Wow, this has to be my lucky
day.

Ryan, this is my brother...,

Ryan,

she says.

My
brothers

eyebrow arches in question. I shake my head and
mouth later to him, and nod him over to the conference room door;
then I turn back around to face Ryan. She was sitting down at her
desk and she was staring up at me with wide eyes; wide amazing
green eyes. Her hair wasn

t in the braid that
it was in earlier. It was in a tight bun now at the back of her
head. I wonder how she looks with it out. I bet
she

d have any man weak at the knees.

So
we meet again,

I say with a grin on my face.

She is still gazing up at me not
saying a word, until the phone at her desk rings. Her eyes never
leave me as she answers the phone.

Callahan & Callahan, how may I help
you.

Oh
Mr. Callahan is in a meeting right now may I take a
message.

Ok
Mr. Ray, I will be sure to let him know. Have a wonderful
day.

When she hung up, she acted like she
was too occupied with jotting the message down for my father, to
look at me.

I
just wanted to say that you smell like the sweetest wildflowers,
Ryan,

I
say.

Her head snaps up to meet my heavy
gaze. I can see her blush as she searched my face for
truth.

Mr.
Callahan, your family is going to miss seeing
you,

she says trying to get me to go to the conference room to
join them, and out of her area. I know she isn

t trying to
get rid of me because she doesn

t desire me; because
I can see it in her eyes when she looks at me. They get all big and
heavy. Her breathing picks up, and she bites on her bottom lip like
she

s trying to hold back from saying something. So there
must be another reason she wants me gone.

I test
an idea I have out. I reach down and brush my thumb across her
bottom lip and say,

Those lips are too sexy for you to be biting on.
They need to be kissed.

I see a shiver run down her body and
her eyes close slightly before, she shakes herself out of her
thoughts.

I
can

t.. I just can

t. I work for
you,

she says, running her hand over the top of her hair sending
another whiff of her wildflower scent straight to my
nose.

Damn, do I want this woman; and
bad.

No
you don

t. You work for my father.

She
looked at me, down at her hands, then glances up at the conference
door, then back at me. So many emotions played across her face. A
lot more than I would every admit to dealing with. But there is
something special about this girl that won

t let me just
walk away from her.

She
opened her mouth to say something when the door to the conference
room opened up and Killian peeked his hand out. He gave me a

Hurry the
hell up look

, then quickly closes the door back.

I
have to go, but don

t think that this is
over,

I say then lean in and kiss her right cheek, then I turn
and walk into the conference room.

Smiling the whole way there, cause I saw how she closed her
eyes and sighed. It won

t be long before I
get to kiss her the right way.

I took a deep breath and opened the
door to the conference room.

So
you guys decided to start without me,

I say into the
room.

There
were a bunch of ooh

s and
aah

s, as well as me being enveloped with by arms upon
arms.

Ryan, why didn

t you tell me you
were coming home,

my mom said as she hugged and kissed
me.

I
wanted to surprise you,

I said under her fierce
gaze.

As
quickly as she fixated it on me, it quickly dissolved and she
pulled me into her more and kissed me all on my face. As she pulled
me into the room and was shutting the door, I caught a quick
glimpse of Ryan and I swore that I could see tears streaming down
her face. I wanted to go to her, but I was occupied by
everyone

s questions.

You

re not going back are you,

my father
asked?

No,

I
said.

Why,

he asked?

I
really didn

t want to talk about
that right now. I just want to relax.

Can
we talk about that later,

I say then am turned to my brother
Patrick.

Dude, why didn

t you tell
me,

he asked after smacking me on my back.

You
can

t keep a secret, and you know it,

I say shrugging my
shoulders.

He
looks at me grinning because he knows I

m
right.

So
when is the pool party,

Patrick says out of no
where
.

Oh
no,

I
groan.

Mom
shoots me a look, then says,

Why not Honey. We all
want to enjoy you finally being home.

I wanted to argue that I was so
tired, but I know my mom; and when she wants something from us
boys, she has a way of getting it from us.

Nothings set up. How can we do this on such short
notice,

I say hoping Killian didn

t plan
anything.

Oh course I was wrong
again.

Well
brother, thats not entirely true. You see I have some people over
at the house now setting a few things up,

he said with a sneaky
grin on his face.

But
we were just there,

I say.

He shrugs and acts like its no big
deal. Today is going to be a trying day.

Ryan, we

re all
ready,

my father says. Everyone is looking at me like he has said
it more than once.

I accept defeat and follow everyone
out of the conference room.

Chapter 2 (Miss Ryan)

Whoa,
how is it that a man could have me so darn weak after barely
meeting him. I

d never admit it but
when he touches me I can

t help but feel a
thumping starting up between my thighs. He had me so wet and
excited I almost told him how good he had me feeling. I have to
stay away from him, because he might end up having me throw away my
vow to wait until I

m married to have
sex. I know that

s a foreign concept
now a days, but its important to me.

Ryan
sweetheart, would you like to come to our house for a pool
party,

Mrs.
Callahan asks me.

I was
completely taken by surprise. Not because she asked me to her
house, because she has always been nice to me. I

ve always
been made to feel loved and cared for by her. She has been there
for me when I had no one else. Even when I found out my older
brother was going back overseas, she was there to hold me and let
me cry on her shoulder. We have been out together for lunch, as
well as her cooking me a nice birthday dinner last year. She was
the mother I never had and always wanted. I am more surprised at
how sexy Ryan looked as he peered at me while his mom asked me to
come over to the house. His shoulders were wide and his stance is
strong, and his lips felt like silk on my cheek. His eyes were this
breathtaking hazel blue color, and his hair was like a messy but
sexy as ever quiff, that I wanted to run my fingers through. There
is no way that I will be able to stay away from him if he tired to
come on to me.

As
fine as he is, there

s no way that he
doesn

t have a boat load of woman running after him either.
I know that I

d get my heart
broken. I can

t go.

I
don

t know Mrs. Callahan, I have a lot of work to
do,

I
say breaking eye contact with Ryan and shuffling the papers around
on my desk.

I
think that I can get your boss to let you come,

she said with a twinkle
in her eye as she quickly gazed over at Mr.
Callahan.

He shifted his feet around and I
could see a slight tint to his cheeks.

I flush up myself and my head goes
into my hands, as I try and keep anyone from seeing how I was
feeling.

So
what do you think,

she says softly.

I
think that it will be okay,

I say before I could stop
myself.

Its
settled them. You can meet us over at the house in 45 minutes to an
hour, alright,

she says turning and leaving out the office before I
could think of an answer.

When I
look up Ryan was standing there and he was gazing at me with a look
of pure passion in his eyes. If I didn

t know any better I
would have thought that he was going to crawl over my desk and
ravish me right there in the office.

Ryan, are you coming,

his brother Killian says peeking
around the corner.

Ryan

s gaze breaks away from me and he walks over to
meet his brother, to leave.

Just
before he rounds the corner he looks back at me and says,

I hope to
see you later,

then he walks off with his brother and out of the
office.

Oh no.
How in the hell am I going to face him knowing he feels how he
feels; knowing I feel how I feel. Anytime I

m around him I
want to feel his warm touch. If he ever tried to touch me I would
so give in to him. I would let him do whatever it is he wanted to
me. I know that I have to stay away from him when I go to the
house.

I finish up the last of my left over
work, then I locked up and left out of the office and to my beater.
As I walked to the garage I prayed that my car would start this
time. The last couple of days my car has been acting funny. It has
been sputtering everyday when I drove to work; and yesterday when I
was leaving it took me like 10 minutes to get her started
up.

Luckily she started right up. I just
hope that she will the next time.

My
drive home took me a few minutes. I was lucky to find this small
apartment in Back Bay that was pretty cheap. I had enough to pay my
rent and bills, plus save for the place I wanted to buy. I should
have enough saved up in about two more years. I know that it might
seem like a long time, but I need my own place.
I

ve never owned anything. Well anything besides this
beater, but I don

t count
that.

I pull
up in front of my building and left my baby running. It will only
take me 10 minutes or so to jump in the shower and get ready. Plus
I don

t think anyone will want to take her, no matter how
much I love my baby. She is pretty beat up. The paint is peeling
off all the doors, as well as the the hood. When I pull off the
muffler makes a loud noise. The right side mirror is barely hanging
on by a thread. I duct taped it on but it keeps falling off. The
bumper is hooked on with a few cords. So I think I will be safe
leaving her running while I get in the shower. I just
don

t want to chance turning her off, then her not
starting back up when I come back out to leave.
