"Changed? Hell fuckin' nol. It was bullshit," I cut in.

"But ain't ya'll..."

"Engaged? Fuck that. I ain't marryin' his sorry ass. He ain't come home last night and shit, so I called his cell phone. He goin' answer the phone like I'm botherin' his ass. It was after twelve and his ass hadn't been home since the day before. Did he think I wouldn't call his stupid ass? He must be fuckin' crazy. Fuck him. Guess what the nigga had the fuckin' nerve to say?"

"What?" She asked.

"That he got drunk and fell asleep at Ace's. He claimed Ace's crib was close by and he didn't want to have to drive all the way to Lithonia. He full of shit for real. I must look stupid to him."

"Damn, Ablo fuckin' up." Princess shook her head.

"He sho' is and if I find out it's goin' be his ass. I'm through for real this time Princess. I ain't got time for his ass to be cheatin' on me and disrespectin' me like I ain't been the one who stuck wit' his ass all these years. He don't believe I'll leave him. That's why he keep doin' it. I'm goin' show his ass."

Our waitress returned to take our orders.

"He love you though Yanna. I don't know what to tell you. Do what you feel. Shit, if I can keep my legs closed and be faithful anybody can."

We laughed. "It's like this Princess. After seven years I thought he'd grow the fuck up. He the one talkin' 'bout marriage and bein' faithful and he the main one out there fuckin' every bitch wit' a pussy. Does the fact that I ain't cheated on him once mean anything to him? I love him P. I don't know how to love nobody else," I said.

"You ain't gotta love nobody to fuck Yanna. Shit, all the fuck you need is raw physical attraction. You ain't had no other dick to compare to Ablo. His dick might not even be all that great," Princess laughed. "Have he done anything else to make you think he livin' foul?" She asked.

"Hell yeah. Girl, he be comin' home smellin' like he just took a shower. One night he came in and I wanted to fuck, but he didn't. He claimed that he was too tired, and that nigga ain't never too tired. He wouldn't even let me suck his dick. That's a dead giveaway. I think he had a bitch over the weekend ma had a weekend pass and we stayed at Maya's. When I got home I found one fake ass gold hoop earring on the floor by the bed. I asked him 'bout it and he claimed that Mira came over and borrowed sumthin' out of my closet. He talkin' 'bout it probably fell outta her ear and she didn't know. He claimed he forgot to tell me. I called Mira and she said she did come to get her purple Jimmy Choo pumps that she left over there, but she ain't drop no fake earring 'cause she don't wear no fake shit. That nigga must've thought I wouldn't ask her. Once again he got me twisted," I said looking out of the window. For the first time in a long time I saw El. It was early October and he was across the street hugged up with some light skinned chick.

"Ain't that that nigga El?" Princess asked following my gaze.

"Uh huh," I said watching as he brushed the woman's auburn hair out of her face. She got into a black BMW and closed the door. As the car drove off he walked in our direction. He walked inside and sat down at the bar. He looked at me and winked his eye. He mouthed the words "I want you." My body over heated, but I tried to ignore it.

Princess looked at me and smiled. "You know you like that shit bitch."

"Please, if I fucked him Ablo would flip."

"How the fuck would he know?"

"Shit, I would know and El would know. That's already too many people."

"You been wit' the same nigga for almost eight fuckin' years. Try some other dick. Shit, it ain't like Ablo ain't had his share of new pussy. Fuck him and what the fuck he think. Shit, it's all about you. That's how the fuck you need to be thinkin'. Shit, you know you got some good pussy, and El look like he got some good dick. So why the fuck not? That nigga ain't goin' tell 'cause he goin' want to hit it again. Every other nigga 'round here scared of Ablo, that nigga the only nigga 'round here brave enough to try. So do that shit. I would. Shit, Ablo don't care 'bout how the fuck you feel. Am I right or wrong?" She asked.

I nodded in agreement. "So, you really think that nigga wouldn't tell a soul if he fucked me?"

"I know he ain't no lame ass nigga. Only lame ass niggas tell they business. I can tell if a nigga lame just by lookin' at him. That nigga is far from lame."

"Looks can be deceiving sweetie," I said. "Look, I just can't do it cuz. That shit is

wrong."

Princess glanced at El. "That nigga is fine. I ought to fuck him myself. Shit, he look like he can work that dick. Look at his back. It's broad as hell and that mean he can work that mufucka. Look at his lips. Mmm, bet he can eat some pussy too," she observed.

The waitress brought our food. While we ate I kept catching El giving me the eye. He was not trying to conceal his physical attraction to me. I couldn't help but think about how fine that nigga was. I didn't know why he looked so good to me when me and Diablo were having problems. He suddenly got up and walked toward our table. He had a sexy, slow walk. It made him seem confident, but I knew he was cocky as hell. That was why he and Diablo hated each other. They were so much alike. When he made it to our table he flashed me a Colgate smile.

"Yanna right?" He asked.

"Yeah, what's up El?" I asked.

"I heard about what happened to your man. I don't like his punk ass, but I ain't no snitch," he said. "I would've done some shit like...fuck his girl."

"That's good to know El, but I'm eatin' wit' my cousin' right now," I said trying to sound irritated. I didn't sound convincing. "I love my man, and I wouldn't cheat on him." I added for good measure.

"Oh, this shit here ain't got a damn thang to do wit' love. You a sexy mufucka and I wanna fuck you, plain and simple. I know that nigga done cheated on you. I don't see why, but I know he have," he said.

"Okay El," I said dismissing him with a wave of the hand.

He looked at Princess. "Oh, excuse me shawty. Where my manners. I'm El and your name is?" He extended his hand.

"I'm Princess," she said shaking his hand.

"Oh yeah. I knew I seen your fine ass before. Ya'll cousins? Yeah, ya'll some sexy mufuckas. I can see that. I heard about you though shawty. You used to fuck wit' my nigga J. Vegas. He told me how you had him sprung and shit. I want your girl though. I bet good pussy run in the family. I don't give a fuck 'bout her nigga. He don't know what the fuck he got. She don't want me to talk to her, so I'm goin' talk to you. Hopefully she'll listen to what I gotta say. This shit ain't just 'bout gettin' at that nigga. I'm just like any man and any man would be attracted to her. Ablo ain't stoppin' no show. Fuck bein' loyal and shit. That nigga ain't loyal to the bond of their relationship. I ain't her enemy. I hate her man." He looked at me, licked his sexy lips again and walked out of the restaurant.

"That was some shit," Princess said.

"Please. I don't give a fuck what he say. I aint goin' fuck him."

I'd suddenly lost my appetite. Princess watched me play with my food.

"You ready?" She asked.

"Yeah."

When I got home Diablo was in the den watching a movie. Damien was faithfully sitting at his feet.

"What you watchin?" I asked.

"Too Fast Too Furious," he said taking a swig of his Corona.

"So where you been for real? The truth would be appreciated."

"Told you. I was at Ace crib." He kept his eyes on the TV.

I put the keys on the coffee table and sat across from him on the sofa. "You cheatin' on me again ain't you?" I kept my voice calm despite the fact that I wanted to kill his ass.

Ablo looked at me and put his beer down. "I ain't tryin' to argue wit' you Yanna. I'm watchin' a fuckin' movie."

"Fuck you! You ain't goin' keep treatin' me like I'm some bitch on the mufuckin' streets nigga! You goin' respect me Diablo, so tell me right now! Are you fuckin' somebody else? Either confess now or I'm goin catch you later!" I yelled.

He ignored me and sat back in the chair with his beer. I grabbed the keys to the Jaguar off the coffee table.

"Put my keys down," he said still looking at the TV.

I threw them at him and gave him the finger. I went into the kitchen and opened the drawer where he kept his spare car keys. I grabbed the spare to the Jag.

"What you doin'?" He asked from the den.

I kept quiet and returned to the room.

"Where the fuck you think you goin'? You just got here," he said angrily.

"Away from your foul ass!" I yelled and headed to the front door.

He rushed ahead of me and stood in front of the door. "You ain't goin' nowhere 'cause you ain't drivin' my shit."

"Move nigga," I said. He was pissing me the fuck off. "I don't need to drive your shit. My new nigga goin' pick me up from the corner."

He stared at me with venom in his eyes. I waited for the results of my words patiently. Diablo pointed his finger in my face. "You goin' make me kick your ass Yanna! That shit ain't no fuckin' game! Don't play wit' me Yanna!"

"What the fuck make you think I'm playin' wit' you?" I fucked with him.

He grabbed me by my shirt and pulled my body into his. I could feel his breath on my face. "Who the fuck is the nigga? I'm goin' reach out and touch his ass."

"You don't know him. He ain't from here. He ballin' big time and..."

I felt the sting before I realized what happened. Diablo had slapped me. He'd never hit me in seven years and I couldn't believe it. I grabbed my cheek and looked at him with a stunned look on my face.

"You a sorry son of a bitch! I can't believe you put your hands on me!" I yelled with tears in my eyes.

He put his arms around me in an attempt to soothe me. "I'm sorry baby. Don't cry. I didn't mean it. I won't thinkin' straight," he said in a soft voice. I pulled away and he wiped my tears with his thumbs. "Don't cry baby."

I didn't say anything. I wanted to kill him, but I slid the engagement ring off instead. "That hurt worse than the cheatin' Ablo," I said and handed him the ring. "I can't marry no cheater and I damn sho' ain't marryin' no woman beater."

"C'mon Yanna damn. I was mad. You tried to piss me off. You know how I feel about you. You knew that shit would make me go off," he defended himself.

He tried to put the ring back on my finger, but I moved my hand. "I don't want it. I don't even know if I want you. You lied to me again. You promised me that you'd do better by me as my fiancé'. You failed at it, and I have lost my faith in you. I’ve lost my faith in us. Now I need to go clear my head, so don’t stop me.” I walked out of the house and he didn’t attempt to stop me.

I got into the Jag and started it up. It hardly made a sound as I backed out of the driveway with the lights off. He thought he’d hid the spare key from me, but I’d watched him. Stupid ass nigga.

Princess hadn't been home for ten minutes before she heard a loud, impatient knock at the door. She looked through the peep hole and sighed. "Oh God," she said.

"C'mon P. I can see your eyeball. Open the fuckin' door," he said.

She opened the door and stepped aside for him to walk in. Tre was at the race track with his cousin Big C. They made big money betting on the race car drivers.

"What do you want Ace?" Princess asked.

"You. C'mon, why you bein' stingy wit' the pussy now that that nigga home? You know I want you."

"We was just fuckin' Ace. Nothin' more, and I thought you knew that. Ya'll so called hard niggas kill me. You get some good pussy from a dime piece like me and you lose you fuckin' mind. You talked all that shit about how you won’t gonna start catchin' feelings and shit. Look at you at my door beggin' for some pussy. I love to fuck Ace. You won't the only one. That's why I got so much shit Ace. I stroke a nigga's ego, deep throat his dick, then fuck the shit outta him so I can get a nut and some paper. That's all the fuck it was, so deal wit' it."

"Oh, so it's all about that nigga now?" Tre asked. "You can't turn a hoe into a house wife."

"I always have been his. I’m his hoe now, and I ain’t tryin’ to be nobody’s fuckin’ house wife. You knew Tre would get out and claim what's his. This is his pussy. It always has been. It's all his and you can fuck what you heard. He got access to this pussy day and night. Believe that. You was just borrowin’ it nigga."
