“That’s fine, so what time do you actually start?” he pulls out his
iPhone.

   “N
ow, need anything, you know I’ll be just right there” He points about a meter from me to the door. I shake my head; he leans down and kisses my cheek. He stands up and I look at him.

   “What? Friends
kiss other friends on the cheek” He grins and walks and stands by the door.

  We
talk for about two hours about random stuff when I hear
Everything You Never Had by Breach
come on.

   “
Oh, I love this song. I’m going to dance” I announce and dance over to the tiny dance floor. It already has a couple of people on it. I start moving my hips and raise my arms above my head. I look over at Tyler and see he’s watching me. I smile and sway my hips a little more. I keep eye contact the whole time I’m dancing. He smiles then I see his jaw clench and his eyes harden when some guy comes up and starts dancing behind me. He grabs a hold my hips and starts moving them. I stiffen.

   “
Come on, honey. Dance with me. You were doing fine before”, he says in my ear. I look at Tyler and see he is walking over. Shit.

   “
Mate! I suggest you get your hands off me” I say through clenched teeth. He chuckles.

   “
And why should I do that?”

   “
Well you see him” I nod my head towards Tyler. “He doesn’t really like it if someone touches me. You probably have a few seconds to back away before he drags you away” He chuckles again, wrong choice. Tyler stands in front of me and pulls me to him. He leans down and talks in my ear.

   “You ok, babe?” I
nod; he puts me beside him and glares at the man.

   “Dance with someone else
”, he says. The man laughs and shakes his head. Either he is looking for a fight or he is just plain stupid.

“Did you just laugh at me?” he growls out. The man seems to have realised that none of this was a joke.

“I was just dancing, mate. Chill out. I don’t see your name on her anywhere” he runs his eyes down my body. I glare at him when he finally gets to my face.

“She hasn’t, but I’m telling you
now. Dance. With. Someone. Else”, he grates out.

The song finishes.
I lean into Tyler and pat his chest. He looks down at me and his hardened expression softens.

   “
It’s ok I’ve had my little dance for now. I’ll sit back down and talk to you” I smile at him. He smiles back. I turn to walk back to my table, Tyler turns, and just as he walks away he hears the man talk.

   “Yeah l
isten to the bitch” He sneers. I don’t even get time to tell Tyler not to before he punches the man in the face. I gasp. Tyler has the guy on the floor holding him up by his collar; he gets right in his face.

“Don’t. You. Ever. Call. Her bitch!” he brings his arm back for another punch but I wrap my hand around his arm. He glares back at me but then he stops. He drops the guy and stands to face me. Another bouncer I never noticed comes up and drags the man outside. We just stare at each other. The people that were on the dance floor seem to have given us a wide berth.

I turn and walk back to my table. I go to pick up my drink but remember that it’s been unattended. My brothers would kill me if they found out. They drilled it into me ever since I was old enough to drink. That if you leave your drinks unattended even for a couple of seconds to get another drink. I sit down. Tyler comes and stands next to me.

“Are you pissed at me?” he asks. I sigh.

“Why would I be pissed at you Tyler? I’m glad you came over, but you can’t get mad if another man comes over to me. Remember we are just friends” He glares at me.

   “Not by choice
”, he grumbles out and walks over to stand by the door again. I sigh and watch people dance for the next half hour. I realise, I still don’t have a drink so I walk over to Tyler. He’s talking to the other bouncer. Until I stand in front of him.

“I’m going to the bar, want anything?”

“Just a coke, please and I’ll go for you” He goes to walk to the bar; I put my hand on his chest to stop him. I’m starting to think I’m doing this purposely so I can feel him up. He stops and looks down at me.

   “I’m
quite capable of walking to the bar by myself, thank you very much” He raises his pierced eyebrow. He puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out some notes.

   “Oh. No you don
’t. I can pay for my own drinks” I turn, but before I can even take a step towards the bar. I’m spun around to face him.

   “I offered you out
, so I’m paying for your drinks” I glare at him and he glares back I sigh.

   “F
ine”, he grins. I turn and walk to the bar and get my drink and his. I hand him his drink and change and sit back down. I pick up my phone and have a look through Facebook while he talks to his friend. They need better music here.

****

I’ve got up and danced a couple more times throughout the night, no men have tried to dance with me again, either they saw what happened to the first man or they can see Tyler watching every move I do. I don’t know whether to feel insulted or relived. The way Tyler is watching me; I’m surprised he hasn’t jumped on me yet.

I’ve watched women approach Tyler and flirt, they go the whole shebang, flicking their fake hair and batting their ridiculous eyelashes. He doesn’t even give them a second glance then his gaze is straight back on me. Their faces
are a picture when they see he isn’t interested in them. I’ve had some glares but I shrug it off and either sip my drink or carry on dancing.

  I finish dancing to
Rather Be by Clean Bandit.
And sit back down.

“You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?” Tyler leans down and says in my ear. I shiver and smile.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about” I give him the innocent act. The look on his face says he’s not buying it. I laugh and turn and face him full on.

“What time do you get off?” I ask hitching up my dress.

“Hopefully soon” He smirks and looks at my chest. I narrow my eyes; I asked an innocent question and get a dirty reply. I shake my head. I look him pointedly. He sighs and looks at the clock on the wall behind the bar.

   “
In about half an hour, do you want a drink?” I nod. I slip off my shoes under the table and groan. I feel someone behind me, so I turn around and see Tyler standing there with a lustful expression. I frown.

“What’s up?” he shakes his head and clears his throat.

“What drink would you like?” he seems to have put an invisible mask over his face, it’s quite weird. I haven’t known him long, but it feels like forever.

   “
I’ll just have a coke, please. Need to keep my wits around me” He nods and walks over the bar.

If I didn’t have any sort of control, I know for a fact id be naked and with Tyler in a matter of minutes. My brain is being s
ensible and keeping to what my nan drilled into me at a young age. I’m guessing my parents weren’t one for monogamy. My body on the other hand is in a state of constant arousal.

Tyler brings my drink over and goes and stands by the door again.

“You ok Ty? You seem tense” He looks at me with a mixture of lust and frustration.

“You’ve been wiggling your arse on the dance floor for the better part of the night, you
r dress is short and sexy as hell not to mention the fact that you keep eye contact with me the whole time you’re dancing, so it’s like having my own private dance and if my balls get any more blue, I think they will fall off, and I’m quite attached to them thank you very much”, he says and cups his groin at the last part.

I sit in shock for a couple of seconds and then start laughing.

“This is no funny matter babe. If it wasn’t for your upbringing for not being with taken men, I would have either taken you up against a wall or put your mouth to better use”, he smirks. My laughter dies off pretty quick.

“That shut you up. Didn’t it?” I glare at him. “Back to glaring at me, I see. I t
hought we got over that already” I turn my back on him and huff. Childish I know.

   “Aw
don’t be like that babe. I was just teasing about the glaring” I notice he doesn’t say he’s teasing about the rest of it.

I slip my shoes back on and stand up when I hear
Usher – Yeah
come on, an oldie but goodie. I walk over to the dance floor and start dancing again. I’m doing well for someone who doesn’t dance often.

  I sing with U
sher nearly word perfect. I think I could give him a run for his money.

I smirk when I realise what bit is coming up.

It sings about bending over and touching your toes. I don’t even get a chance to when someone comes up behind me.

“Don’t you dare” Tyler growls in my ear. He clamps his hands down on my hips. When did he walk over?

   “
You nearly made me come in my jeans like a damn teenager with your sexy dancing. You told me you wanted to be just friends. Then why the fuck are you torturing me?” he says in my ear. I try and move away but he has a firm grip on my hips. Not enough to hurt me but tight enough to let me know I’m not moving away from him till he wants me to.

   “
Because I’m frustrated too” I huff out.

   “I would
love to take the frustration out of you babe”, he whispers in my ear.

   “Yo
ur just torturing us both now, you know we can’t” I feel him slide his hands up my sides and his thumb brushes the bottom of my breast. I can’t help but let out a tiny moan. He’s not even touching me properly. Tyler groans in my ear.

“Babe, don’t do that. It’s hard enough as it is. I can’t help mys
elf though. I have to touch you” He pushes his erection to the bottom of my back. He slides his hands down my sides, he slides a hand a little further down and his thumb strokes my pubic bone through my dress. His thumb is so close. Just a couple of inches down his thumb could brush against my clit. He brings a hand up and moves my hair to the side like he did before and he brushes his lips on the bit where my shoulder and neck join. A shiver goes down my spine.

I move my hips so it brushes against his erection his hand goes a little l
ower and skims across my clit.

I tilt my head up and to the side a little and Tyler brings his mouth down on mine. I moan he licks my bottom lip and touch my
tongue to his. He pulls his mouth away.

“Can we continue this when we get back to my place?” he asks with a raspy voice.
I look at him then reality kicks in. Shit!

   “Fuck! You know we can’t
Tyler! You’re engaged! Bollocks!” I quickly run as much as I can in my heels to the bathroom.

I shut the door and lean against it. Damn it! I know I shouldn’t have done that.           I sigh and walk over to the sink and wet my hands. I put them on my overheated cheeks.

  Might as well
go to the toilet while I’m here, I step in to the cubicle and close the door; I do my business and I’m just about to come out the cubicle when I hear two voices.

“Georgina is going to be pissed when she finds out Tyler had his h
ands all over that skank” The first girl says. I narrow my eyes at the door and keep listening.

“She says he hasn’t touched her in three years.
I think she has tried everything but he isn’t interested in her, he seemed fine with the other girl” The second girl says. Tyler hasn’t slept with Georgina in three years? What sort of engagement is that? I know Tyler said he was forced but I still thought he slept with her or something. Is that cheating then if there not even in a proper relationship? He says he doesn’t go near her unless he has to. I frown.

   I hear them finish
whatever they were doing and leave the bathroom. I wait for a couple of minutes; I grab my phone and call a cab.

I leave the bathroom and poke my head round the corner,
I can’t see Tyler. I make a sort of run to the door. I just get outside when I feel a pair of arms go round my waist.

   “
Where the fuck, do you think you’re going?” Tyler growls. He turns me so I face him. There is a mixture of emotions on his face. Most of them I can’t understand.

   “
I’m going home I need time away from you to think” I struggle to get out of his grasp.

“Think about what Cass? Why are you running?”

“I’m not running” I huff out. I don’t see why I said that. I’m clearly running. He raises his eyebrow

   “
Oh really? Then why were you scurrying out the door without even saying bye for one and after what happened on the dance floor” I sigh and put my head down.

“Tyler we’re like a moan away from mauling each other. Maybe the time away can cool
us off” He just glares at me.
