1. Transferring eBooks to the Kindle Reader for Android Using a PC
2. Transferring eBooks to the Kindle Reader for Android Using a Mac
Using a PC, previously downloaded eBooks can be transferred to the Kindle Reader for Android devices. Make sure the eBook is a MOBI or PRC file. To transfer a book to an Android:
1. Unplug the USB cable from the power adapter that came with your Android device. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the bottom of the device. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer.
2. Touch
Mount
or
Mount as Disk Drive
, depending on the device. The Android device appears as a removable disk drive.
3. Go to
My Computer
. Double-click the removable drive, as shown in
Figure 1
. The Android folders appear, as shown in
Figure 2
.
4. Double-click the
kindle
folder. The 'Kindle' folder opens, as shown in
Figure 3
.
5. Drag and drop the downloaded eBook to the folder. The eBook appears in your library on the Kindle Reader.

Using a Mac, previously downloaded eBooks can be transferred to the Kindle Reader for Android devices. Make sure the eBook is a MOBI or PRC file. To transfer a book to an Android:

Using a PC, previously downloaded eBooks can be transferred to the Nook reader. Make sure the eBook is an ePub file. To transfer a book to the Nook:
1. Unplug the USB cable from the power adapter that came with your Nook. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the bottom of your Nook. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer.
2. Go to

. Double-click the Nook removable drive as shown in
Figure 1
. The Nook folders appear, as shown in

3. Double-click the
my documents
folder. The folder opens, as shown in
Figure 3
.
4. Drag the downloaded ePub file into the 'my documents' folder and drop it. The eBook appears in the library on your Nook.
