“You want to keep her, don’t you?”

Dell dropped his gaze to the tile floor, unsure how to answer. He wanted to keep Beth for as long as she’d take them. But he didn’t want Marcos to feel replaced or unloved. He loved him just as much has he had yesterday. But he loved Beth, too. He had since their first days of high school. Even when they were apart.

“It’s all right,
mio sole
. You can tell me the truth.”

Dell threaded his fingers through Marcos dark curls, massaging his neck. Marcos leaned back into his touch. “I do want to keep her, but I still want you. Just as much as I always have.”

“I know,
mio amore
.” Marcos cocked his right eyebrow, a smile covered his lips. “I can feel it.”

Dell smiled, pressing his hips and hard cock against Marcos, moaning at the sensation of skin against skin.

“I love you, too.” He kissed him quick on the lips. “And I understand,
mio sole
. I love having her between us. I’m not ready to give it up, either.

“I don’t feel as much for her as you do. I haven’t known our girl as long, but I can see myself coming to love her over time. Especially after a few more nights like this.”

Dell held a tentative breath. Could this really be true? Could he be getting all he wanted? The girl he’d loved since high school and the man that offered him everything else he craved, including the love and support to partake in such an unusual situation. “So you’d be willing to make this permanent? If she’s interested?”

Marcos nodded, and Dell wanted to scream to the skies in pleasure. His heart was full to bursting. He’d have both of them, Beth and Marcos, as long as they all wanted to be together. Instead, he grabbed Marcos and kissed him, twirling his tongue with his. He clutched his hard ass, pulling him close. Marcos’s hard cock rubbed against his stomach, creating a fiery heat to go along with the tingles his kiss created.

Marcos pulled back, his breathing rough. “But first I need to know. Who sucks a better cock, me or her?”

Marcos kissed down Dell’s breastbone, sucking in his right nipple. Dell moaned, tangling his fingers into curly dark hair. He massaged his scalp while pushing him further toward the floor. Marcos fell to his knees, the water pelting down his back and plastering his hair to his neck.

“No one gives as good a blow job as you, babe.”

“I better make sure you don’t forget it.” Marcos smiled before taking Dell’s dick into his mouth, sucking him down to the back of his throat. Dell moaned, grabbing hold of the side of the shower to stay upright.

At this rate, he’d never be able to walk again. Amazingly, Dell couldn’t find the will to be upset.

* * * *

Beth woke to the sound of the shower running. The bed lay empty, and she assumed the two men who’d occupied the warm, soft sheets were now in the shower, together. Her chest tightened at the thought. She’d known they’d eventually be together again without her, but she’d thought they’d at least include her for tonight.

Damn her stupid heart! She knew this was coming. She’d known the whole damn time when the night ended she’d be alone again. And Marcos and Dell would go back to their normal life—together. She’d never been able to give him everything he needed. So why did it still hurt so much to think of them playing in the shower without her?

She should leave now, before they came back and she had to say good-bye. Slipping from the sheets, she placed her feet on the plush carpet and eased her weight from the bed so the springs wouldn’t announce her retreat. It was better for everyone if she left. That way she wouldn’t risk endangering Dell and Marcos’s relationship. She wanted Dell to be happy, and though she’d only met Marcos today, she wanted the same for him. If they could find it together, she didn’t want to stand in their way.

Beth stooped down, pulling her disheveled emerald dress off the floor. She slipped it over her head. The fabric wrinkled and bunched around her body like a giant billboard sign that she was slinking out of the hotel in last night’s clothes. As she shimmied the tight dress up her thighs, she wished she’d had the forethought to bring a change of clothes, but she’d only wear it for a short while. Once she returned home, she could change into old sweats. Because that was what one wore when she had a broken heart and didn’t care how badly she looked anymore.

Each click of the teeth knitting together heightened her nerves as she pulled the zipper up. She didn’t know what she’d do if Marcos or Dell caught her walking out, especially after she’d been so hard on Dell for doing the same in high school.

But she couldn’t stay. She couldn’t be the reason Dell and Marco’s relationship fell apart. She couldn’t say good-bye to Dell again.

From the corner of her eye, she noticed her reflection in the wall mirror. Her hair a mop of tangles around her pink stubble-burned face. “Stupid curls,” she admonished, running her fingers through the mess. “Why do you always have to get so tangled?”

She took a step towards the mirror, not paying attention to where she placed her feet. She slammed her big toe against the square base of the footboard. Pain radiated across her foot and up her leg, sharp and fast. “
Fuck
.” Beth screamed out in surprise, jumping up and down on her uninjured limb.

She leaned against the mattress, holding her foot in her hand as if that might stem the pain but failed. “Damn it! Nothing hurts worse than a stubbed toe.”

She heard the sound of the shower shutting off, and her panic rebounded, almost blocking out the pain. This was her moment. If she didn’t go now, she wouldn’t get the opportunity for a clean break again. It was bad enough to be nursing a broken heart for Dell, again, but it would only be worse to show him how much it hurt her to leave them both. It was better for everyone if she just left now.

She hobbled toward the door, the best she could on her injured limb, but they were faster than her. A streak of white terry cloth, tan chest, and sandy-blond hair raced in front of her, blocking the doorway. She cast a glance over her shoulder to find Marcos closing in from behind, another towel wrapped low around his hips, displaying the rippled chest that even now had her mouth watering.

“Where do you think you’re going, sweetheart?” Dell’s eyes pierced through her, seeing deep inside her where she wanted to hide.

“You don’t think we’d just let you leave,
bella.

Beth swallowed at the power in Marcos’s words. If only she could be sure their relationship would not be damaged, she’d gladly stay. But that wasn’t possible, was it? “The agreement was for one night. Night’s almost over. It’s time for me to go.” Beth dropped her head. Heat flooded her face as she spied the enormous erection tenting the front of Dell’s towel.

“The rules aren’t set in stone,
bella.
” Marcos’s hand smoothed down her arm, and his warm breath gusted against her throat, alerting her to his close proximity. If she turned around, she didn’t doubt he’d be right behind her, and heartbeat picked up in speed. “That’s the beauty of Fantasies Fulfilled.” Marcos leaned into Beth. His hot body heat curled around her, making her shiver, “We can do whatever we want.”

“Marcos is right.” Dell wrapped his hand around her face, smoothing his thumb across her cheekbone, almost distracting her from the reason she needed to leave. “Nothing says we can’t take more time if we want it.”

“I don’t want to come between you two.” They were a happy couple, or had been before last night. The last thing she wanted to do was to wreck that.

“We like having you between us,
bella
,” Marcos stepped closer, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her against him. His hard cock pressed into her lower back through the terry cloth towel.

Her body slackened, his nose nuzzled into her hair, and she melted into his hard muscles. His warmth sizzled along every nerve in her body, his chest bracing her back. His mere nearness tightened her nipples, and a new surge of wetness dripped between her thighs.

She looked up to see Dell watching them, a small, satisfied smile on his lips. He stepped forward, tipping his head toward Marcos over her shoulder. “We want you to stay. For good.”

Her knees felt weak at his words. She wanted nothing more than to join them, to stay with them forever. This night had been the best of her life, and the idea of continuing it sounded like magic. But something held her back, a nagging, gnawing fear she hadn’t been able to shake no matter how hard she tried.

As if sensing the reason for hesitancy, Dell reached out, stroking her arm and twining his fingers with hers. “I know you didn’t want to talk about the past tonight, but I have to. I promised not to say anything back when we were planning on this arrangement only being for one night. Now that we want more, I need to tell you the truth. To get this all out in the open.”

He took a deep breath, and she could see this really troubled him, though she couldn’t tell if it was the confession or the truth of what happened that bothered him most.

He looked up at her, his bright blue eyes filled with regret. “I’m sorry that I hurt you back then. When we were in college, I didn’t know what to do. I loved you, but I also had feelings for my roommate, and the quarterback of the football team, and one of my TAs. I didn’t know how to handle it. I didn’t understand that I could love a man and you at the same time. I thought it was best I just leave you alone. I thought it best if you moved on with your life without me and found someone who wasn’t confused, like I was.

“I had no idea we could have this. I had no idea that such a relationship existed. But now that I’ve found it, you can bet I’ll do everything I can to protect it.” The stern tone of his words and the determined gleam in his eyes shot straight through her. And though she knew it was a bit crazy, she did believe him. “I won’t let history repeat itself. I want you to know you can depend on me. I’m not going anywhere.”

Dell dropped his mouth to hers, sealing his words with a quick kiss that set her nerves sizzling. Marcos’s hands slid around her body, paying special attention to all her more sensitive curves. “What do you say,
bella
, will you stay with us?” She almost laughed at the urgency and plea in his tone.

Beth took a deep breath, trying to think, which was almost impossible with these two gorgeous men touching her. “How would this work? The three of us?” She could hear the breathless quality to her voice. It must not have been lost on Dell as his grin extended to cover his whole face.

“Come back to Boston with us. You can open that art gallery you always wanted to back in school. Marcos could supply you with wine for events, and I’ve got plenty of clients that would love to expand their portfolio into the art scene.”

How could this be? Two days ago her future had looked dull and gray, completely unsure. Now Dell offered her everything she’d ever wanted. The men she wanted, the gallery she’d dreamed about. She could even throw parties and events there like she’d come to enjoy through her reunion chair position.

Was it really possible to get everything she wanted? It couldn’t all be true. There had to be a catch.

She bit her lip nervously, and Dell took it as a sign of her concern, quickly amending his statement. “But we’ll understand if you don’t want to work with us after what happened with Paul.”

“As long as you can promise you’ll be in our bed at night,” Marcos whispered in her ear, “you’ll get no complaints from us.”

Dell smiled, nodding his head. His hand ran down the curve of her cheek, sliding down her neck. Her heart pounded out, her breath ragged. Beth looked behind her and met Marcos’s dark hungry eyes. Could they be serious? Was it possible they could make this work, the three of them?

“You won’t get jealous?”

“We all bring something different to the table,
bella
. We have no reason to be jealous of each other. You need something different from each of us, just as we need each other in a different way than we need you.”

Dell’s lips descended on her neck, sucking on her sensitive skin. Beth moaned at the touch. Dell slid closer to her, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her closer into him. “We need you, sweetheart. Not just for one night, for good. Will you stay?”

Her heart beat a happy rhythm in her chest. That was what she’d always wanted. She’d never stopped loving Dell, not even when she’d been with Paul. She wanted to be with him. But she was quickly coming to care for Marcos, too. With his easygoing nature and ability to make anyone feel at ease, she understood why Dell had snapped him up. To be with the two of them, long term, sounded like a dream come true.

“I would have a few ground rules for this situation.” She tried to sound stern, but given the smiles on her men’s faces, they saw right through her attempt.

“I need open communication. Tell me everything, even if you think it will hurt me. I’d rather know what’s going on than be in the dark and blindsided.” Dell looked down at the floor, but nodded in agreement.

“As I’m sure you know, I’m in charge of organizing our high school reunion, and I can’t leave Lanie in the lurch to do everything herself. I’ll need to be able to come back here often to help her prepare for the event.”

“I’m sure we can handle that,” Dell responded, pushing the hair back from her neck and placing a long kiss there. She shivered beneath his touch.
