“Do you have any physical preferences?” he asked taking a puff of his cigar.

“Her body must be thin, hair black,” I said.

Kristof threw his head back and laughed.  “You want one like my Alyssa,” he stated.

“I must admit, she’s not bad on the eyes, but I’ll take any as long as they fit the description and are submissive.”

“Oh you see Mr. Saunders, Alyssa is very submissive.  She’ll do whatever I tell her to do.  Hell, she’ll do whatever you tell her to do.  She’s a woman that truly knows her place,” he said snapping his fingers as she quickly came walking over.

“Yes Sir?” she asked.

“Go over and sit on Mr. Saunders lap, let him touch your body.”

There was no hesitation.  She came over and sat on my lap.

“Go ahead Mr. Saunders, feel her body, it’s quite delectable,” he said smiling.

“Yes she is,” I replied trying not to give anything away.  I was torn between rubbing my hands all over her body or reaching across the desk and ripping his fucking head off.
FUCK!
I screamed inside.  I gently placed my hand over her breast and gently squeezed her nipple.  A soft little moan escaped as she bit her lower lip.
Yep, still got it, she may not have a clue as to who the fuck I am but her body remembers.

“I hate to be rude but I must take care of my next appointment.  Would you two like to spend some alone time with sweet Alyssa?” he asked.

“It would be our pleasure,” I said answering for both Tristan and I.  Tristan gave me an awkward look.

Stick to the plan asshole,” he said through gritted teeth.

I stood taking Brooke’s (Alyssa’s) hand
in mine as she led Tristan and me up the stairs to her room.

It was a familiar scene all over again, except I wouldn’t be sharing my wife with my best friend.  I didn’t even have to say a word, Tristan knew and he respected that.  That one time was a mistake, it cost my girlfriend at the time her life and now, since I hadn’t been honest with Brooke, it was costing hers as well.

“Alyssa,” I whispered as she sat on my lap.  “Do you remember me?”

“No, should I?
” she asked.

“Probably not, you just remind me of someone I use to know.”

“Oh, an ex-lover perhaps?” she said with a slight accent.

“Yes.  You remind me of her very much.  She was very beautiful.”

“What happened to her?  I hope you don’t mind me asking.”

“She was kidnapped and murdered.”

“What!” she exclaimed.  “That’s awful.”

“Yes it is, very tragic.  The worst part is that they didn’t actually physically murder her.  They just made sure that whatever memories she had
of her previous life were gone.  So you see, murdered?”

“Yes, I do see.  That is horrible.  Who would do such a thing?”
she asked walking toward the door.  “Will you two please excuse me while I run to the ladies room?” she asked.

I nodded, smiling at her.  “We’ll be right here waiting.”

Tristan looked at me shaking his head, rolling his eyes.  “Dude, you’re really fucked in the head.”

“Tell me I’m wrong.  You remember how she was.”

“I do, but we need to keep this shit under wraps or they’ll kill us all.”

“Actually T, I have a plan of my own that I’d like to try.”

“Fuck Dylan!  You’re going to get us killed!  We’re not in the States.”

“What I need fo
r you to do is keep her occupied.  Is there any way that you can get Alexi to give her something while we get her out of here?”

“Are you kidding me?  Kristof has men everywhere in this place, Dylan.  We’ll never make it out alive.”

“Not unless you get Alexi to help.  We have to do it Tristan.  She doesn’t know who the fuck she is anyway.  I would rather die than see her like this.”

“Dylan, you’re thinking with your emotions right now man.  You need to get your shit in check, now!”

“If we don’t do this today Tristan, they will kill her.  Kristof is an asshole. I already know he’s planning on discarding her.  We already know who was behind the attacks, now we just need to tie up loose ends.  We either move now, or we might as well kiss all of our asses good-bye.  I have a plane waiting at the airport about ten minutes from here.”

“I don’t like it but you’re right.  Let me send Alexi a text.”

Alexi,

We’ll be leaving in fifteen minutes.  Meet me in the back with the car.

T

Tristan’s phone vibrated.

Tristan,

On my way, I’ll meet you at the same spot I dropped you off at.

Alexi

“We’re all set, he’s on his way.”

“I’m going to go down and distract Captain Fuckoff with my questions, if I don’t make it out in time, promise me you’ll take care of her.”

“Dude, shut up, you’re going home with us.”

“I may not be once he realizes that she’s gone.  Promise me Tristan.”

“You know I will, but she’s your woman, you need to take care of her.”

“I’m back,” she announced walking over to me.  “Did you miss me?” she asked leaning in placing a kiss on my cheek.

“More than you will ever know princess,” I said.  “But I think it’s my turn to use the restroom now, can you point me in the right direction?” I asked.

“It’s down the hall and on the right,” she said pointing.
I leaned down and gave her one last kiss before I took all of our lives into my own hands.

C
HAPTER 20

I crept around the corner like something straight out of a Rambo movie.  I took deep breaths trying to tame the rage that continued building in me.  All I needed was the perfect opportunity to get at that fucker.  Soon his guest would be leaving and I would have his head.  For someone that was so powerful, he was a trusting soul, almost too trusting.  I was counting on Alexi to take care of the details once Tristan and Brooke were safe in the car with him.

I knew Tristan well enough to know that he would take care of her if that’s what needed to be done.  I hoped it wouldn’t come to that but you never knew when you were dealing with assholes like Kristof Constantine.  I only wished I’d had the pleasure of taking governor shit head out too.  When I returned home, I would definitely see to it that Thomas Stone had a nasty accident.  Murder was no longer beneath me especially when it came to my beloved Brooke.  I would do anything for her, including killing the person that brought harm to her.

She was already dead in many ways, not remembering who she was; who I was.  How in the hell did that happen?  One minute I was with her and the next she was gone.  I was her protector and I h
ad let her down, just like so many times before.  I swore to Christ that if she got her memory back, I would tell her everything, give her anything she wanted, just as long as we were together.

Now was not the time for the pity party.  I had to bury my guilt and deal with it another day.  I had a job to do and I was going to make sure these assholes were done once and for all.  I crept closer to the stairs trying to hone in on Kristof’s conversation with his mystery guest.
From what I could make out, the man wanted five women, all to be shipped to the Middle East for some big party that would be taking place in the next couple of months.  He requested all blondes and that they all be trained in the ways of a submissive, prepared to take any kind of punishment that was seen fit to be given.

Sick mother fuckers,
I thought.  It was one thing to tie someone up and have a little fun as long as they were willing but to force the evil shit that these two were talking about made me sick as fuck.
I swear if I have to listen to these two any longer I’m going to run down there and end them both.  There are some seriously sick people in this world.

The man stood but I could only see the back of his head.

It’s showtime!
I told myself.  I crept closer.

“Kristof, it’s always a pleasure doing business with you.  I’ll be expecting those girls within the next couple of weeks.  I have some plans of my own for them,” he said.

Kristof laughed.  “Ah yes, going to have a little fun with them yourself prior to sharing them with the rest of the world I see?”

“If you pay for the merchandise you might as well try it, right?” he said laughing.

“Absolutely, and I can promise you, my girls are the best,” he replied in his thick accent taking a puff of his cigar.

“Very well, I’ll see you in a couple of weeks.”

“Good-bye my friend.”

Take care, Constantine.”

Kristof got up walking away from his desk as I stood at the top of the stairs awaiting his return.  I wasn’t nervous or scared as anger surged through me.  I waited for him to return and when he sat looking out the window, it was the perfect opportunity for me to do what I had to do.  I
slowly crept up behind him, pulling the blade from behind my back as I held his the knife to his throat.

“Slitting your throat is going to give me the greatest pleasure I’ve ever felt you piece of shit.”

“Well then…you should…”

I didn’t wait for him to respond, I took the knife and
in one swift move I cut his throat.  Anger ensured that I cut deep and accomplished what I’d intended to do, kill.  I had now become something I never wanted to become, but for all that had been done to Brooke, it was justified.  I watched as Kristof fell to the floor holding his neck, gurgling blood and reaching his other hand up to me.

“Enjoy hell asshole,” I said as he breathed in his last breath.

In that moment, I knew everything was going to be alright.  I started walking toward the back door when Kristof’s mystery guest entered the room.

“Kristof?” he called.

I turned, finally recognizing the voice that had sounded familiar to me all along.

“Dad,” I said.

“Dylan?” he questioned walking toward me.

“What the hell are you doing here dad?”

“I needed to tell Kristof something, you know; add to the order.  Where is he?”

“Dead,” I said.  “And hopefully rotting in hell where he belongs.”

“You killed him?”

“Yes.”

“Why would you kill him Dylan?”

“Because he took my wife from me and turned her into a whore for his clients!  For assholes like you to fondle!”

He laughed.  “So you finally figured it out?”

“You knew where she was all along, didn’t you?”

“Of course I did.  How do you think they knew where to find her?  The castle isn’t in the public eye.”

“Tell me why, at least give me that before I kill you.”

Again he laughed.  “For the money of course.  You didn’t really believe all that shit about your grandparents owning the family business did you Dylan?”

“Well actually I did,” I said rubbing my back pocket.

“Let me tell you something son.  The Arabs like to be entertained, and when you’re in the oil business, you’re expected to provide said entertainment for your guests.”

“That’s bullshit!  You took her from me!  Why did you do that?”

“Brooke was just a little added bonus.  You see, once upon a time three guys met in high school while playing on the football team.  They wanted to be rich so they concocted a plan that would work.  The governor and I went to college together, while Brooke’s father stayed back and ran his family’s business.  Thomas was in charge of luring the girls in since he had charm and the ladies couldn’t say no.  The governor had the means and the power to sneak them out of the country and since I had ties in the oil industry; I was able to run the operation under different subsidiaries through Prescott Oil and Gas.  So you see Dylan, it was a win, win situation for the three of us, until you and Brooke met.”

“Why did you take her from me, you sick bastard?” I said pulling the knife from my back pocket.

“She was becoming a huge problem for all of us involved.  Thomas hated the girl from day one.  Then
you
went and fell in love with her, rushing to her aid like some love sick puppy when all that shit with Stefan went down.  It was pathetic to watch.  The governor didn’t like her because she was taking too much time away from the jobs that he was having you do.  That’s right Dylan, I knew about that.  And me, well… I didn’t care for the little bitch because you went and made her an equal partner in my fucking company!”

“Why didn’t you just kill me then?” I asked.

“Oh no, Dylan.  You were far too valuable. Besides, your mother would have been pissed if I’d killed you too.”

“Killed me too?  Who else have you killed, dad?”

“Funny you should ask, your sister Danielle.  I know you covered her suicide to make it look like an accident, but the crime had already been staged as a suicide.  She should have just kept her legs closed,” he said smugly.
