Jay sat down on the sand, resting his back against a rock. One leg spread out in front of him and the other brought up under his chin. He was looking out toward the sea.

Taking her phone out Sam snapped his photo. Jay smiled as he looked at her. She sat down beside him and took his hand in hers, caressing his palm with her long slender fingers. She loved him dearly. She looked at his handsome face and said softly:

“Jay, you seem so far away. Are you OK?” He raised her hand to his mouth and kissed the inside of her palm and her wrist.

“Sam, do you remember this place?” She smiled and said yes. He laughed. “I told you I loved you.” She looked at him. Sam remembered he kissed her and said something but she didn’t quite hear. He had told her he loved her long before she had said it to him…

She jumped at him and pulled him down to kiss him. They were frolicking on the sand like kids.

She lay on her back looking up at the sky, she was blissfully happy. With Jay leaning over her brushing away strands of hair, which the gentle breeze insisted on blowing back over her face. Sam laughed. He said:

“I have to take you out to lunch more.” His hand was deliberately brushing against her breast. “You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” He kissed her deeply. She was falling in love with him all over again.

**************

Lisa was swimming in the pool, she felt angry over what had happened earlier. Sure she enjoyed it. It was what she had wanted to happen for months now. Jay was everything she had hoped for in a lover. But that was the whole point, wasn’t it? He wasn’t her lover. They had sex nothing more.

That wasn’t enough for her though. She had sampled him and she liked it. Lisa wanted more and she wasn’t about to give up. Jay had rocked her world this morning and she needed to have him again.

It didn’t matter to Lisa that he was with her best friend. It didn’t matter to her that he had a baby only a few months old. In fact, all that mattered to her was that she wanted Jay as her lover. She knew that Nick would make their relationship more permanent now that he had put a fair size rock on her finger. As in all good Hollywood relationships, she had to have the famous lover to match. Lisa had set her sights on Jay.

They had made plans to have dinner with Jay and Sam in a restaurant in a small town just up the coast from Nick’s place. Lisa knew she would have to work hard on her plan to get Jay to be her lover. She decided that she would drive him wild.

Carefully she chose a very revealing short red shift dress. Her tanned body was looking very sexy. She wore her hair up giving full view of her perfectly tanned back. She decided on a pair of ridiculously high black sandals.

Applying her red lipstick and a dab of perfume, she was ready. As she looked at herself in the mirror, she knew she was on fire.

Nick was sitting down with his feet on the table when she came in. A long whistle filled the air as she threw him his car keys.

“Shit, you must be out to impress me tonight?” He slapped her bottom as she walked in front of him. Nick laughed.

As they drove up Jay’s drive, Lisa began to shiver slightly. She wasn’t sure how he would behave toward her. Funny but she had no remorse for what she had done. Lisa put that down to being in a loveless marriage for too long. That had turned her into the cold uncaring person that she was now.

Sam opened the door; she was dressed in a black dress that clung to her curves. Her ample cleavage, just enough tantalizingly on show. She wore her long red hair loose. Nick kissed her on both cheeks and she did the same to Lisa.

“Jay is dressing.” She laughed as she said it. Looking at her friend; “Li, you look sexy!” Lisa smiled sweetly at her.

“Not long until the grand opening then, is it Sam?” Lisa said, barely hiding the sarcastic tone in her voice.

“Just under two weeks. Oh you are still coming?” She fixed them a drink and handed a vodka martini to Lisa.

“We wouldn’t miss it would we, Nicky.” But it was a statement and not a question. They were laughing as Jay came in. Lisa looked at him, he looked great. He had on a black pants and a black tee shirt. He looked so damn hot. Sam got up and went over to him, said something but Lisa didn’t hear what she said.
She was so damn clingy,
thought Lisa.

In the car, Jay sat in the front with Nick. It pained Lisa to be so near to him but not actually able to touch him. She wondered if he was feeling the same.

“How many are coming to the opening Sam?” Lisa inquired, though she wasn’t really interested.

“Oh, just about fifty but it will run for a while.” Sam touched her arm. “It’s very exciting.”

Smiling at her, Lisa wondered if she and Jay had showered together or if before she changed, had she made love to Jay. She remembered the night in front of the fire when she saw them making love.

“How lovely!” Lisa said and then she said to Nick. “Are you trying out for the Indy five hundred?” He laughed. Jay turned and looked at her coldly. She couldn’t believe how cold the look was, considering it was only a few hours ago he was making love to her.

At the restaurant, Jay opened the door for Sam and took her hand as she got out. They walked in front of them. A pang of jealousy swept over Lisa as she saw his hand brush against Sam’s ass. Sam laughed and moved closer to him.

After they had ordered, they were laughing. Jay was telling them about the early years when they had been a struggling band.

“You wouldn’t believe the things we had to do.” Nick was laughing so hard he nearly fell off the chair. “Like one time we had an old van that was so rusted; as we were driving along the freeway, doing about thirty miles an hour the bottom fell out of it and Nicky was trying to save the guitars and amps from falling out the hole. Pete and Steve had to grab his feet and keep him from falling out”. Sam was laughing so hard, her sides hurt.

“Unlike now we travel in style but back then.” Nick was saying. “We went into a diner and ordered two meals between the four of us.” Jay was drinking a glass of coke. He said;

“We had great determination back then.” He put the glass down. “And we got high every night.” They both said it together. They all laughed. Nick put his arm on the back of Lisa’s chair. He looked at her and said:

“Wanted you guys to be the first to know; show them sweetie.” She smiled and put her hand out in front of her. On her left hand was a massive diamond on a platinum band. Sam gasped when she saw it. Jay looked Lisa flush in the eyes. A wry smile was on his face.

“Congratulations, got the Hollywood dream at last, huh Lisa?” He said and she flashed him a brilliant smile.

Sam got up and hugged her affectionately. She seemed genuinely happy.

“Oh, Li, I am so happy for you.” Turning to Nick she asked. “Mind if I give you a hug?” He put his arms around her and gave her a hug.

Lisa winked at Jay, who smiled back at her. She knew he would be in her bed again. She knew he was as wanton to sample more as she was.

Nick ordered champagne and they were celebrating the happy news of Nick and Lisa’s engagement.

Jay took the keys from Nick as he was a bit too drunk to drive. Sam sat in beside Jay and they sped away. He put his hand on her knee, much to Lisa’s disgust. She thought for a moment. Then she said:

“You want to be dropped off first Sam, Jay you can take the car home then.” Sam nodded and whispered something in his ear.

Twenty minutes later she waved at them and closed the door. Jay sped off to Nick’s house and dropped them off. He asked Nick if he was ok but he just said:

“I am going to make love to my woman.” With his arm around Lisa’s neck and they went inside. Jay shook his head and laughed.

“I left my bag in the car. Be right back.” Lisa doubled back and came out the door just as Jay was getting into the car. She called to him. He looked up as she came close to him.

“Jay, about today.” She unashamedly put her hand over him and began to caress him. He took her hand away. Lisa laughed. “It was good. You will want more.” He laughed.

“Lisa, go in and bang you fiancé.” He got into the car and put on his belt. “I won’t be doing you again.” She leaned into the car and turned his face to hers and kissed him on the mouth.

“You know you will.” She closed the door and went back inside.

Chapter Thirty Three

Sam was hanging the paintings that Damon had sent her on the wall. She was standing back looking intently on the painting in front of her.

She cast her critical eye, closely taking in the exact position on the wall. She nodded and moved on to the next painting. It was looking perfect.

Sam decided that she would use the ‘Canvas of Dawn’, for the window display. As she was assembling the easel she saw Jay walking towards the gallery. She stopped and stood to observe him. He looked so good. Sam loved to watch him, he always wore a smile and his glasses were a permanent fixture on his face. He moved with great ease through the crowded sidewalk.

Seeing her, he waved. His smile broadened as he approached the door of the gallery, she moved to open it for him.

Standing in the doorway she put her arms around him and kissed him lightly on the mouth.

“Will all visitors here receive that welcome?” He asked. She laughed and gently touched his mouth with her index finger.

“I didn’t expect to see you until later.” She moved aside and he came in. He looked around approvingly.

“You’ve done a great job, babe.” He walked over to the painting that was going to be displayed in the window. “You are so talented.” She smiled at him.

“No, that’s Damon; I just have a good eye for spotting talent.” Jay turned to look at her. His smile unmistakable, he was impressed by Sam’s business sense.

“Darlin, if you didn’t have talent yourself, you couldn’t spot it.” He looked around. They were the only ones there. He came over to her and took her in his arms. She closed her eyes as he pressed himself against her. It felt good being in his arms.

“Jay.” She said huskily as he kissed her neck, she was succumbing to his seductive touch. “I want you so much Sam.” He whispered. “Is there anyone here?” She said no. He kissed her mouth and went over to lock the door.  He came behind her and put an arm around her and with his free hand began to caress between her legs, all the time nibbling on her earlobe. He lifted her dress and slipped his hand inside her panties. She gasped as he slipped his finger inside, feeling her all wet and ready to receive him.

“Oh... Babe.” She moaned as he began moving against her. She reached behind and pulled his head down on her neck and moved herself in rhythm with him. Sam wanted him to take her and she knew he would drive her crazy with wanting first.
