************************************

She needed answers. Something was going on with her. Since her father first attacked her two months ago, she became withdrawn and pale. She could hear her mother, pacing outside the bathroom on the phone with one of her workers from her store. The pacing made her nervous. Her stomach heaved and she threw up the contents of her stomach in the toilet.

“I will call you back.” The door open. “Bebe que pasa? You sick?” Josefina asked.

“A little.”

“You hungry? I can make you something. I’ll be right back.” Madison flushed the toilet and sat down, sighing. She was thirteen but not an idiot. She knew she was in trouble when she missed two periods in a row. She was pregnant by her own father. How would she tell him? What would he do to her when he found out? When she finally did get the courage to tell him, he snapped and hit her across the face. She blacked out from the hit then woke up hours later in a clinic, completely out of it. Madison snapped out of memory lane. The rest was too painful to think about. Later she found out that whatever the abortion doctor and her father did had damaged her so much that she would never be able to have a child. She turned to Ty and smiled. That’s her past and he was her future.

“The nominees for best actress are….” Tom Rosen, who was an academy award winner actor himself, spoke. The screen behind him flashed clips each actresses work.

“Diana Rowling...Madison Parks…Violet Adams...and Sasha Dobson.”

“And the Oscar goes to….” Tom opened the envelope. Madison exhaled and closed her eyes. “MADISON PARKS!” The room erupted in clapping and screams. Madison sat frozen in her chair until Tammy pulled her up.

“Mattie you won! Go up there silly!” She cried and hugged her friend. Madison went on stage, taking her award then standing before the hot burning lights.

“I would like to thank everyone who believes in me. I want to thank my mom and best friend, Tammy, who ran lines with me in the early stages. My agent, Jill, for all her hard work. The crews and fans who made it possible for me to be here. And to an important man in my life, Ty you drove me to my first movie being supportive and my biggest critic. Thanks you guys! Love you!” The crowd clapped and Tom led Madison off stage to the winners’ circle.

“Congrats honey.”

“Thanks Jill.”

“I brought your parents. They are over there.” She pointed to a corner booth.

“Thanks. There’s an after-party. Will you be attending?’

“No thanks. I’m going to sit this one out.”

“Alright. Enjoy your night. You deserve it.” Madison smiled and walked over to her parents.

“Hi Mom.” She swooped down, giving her mother a hug.

“Congrats baby. Now where is that man of yours? Nick and I want to meet him.” Josefina said.

“Ty should be coming. Oh there he is. Mom…Dad this is Ty.” Ty walked to her side.

“Hello nice to meet you.”

“Can we get a photo?” A photographer asked, waving his camera. They all stopped to pose for the camera with the Oscar.
