“I haven’t thought about it.”

“How about spending two weeks with
me?”

“Hmm…” She was getting distracted
with the kisses on her neck and his hand
running slowly up her thigh. “Andreus I can’t
concentrate when you do that.”

“You don’t need to concentrate, just say
yes.”

“Won’t you be working?”

“I can get time off, Nik owes me a few
favours.”

“Hmm…” She sighed as she closed her

eyes. “Ok, I’ll come here.”

“Good.” He ran his hand up to her
waist and higher until his hand skimmed
across her breast. “You drive me crazy Katie.”
He groaned. “I want you so badly.” He sat
back and closed his eyes.

“Well, what’s stopping you?” She
moved so she was straddling him and ran her
hands up his chest.

“Are you sure? Darling I don’t want
you to think this is all about sex. I want us to
work.”

“It won’t be just sex Andreus, I want
you too.” That was all the encouragement he
needed, he knotted his fingers in her hair and
pulled her head towards him, touching his lips
to hers gently at first then more passionately,
he ran his hand down her spine making her
shiver. Katie started unbuttoning his shirt and
ran her hands over his olive skinned chest.
Katie pulled away and stood up pulling him to
his feet before leading him to his bedroom.
They undressed each other quickly and laid
on his bed touching each other. Andreus
pulled away slightly and looked down at her.

“You’re so beautiful.” He ran his hand
down her belly then bent his head and licked
the stiffened peak of her breast, Katie writhed
beneath him as his hand travelled down to the

apex between her thighs running his finger
against her sensitive clitoris. He moved to the
other breast, licking and nipping her nipple as
he slipped his finger inside her, Katie cried
out with pleasure, raking her hands through
his black hair. Andreus shifted himself so he
was laying between her thighs and entered her
slowly, groaning at her sweet tightness then
thrust slowly. Katie met his every move until
they reached their peak together.

Andreus rolled on to his side pulling
Katie with him so she was snuggled close, he
kissed her tenderly. “I’m not letting you go
tonight.” He mumbled.

“I’m not going anywhere.” She kissed
him and they fell asleep in each others arms.

Andreus woke the next morning in an
empty bed. “No way! Not again!” He said to
himself as he got out of bed and threw on his
towelling dressing gown. He walked out of
the bedroom and into the lounge there was
still no sound of them, making his way to the
kitchen he heard Rhiannon’s voice and sighed
with relief. He smiled as he walked in. “Good
morning.” He said.

“Hi.” Katie smiled as he bent to kiss
her.

“What are you two up to?”

“Mummy is making breakfast. Eggy

bread my favourite.”

“You don’t mind do you?” Katie asked.

“Mind what?” He looked confused.

“Me going through your cupboards.”

“Why would I mind? So long as I get
some too.”

“You’d better get dressed quickly,
because this greedy monkey will demolish
them very quickly.”

“I’m not greedy!” Rhiannon laughed.

“I’m not taking any chances.” Andreus
smiled, quickly stealing another kiss before
going to shower and get dressed.

Chapter 13

Their time together went far too
quickly and before they knew it Andreus was
driving them to the airport, Tessa and Claire
had left the previous week. They waited with
Andreus until their flight was ready to board.
“Goodbye Andreus.” Rhiannon smiled as she
hugged him.

“Goodbye sweetheart, look after
mummy for me.”

“I will.”

Andreus stood up and pulled Katie
close. “I’m going to miss you.” She smiled

sadly.

“Me too, but I will be over Friday
night. I love you.”

“I love you too.” He kissed her then
waited until they’d gone through passport
control before leaving.

Rhiannon and Katie collected their
baggage when they landed in Heathrow then
they walked through to arrivals where
Gregory and Heather were waiting, Rhiannon
ran over to them. “Hey princess!” Gregory
grinned as he picked her up. “Did you have a
nice holiday?”

“Yeah, I’m going to Disneyland in two
weeks.” She said excitedly. Gregory looked at
Katie questioningly.

“Claudia’s mum got a great deal and
invited Rhiannon to go with them.”

“Wow! You lucky girl!” Heather
smiled. They drove back to the house. Katie
sent Rhiannon upstairs to unpack as soon as
they got home.

“I’ve met someone.” Katie told her
parents. “He’s Nik’s older brother.”

“This sounds like quite a holiday!”
Heather smiled.

“It was.” Katie laughed.

“Where does he live? London?”

“No Athens.” She watched uncertainty

cross their faces. “I know what you are
thinking, that long distance relationships don’t
work but he’s going to come over at the
weekends and fly us over there for school
holidays. We both want this to work.”

“Good. I’m happy for you.” Heather
smiled.

“Thank you.” Her mobile rang. “Hi.”
She smiled.

“Hi darling, did you get home ok?” His
deep sexy voice made her belly do
somersaults.

“We did, we’ve been home for about
thirty minutes.”

“Good. Did you tell your parents about
us?”

“Yes.”

“How did they take it?”

“Fine. I think they’re hoping to get us
out of their hair.” She laughed.

“I’d be very happy to grant them that
wish. I miss you already.”

“I miss you too. Do you know what
time you’ll get her Friday?”

“I’m hoping to get into London for
about seven o’clock, but I have got to see how
much work I’ve got on my desk waiting for
me. I’m just about to leave for the office
now.”

“Ok, so you might not be able to come
over this weekend?” She tried not to let the
disappointment show in her voice.

“Sweetheart trust me, wild horses
couldn’t stop me from coming this weekend, I
might just have to get a later flight.”

“Ok.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.” Katie smiled as she
hung up.

“Is he coming over?” Gregory asked.

“Yes.”

“Why don’t we have Rhiannon for the
weekend?” Heather said. “I’m sure the two of
you will want some time alone. Besides we’ve
missed her.”

“Thank you. That would be great.”

Chapter 14

Katie was sitting in the living room
with Heather, Gregory, Ellie and Rhiannon
when the doorbell rang at seven thirty, Katie
jumped up and walked out to the door quickly
opening it smiling. “Hey beautiful.” Andreus
smiled, he was wearing a back suit with a
grey shirt and tie.

“Hi.” Katie wrapped her arms around
his neck and pulled his head down for a kiss.
He pulled away smiling.

“Now that’s the kind of welcome I
like.”

“Come in.” She led him through to the
living room.

“Andreus!” Rhiannon screamed and ran
into his arms.

“Hello princess, how are you?”

“I’m ok. I’m not coming with you this
weekend, I’m staying with nanny and
granddad.”

“Oh! Ok.”

“Andreus this is my mum Heather, dad
Gregory and my little sister Ellie, everyone
this is Andreus.” Andreus shook hands with
them all.

“It’s nice to meet you.” He smiled. Ten
minutes later Katie and Andreus walked out to
his car, he placed her weekend bag on the
backseat then pulled her into his arms and
pinned her against the side of his silver
Mercedes, bending for a long lingering kiss.
“I’ve been dying to do that.” He smiled. “I’ve
missed not waking up next to you every
morning.”

“I’ve missed you too.” They got into
his car and he drove them to his apartment. It
was decorated blue and cream throughout.

“It’s not as nice as my apartment in
Greece but it’s good enough.”

“It’s pretty.” Katie smiled.

“Come I’ll show you around.” He led
her through the apartment showing her each
room then they finally got to the master
bedroom. He put her bag on a chair then
pulled her into his arms. “I’ve got some good
news and some bad news for you. I’ve got a
few meetings in London so I’ll be staying
until Wednesday, but I have to fly straight out
to New York for a week, I wont get back to
Greece until the day before you are due to fly
out for two weeks.”

“Ok.” She tried not to look
disappointed but failed.

“Sweetheart I’m sorry I cant come next
weekend, if I could rearrange it I would but
there’s nothing I can do. I’m all yours for
those two weeks though.”

“It’s ok Andreus, I knew you travelled a
lot when we got together. I know there are
going to be times when you have to cancel
weekends.”
“I love you Katie.”

“I love you too.” He ran his fingers
through her hair.

“Are you hungry?”

“Only for you.” She smiled as she
undone his tie and started to unbutton his
shirt.

“Good answer.” He laughed as he

started to kiss her, he slowly made his way
down her neck as they undressed then he
picked her up and laid her on the bed.
Andreus reached into his bedside drawer and
pulled out a foil packet.

“Are all of your apartments so well
stocked?”

“Is that a hint of jealousy I hear.” He
laughed.

“No!” She pushed him away.

“What’s wrong? Surely you didn’t
think I was a twenty nine year old virgin when
we met!”

“Of course not.”
“So what’s wrong?” Katie looked away
from him. “Hey look at me.” He pulled her
chin so she had to look him in the eye. “Yes I
have had previous lovers but you don’t need
to be jealous. I don’t cheat.”

“I know that is a lie.”

“Really? How so?”

“Nik said you had four girlfriends on
the go before the wedding.”

“Nik has a big mouth with very little
brain power. They were dates I used to take to
business events, nothing more.”

“So who will you call on when you
need a pretty girl on your arm in the future?”

“Katie…”

“And I suppose you are going to say
you never slept with any of them too.”

“I’m not going to lie to you, yes I did
sleep with them, but they weren’t exclusive
relationships they all knew the score. In the
future if you can’t come to those events with
me, I’ll go alone. If this is going to work you
need to start trusting me.”

“I know, but it’s difficult when the
papers print pictures of you with different
women all the time.”
“They wont be anymore. I have spent
the last year celibate because I didn’t want
anyone other than you in my bed. I love you
Katie, I’m not going to hurt you.” He kissed
her gently. “I think the moment has
temporarily gone don’t you? Lets go and get
something to eat.” They got dressed and left
the apartment.

They spent the rest of the weekend in
bed, then Katie took Rhiannon out Monday
and Tuesday whilst Andreus was in meetings
before going back to his apartment at night.

“The time that Andreus was in New
York, Katie spent getting Rhiannon packed
and ready for her holiday, Andreus text and
called countless times each day.

Chapter 15

Katie got off the plane in Athens,
retrieved her bags then walked through to
arrivals. Andreus was waiting wearing stone
coloured chinos and a tight black t-shirt, he
smiled as she walked through. Katie ran over,
dropped her bag at his feet and fell into his
arms. “I’ve missed you too.” he laughed
before kissing her. Katie saw a flash of a
camera go off. “That’s be in the papers
tomorrow.”

“Oh sorry!”

“I’m not I couldn’t care less.” He
picked up her bag and took her hand. A Greek
guy with a camera walked over and took
another picture before asking Andreus
something Katie had no hope in
understanding, Andreus ignored him and kept
walking calmly to his car they got in and he
sped away quickly.

“What did he say?” Katie asked.

“He asked for a comment for the
picture, there’s little point in me wasting my
breath by the time that goes into print they’ll
probably know more about you than you
know yourself.”

“Oh my God! How do you put up with
that?”

“Through gritted teeth. Get used to it

baby.” Katie frowned. “I’m sorry, but what
can I do?”

Nothing, I’m not worried about me but
can we protect Rhiannon from it?”

“I can make sure they never print a
photo of her but that is it.”

“Do it. Tomorrow.”

“I’ll make the calls as soon as we get
in.”

“Thank you.” They drove to his
apartment in silence then Andreus carried her
bag to his bedroom. “Katie are you ok?” He
asked pulling her into his arms.

“Yeah, I’m fine I just never prepared
myself for being in the public eye, To me your
just Andreus not the rich architect in all the
papers.”

“You’ve certainly changed! Up until
recently you thought my being successful was
too good for you.”

“But I’ve got to know the real you
now.”

“I’m glad sweetheart. Why don’t you
go and have a nice relaxing bath whilst I ring
my solicitor and get protection for Rhiannon.
I’ll be in the study.”

“Ok, thanks Andreus.” She reached up
to kiss him before walking into the en-suite
bathroom. Katie ran the bath then sunk into
the hot bubbles and laid her head back with a

sigh. She was hoping that Andreus could get
protection for her little girl, she hated the
thought of Rhiannon’s face in all the
newspapers, she’d be open to abductors
demanding a high ransom with the knowledge
of Andreus’ wealth. Katie was dreading
something else too, Rhiannon’s father didn’t
even know of her existence, what if Kieran
saw the photo and put two and two together
then demand custody of her. The thought of
losing her precious daughter bought Katie to
tears. Rhiannon was her whole life.
