He watched as
Kev
signaled Owen.

“What can I get you,
Kev
?”

“A coffee, thanks.”

Nate rolled his eyes. “Get
him a fucking beer. I refuse to sit in a bar with my brother drinking coffee.”
He handed Owen the correct money and waited for his brother to be served a
beer.

“I don’t want any alcohol.”

“Tell you what, for one
night please just
be
my old brother again and drink
with me. What happened to that crazy guy who’d get wasted and get inked?” Nate
asked.

Kev
frowned. He took the beer from Owen before answering.
“He grew up.” Something dark crossed over his face. Nate watched, wondering
what the hell had happened to his brother. One moment
Kev
was the best guy to have around, and then in a blink of an eye, he was serious.

“What were you doing
tonight?” Nate asked, trying to change the subject.

“I told you. I was in a
business meeting.”

Nate hated that answer. Out
of everything
Kev
could say, the fact he was on about
work again frustrated Nate.

He turned his attention back
to the dance floor.

“What do I get out of the
bargain?”
Kev
asked.

“Huh? What?”

“For one night of no business
and having fun, what do I get out of it?”
Kev
took a
sip of his drink.

Nate glanced at the innocent
girl trying to be a sexy fox. She looked awkward in her movements. There was
nothing natural about her sexy fox act. He wanted to show her what sexy, sensual,
and fucking was all about.

His cock tightened for a
taste of her. Would her pussy taste as good as she looked?

“You’ll get the pleasure of
my enthralling company,” Nate said.

“No, not going to happen. I
shared a womb with you. I’ve had all the company I could take.”
Kev
chuckled. There was once a time when his chuckle
sounded natural. The sound that came from his brother sounded more forced than
anything else. Nate didn’t know what happened to his brother to turn him from a
player into a straitlaced business man. Whatever it was, Nate knew it changed
him.

“Okay, how about you relax
for one night and we share one woman for the last time?” Nate posed the
suggestion. He loved sharing women with his brother. Sharing a woman meant he
could watch the pleasure on a woman’s face. Many times he’d sat watching
Kev
fuck a woman. Seeing the absolute rapture drove him to
the edge of release. His cock thickened further at the thought of the raven-haired
beauty on the dance floor between them.
Kev
was the
lighter of the two as Nate had dark brown, messy hair. They were twins and
opposites.

“One last
time?”
Kev
asked.

They’d not shared a woman in
over a year. When Nate fucked a woman there was always something missing. He
brought women to orgasm, but nothing compared to what the two of them could do
together.

“One last
time.
No strings. No attachments.
One
night of fun-loving sex.”

Kev
was thinking it over. While he waited for his brother
to decide Nate returned his attention back to the babe on the dance floor. The
ample curves and innocent aura called to him more strongly than any other woman
he’d been with.

“You’ll not try to ram this
down my throat?”
Kev
asked.

“No. Fuck’s sake,
Kev
. This used to be fun to us. You liked taking a woman
together.”

“Have you ever thought what
happened to the women we double-teamed?”
Kev
asked.
It was the first real emotion Nate had seen in his brother in a long time.

“Actually I do. One of them
works at the mall, and she’s married with a couple of kids. She remembers us
from her reckless days. There’s nothing wrong with sharing a woman. It’s
getting popular in ménage e-books and shit.” Nate thumped his brother in the
arm. “There was a time when we were going to share one woman for the rest of
our lives. Do you remember that little pact you skipped out on?”

When they were younger
they’d come to an agreement that they would have one woman between them. They
were both attracted to the same girl at the same time. Nate had loved the
thought of loving one woman and knowing that no matter what happened to him,
Kev
would be there to look out for her.

“We were kids, Nate. You
can’t hold everything against me. I’ve changed. You’ve changed.”

Nate looked down his body.
Besides the few wrinkles and thicker muscles he was the same guy he’d been back
then.

“Actually, you’re the only one
that changed. I’m the same person,
Kev
. Think about
that.” Nate stood up and grabbed his beer from the bar.

“Where are you going now?”
Kev
asked. His brother sounded exasperated with him.

“You see the pretty raven on
the dance floor? She looks lonely, and I’m horny. I’m going to go and dance
with her and see what happens next.” Nate took one long pull on his beer and
slammed the bottle on the counter. “Let me know your thoughts because I’m
taking her home with me tonight.”

He turned away from his
brother and walked over to the dance floor. Several of her friends gasped when
they looked at him. Most women did gasp at him when he passed. The tats never
failed to gain attention. There was only one woman he wanted tonight, and her
eyes were currently closed.

Chapter Two

The alcohol rushed through
Kate’s veins like a derailed train. When her friends demanded she go out with
them tonight, she had scoffed. Getting sloshed wasn’t her idea of therapy when
it concerned mending her broken heart, but according to her friends that was
the only kind of therapy. She had met them at the bar right after work, the
dress she wore a little too formal for the setting, but she had to admit it got
her attention. The only problem was Kate didn’t know if she wanted any
attention.

As she swayed to the
rhythmic music filtering throughout the bar, Kate let her thoughts wander. Damn
Jeff and his asshole ways. It was that thought that had fueled Kate into
pounding the alcohol down, despite the fact she hadn’t drunk more than a glass
of wine at a time in her entire life before this. Once that first rush of
warmth washed through her, she wanted more, and never wanted it to end. A year
of her life wasted on a jackass who cared more about what his family thought than
about being happy. So what if she wasn’t bred in the same aristocratic society
as he was? She had cared for him, and that should have been enough, but she was
glad she had ended it when she did.

Kate closed her eyes and let
the music wash through her. Lilly and Megan were close by, dancing and showing
her support that no one else in her life had. Without them she wouldn’t have
gotten through a lot of shit in her life. She felt free and relished the
sensations washing through her. The air shifted around her, heating, becoming
thick with something akin to arousal. Kate opened her eyes, saw the wide-eyed
looks of her friends, and turned to see what had snared their attention. The
man who strode forward had her heart momentarily stopping. When it started back
up again it slammed against her chest, threatening to break free. He was big,
heavily muscled, and tattooed. The dark, swirling ink that covered his arms was
intimidating, but the heavy-lidded look that was solely directed at her had
intense warmth crashing into her. This man knew the effect he had on women,
that much was clear by his expression. If Kate had been sober, she might have
scoffed at his cocky arrogance, but as it stood, she felt her arousal for this
potently attractive man grow to the point she couldn’t breathe. Her nipples
tightened, and her panties became uncomfortably wet. When had she ever had this
kind of reaction to a man?

Never, the answer is never, Kate.

He stopped in front of her,
and the slow smile that raised the corner of his mouth was probably one that
made a lot of females’ panties drop. He was large, so very big that she had to
tilt her head back just to look into his face. Muscles upon muscles were
layered under his golden, ink-covered flesh, and his shoulders, so wide and
powerful, blocked out everything behind her. He was all male, and the female
inside of her melted to a pathetic puddle on the ground.

He didn’t say anything, just
wrapped his big hand around her waist and pulled her close to his body. She
should have been offended by his forwardness, but the hazy intoxication
currently rushing through her body left her a stunned mess in front of him. A
look behind her shoulder showed her two friends smiling overly wide. No doubt
this man had the same effect on them as it did on Kate. The stranger started
moving her from side-to-side, his movements sensual and slow. It was clear he
was in no rush. The feel of his erection pressed into her belly had her
gasping, and even though the music was loud and there wasn’t any way he could
have heard, the crooked smile he gave her led her to believe the sound hadn’t
gone unnoticed. He lowered his head, slow enough that he was clearly letting
her get used to the idea, but then she felt his lips brush the shell of her ear
and a shudder went through her.

“Move with me, sweets.” He
tightened his hands on her waist and dug his fingers into her flesh. The
sensation was exhilarating. He guided her body, moving it back and forth until
she started to do it on her own. They swayed together, their movements not
really matching the tempo of the song, but that didn’t seem to matter to him.
His erection was hard and dug into her flesh, and Kate felt heat rise to her
face. She should have pushed him away, slapped him for his overtly sexual
advances, but she couldn’t, not when this stranger made her feel carnal things.

“That’s it.
Nice and slow.”
He slipped his hand lower until it curved
along her ass. He pulled her impossibly closer yet, until she felt her eyes
widen. “Your body is made for fucking, sweets.”

Oh my God.
Was this guy for real? Jeff had been arrogant and cocky, but the aura
around this guy was off the charts melting. “I—”

“Let’s not worry about
anything but right now, yeah?” The scent of his cologne, potent and masculine, sent
a stab of lust through her clit. He continued moving, so explicitly sexual that
she wondered if others were watching their all but dry humping act on the dance
floor. His other hand cupped her cheek and tilted her head back so she was
staring into his dark brown eyes. His stare was fierce and captivating, and the
gentle back and forth motion of his thumb on her cheek further relaxed her.
Kate was drowning, but the sensation of the air getting sucked right out of her
lungs was drugging.

She forced her gaze away
from his, and her eyes landed on a man sitting at a table a few feet away. His
sole focus was on her, and a chill of awareness raced up her spine. His
position was relaxed, what with one arm slung over the back of his chair and
his legs stretched out in front of him and crossed at the ankles. He wore a
business
suit,
completely out of place for the rinky-dink
little bar, but the self-assured attitude that clung to him was a big “fuck
you” to anyone who challenged him. The hot stranger must have noticed her
attention was elsewhere, because his movements stopped, and he looked at where
her sight was currently cemented.

“Sweets, you read my mind.”

Kate looked up at him,
startled. The grin he wore was full of heat and promise. His hand clenched on
her rear, and she knew things were getting out of control far too quickly. She
placed both hands on his incredibly hard chest and pushed. He gave little
resistance as he let her push him away. For several moments all she did was
stare
up at him. God, was she actually walking away from a
man like this? Sexuality poured off of him like some kind of damn pheromone.
Her arousal was ridiculous and misplaced. She was just upset and desperate
because of the shit with Jeff. Going home with a man that was sure to have her
screaming by the end of the night was not something she did, ever, and she
wasn’t about to start. He let her have her little internal debate without so
much as a push in the direction he wanted things to go. Kate didn’t doubt her
friends would want her to let loose and enjoy herself, because what better way
to forget Jeff than to get drunk and sleep with a random man?

“I…” She looked at where her
friends stood several feet away, their mouths open and their eyes wide. Their
illicit thoughts were practically screaming across the dance floor. She turned
her attention back to Mr.
Hottie
. Then, as if an
invisible string pulled her, she looked at the suit. He still watched her,
interest clear on his face. His looks, so similar to Mr.
Hottie’s
,
told her they had to be related.

Oh, hell no.

Realization of what was
going on set in, and her anger rose. It was clear these men were looking for
some fun she wasn’t interested in. Back ramrod straight, Kate schooled her
features. It didn’t matter how aroused she was, Kate McAlister was not going to
be the meat in some kinky threesome these men clearly had planned.
