Ingredients

4½ ounces vodka

½ packet (one 5-calorie serving) sugar-free powdered cherry drink mix

3 ounces diet cherry lemon-lime soda or diet black cherry soda

8 to 10 ice cubes

Directions

Dissolve the drink mix into 6 ounces of cold water. Stir thoroughly.

Combine mixture with vodka and ice, put it in a shaker (or some other glass with a lid), cover tightly, and shake well.

Strain drink evenly into 3 martini glasses. Top each glass with an ounce of the soda.

Directions

Muddle (aka pulverize) the mint and lime in a glass.

Add the soda and rum, stir well.
